We investigate the electrical properties of the nanostructured magnetic colloid without and with magnetic field. The competition between the directional motion of the charged magnetic nanoparticles and other minor nonmagnetic impurities (also small amount of ions) under applied voltage and their random orientation due to thermal activation is implemented to elaborate the electrically conduction mechanism under zero magnetic field. Two equivalent electric circuits are employed for explaining the charging and discharging processes. The tunnelling conduction mechanism upon application of externally magnetic field may exist in the nanostructured magnetic colloid. The alternation of the two conduction mechanisms accounts for the current spikes when the magnetic field is switched on or off. This work presents the peculiar electrical phenomena of the magnetically colloidal system.  相似文献

Zn1-xCoxO (x = 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10 and 0.20) diluted magnetic semiconductors are prepared by the sol-gel method. The structural and magnetic properties of the samples are studied using x-ray diffraction (XRD), extended x-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). The XRD patterns does not show any signal of precipitates that are different from wurtzite type ZnO when Co content is lower than x = 0.10. An EXAFS technique for the Co K-edge has been employed to probe the local structures around Co atoms doped in ZnO powders by fluorescence mode. The simulation results for the first shell EXAFS signals indicate that Zn sites can be substituted by Co atoms when Co content is lower than x = 0.05. The SQUID results show that the samples (x 〈 0.05) exhibit clear hysteresis loops at 300K, and magnetization versus temperature from 5 K to 350K at H = 100 Oe for the sample x = 0.02 shows that the samples have ferromagnetism above room temperature. A double-exchange mechanism is proposed to explain the ferromagnetic properties of the samples.  相似文献

We propose a novel scheme to construct one-,two- or three-dimensional (1D,2D or 3D) atomic magnetic lattices by using various arrays of microscopic magnetic traps,which are composed of some arrays of current-carrying wires.The magnetic field distributions from 1D,2D and 3D arrays of the current-carrying wires are calculated,and some interesting and periodic magnetic microstructures are found.Our study shows that these magnetic lattices may be used to prepare 1D,2D or 3D photonic crystals and so on.  相似文献

With proper erosion of sample surface and making a grid of crystal boundaries, the magnetic and crystal1ine microstruct ures of Sr-La-Co M-type ferrites of nominal composition of La0.2 Sr08Fe11.8Co0.2 O19 (at. %) have been investigated by using magnetic force microscopy. By calculating average diameter and thickness, and average alignment degree of the grains of the ferrites, recognizing their domain patterns and calculating the proportion of grains with single domain or multi-domains, the Sr-La-Co M-type ferrites with high magnetic performance have been characterized at microcrystalline and micromagnetic level. In addition, we has interpreted why the grains always present plate-like domains.  相似文献

Co0.04 Ti0.96O2 powders are fabricated by sol-gel method. The structure and magnetic properties are investigated under different annealing conditions systematically with emphasis on the influence of oxygen pressure. Pure anatase structure was acquired for all the samples annealed at 450℃ for one hour. The samples annealed in air exhibit evident room-temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM) with a small magnetic moment of 0.029μB per Co atom and coercivity Hc of 26 Oe, while the samples annealed in vacuum have strong RTFM with a larger magnetic moment of 1.18μB per Co atom and Hc of 430 Oe. The zero-field spin echo nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of ^59Co is obtained to prove the existence of Co dusters in the latter samples, implying that the Co dusters are responsible for the strong RTFM in the samples annealed in vacuum. No Co cluster could be observed using both XPS and NMR techniques in the samples annealed in air, implying that the RTFM found in these sample sis intrinsic.  相似文献

Magnetic-dipole rotational (MR) bands were discovered about 15 years ago without any theoretical prediction in contrast to the super-deformed (SD) bands which were predicted long ago. First identification of a quasirotational structure as MR band occurred around 1992 although Kr isotopes probably have the first set of data having the signatures of MR bands as shown by us. Our first compilation of MR bands listed 120 MR bands in 56 nuclides which have now grown to more than 180 bands in 80 nuclides. We have observed new MR bands in the A = 130 mass region in 137Pr, 139Nd and 135Ba nuclei. This led to the observation of the smallest MR bands in 137Pr, multiple minima in the γ deformation in 135Ba, coexistence of band structure based on these minima and band crossing of MR bands in A = 130 region. Some of these results have been reviewed in this paper along with theoretical calculations. There are still a number of questions related to MR bands which have not been fully resolved. The role of neutrons/protons in magnetic rotation still needs to be delineated. Do the MR bands follow the I(I + 1) behaviour? Are these structures as regular as normal rotational bands? How important is the existence of deformation for MR bands? We address some of these questions in this paper.  相似文献

