We prove that if ${\Gamma\curvearrowright (X, \mu)}$ is a free ergodic rigid (in the sense of Popa in Ann Math 163:809–889, 2006) probability measure preserving action of a group Γ with positive first ${\ell^2}$ -Betti number, then the II1 factor ${L^{\infty}(X)\rtimes\Gamma}$ has a unique group measure space Cartan subalgebra, up to unitary conjugacy. We deduce that many ${\mathcal{HT}}$ factors, including the II1 factors associated with the usual actions ${\Gamma\curvearrowright \mathbb{T^2}}$ and ${\Gamma\curvearrowright}$ ${{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb R)/{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb Z)}$ , where Γ is a non-amenable subgroup of ${{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb Z)}$ , have a unique group measure space decomposition.  相似文献

Let V be a two-dimensional absolutely irreducible ${\overline{\mathbb Qp}}$ -representation of ${{\rm Gal}(\overline{\mathbb Qp}/\mathbb Qp)}$ and let ${\prod(V)}$ be the ${{\rm GL}_2(\mathbb Qp)}$ Banach representation associated by Colmez??s p-adic Langlands correspondence. We establish a link between the action of the Lie algebra of ${{\rm GL}_2(\mathbb Qp)}$ on the locally analytic vectors ${\prod(V)^{\rm an}}$ of ${\prod(V)}$ , the connection ${\nabla}$ on the ${(\varphi, \Gamma)}$ -module associated to V and the Sen polynomial of V. This answers a question of Harris, concerning the infinitesimal character of ${\prod(V)^{\rm an}}$ . Using this result, we give a new proof of a theorem of Colmez, stating that ${\prod(V)}$ has nonzero locally algebraic vectors if and only if V is potentially semi-stable with distinct Hodge?CTate weights.  相似文献

Let ${G/\mathbb Q}$ be the simple algebraic group Sp(n, 1) and ${\Gamma=\Gamma(N)}$ a principal congruence subgroup of level N ≥ 3. Denote by K a maximal compact subgroup of the real Lie group ${G(\mathbb R)}$ . Then a double quotient ${\Gamma\backslash G(\mathbb R)/K}$ is called an arithmetically defined, quaternionic hyperbolic n-manifold. In this paper we give an explicit growth condition for the dimension of cuspidal cohomology ${H^{2n}_{cusp}(\Gamma\backslash G(\mathbb R)/K,E)}$ in terms of the underlying arithmetic structure of G and certain values of zeta-functions. These results rely on the work of Arakawa (Automorphic Forms of Several Variables: Taniguchi Symposium, Katata, 1983, eds. I. Satake and Y. Morita (Birkhäuser, Boston), pp. 1–48, 1984).  相似文献

A locally convex Lie group G has the Trotter property if, for every $x_1, x_2 \in \mathfrak{g }$ , $$\begin{aligned} \exp _G(t(x_1 + x_2))=\lim _{n \rightarrow \infty } \left(\exp _G\left(\frac{t}{n}x_1\right)\exp _G\left(\frac{t}{n}x_2\right)\right)^n \end{aligned}$$ holds uniformly on compact subsets of $\mathbb{R }$ . All locally exponential Lie groups have this property, but also groups of automorphisms of principal bundles over compact smooth manifolds. A key result of the present article is that, if G has the Trotter property, $\pi : G \rightarrow {\mathrm{GL}}(V)$ is a continuous representation of G on a locally convex space, and $v \in V$ is a vector such that $\overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)v :=\frac{d}{dt}|_{t=0} \pi (\exp _G(tx))v$ exists for every $x \in \mathfrak{g }$ , then the map $\mathfrak{g }\rightarrow V,x \mapsto \overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)v$ is linear. Using this result we conclude that, for a representation of a locally exponential Fréchet–Lie group G on a metrizable locally convex space, the space of $\mathcal{C }^{k}$ -vectors coincides with the common domain of the k-fold products of the operators $\overline{\mathtt{d}\pi }(x)$ . For unitary representations on Hilbert spaces, the assumption of local exponentiality can be weakened to the Trotter property. As an application, we show that for smooth (resp., analytic) unitary representations of Fréchet–Lie supergroups $(G,\mathfrak{g })$ where G has the Trotter property, the common domain of the operators of $\mathfrak{g }=\mathfrak{g }_{\overline{0}}\oplus \mathfrak{g }_{\overline{1}}$ can always be extended to the space of smooth (resp., analytic) vectors for G.  相似文献

