本文利用单电子非相对论Hartree-Fock-Slater和完全相对论Dirac-Fock-Slater两种离散变分局域密度泛函方法(DV-Xα), 对MX~4(M=Ti,Zr,Hf;X=Cl,Br)的电子基态和相应于低能UV光谱的激发态进行了计算, 结果与实验符合得较好。用Mulliken布居分析方法研究了分子的共价性质, 发现除HfBr~4外,相对论效应对金属与配体之间的键级影响很小。  相似文献

Polypyridyl multidentate ligands based on ethylenediamine backbones are important metal‐binding agents with applications in biomimetics and homogeneous catalysis. The seemingly hexadentate tpena ligand [systematic name: N,N,N′‐tris(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)ethylenediamine‐N′‐acetate] reacts with zinc chloride and zinc bromide to form trichlorido[μ‐N,N,N′‐tris(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)ethylenediamine‐N′‐acetato]dizinc(II), [Zn2(C22H24N5O2)Cl3], and tribromido[μ‐N,N,N′‐tris(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)ethylenediamine‐N′‐acetato]dizinc(II), [Zn2Br3(C22H24N5O2)]. One ZnII ion shows the anticipated N5O coordination in an irregular six‐coordinate site and is linked by an anti carboxylate bridge to a tetrahedral ZnX3 (X = Cl or Br) unit. In contrast, the CuII ions in aquatribromido[μ‐N,N,N′‐tris(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)ethylenediamine‐N′‐acetato]dicopper(II)–tribromido[μ‐N,N,N′‐tris(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)ethylenediamine‐N′‐acetato]dicopper(II)–water (1/1/6.5) [Cu2Br3(C22H24N5O2)][Cu2Br3(C22H24N5O2)(H2O)]·6.5H2O, occupy two tpena‐chelated sites, one a trigonal bipyramidal N3Cl2 site and the other a square‐planar N2OCl site. In all three cases, electrospray ionization mass spectra were dominated by a misleading ion assignable to [M(tpena)]+ (M = Zn2+ and Cu2+).  相似文献

The reactions of Te2Br with MoOBr3, TeCl4 with MoNCl2/MoOCl3, and Te with WBr5/WOBr3 yield black, needle-like crystals of [Te15X4][MOX4]2 (M = Mo, W; X = Cl, Br). The crystal structure determinations [Te15Br4][MoOBr4]2: monoclinic, Z = 1, C2/m, a = 1595.9(4) pm, b = 403.6(1) pm, c = 1600.4(4) pm, β = 112.02(2)°; [Te15Cl4][MoOCl4]2: C2/m, a = 1535.3(5) pm, b = 402.8(2) pm, c = 1569.6(5) pm, β = 112.02(2)°; [Te15Br4][WOBr4]2: C2, a = 1592.4(4) pm, b = 397.5(1) pm, c = 1593.4(5) pm, β = 111.76(2)° show that all three compounds are isotypic and consist of one-dimensional ([Te15X4]2+)n and ([MOX4]?)n strands. The structures of the cationic strands are closely related to the tellurium subhalides Te2X (X = Br, I). One of the two rows of halogen atoms that bridges the band of condensed Te6 rings is stripped off, and additionally one Te position has only 75% occupancy which leads to the formula ([Te15X4]2+)n (X = Cl, Br) for the cation. The anionic substructures consist of tetrahalogenooxometalate ions [MOX4]? that are linked by linear oxygen bridges to polymeric strands. The compounds are paramagnetic with one unpaired electron per metal atom indicating oxidation state Mv, and are weak semiconductors.  相似文献

The ligand dependence of metal-metal bonding in the d(3)d(3) face-shared M(2)X(9)(n-) (M(III) = Cr, Mo, W; M(IV) = Mn, Tc, Re; X = F, Cl, Br, I) dimers has been investigated using density functional theory. In general, significant differences in metal-metal bonding are observed between the fluoride and chloride complexes involving the same metal ion, whereas less dramatic changes occur between the bromide and iodide complexes and minimal differences between the chloride and bromide complexes. For M = Mo, Tc, and Re, change in the halide from F to I results in weaker metal-metal bonding corresponding to a shift from either the triple metal-metal bonded to single bonded case or from the latter to a nonbonded structure. A fragment analysis performed on M(2)X(9)(3-) (M = Mo, W) allowed determination of the metal-metal and metal-bridge contributions to the total bonding energy in the dimer. As the halide changes from F to I, there is a systematic reduction in the total interaction energy of the fragments which can be traced to a progressive destabilization of the metal-bridge interaction because of weaker M-X(bridge) bonding as fluoride is replaced by its heavier congeners. In contrast, the metal-metal interaction remains essentially constant with change in the halide.  相似文献

