The quinazoline‐type ligand 2‐(4‐diethylamino‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐4‐methyl‐1,2‐dihydroquinazoline 3‐oxide ( HL 1 ; H is the deprotonatable hydrogen) was prepared. Two 2‐D supramolecular complexes [Cu2( L 2 )2(NO3)2] ( 1 ) and [Ni2( L 2 )2(CH3COO)2] ( 2 ) ( L 2 = 1‐(2‐{[(E)‐(4‐diethylamino‐2‐hydroxybenzylidene]amino} phenyl)ethanone oxime) were synthesized using HL 1 and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic methods, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. It revealed that 1 had coordinated two nitrate ions whereas 2 had acetate ions. In the crystal structures, six‐coordinated Cu (II) complex 1 formed an infinite 2‐D and X‐shaped 3‐D supramolecular frameworks. Simultaneously, Ni (II) complex 2 assembled into wavy 2‐D networks. Furthermore, electrochemical properties and antimicrobial activities of all compounds were as well investigated. Afterwards, the electrophilic and nucleophilic attack sites identified by electrostatic potential (ESP) calculations confirmed that hydrogen bonds were observed in the optimized structure of the crystal, and the closest contact between the active atoms of both complexes was confirmed through Hirshfeld surface analysis and time‐dependent density functional theory (TD‐DFT) calculations.  相似文献

Acrylamide complexes of metal nitrates: [M(O‐OC(NH2)CHCH2)n(H2O)m][NO3]2 (M = Co( 1 ), Ni( 2 ) (n = 6 and m = 0) and Zn( 3 ) (n = 4 and m = 2)) have been determined by using single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. All complexes crystallize in the triclinic space group . The structures of 1 and 2 represent octahedral species [M(AAm)6]2+ (AAm = O‐OC(NH2)CHCH2 and M = Co or Ni) and uncoordinated nitrate ions. The structure of 3 involves the octahedral cation [Zn(AAm)4(H2O)2]2+ in which the Zn2+ environment includes oxygen atoms of four acrylamide and two water molecules that are stabilized using ionic nitrate ions. The observations of the solid‐state IR spectroscopic vibrational frequencies of these acrylamide complexes are in agreement with the crystal structures.  相似文献

Three copper(II) complexes of the polydentate N‐donor ligand [4‐(4,6‐bis(1H‐pyrazol‐1‐yl)‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)morpholine] (L) with chlorides, nitrates, and perchlorates as anions, namely, [CuCl2(L)] · 0.5(MeCN) ( 1 ), [Cu(NO3)2(H2O)(L)] · (MeCN) ( 2 ), and [Cu(L)2](ClO4)2 · (MeCN) ( 3 ) were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X‐ray crystallographic analysis. In these complexes, the L ligand binds the copper(II) cation in the tridentate N3 form. The coordination arrangement around the central copper(II) atom is distorted square‐pyramidal in 1 but it is distorted octahedral in 2 and 3 . The interesting noncovalent interactions such as hydrogen bonds, π–π stacking, and anion–π interactions present in the solid‐state structures are discussed. The crystal results reveal that the counteranions play important roles in determining the diverse structures of these complexes. Moreover, the PXRD, TG, DRS, and fluorescence properties of compounds 1 – 3 were investigated.  相似文献

The reaction of lanthanide(III) nitrates with 4‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyleneamino‐1,2,4‐triazole (L) was studied. The compounds [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] ? 2 L, in which Ln=Eu ( 1 ), Gd ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), or Dy ( 4 ), obtained in a mixture of MeCN/EtOH have the same structure, as shown by XRD. In the crystals of these compounds, the mononuclear complex units [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] are linked to L molecules through intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions to form a 2D polymeric supramolecular architecture. An investigation into the optical characteristics of the Eu3+‐, Tb3+‐, and Dy3+‐containing compounds ( 1 , 3 , and 4 ) showed that these complexes displayed metal‐centered luminescence. According to magnetic measurements, compound 4 exhibits single‐ion magnet behavior, with ΔEeff/kB=86 K in a field of 1500 Oe.  相似文献