For permutations ${\pi}$ and ${\tau}$ of lengths ${|\pi|\le|\tau|}$ , let ${t(\pi,\tau)}$ be the probability that the restriction of ${\tau}$ to a random ${|\pi|}$ -point set is (order) isomorphic to ${\pi}$ . We show that every sequence ${\{\tau_j\}}$ of permutations such that ${|\tau_j|\to\infty}$ and ${t(\pi,\tau_j)\to 1/4!}$ for every 4-point permutation ${\pi}$ is quasirandom (that is, ${t(\pi,\tau_j)\to 1/|\pi|!}$ for every ${\pi}$ ). This answers a question posed by Graham.  相似文献

Applying the boundedness on weighted Lebesgue spaces of the maximal singular integral operator S * related to the Carleson?CHunt theorem on almost everywhere convergence, we study the boundedness and compactness of pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with non-regular symbols in ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R})), PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the weighted Lebesgue spaces ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ , with 1?< p <? ?? and ${w\in A_p(\mathbb{R})}$ . The Banach algebras ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ consist, respectively, of all bounded measurable or piecewise continuous ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded total variation, and the Banach algebra ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ consists of all Lipschitz ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions of exponent ${\gamma \in (0,1]}$ on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded variation on dyadic shells. Finally, for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ generated by all pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with symbols ${a(x, \lambda) \in PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the space ${L^p(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ , we construct a non-commutative Fredholm symbol calculus and give a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A \in \mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ .  相似文献

Let (M,g) be an n-dimensional, compact Riemannian manifold and ${P_0(\hbar) = -\hbar{^2} \Delta_g + V(x)}$ be a semiclassical Schrödinger operator with ${\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}$ . Let ${E(\hbar) \in [E-o(1),E+o(1)]}$ and ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}}$ be a family of L 2-normalized eigenfunctions of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ with ${P_0(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar} = E(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar}}$ . We consider magnetic deformations of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ of the form ${P_u(\hbar) = - \Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) + V(x)}$ , where ${\Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) = (\hbar d + i \omega_u(x))^*({\hbar}d + i \omega_u(x))}$ . Here, u is a k-dimensional parameter running over ${B^k(\epsilon)}$ (the ball of radius ${\epsilon}$ ), and the family of the magnetic potentials ${(w_u)_{u\in B^k(\epsilon)}}$ satisfies the admissibility condition given in Definition 1.1. This condition implies that kn and is generic under this assumption. Consider the corresponding family of deformations of ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0, \hbar_0]}}$ , given by ${(\phi^u_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in(0, \hbar_0]}}$ , where $$\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}:= {\rm e}^{-it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}\phi_{\hbar}$$ for ${|t_0|\in (0,\epsilon)}$ ; the latter functions are themselves eigenfunctions of the ${\hbar}$ -elliptic operators ${Q_u(\hbar): ={\rm e}^{-it_0P_u(\hbar)/\hbar} P_0(\hbar) {\rm e}^{it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}}$ with eigenvalue ${E(\hbar)}$ and ${Q_0(\hbar) = P_{0}(\hbar)}$ . Our main result, Theorem1.2, states that for ${\epsilon >0 }$ small, there are constants ${C_j=C_j(M,V,\omega,\epsilon) > 0}$ with j = 1,2 such that $$C_{1}\leq \int\limits_{\mathcal{B}^k(\epsilon)} |\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}(x)|^2 \, {\rm d}u \leq C_{2}$$ , uniformly for ${x \in M}$ and ${\hbar \in (0,h_0]}$ . We also give an application to eigenfunction restriction bounds in Theorem 1.3.  相似文献