采用CCSD/6-311++G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p)方法研究了HCHO与卤素原子X(X=F、Cl、Br)的反应机理. 计算结果表明, 卤素原子X(X=F、Cl、Br)主要通过直接提取HCHO中的H原子生成HCO+HX(X=F、Cl、Br). 另外还可以生成稳定的中间体, 中间体再通过卤原子夺氢和氢原子直接解离两个反应通道分别生成HCO+HX(X=F、Cl、Br)和H+XCHO(X=F、Cl、Br). 其中卤原子夺氢通道为主反应通道, HCO和HX(X=F、Cl、Br)为主要的反应产物; 且三个反应的活化能均较低, 说明此类反应很容易进行, 计算结果与实验结果符合很好. 电子密度拓扑分析显示, 在HCHO+X反应通道(b)中出现了T型结构过渡态, 结构过渡态(STS)位于能量过渡态(ETS)之后. 并且按F、Cl、Br的顺序, 结构过渡态出现得越来越晚.  相似文献

(X = Br, Cl, F) by methylation of the corresponding thiophosphorylhalides in the system CH3F/SO2/MF5 (M = As, Sb) is reported. New five-coordinate complexes Co(ISQ-Pri)2Cl, Co(ISQ-Me)2Cl, Co(ISQ-Me)2I, Co(ISQ-Me)2(SCN), Mn(ISQ-Pri)2Cl, and Fe(ISQ-Me)2Br (ISQ-Pri and ISQ-Me are the 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-and 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-o-iminobenzosemiquinone radical anions, respectively) were synthesized. The complexes were characterized by UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy and magnetochemistry. The molecular structures of the Fe(ISQ-Me)2Br and Mn(ISQ-Pri)2Cl complexes were established by X-ray diffraction. The singlet ground state (S = 0) of the cobalt complexes is caused by antiferromagnetic coupling between the unpaired electrons of the radical ligands (S = 1/2) through the fully occupied atomic orbitals of low-spin cobalt(III) (d6, S = 0). The effective magnetic moments of the complexes at 10 K are 0.18 μB for Co(ISQ-Pri)2Cl and 0.16 μB for Co(ISQ-Me)2I. The ground state of the manganese complex is triplet (S = 1). Two unpaired electrons of the o-iminobenzosemiquinone ligands are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled with two of four unpaired electrons of high-spin manganese(III) (d4, S = 2). Vibrational Raman Spectra of Hexahalo Complexes of OsIV (X = Cl, I) and IrIV (X = Cl, Br) at 80 K The Resonance-Raman (RR) spectra of the tetrabutyl- resp. tetraethylammonium salts of [OsCl6]2?, [OsI6]2?, [IrCl6]2?, and [IrBr6]2? have been investigated with the excitation-lines of an Ar+ and Kr+ laser. Devices with a movable sample holder for low-temperature experiments (80 K) are described. The anormal intensities of some of the Ra-active fundamentals are attributed to the RR effect. As a rule the deformation vibration υ5(T2g) is RR enhanced if excited within a π—π*(dt2g)-CT-transition and the stretching vibration υ2(Eg) is RR-enhanced within a π—σ*(deg)-CT-transition. The dispersion of the degree of depolarisation of the three Ra-active fundamentals of [IrBr6]2? demonstrates, that this rule cannot only be applicated to the symmetrical but also to the antisymmetrical part of the scattering tensor.  相似文献