Five coordination compounds of bismuth, lanthanum and praseodymium nitrate with the oxygen‐coordinating chelate ligand (iPrO)2(O)PCH2P(O)(OiPr)2 (L) are reported: [Bi(NO3)3(L)2] ( 1 ), [La(NO3)3(L)2] ( 2 ), [Pr(NO3)3(L)2] ( 3 ), [La(NO3)3(L)(H2O)] ( 4 ) and [Pr(NO3)3(L)(H2O)] ( 5 ). The compounds were characterized by means of single crystal X‐ray crystallography, 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy in solution, solid‐state 31P NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, DTA‐TG measurements ( 1 , 2 and 4 ), conductometry and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS). In addition, DFT calculations for model compounds of 1 and 2 support our experimental work. In the solid state mononuclear coordination compounds were observed for 1 — 3 , whereas compounds 4 and 5 gave one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded polymers via water‐nitrate coordination. Despite of the similar ionic radii of bismuth(III), lanthanum(III) and praseodymium(III) for a given coordination number the bismuth and lanthanide compounds 1 — 3 are not isostructural. The bismuth compound 1 shows a 9‐coordinate bismuth atom whereas lanthanum(III) and praseodymium(III) atoms are 10‐coordinate in the lanthanide complexes 2 — 5 . The general LnO10 coordination motif in compounds 2 — 5 is best described as a distorted bi‐capped square antiprism. The BiO9 polyhedron might be deduced from the LnO10 polyhedron by replacing one oxygen ligand with a stereochemically active lone pair. The one‐to‐one complexes 4 and 5 dissociate in solution to give the corresponding one‐to‐two complexes 2 and 3 , respectively, and solvated Ln(NO3)3. In contrast to the lanthanides, the one‐to‐two bismuth complex 1 is less stable in CH3CN solution and partially dissociates to give solvated Bi(NO3)3 and (iPrO)2(O)PCH2P(O)(OiPr)2.

Self‐assembly reaction between hydrated rare‐earth (RE) nitrates RE(NO3)3 · 6H2O with K3Fe(CN)6 in H2O/DMF solution by employing the tridentate ligand 2, 2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine (terpy) as a capping ligand has yielded three cyanide‐bridged compounds [RE(terpy)(DMF)(H2O)2][Fe(CN)6] · 6H2O [RE = Y ( 1 ), Tb ( 2 ), Dy ( 3 )]. FT‐IR spectra confirmed the presence of terpy ligands and cyanide groups in compounds 1 – 3 . Single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis indicated that these compounds are isomorphous and adopt neutral [RE2Fe2] molecular squares, which are further linked through hydrogen bonding interactions to generate a three‐dimensional supramolecular network. Magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed that significant single ion magnetic anisotropy dominates the properties of these compounds.  相似文献

Seven lanthanide complexes [Ln(OPPh3)3(NO3)3] ( 1 – 3 ) (OPPh3 = triphenylphosphine oxide, Ln = Nd, Sm, Gd), [Dy(OPPh3)4(NO3)2](NO3) ( 4 ), [Ln(OPPh3)3(NO3)3]2 ( 5 – 7 ) (Ln = Pr, Eu, Gd) were synthesized by the reactions of different lanthanide salts and OPPh3 ligand in the air. These complexes were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, IR and fluorescence spectra. Structure analysis shows that complexes 1 – 4 are mononuclear complexes formed by OPPh3 ligands and nitrates. The asymmetric units of complexes 5 – 7 consist of two crystallographic‐separate molecules. Complex 1 is self‐assembled to construct a 2D layer‐structure of (4,4) net topology by hydrogen bond interactions. The other complexes show a 1D chain‐like structure that was assembled by OPPh3 ligands and nitrate ions through C–H ··· O interactions. Solid emission spectra of compounds 4 and 6 are assigned to the characteristic fluorescence of Tb3+ (λem = 480, 574 nm) and Eu3+ (λem = 552, 593, 619, 668 nm).  相似文献