We develop a Hilbert module version of the Haagerup property for general C*-algebras ${{\mathcal{A} \subseteq \mathcal{B}}}$ . We show that if ${\alpha : \Gamma \curvearrowright \mathcal{A}}$ is an action of a countable discrete group Γ on a unital C*-algebra ${\mathcal{A}}$ , then the reduced C*-algebra crossed product ${\Gamma \ltimes _{\alpha, r} \mathcal{A}}$ has the Hilbert ${\mathcal{A}}$ -module Haagerup property if and only if the action α has the Haagerup property. We are particularly interested in the case when ${\mathcal{A} = C(X)}$ is a unital commutative C*-algebra. We compare the Haagerup property of such an action ${\alpha: \Gamma \curvearrowright C(X)}$ with the two special cases when (1) Γ has the Haagerup property and (2) Γ is coarsely embeddable into a Hilbert space. We also prove a contractive Schur mutiplier characterization for groups coarsely embeddable into a Hilbert space, and a uniformly bounded Schur multiplier characterization for exact groups.  相似文献

Let G be a connected complex Lie group and Γ a cocompact lattice in G. Let H be a connected reductive complex affine algebraic group and \({\rho\, : \Gamma\, \longrightarrow H}\) a homomorphism such that \({\rho(\Gamma)}\) is not contained in some proper parabolic subgroup of H. Let \({E^\rho_H}\) be the holomorphic principal H–bundle on G/Γ associated to ρ. We prove that \({E^\rho_H}\) is polystable. If ρ satisfies the further condition that \({\rho(\Gamma)}\) is contained in a compact subgroup of H, then we prove that \({E^\rho_H}\) is stable.  相似文献

We consider the Dirichlet problem for biharmonic maps u from a bounded, smooth domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb R^n (n\ge 5)}$ to a compact, smooth Riemannian manifold ${N\subset{\mathbb {R}}^l}$ without boundary. For any smooth boundary data, we show that if u is a stationary biharmonic map that satisfies a certain boundary monotonicity inequality, then there exists a closed subset ${\Sigma\subset\overline{\Omega}}$ , with ${H^{n-4}(\Sigma)=0}$ , such that ${\displaystyle u\in C^\infty(\overline\Omega\setminus\Sigma, N)}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathfrak X }_d$ be the $p$ -adic analytic space classifying the semisimple continuous representations $\text{ Gal}(\overline{\mathbb Q }_p/\mathbb Q _p) \rightarrow \mathrm GL _d(\overline{\mathbb Q }_p)$ . We show that the crystalline representations are Zarski-dense in many irreducible components of ${\mathfrak X }_d$ , including the components made of residually irreducible representations. This extends to any dimension $d$ previous results of Colmez and Kisin for $d = 2$ . For this we construct an analogue of the infinite fern of Gouvêa–Mazur in this context, based on a study of analytic families of trianguline $(\varphi ,\Gamma )$ -modules over the Robba ring. We show in particular the existence of a universal family of (framed, regular) trianguline $(\varphi ,\Gamma )$ -modules, as well as the density of the crystalline $(\varphi ,\Gamma )$ -modules in this family. These results may be viewed as a local analogue of the theory of $p$ -adic families of finite slope automorphic forms and they are new already in dimension $2$ . The technical heart of the paper is a collection of results about the Fontaine–Herr cohomology of families of trianguline $(\varphi ,\Gamma )$ -modules.  相似文献