The CO exchange on cis-[M(CO)2X2]- with M = Ir (X = Cl, la; X = Br, 1b; X = I, 1c) and M = Rh (X = Cl, 2a; X = Br, 2b; X = I, 2c) was studied in dichloromethane. The exchange reaction [cis-[M(CO)2X2]- + 2*CO is in equilibrium cis-[M(*CO)2X2]- + 2CO (exchange rate constant: kobs)] was followed as a function of temperature and carbon monoxide concentration (up to 6 MPa) using homemade high gas pressure NMR sapphire tubes. The reaction is first order for both CO and cis-[M(CO)2X2]- concentrations. The second-order rate constant, k2(298) (=kobs)[CO]), the enthalpy, deltaH*, and the entropy of activation, deltaS*, obtained for the six complexes are respectively as follows: la, (1.08 +/- 0.01) x 10(3) L mol(-1) s(-1), 15.37 +/- 0.3 kJ mol(-1), -135.3 +/- 1 J mol(-1) K(-1); 1b, (12.7 +/- 0.2) x 10(3) L mol(-1) s(-1), 13.26 +/- 0.5 kJ mol(-1), -121.9 +/- 2 J mol(-1) K(-1); 1c, (98.9 +/- 1.4) x 10(3) L mol(-1) s(-1), 12.50 +/- 0.6 kJ mol(-1), -107.4 +/- 2 J mol(-1) K(-1); 2a, (1.62 +/- 0.02) x 10(3) L mol(-1) s(-1), 17.47 +/- 0.4 kJ mol(-1), -124.9 +/- 1 J mol(-1) K(-1); 2b, (24.8 +/- 0.2) x 10(3) L mol(-1) s(-1), 11.35 +/- 0.4 kJ mol(-1), -122.7 +/- 1 J mol(-1) K(-1); 2c, (850 +/- 120) x 10(3) L mol(-1), s(-1), 9.87 +/- 0.8 kJ mol(-1), -98.3 +/- 4 J mol(-1) K(-1). For complexes la and 2a, the volumes of activation were measured and are -20.9 +/- 1.2 cm3 mol(-1) (332.0 K) and -17.2 +/- 1.0 cm3 mol(-1) (330.8 K), respectively. The second-order kinetics and the large negative values of the entropies and volumes of activation point to a limiting associative, A, exchange mechanism. The reactivity of CO exchange follows the increasing trans effect of the halogens (Cl < Br < I), and this is observed on both metal centers. For the same halogen, the rhodium complex is more reactive than the iridium complex. This reactivity difference between rhodium and iridium is less marked for chloride (1.5: 1) than for iodide (8.6:1) at 298 K.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论方法,在TZ2P-STO基组水平下,对金属四重键化合物M2Cl4(PMe3)4(M=Cr,Mo,W)和Mo2X4(PMe3)4(X=F,Cl,Br,I)的几何结构进行优化,分析了电子结构,并运用TDDFT方法对其低占据激发态进行了计算.考虑相对论效应的ZORA方法能够较好地重现M2X4(PMe3)4的几何结构.M2X4(PMe3)4的电子结构分析表明其d电子的组态为σ2π4δ2,前线轨道能级顺序为πlig<πd/σd<δd<δd*.金属原子和卤素配体的改变虽然使轨道能量发生变化,但没有影响轨道的排布顺序.TDDFT方法对M2X4(PMe3)4δd→δd*和πd→δd*跃迁能量的计算较为准确,对πlig→δd*(LMCT)跃迁能量的计算误差较大.金属原子、卤素配体以及相对论效应对激发能的影响可以根据分子轨道能级的变化给予解释.  相似文献

The Gadolinium Carbide Halides, Gd4C2X3 (X = Cl, Br) The compounds Gd4C2X3 (X = Cl, Br) and Tb4C2Br3 have been prepared by reaction of the metals (RE), REX3, and C in sealed Ta capsules at 1 100° and 1 300°C, respectively. Monophasic samples of Gd4C2Br3 and Tb4C2Br3 were obtained by reacting stoichiometric mixtures of the starting materials for five days. The needle shaped crystals are bronze-coloured and sensitive to air and moisture. Gd4C2X3 crystallizes in the space group Pnma (No. 62) with lattice constants a = 1 059.6(4), b = 368.4(1), c = 1 962.7(8) pm (Gd4C2Cl3), a = 1 084.4(1), b = 373.0(1), c = 2 036.1(1) pm (Gd4C2Br3). According to Guinier photographs, Tb4C2Br3 is isotypic (a = 1 074.3(2), b = 370.6(1), c = 2 019.4(1) pm). In the crystal structure C is octahedrally coordinated by Gd. The Gd6 octahedra are linked via common edges to form corrugated layers. The X-anions coordinate all free edges and corners of these layers and connect them via Xi? Xi contacts parallel [001]. Gd4C2Br3 shows metallic conductivity. The magnetic susceptibility follows at high temperatures a Curie Weiss law with an effective moment of 7.95 μB. At temperatures below 50 K antiferromagnetic order is observed.  相似文献

Transition metal nitride halides MNX (M = Zr, Hf; X = Cl, Br, I) have two types of layer structured polymorphs, the alpha-form with the FeOCl type and the beta-form with the SmSI type. Both polymorphs consist of corrugated double M-N layers sandwiched between halogen layers, but with different atomic arrangements within the layers. The beta-form had been considered to be a high-temperature polymorph, because some beta-forms were obtained by thermal treatment of the corresponding alpha-forms. Here, the alpha-form was successfully transformed into the beta-form under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions; the new members of the beta-form were prepared for the first time from alpha-HfNBr, alpha-ZrNI, and alpha-HfNI using a high pressure of 3-5 GPa at 900 degrees C. The beta-form should be characterized as the high-pressure form rather than the corresponding high-temperature polymorph. This is the first high-pressure study on the polymorphs of metal nitride systems.  相似文献