A mesogenic Schiff-base, N,N′-di-(4-decyloxysalicylidene)-1′,3′-diaminobenzene, H2ddsdbz (abbreviated as H2L), that exhibits a nematic mesophase was synthesized and its structure was studied by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, NMR, and IR spectral techniques. The Schiff-base, H2L, upon condensation with hydrated lanthanide(III) nitrates yields LnIII complexes, [Ln2(LH2)3(NO3)4](NO3)2, where Ln?=?La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho. Analyses of the IR and NMR spectral data imply bidentate Schiff-base through two phenolate oxygen atoms in its zwitterionic form to LnIII, rendering the overall geometry of the complexes as a seven-coordinate polyhedron – possibly distorted mono-capped octahedron. Polarizing optical microscope and differential scanning calorimetry studies reveal that despite H2L being mesogenic, none of the LnIII complexes synthesized under this study exhibits mesomorphism.  相似文献

Four Schiff base complexes, [Cu2(L1)2(μ‐NCS)2] ( 1 ), [Cu2(L2)2(μ‐N3)2] ( 2 ), Cu[Cu(CH3COO)(L3)]2 ( 3 ), and [Zn{Zn(C3H4N2)(L3)}2(NO3)](NO3) ( 4 ) (where L1 = 2‐[(pyridin‐2‐ylmethylimino)methyl]phenol, L2 = 1‐[(pyridin‐2‐ylmethylimino)methyl]naphthalen‐2‐ol, and L3 = bis(salicylidene)‐1, 3‐propanediamine), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single crystal X‐ray determinations. Both 1 and 2 are structurally similar di‐nuclear complexes, which are located at crystallographic inversion centers (with the center of the central Cu2N2 ring). In 1 , each copper atom has a slightly distorted square pyramidal configuration, coordinated by two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom from L1 and another two terminal nitrogen atoms from two bridging thiocyanate anions. The Cu···Cu separation is 3.466(3) Å. The structure of 2 is similar to that of 1 , with Cu···Cu separation of 3.368(2) Å. Both 3 and 4 are linear tri‐nuclear complexes. In 3 , the central Cu2+ ion is located on an inversion centre and has a distorted octahedral coordination involving four bridging O atoms from two Schiff base ligands (L3) in the equatorial plane and one O atom from each bridging acetate group in the axial positions. The coordination around the terminal Cu2+ ions is irregular‐square pyramidal, with two O and two N atoms of L3 in the basal plane and one O atom from an acetate group in the apical position. The acetate bridges linking the central and terminal Cu2+ ions are mutually trans. The Cu···Cu separation is 3.009(3) Å. In 4 , the coordination configuration of the central and the terminal zinc atoms are similar to that of the 3 , with Zn···Zn separation of 3.153(4) Å. The three Schiff bases and the corresponding three copper complexes exhibit good antibacterial properties, while the zinc complex 4 has nearly no.  相似文献

Reactions of H3tda (H3tda = 1H‐1, 2, 3‐triazole‐4, 5‐dicarboxylic acid) with Sm(NO3)3 · 6H2O, Eu(NO3)3 · 6H2O, and Tb(NO3)3 · 6H2O, in the presence of NaOH under hydrothermal conditions, produced three new coordination polymers, [Ln2(tda)2(H2O)3] · 5H2O [Ln = Sm ( 1 ), Eu ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 )]. These compounds were structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), PXRD and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies of compounds 1 – 3 reveal that all compounds are three‐dimensional porous structures with chiral frameworks. Furthermore, the luminescence studies of compound 2 and 3 in the solid state reveal that they are potential luminescent materials at room temperature.  相似文献

Five new complex compounds of the formula Ln(phen)2(NO3)3 were prepared. The X‐ray structural analyses indicate that they crystallize isostructurally in the monoclinic space group C2/c (no. 15) with cell dimensions for example for Pr(phen)2(NO3)3: a = 11.194(1) Å, b = 18.095(2) Å, c = 13.101(2) Å, β = 100.52(1)°, V = 2609.1(6) Å3, Z = 4. The crystal structures consist of [Ln(phen)2(NO3)3] complex molecules. The rare earth atoms are coordinated by four N atoms of two phen ligands and six O atoms of three nitrato groups to complete a distorted bicapped dodecahedron. The [Ln(phen)2(NO3)3] complex molecules are assembled via π‐π stacking interactions between the neighboring phen ligands to form 1D columnar chains, which are then arranged in the crystal structures according to pseudo 1D close‐packed patterns.  相似文献