This paper addresses the question of retrieving the triple ${(\mathcal X,\mathcal P, E)}$ from the algebraic geometry code ${\mathcal C = \mathcal C_L(\mathcal X, \mathcal P, E)}$ , where ${\mathcal X}$ is an algebraic curve over the finite field ${\mathbb F_q, \,\mathcal P}$ is an n-tuple of ${\mathbb F_q}$ -rational points on ${\mathcal X}$ and E is a divisor on ${\mathcal X}$ . If ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+1}$ where g is the genus of ${\mathcal X}$ , then there is an embedding of ${\mathcal X}$ onto ${\mathcal Y}$ in the projective space of the linear series of the divisor E. Moreover, if ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+2}$ , then ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ , the vanishing ideal of ${\mathcal Y}$ , is generated by ${I_2(\mathcal Y)}$ , the homogeneous elements of degree two in ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ . If ${n >2 \deg(E)}$ , then ${I_2(\mathcal Y)=I_2(\mathcal Q)}$ , where ${\mathcal Q}$ is the image of ${\mathcal P}$ under the map from ${\mathcal X}$ to ${\mathcal Y}$ . These three results imply that, if ${2g+2\leq m < \frac{1}{2}n}$ , an AG representation ${(\mathcal Y, \mathcal Q, F)}$ of the code ${\mathcal C}$ can be obtained just using a generator matrix of ${\mathcal C}$ where ${\mathcal Y}$ is a normal curve in ${\mathbb{P}^{m-g}}$ which is the intersection of quadrics. This fact gives us some clues for breaking McEliece cryptosystem based on AG codes provided that we have an efficient procedure for computing and decoding the representation obtained.  相似文献

Let Ω be a bounded, smooth domain in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ . We consider the functional $$I(u) = \int_\Omega e^{u^2}\,dx$$ in the supercritical Trudinger-Moser regime, i.e. for ${\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2dx > 4\pi}$ . More precisely, we are looking for critical points of I(u) in the class of functions ${u \in H_0^1 (\Omega )}$ such that ${\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2 \, dx = 4\, \pi \, k\, (1+\alpha)}$ , for small α > 0. In particular, we prove the existence of 1-peak critical points of I(u) with ${\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2dx = 4\pi(1 + \alpha)}$ for any bounded domain Ω, 2-peak critical points with ${\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2dx = 8\pi(1 + \alpha)}$ for non-simply connected domains Ω, and k-peak critical points with ${\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2 dx = 4k \pi(1 + \alpha)}$ if Ω is an annulus.  相似文献

In this note, we prove a sharp lower bound for the log canonical threshold of a plurisubharmonic function ${\varphi}$ with an isolated singularity at 0 in an open subset of ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ . This threshold is defined as the supremum of constants c > 0 such that ${e^{-2c\varphi}}$ is integrable on a neighborhood of 0. We relate ${c(\varphi)}$ to the intermediate multiplicity numbers ${e_j(\varphi)}$ , defined as the Lelong numbers of ${(dd^c\varphi)^j}$ at 0 (so that in particular ${e_0(\varphi)=1}$ ). Our main result is that ${c(\varphi)\geqslant\sum_{j=0}^{n-1} e_j(\varphi)/e_{j+1}(\varphi)}$ . This inequality is shown to be sharp; it simultaneously improves the classical result ${c(\varphi)\geqslant 1/e_1(\varphi)}$ due to Skoda, as well as the lower estimate ${c(\varphi)\geqslant n/e_n(\varphi)^{1/n}}$ which has received crucial applications to birational geometry in recent years. The proof consists in a reduction to the toric case, i.e. singularities arising from monomial ideals.  相似文献

For a finite group G, let m(G) denote the set of maximal subgroups of G and π(G) denote the set of primes which divide |G|. When G is a cyclic group, an elementary calculation proves that |m(G)| = |π(G)|. In this paper, we prove lower bounds on |m(G)| when G is not cyclic. In general, ${|m(G)| \geq |\pi(G)|+p}$ | m ( G ) | ≥ | π ( G ) | + p , where ${p \in \pi(G)}$ p ∈ π ( G ) is the smallest prime that divides |G|. If G has a noncyclic Sylow subgroup and ${q \in \pi(G)}$ q ∈ π ( G ) is the smallest prime such that ${Q \in {\rm syl}_q(G)}$ Q ∈ syl q ( G ) is noncyclic, then ${|m(G)| \geq |\pi(G)|+q}$ | m ( G ) | ≥ | π ( G ) | + q . Both lower bounds are best possible.  相似文献

