We present the results of an experimental investigation of a RF splitting of57Fe hyperfine lines in the regime of NMR and Mössbauer double resonance. The experiments have been performed as a function of RF field intensity and static magnetic field magnitude. The intensity of the RF components and the separation between them are extremely sensitive to the frequency and amplitude of the RF magnetic field. The RF splitting of hyperfine lines is inversely proportional to the strength of the static magnetic field.  相似文献

A novel radio frequency (RF) field intensity mapping or imaging method using a composite NMR spin-echo sequence is proposed. A composite spin-echo RF pulse with 90 degrees y-180 degrees x-90 degrees y sequence makes phase change in the final image depending on the RF field intensity on the object. The resultant phase change or phase map can be used to obtain the actual RF flip-angle map for a given condition which includes the status of tuning and RF inhomogeneity, etc. Bloch equation has been solved numerically to obtain the effects of the RF field intensity as well as the main magnetic field inhomogeneity and the results are used for the mapping (imaging) of the RF field intensity. Phantom studies have been performed using a 1.5 Tesla whole body MRI system and the results are presented.  相似文献

共振线偏振光激发原子张量磁矩,本文理论研究在矢量磁场和射频场的共同作用下,张量磁矩进动的模型,求解刘维尔方程获得透射光时域完整解析解,包括直流、一次和二次谐波分量.研究发现:当进动的拉比频率Ω1/(22~(1/2))时,两谐波间的干涉效应使直流分量和一次谐波对称成分的单吸收峰劈裂成双峰,裂距((Ω~2+Ω~4-Ω~2-1)~(3/2))~(1/2),一次谐波反对称成分在共振处产生干涉条纹.研究结果显示,谐波间的干涉也可导致直流分量和二次谐波线宽仅为一次谐波线宽的38%,且存在磁场取向临界点,在不同的取向区间分别利用直流及两谐波共振信号辨析磁场变化,可获得最佳测磁灵敏度;同时还可通过共振时直流分量及两谐波对称成分振幅来确定磁场与激光极化方向的夹角,利用两谐波反对称成分相移的差值来确定待测磁场在垂直光极化方向投影与射频场方向的夹角,进而实现结构简单的张量磁矩进动型矢量磁力仪.这种磁力仪适合构成磁力仪阵列,可用于磁定位、水下磁异常源的检测和地磁导航等领域.  相似文献

The spectra of gamma-resonance lines excited using the amplitude modulation of the pumping field of the Mössbauer effect were studied in unordered magnetic materials with a strong spread of magnetic hyperfine fields at nuclei of Mössbauer isotopes. The analysis demonstrates that the spectra of modulation harmonics consist of narrow lines, and their form and intensity are determined by the contribution of magnetic local hyperfine fields, which are excited at a pumping frequency. The inversion of intensities for odd harmonics with the change in sign of detuning of the pumping frequency relative to the average Larmor frequency of the Mössbauer nucleus was noted. The application of this method to the spectral analysis of inhomogeneous magnetic materials is discussed.  相似文献

Radiofrequency (RF) Mössbauer spectra in experiments on forward scattering by thick samples of iron borate (FeBO3) below the Neel temperature are measured. The spectra have satellites spaced by doubled RF-field frequency. A semiclassical model of Mössbauer transmission through a magnetic absorber exposed to RF reversals of a hyperfine field on nuclei is proposed. The model reproduces all features of the measured spectra. Experiments and modeling calculations indicate additional possibilities for studying soft magnetic materials using this measurement scheme.  相似文献

We report a new line-narrowing effect associated with triple-quantum resonance in a two-level NMR system. The experiment was carried out in the rotating frame on (19)F nuclei in Teflon; namely, the magnetization is spin-locked along the RF field and the triple-quantum resonance is induced by the oscillating field perpendicular to the RF field. We observed that the decay time of the triple-quantum nutation becomes extraordinarily long at a particular intensity and frequency of the oscillating field. The decay time is about seven times as long as that of the single-quantum nutation and also much longer than that of the magic angle nutation. The mechanism is not interpreted by straightforward analogy to the theory of the current magic angle narrowing.  相似文献