Molecules of Li(n)X (n = 2, 3; X = Cl, Br, I) were examined with a magnetic sector mass spectrometer by surface ionization using a triple rhenium filament impregnated with fullerene (C60). The ionization energies obtained for Li(2)Cl, Li(2)Br and Li(2)I molecules are 3.8 +/- 0.1, 3.9 +/- 0.1 and 4.0 +/- 0.1 eV, respectively. The first ionization energy of Li(2)Cl is documented, while there are no literature data for the ionization energies of Li(2)Br and Li(2)I. The molecules of Li(3)Cl, Li(3)Br and Li(3)I were detected experimentally for the first time with ionization energies of 4.0 +/- 0.1, 4.1 +/- 0.1 and 4.1 +/- 0.1 eV, respectively. The ionization energies of Li(n)X (n = 2, 3; X = Cl, Br, I) are in correlation with the theoretical prediction of their hyperlithiated configurations.  相似文献

Halogen-hydride interactions between Z-X (Z = CN, NC and X = F, Cl, Br) as halogen donor and H-Mg-Y (Y = H, F, Cl, Br, CH(3)) as electron donor have been investigated through the use of Becke three-parameter hybrid exchange with Lee-Yang-Parr correlation (B3LYP), second-order M?ller-Plesset perturbation theory (MP2), and coupled-cluster single and double excitation (with triple excitations) [CCSD(T)] approaches. Geometry changes during the halogen-hydride interaction are accompanied by a mutual polarization of both partners with some charge transfer occurring from the electron donor subunit. Interaction energies computed at MP2 level vary from -1.23 to -2.99 kJ/mol for Z-F···H-Mg-Y complexes, indicating that the fluorine interactions are relatively very weak but not negligible. Instead, for chlorine- and bromine-containing complexes the interaction energies span from -5.78 to a maximum of -26.42 kJ/mol, which intimate that the interactions are comparable to conventional hydrogen bonding. Moreover, the calculated interaction energy was found to increase in magnitude with increasing positive electrostatic potential on the extension of Z-X bond. Analysis of geometric, vibrational frequency shift and the interaction energies indicates that, depending on the halogen, CN-X···H interactions are about 1.3-2.0 times stronger than NC-X···H interactions in which the halogen bonds to carbon. We also identified a clear dependence of the halogen-hydride bond strength on the electron-donating or -withdrawing effect of the substituent in the H-Mg-Y subunits. Furthermore, the electronic and structural properties of the resulting complexes have been unveiled by means of the atoms in molecules (AIM) and natural bond orbital (NBO) analyses. Finally, several correlative relationships between interaction energies and various properties such as binding distance, frequency shift, molecular electrostatic potential, and intermolecular density at bond critical point have been checked for all studied systems.  相似文献

在Cs对称性和ANO-S基组下, 使用全活化空间自洽场方法(CASSCF), 研究了卤代氰基卡宾自由基及其阴离子的低能电子激发态性质. 为了进一步考虑电子的动态相关效应,采用多组态二级微扰理论(CASPT2)获得更加精确的能量值. 计算结果表明, XCCN的基态是三重态. 单重态和三重态的能隙差ΔES-T(kJ/mol): 7.4(FCCN)<13.4(ClCCN)<16.6(BrCCN). 计算得到, XCCN(X=F, Cl, Br)最低垂直激发能分别为408.3, 385.4和 345.2 kJ/mol, 这归因于π(a′) →nxy 的电子跃迁; XCCN的电子亲和势分别为235.7, 233.0和 237.2 kJ/mol, 与HCCN相比, 其电子亲和势变大.  相似文献

Resonance Raman spectra of the cubic metal-halide complexes having the general formula [M(6)X(8)Y(6)](2)(-) (M = Mo or W; X, Y = Cl, Br, or I) are reported. The three totally symmetric fundamental vibrations of these complexes are identified. The extensive mixing of the symmetry coordinates that compose the symmetric normal modes expected in these systems is not observed. Instead the "group-frequency" approximation is valid. Furthermore, the force constants of both the apical and face-bridging metal-halide bonds are insensitive to the identity of either the metal or the halide. Raman spectra of related complexes with methoxy and benzenethiol groups as ligands are reported along with the structural data for [Mo(6)Cl(8)(SPh)(6)][NBu(4)](2). Crystal data for [Mo(6)Cl(8)(SPh)(6)][NBu(4)](2) at -156 degrees C: monoclinic space group P2(1)/c; a = 12.588(3), b = 17.471(5), c = 20.646(2) ?; beta = 118.53(1) degrees, V = 3223.4 ?(3); d(calcd) = 1.664 g cm(-)(3); Z = 2.  相似文献