. The complex Hg4(L2)2(NO3)4 ( 1 ) (L2 = morpholin‐4‐ylpyridin‐2‐ylmethyleneamine) has been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure of 1 contains four mercury atoms, four nitrate anions (two terminal and two bridge ones) and two L2 ligand molecules. A chair shape, six‐membered ring is formed with the sequence OHgHgOHgHg built from Hg–Hg dumbbells and oxygen atoms from the nitrate co‐ligands. In the crystal structure, the asymmetric unit of the compound is built up by one‐half of the molecule. It contains the Hg22+ moiety with a mercury–mercury bonded core, in which one diimine ligand is coordinated to one of the mercury atoms. The nitrate anions act as anisobidentate and bidentate ligands.  相似文献

Abstract. Two radical–LnIII–radical complexes, [Ln(hfac)3(NITPh‐Ph)2] [Ln = Gd ( 1 ) and Ho ( 2 ), hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate; and NITPh‐Ph = 4′‐biphenyl‐4, 4, 5, 5‐tetramethylimidazoline‐1‐oxyl‐3‐oxide] were synthesized and characterized by X‐ray diffraction, elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, as well as IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy. X‐ray crystal structure analysis revealed that the structures of both complexes are isomorphous, the central LnIII ions are coordinated by six oxygen atoms from three hfac ligand molecules and two oxygen atoms from nitronyl radicals. The temperature dependencies of the magnetic susceptibilities were studied. They showed that in the GdIII complex, ferromagnetic interactions between GdIII and the radicals and antiferromagnetic interactions between the radicals coexist in this system (with JRad–Gd = 0.1 cm–1, JRad–Rad = –0.309 cm–1).  相似文献

Two Ag(I) complexes, [Ag2(bobb)2]⋅(NO3)2 ( 1 ) and [Ag2(crotonate)2(aobb)]n ( 2 ) (bobb =1,3‐bis(1‐benzylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐oxapropane; aobb =1,3‐bis(1‐allylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐oxopropane), have been synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, electrical conductivities, infrared and UV–visible spectral measurements and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Complex 1 is binuclear and three‐coordinated by two N atoms from two bobb ligands, while complex 2 is a unique metal organic compound with diamond‐like multinuclear Ag centers with each Ag bridged by two aobb ligands and two crotonate ions to form one‐dimensional single polymer chain structures and extended into two‐dimensional frameworks through π–π and intermolecular C─H⋅⋅⋅O hydrogen bonds. The adjacent Ag(I) centers are bridged by allyl from aobb which is not only a σ‐bonding ligand, but also a π‐acid ligand. The DNA binding modes of complexes 1 and 2 were investigated using electronic absorption titration, fluorescence spectra and viscosity measurements. The results suggest that the two complexes bind to DNA via an intercalative mode, and their binding affinity for DNA follows the order 2  >  1 . This is due to the chelating effects which can enhance the planar functionality of the metal complexes.  相似文献

A series of mer‐[Ln(NO3)3(Ph3PO)3] complexes were prepared from Ln(NO3)3 · xH2O and Ph3PO in chloroform (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, and Er). The La and Nd complexes were 0.25 CHCl3 solvates, whereas the others were solvent‐free. The identical reaction using Yb(NO3)3 · xH2O produced the unique salt trans‐[Yb(NO3)2(Ph3PO)4][Yb(NO3)4(Ph3PO)] · Et2O. All nitrate ions in all complexes are η2‐chelating. A comparison of the various [Ln(NO3)3(Ph3PO)3] structures, including those in the literature, reveals at least four common polymorphs, each of which is represented by isomorphic structures of multiple Ln ions. Luminescence of mer‐[Ln(NO3)3(Ph3PO)3] (Ln = Y, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, and Dy), trans‐[Yb(NO3)2(Ph3PO)4][Yb(NO3)4(Ph3PO)] and Ph3PO assignments are reported. Latva's empirical rule allows for the antenna effect, in which energy is transferred from the triplet state of the Ph3PO ligand, to occur only for Tb3+. Excitation via Ph3PO results in strong green luminescence for Tb3+ having twice the intensity as that which results from direct excitation of the f‐f transitions.  相似文献