The theory of transmission of magnetic quantum beats of γ radiation, induced by an RF magnetic field in the magnetic resonance method, is considered. The dependence of the γ-resonance spectra of harmonics on the “optical” path length and the polarization of the incident γ radiation is analyzed. It is shown that the dependence of the harmonic intensity on the “optical” path length is nonmonotonic. The polarization selection of harmonics and their spectral sensitivity are revealed.  相似文献

研制了高通鸟笼线圈,使用氩气作为工质气体对射频天线的工作性能进行了初步评估。利用COMSOL5.4模拟出了鸟笼天线在13.56MHz的工作频率下,电场和磁场呈线性极化分布。对鸟笼线圈进行了电路结构解剖,推导出了其谐振频率计算公式。利用热耦合红外测温仪测试了正常工作状态下的鸟笼线圈外表温度明显低于传统射频天线,电容器最高温度仅65.8°。使用光谱仪对螺旋波等离子体放电光谱特性进行诊断。通过朗缪尔探针诊断了不同压强和磁场强度下螺旋波等离子体密度,在1.0Pa、600Gs、射频功率700W条件下等离子体密度达到1.62×1018m-3。诊断了正向功率和反向功率对应的等离子体密度,其与磁滞现象变化趋势雷同。测试了螺旋波等离子体的径向密度分布,其在轴心处密度达到最高。探究了无磁场条件下等离子体特性,其密度值不会发生大幅度跃迁,纵向磁场是引发螺旋波等离子体放电的关键因素,低压条件下有利于得到更低的电子温度,最低达到2.67eV。表明鸟笼线圈低热耗、高馈入的特性使其在激发大体积的高密度螺旋波等离子体方面具有明显优势,可以投入到下一阶段氢气螺旋波等离子体的激...  相似文献

Unilateral magnetic resonance techniques, where magnet and radio frequency (RF) coil are placed on one side of the sample, can provide valuable information about a sample which otherwise cannot be accommodated in conventional high spectral resolution magnetic resonance systems. A unilateral magnetic resonance imaging approach utilizing the stray field from a disc magnet and a butterfly geometry RF coil is described. The coil excites spins in a volume centered around an arc through the sample. Translating the RF coil relative to the magnet and recording the signal at each translational location creates a projection of the signal in a tomographic slice through the sample. Rotating the RF coil relative to the sample and repeating the translation creates projections through the sample at different angles. Backprojecting this information yields an image. A proof of concept device operating on this principle at 12.4 MHz was constructed and characterized. Projections through three phantoms are presented with a 1.2-4 cm field of view, thickness of 102 microm, and at a distance of 3mm from the RF coil and 14 mm from the magnet. The edge spread function (ESF) was measured resulting in a 4mm full width at half maximum (FWHM) line spread function (LSF) estimation using a Gaussian model. The amplitudes of gradient-echoes produced using static field gradients are sensitive to diffusion of tissue water during the echo evolution time. Gradient-echoes have been used to produce MR images in which image intensity is proportional to the self-diffusion coefficient of water. However, such measurements are subject to error due to the presence of background magnetic field gradients caused by variations in local magnetic susceptibility. These local gradients add to the applied gradients. The use of radiofrequency (RF) gradients to produce gradient-echoes may avoid this problem. The RF magnetic field is orthogonal to the offset field produced by local magnetic susceptibility gradients. Thus, the effect of the local gradients on RF gradient-echo amplitude is small if the RF field is strong enough to minimize resonance offset effects. The effects of susceptibility gradients can be further reduced by storing magnetization longitudinally during the echo evolution period. A water phantom was used to evaluate the effects of background gradients on the amplitudes of RF gradient-echoes. A surface coil was used to produce an RF gradient of between 1.3 and 1.6 gauss/cm. Gradient-echoes were detected with and without a 0.16 gauss/cm static magnetic field gradient applied along the same direction as the RF gradient. The background static field gradient had no significant effect on the decay of RF gradient-echo amplitude as a function of echo evolution time. In contrast, the effect of the background gradient on echoes produced using a 1.6 gauss/cm static field gradient is calculated to be significant. This analysis suggests that RF gradient-echoes can produce MR images in which signal intensity is a function of the self-diffusion coefficient of water, but is not significantly affected by background gradients.  相似文献