We investigate magnetic and crystalline microstructures of melt-spun (Fe0.675Pt0.325)100-xBx (x=12, 14, 16, 18,20) nanocomposite ribbons after optimal thermal treatment using a magnetic force microscope. The magnetic microstructures are characterized by darker spots adjacent to brighter ones in a sub-micro scale and in random distribution. It is found that the strength of the exchange coupling interaction between the crystals in the 10-100 nm scale, implied by the maximum value (δM)max of the Henkel plot, could be roughly described by the ratio of the average width of the magnetic spots w^- to the average crystal size D^- for the ribbons. Moreover, we find that the intrinsic coercivity jHc of the ribbons is sensitive to their crystal sizes, and the smaller D^-, the higher jHc. Finally, by using roughness analysis, the curve of the root mean square values (δФ)rms of the phase shift of the magnetic force images versus the boron content x is obtained, which is qualitatively consistent with that of the magnetization σ12 kOe of the ribbons versus x.  相似文献

Mechanical and magnetic properties of Rh in bcc, fcc structures and RhH in cubic structure are investigated by using first-principles calculations. Theoretical strengths of these structures are given for the first time. The results show that the NaCl-type cubic RhH has a lower bulk modulus and a theoretical strength larger than those of Rh in bcc and fcc structures. A strong magneto-volume effect of a transition from low magnetic moment-low cell volume'' to high magnetic moment-large cell volume'' is also found for both the bcc and fcc Rh structures as well as RhH.  相似文献

[ZnO(0.5 nm)/Co(0.6 nm)]60 multilayers were fabricated by magnetron sputtering. The magnetic, transport and optical properties were studied. The ferromagnetic state at low temperature was demonstrated. Most of the grains in the samples will be unblocked when temperature is below 50K. The measured magneto-resistance at 4.8K is higher than 30%. This value is larger than any other reported data. The transport mechanism may come down to a combination of tunnelling conduction with the second-order hopping. Some small peaks on transmittance curves were found, the matter is still open.  相似文献

Fe29Cerl and Fe19Ni81 antidot arrays, with different dimensions, are prepared with the rf magnetron sputtering method onto the porous alumina substrate. The size and shape of antidot arrays are characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The glancing angle x-ray diffraction patterns of Fe29C071 and FelgNi81 antidot arrays indicate the bcc and fcc structures, respectively. The coercivities of both the alloys show abnormal thickness dependence, which are discussed qualitatively by considering the pinning and the thickness effect to the films.  相似文献

ZFSR experiments on CeSb and DySb reveal fast spin dynamics even in their magnetically ordered states below 16.2 and 9.5 K, respectively. Above these first order transitions both pnictides exhibit strong frequency shifts in TF pointing to some magnetic precursors. The signals below T N show spontaneous rotating contributions. For CeSb several commensurately modulated antiferromagnetic phases containing paramagnetic sheets are confirmed. With the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio(NJL) model we calculate the properties of pion and σ-meson at finite temperature and finite magnetic field. The obtained temperature and magnetic field strength dependence of the constituent quark mass M, the pion and σ-meson masses and the neutral pion decay constant indicates that, in the simple four fermion interaction model, there exists the magnetic catalysis effect. It also shows that the Gell-Mann–Oakes–Renner relation is violated obviously with the increasing of the temperature, and the effect of the magnetic field becomes pronounced only around the critical temperature. The deviation of the critical temperatures obtained with different criteria indicates that the chiral phase transition driven by the temperature in the magnetic field strength region we have considered is in fact a crossover.  相似文献

We study the Kondo screening of a spin-1/2 magnetic impurity in the hybrid nodal line semimetals(NLSMs) and the type-Ⅱ NLSMs by using the variational method. We mainly study the binding energy and the spin–spin correlation between magnetic impurity and conduction electrons. We find that in both the hybrid and type-Ⅱ cases, the density of states(DOS) is always finite, so the impurity and the conduction electrons always form bound states, and the bound state is more easily formed when the DOS is large. Meanwhile, due to the unique dispersion relation and the spin–orbit couplings in the NLSMs, the spatial spin–spin correlation components show very interesting features. Most saliently, various components of the spatial spin–spin correlation function decay with 1/r~2 in the hybrid NLSMs, while they follow 1/r~3 decay in the type-Ⅱ NLSMs. This property is mainly caused by the special band structures in the NLSMs, and it can work as a fingerprint to distinguish the two types of NLSMs.  相似文献

Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect in TbCo2-xFex compounds are studied by DC magnetic measurement. With increasing content of Fe, the entropy changes decrease slightly, though the Curie temperature is tuned from 231 K (x = 0) to 303 K (x = 0.1). Magnetic entropies of TbCo2 compound are calculated by using mean field approximation (MFA). Results estimated by using Maxwell relation are consistent with that of MFA calculation. It is shown that the entropy changes are mainly derived from the magnetic entropy changes. The lattice has almost no contribution to the entropy change in the vicinity of phase transition.  相似文献

A new kind of instability driven by the magnetic field gradient and curvature (MFGC) in toroidal plasmas is presented. It is found that the MFGC drift modes possess finite growth rates even if the plasma pressure gradient vanishes. In addition, the effects of plasma pressure gradient and safety factor on the MFGC modes have been analysed numerically.  相似文献