Let G B (x, y) be the Green’s function of the unit ball B in ${\mathbb{R}^n, n \ge 3,}$ and ${\Gamma_B (x,y)=\int_BG_B(x, z)G_B(z, y)dz}$ the iterated Green’s function. The function $$E_x^y(\tau_B) = \frac{\Gamma_B(x, y)}{G_B(x, y)}$$ is the expectation of the lifetime of a Brownian motion starting at ${x \in \overline{B}}$ , killed on exiting B and conditioned to converge to and to be stopped at ${y \in \overline{B}}$ . The aim of the paper is to prove that $$\sup_{x \in \partial B,y \in B} E_x^y(\tau_B) = \sup_{x,y \in \partial B} E_x^y(\tau_B) = E_{x_0}^{-x_0}(\tau_B), x_0 \in\partial B$$ and that the maximum value of ${E_x^y(\tau_B)}$ occurs if and only if x, y are diametrically opposite points on the boundary of B.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the actions of the operator $S_\mathbb{D }$ or its adjoint $S_\mathbb{D }^*$ on the poly-Bergman spaces of the unit disk $\mathbb{D }.$ Let $k$ and $j$ be positive integers. We prove that $(S_\mathbb{D })^{j}$ is an isometric isomorphism between the true poly-Bergman subspace $\mathcal{A }_{(k)}^2(\mathbb{D })\ominus N_{(k),j}$ onto the true poly-Bergman space $\mathcal{A }_{(j+k)}^2(\mathbb{D }),$ where the linear space $N_{(k),j}$ have finite dimension $j.$ The action of $(S_\mathbb{D })^{j-1}$ on the canonical Hilbert base for the Bergman subspace $\mathcal{A }^2(\mathbb{D })\ominus \mathcal{P }_{j-1},$ gives a Hilbert base $\{ \phi _{ j , k } \}_{ k }$ for $\mathcal{A }_{(j)}^2(\mathbb{D }).$ It is shown that $\{ \phi _{ j , k } \}_{ j, k }$ is a Hilbert base for $L^2(\mathbb{D },d A)$ such that whenever $j$ and $k$ remain constant we obtain a Hilbert base for the true poly-Bergman space $\mathcal{A }_{(j)}^2(\mathbb{D })$ and $\mathcal{A }_{(-k)}^2(\mathbb{D }),$ respectively. The functions $\phi _{ j , k }$ are polynomials in $z$ and $\overline{z}$ and are explicitly given in terms of the $(2,1)$ -hypergeometric polynomials. We prove explicit representations for the true poly-Bergman kernels and the Koshelev representation for the poly-Bergman kernels of $\mathbb{D }.$ The action of $S_\Pi $ on the true poly-Bergman spaces of the upper half-plane $\Pi $ allows one to introduce Hilbert bases for the true poly-Bergman spaces, and to give explicit representations of the true poly-Bergman and poly-Bergman kernels.  相似文献

We generalize the well-known Lax-Milgram theorem on the Hilbert space to that on the Banach space. Suppose that ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ is a continuous bilinear form on the product ${X\times Y}$ of Banach spaces X and Y, where Y is reflexive. If null spaces N X and N Y associated with ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ have complements in X and in Y, respectively, and if ${a(\cdot, \cdot)}$ satisfies certain variational inequalities both in X and in Y, then for every ${F \in N_Y^{\perp}}$ , i.e., ${F \in Y^{\ast}}$ with ${F(\phi) = 0}$ for all ${\phi \in N_Y}$ , there exists at least one ${u \in X}$ such that ${a(u, \varphi) = F(\varphi)}$ holds for all ${\varphi \in Y}$ with ${\|u\|_X \le C\|F\|_{Y^{\ast}}}$ . We apply our result to several existence theorems of L r -solutions to the elliptic system of boundary value problems appearing in the fluid mechanics.  相似文献