Millimeter-wave emission from the rippled-field magnetron (cross-field free electron laser (FEL)) is investigated experimentally and theoretically. In this device, electrons move in quasi-circular orbits under the combined action of a radial electric field, a uniform axial magnetic field, and a radial azimuthally periodic wiggler magnetic field. In excess of 300 kW of RF power is observed in two narrow spectral lines whose frequency can be tuned continuously from ~25 to ~50 GHz by variation of the axial magnetic field. The observations are interpreted as a FEL type of instability, associated with a resonance in the particle motion of a layer of electrons embedded in the dense spacecharge cloud. The resonance is shown to occur when 2kw?0 ? (?>0/?0) ?1 -(?p/?0)2, where kw is the wiggler wavenumber, ?0 is the azimuthal electron velocity, ?0 is the relativistic cyclotron frequency in the axial magnetic field, wp is the relativistic plasma frequency, and ?0 = [1 - (?0/c)2]-1/2 of the resonant electron layer.  相似文献

 从Maxwell方程组出发,推导了高频H型放电离子源放电空间的场分布, 并采用Mafia软件进行了三维实体建模,计算了高频离子源放电击穿前和稳定工作后的电磁场分布,得到了高频离子源放电空间电磁场分布的直观图像。通过比较击穿前高频电场的轴向和环向分量,得出了轴向电场在高频离子源击穿中起主要作用的结论,并进而推导出了高频离子源的击穿判据,得出了气体击穿时离子源击穿电压和放电管内气压的关系,与实验结果符合较好。  相似文献

A systematic experimental and numerical evaluation of several basic approaches to multiple-quantum magic angle spinning (MQMAS) NMR is presented for spin-32 nuclei. The approaches use identical MQ excitation, via a single RF pulse of high power, and three types of methods for conversion to observable coherence: (a) nutation by strong continuous wave pulse; (b) rotation-induced adiabatic coherence transfer (RIACT), and (c) fast amplitude modulation (FAM-1). The optimization strategies and maximum achievable MQMAS efficiencies of (87)Rb in RbNO(3) and LiRbSO(4) are investigated using several coherence transfer schemes under a wide range of experimental parameters. These parameters include the strength of the RF magnetic field nu(RF), the sample rotation speed nu(R), the length of the conversion period, and the modulation frequency in FAM-1. The data provide new insights into the spin dynamics involved in these techniques and the experimental guidelines for achieving the best sensitivity. The RF requirements for maximum efficiency of conversion depend on the method to be used. In general, FAM-1 performs better than the nutation and RIACT methods in terms of efficiency and off-resonance behavior, especially when nu(RF) is small compared to the quadrupole frequency nu(Q). The experiments performed using nutation, RIACT, and FAM-1 methods yield similar resolution in the isotropic dimension, regardless of nu(RF).  相似文献

A continuous wave (CW) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum is typically displayed as the first harmonic response to the application of 100 kHz magnetic field modulation, which is used to enhance sensitivity by reducing the level of 1/f noise. However, magnetic field modulation of any amplitude causes spectral broadening and sacrifices EPR spectral intensity by at least a factor of two. In the work presented here, a CW rapid-scan spectroscopic technique that avoids these compromises and also provides a means of avoiding 1/f noise is developed. This technique, termed non-adiabatic rapid sweep (NARS) EPR, consists of repetitively sweeping the polarizing magnetic field in a linear manner over a spectral fragment with a small coil at a repetition rate that is sufficiently high that receiver noise, microwave phase noise, and environmental microphonics, each of which has 1/f characteristics, are overcome. Nevertheless, the rate of sweep is sufficiently slow that adiabatic responses are avoided and the spin system is always close to thermal equilibrium. The repetitively acquired spectra from the spectral fragment are averaged. Under these conditions, undistorted pure absorption spectra are obtained without broadening or loss of signal intensity. A digital filter such as a moving average is applied to remove high frequency noise, which is approximately equivalent in bandwidth to use of an integrating time constant in conventional field modulation with lock-in detection. Nitroxide spectra at L- and X-band are presented.  相似文献
