Let X be a projective smooth holomorphic Poisson surface, in other words, whose anti-canonical bundle is effective. We show that moduli spaces of certain Bridgeland stable objects on X are smooth. Moreover, we construct Poisson structures on these moduli spaces.

From Smyth’s classification, modular compactifications of the moduli space of pointed smooth rational curves are indexed by combinatorial data, the so-called extremal assignments. We explore their combinatorial structures and show that any extremal assignment is a finite union of atomic extremal assignments. We discuss a connection with the birational geometry of the moduli space of stable pointed rational curves. As applications, we study three special classes of extremal assignments: smooth, toric, and invariant with respect to the symmetric group action. We identify them with three combinatorial objects: simple intersecting families, complete multipartite graphs, and special families of integer partitions, respectively.  相似文献

Let Md be the moduli space of stable sheaves on P2with Hilbert polynomial dm+1.In this paper,we determine the effective and the nef cone of the space Md by natural geometric divisors.Main idea is to use the wall-crossing on the space of Bridgeland stability conditions and to compute the intersection numbers of divisors with curves by using the Grothendieck-Riemann-Roch theorem.We also present the stable base locus decomposition of the space M6.As a byproduct,we obtain the Betti numbers of the moduli spaces,which confirm the prediction in physics.  相似文献

For a K3 surface X and its bounded derived category of coherent sheaves D(X), we have the notion of stability conditions on D(X) in the sense of T. Bridgeland. In this paper, we show that the moduli stack of semistable objects in D(X) with a fixed numerical class and a phase is represented by an Artin stack of finite type over C. Then following D. Joyce's work, we introduce the invariants counting semistable objects in D(X), and show that the invariants are independent of a choice of a stability condition.  相似文献

Otsuki tori form a countable family of immersed minimal two‐dimensional tori in the unitary three‐dimensional sphere. According to the El Soufi‐Ilias theorem, the metrics on the Otsuki tori are extremal for some unknown eigenvalues of the Laplace‐Beltrami operator. Despite the fact that the Otsuki tori are defined in quite an implicit way, we find explicitly the numbers of the corresponding extremal eigenvalues. In particular we provide an extremal metric for the third eigenvalue of the torus.  相似文献

We prove a conjecture of B. Grünbaum stating that the set of affine invariant points of a convex body equals the set of points invariant under all affine linear symmetries of the convex body. As a consequence we give a short proof of the fact that the affine space of affine linear points is infinite dimensional. In particular, we show that the set of affine invariant points with no dual is of the second category. We investigate extremal cases for a class of symmetry measures. We show that the centers of the John and Löwner ellipsoids can be far apart and we give the optimal order for the extremal distance between the two centers.  相似文献

Given an odd-periodic algebraic triangulated category, we compare Bridgeland's Hall algebra in the sense of Bridgeland(2013) and Gorsky(2014), and the derived Hall algebra in the sense of Ten(2006), Xiao and Xu(2008) and Xu and Chen(2013), and show that the former one is the twisted form of the tensor product of the latter one and a suitable group algebra.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study several norms which are constructed in order to satisfy an extremal property with respect to the Mahler measure. These norms are a natural generalization of the metric Mahler measure introduced by Dubickas and Smyth. We show that bounding these norms on a certain subspace implies Lehmer?s conjecture and in at least one case that the converse is true as well. We evaluate these norms on a class of algebraic numbers that include Pisot and Salem numbers, and for surds. We prove that the infimum in the construction is achieved in a certain finite dimensional space for all algebraic numbers in one case, and for surds in general, a finiteness result analogous to that of Samuels and Jankauskas for the t-metric Mahler measures.  相似文献

本文主要研究环流形上的极值度量的存在性和K-稳定性.本文将Donaldson关于环流形上有关常数量曲率度量的稳定性概念的约化推广到一般的极值度量的情形.通过这个约化,本文证明环流形上极值度量的存在性可以推出流形对于环形变的相对K-稳定性.在不知道是否存在极值度量的情形下,本文还给出环流形相对K-稳定的一个充分性条件.对环曲面的情形,基于Arrezo-Pacard-Singer的工作,本文证明任意一个环曲面上存在含有极值度量的Ka¨hler类,并给出一些环曲面上有不存在极值度量的K¨ahler类的例子.关于一般的环流形上的极值度量的存在性,本文用变分方法研究其弱解,证明在能量泛函逆紧性假设下,存在弱极小化子.  相似文献

We study a moduli space of ASD connections over S3×R. We consider not only finite energy ASD connections but also infinite energy ones. So the moduli space is infinite dimensional in general. We study the (local) mean dimension of this infinite dimensional moduli space. We show the upper bound on the mean dimension by using a “Runge-approximation” for ASD connections, and we prove its lower bound by constructing an infinite dimensional deformation theory of periodic ASD connections.  相似文献

In this paper we show that dissipative reaction-diffusion equations in unbounded domains posses extremal semistable ground states equilibria, which bound asymptotically the global dynamics. Uniqueness of such positive ground state and their approximation by extremal equilibria in bounded domains is also studied. We obtain some estimates for the distortions of the moduli of quadrilaterals, the reduced moduli, and Robin capacities depending on the variation of the boundary of a domain. We show that for sufficiently smooth variations of the boundary the corresponding variations of the moduli and capacities are proportional to the area of the variable part of the domain in some extremal metric. We apply these results to studying the generalized Lavrent’ev problem of finding the shape of an infinitely thin airfoil of given length with the maximal aerodynamical lift under some restriction on the curvature of the airfoil.  相似文献

Under general multivariate regular variation conditions, the extreme Value-at-Risk of a portfolio can be expressed as an integral of a known kernel with respect to a generally unknown spectral measure supported on the unit simplex. The estimation of the spectral measure is challenging in practice and virtually impossible in high dimensions. This motivates the problem studied in this work, which is to find universal lower and upper bounds of the extreme Value-at-Risk under practically estimable constraints. That is, we study the infimum and supremum of the extreme Value-at-Risk functional, over the infinite dimensional space of all possible spectral measures that meet a finite set of constraints. We focus on extremal coefficient constraints, which are popular and easy to interpret in practice. Our contributions are twofold. First, we show that optimization problems over an infinite dimensional space of spectral measures are in fact dual problems to linear semi-infinite programs (LSIPs) – linear optimization problems in Euclidean space with an uncountable set of linear constraints. This allows us to prove that the optimal solutions are in fact attained by discrete spectral measures supported on finitely many atoms. Second, in the case of balanced portfolia, we establish further structural results for the lower bounds as well as closed form solutions for both the lower- and upper-bounds of extreme Value-at-Risk in the special case of a single extremal coefficient constraint. The solutions unveil important connections to the Tawn–Molchanov max-stable models. The results are illustrated with two applications: a real data example and closed-form formulae in a market plus sectors framework.  相似文献

Summary In this paper we establish the existence of extremal solutions for a class of nonlinear evolution inclusions defined on an evolution triple of Hilbert spaces. Then we show that these extremal solutions are in fact dense in the solutions of the original system. Subsequently we use this density result to derive nonlinear and infinite dimensional versions of the bang-bang principle for control systems. An example of a nonlinear parabolic distributed parameter system is also worked out in detail.  相似文献