The six‐step synthesis of the new podand‐type ligand 6,6′,6″‐[methylidenetri(1H‐pyrazole‐1,3‐diyl)]tris[pyridine‐2‐carboxylic acid] (LH3) is described. Reaction of LH3 with LnCl3 ?6 H2O (Ln=Eu, Gd, Tb) in MeOH resulted in the isolation of [LnL]?HCl complexes characterized by elemental analysis, mass and IR spectroscopy. Photophysical studies of the Eu and Tb complexes in aqueous solutions revealed the characteristic luminescence features of the metal atoms, indicative of an efficient ligand‐to‐metal energy‐transfer process. Determination of the luminescence quantum yields in H2O showed the Tb complex to be highly luminescent (?=15%), while, for the Eu complex, the quantum efficiency was only 2%. Excited‐state‐lifetime measurements in H2O and D2O evidenced the presence of ca. three H2O molecules in the first coordination sphere of the complexes. Investigation of the Gd complex allowed the determination of the ligand‐centered triplet state and showed the ligand to be well suited for energy transfer to the metal. The luminescence properties of the complexes are described, and the properties of the ligand as a suitable complexation pocket is questioned.  相似文献

Six novel Ln(III) Schiff base complexes were synthesized using rare earth metals with threonine and 5‐bromosalicylaldehyde, namely Pr(III), Sm(III), Gd(III), Tb(III), Er(III) and Yb(III) Schiff bases. These complexes were characterized using elemental analysis, molar conductivity, Fourier transform infrared and UV–visible spectroscopies, and thermogravimetry–differential thermal analysis. The general formula of the complexes is [Ln(L)(NO3)2(H2O)].NO3 (L = Schiff base ligand). The spectroscopic data reveal that the Schiff base ligand behaves as a tridentate ligand with ONO donor atoms sequencing towards the central metal ion. An investigation of fluorescence properties of the Sm(III), Er(III) and Tb(III) complexes shows that the Ln(III) ions can be sensitized efficiently by the ligand to some extent. Antimicrobial activity testing indicates that all six complexes exhibit antibacterial and antifungal ability against microbes with broad antimicrobial spectra. In addition, the antioxidant properties of the complexes were also screened. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Six lanthanide complexes [Ln(pmc)2NO3]n [Hpmc = pyrimidine‐2‐carboxylic acid, Ln = La ( 1 ), Pr ( 2 )], [Ln(pmc)2(H2O)3]NO3 · H2O [Ln = Eu ( 3 ), Tb ( 4 ) Dy ( 5 ), Er ( 6 )] were synthesized by the reactions of lanthanide nitrate and pyrimidine‐2‐carboxylic acid in water at room temperature. These complexes were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis, IR, circular dichroism (CD) and fluorescence spectra. Structure analysis shows that complexes 1 and 2 are isostructural with P43212 space group, whereas isostructural complexes 3 – 6 belong to the P21/c space group. In complexes 1 and 2 , the central metal atoms are coordinated by nitrates and pmc, which are self‐assembled to construct a 3D porous network with 62.62.62.62.62.62 (66) topology. In complexes 3 – 6 , H2O and pmc ligands are coordinated and the complexes exhibit a one‐dimensional zigzag chain, which is further expanded into a 3D structure by hydrogen bonding. In addition, the circular dichroism of 1 and 2 proves that the two complexes are both chiral with achiral ligand of Hpmc. Luminescent measurements of compounds 3 – 5 indicate that the characteristic fluorescence of Eu3+, Tb3+, and Dy3+ are observed.  相似文献

A new planar aromatic tridentate terpyridine-like ligand, 2,4-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-6-diethylamino-1,3,5-triazine (L), has been synthesized and the structures of its complexes [YL(NO3)3] (1) and [LnL(NO3)3(H2O)]L [Ln?=?La (2), Ce (3), Pr (4), Nd (5), Eu (6)] have been determined by X-ray crystal structural analysis. The structures of the five lanthanoid complexes are isomorphous and isostructural but different from the crystal structure of the yttrium complex [YL(NO3)3]. The latter shows a nine-coordinate metal center whereas the crystal structure of the lanthanoid complexes [LnL(NO3)3(H2O)]L show a 10-coordinate metal center. The?π–π?stacking and hydrogen bonding between the coordinated and uncoordinated L molecules sensitized the Ln luminescence. The thermal behavior of the ligand and its complexes is discussed.  相似文献
