A lot of development resources are consumed during the software testing phase fundamentally consisting of module testing, integration, testing and system testing. Then, it is of great importance for a manager to decide how to effectively spend testing-resources on software testing for developing a quality and reliable software.In this paper, we consider two kinds of software testing-resource allocation problems to make the best use of the specified testing-resources during module testing. Also, we introduce a software reliability growth model for describing the time-dependent behavior of detected software faults and testing-resource expenditures spent during the testing, which is based on a nonhomogeneous Poisson process. It is shown that the optimal allocation of testing-resources among software modules can improve software reliability.  相似文献

The paper considers performance and reliability of fault-tolerant software running on a hardware system that consists of multiple processing units. The software consists of functionally equivalent but independently developed versions that start execution simultaneously. The computational complexity and reliability of different versions are different. The system completes the task execution when the outputs of a pre-specified number of versions coincide. The processing units are characterized by different availability and processing speed. It is assumed that they are able to share the computational burden perfectly and that execution of each version can be fully parallelized.  相似文献

The paper describes a decision support system (DSS) for multiple criteria decision analysis (MCDA). It is assumed that the information about the trade-offs is given in the form of lower and upper bounds. The software helps the user to identify candidate solutions from a finite set of decision alternatives and can be used in an interactive decision process. 三防系统软件是坦克装甲车辆防护系统中的安全关键软件,对其安全性分析是十分必要的.定义了k(0,1)—时间Petri网(K(0,1)-TPN),该网是对时间Petri网的一种扩展,对于输入不同、运行过程相同及其控制机构相同或不同的系统分析建模具有普遍的应用价值.应用k(0,1)—时间Petri网及其动态的运行规则,并采用合成技术建立起了三防系统的模型.通过对运行时序、状态转移等的分析,得出了若干个三防软件系统存在的危险状态,并对软件及其系统的修改提出了建议.  相似文献

Software rejuvenation, as an effective policy to enhance the performance of software system, has been discussed broadly with the hypothesis that the software system being well posed. A system being well posed means that the dynamical solution not only exists and is unique but also is stable, which means the dynamical solution converges to steady solution as time tends to infinity. To enrich the theory basis of the software system, and to simulate the dynamical solution which is also an instantaneous availability of the software system with rejuvenation, this article models the behaviour of software system by a group of ordinary and partial equations. With the theory of strong continuous semigroup, this article proves that the system is well posed. As a result, the expression and simulation of instantaneous availability of the system is presented.  相似文献

This paper discusses some of the early thinking about the development of a conference-based decision support system. It presents a scheme for the practical development of the mapping of argumentation (‘cognitive mapping’), particularly in the field of strategic planning. The objective is to redesign software (COPE) so that it may become both an effective conferencing system for the collection of ‘synthetic wisdom’ and yet also facilitate the analysis of the qualitative and quantitative features of the models so constructed. As networks are growing up, more and more information becomes available every day. Despite the presence of software enabling communications and content sharing, they are not always shared among people inside networks. We present here an architecture aimed at helping people to share information items and find collaborators inside an organization. It is part of our PIAF framework, an intelligent agent system used to develop recommender and personalization software. Vector supercomputers are designed with two levels of parallelism in order to achieved computational efficiency: low level parallelism through vector operations and high level parallelism with multiple independent processors. These innovations have a significant impact on the development of algorithms for network optimization.In this paper a framework for the vectorization and multitasking of optimization software is developed. It is then applied on the primal truncated Newton algorithm for nonlinear generalized network problems. The vectorization and multitasking of the algorithm is discussed and illustrated with computational experiments with the software system NLPNETG on the CRAY series of vector multiprocessors.  相似文献

Operating system (OS) acts as an intermediary between software and hardware in computer-based systems. In this paper, we analyze the core of the typical Linux OS, Linux kernel, as a complex network to investigate its underlying design principles. It is found that the Linux Kernel Network (LKN) is a directed network and its out-degree follows an exponential distribution while the in-degree follows a power-law distribution. The correlation between topology and functions is also explored, by which we find that LKN is a highly modularized network with 12 key communities. Moreover, we investigate the robustness of LKN under random failures and intentional attacks. The result shows that the failure of the large in-degree nodes providing basic services will do more damage on the whole system. Our work may shed some light on the design of complex software systems.  相似文献

在其深层次机理上,港口物流系统竞争能力必受其物质技术支撑体系的制约.结合智慧港口和第五代港口基本理论,可得出深层次物质技术支撑体系主要有:物质资源禀赋、城市经济系统、物联网系统、港口经营系统、绿色效率系统等.以相关港口物流系统竞争力基本理论为指导,考虑到中国各港口的实际情况,结合数据获得的难易程度,分别从基础设施、发展环境、智慧技术、服务水平、低碳绩效五个方面遴选出18个评价指标,按照模糊信息熵理论,利用全国24个主要港口2001—2013年的原始数据,通过数学软件Matlab编程,计算出系统层指标的信息熵和权重及全国8个代表性港口2013年的竞争能力综合评价值,并以福建省福州港为例,对其进行横向比较和纵向时序分析.  相似文献

考虑到在通信系统中接收端存在时滞问题,针对SQCF系统,以Lyapunov稳定性理论和矩阵论为基础,提出一种系统的全局混沌同步方案.通过选取适当的耦合参数,使误差系统全局渐近稳定,即使得响应系统在t+τ时刻的状态渐进地趋向于驱动系统在t时刻的状态.并用Mathematic软件给出了数值模拟,理论分析和数值仿真表明,该方法可以较快地实现混沌同步.对系统的第三变量z(t)进行扰动,数值仿真表明在扰动系统下仍能很好地保持同步,表明同步系统具有抗干扰性.  相似文献

Component based software system approach is concerned with the system development by integrating components. The component based software construction primarily focuses on the view that software systems can be built up in modular fashion. The modular design is a logical collection of several independent developed components that are assembled with well defined software architecture. These components can be developed in-house or can be obtained commercially from outside market making build versus buy decision an important consideration in development process. Cohesion and coupling (C&C) plays a major role in determining the system quality in terms of reliability, maintainability and availability. Cohesion is defined as the internal interaction of components within the module. On the other hand, coupling is the external interaction of the module with other modules i.e. interaction of components amongst the modules of the software system. High cohesion and low coupling is one of the important criteria for good software design. Intra-modular coupling density (ICD) is a measure that describes the relationship between cohesion and coupling of modules in a modular software system and its value lies between zero and one. This paper deals with the selection of right mix of components for a modular software system using build-or-buy strategy. In this paper, fuzzy bi-criteria optimization model is formulated for component selection under build-or-buy scheme. The model simultaneously maximizes intra-modular coupling density (ICD) and functionality within the limitation of budget, reliability and delivery time. The model is further extended by incorporating the issue of compatibility amongst the components of the modules. A case study is devised to explain the formulated model.  相似文献

Recent years have seen a number of attempts to apply both AI methods and AI software tools to the development of both simulations and simulation packages. This paper discusses the motivation behind such work: the increasing need for AI researchers to include simulation in AI systems and use simulation in research, and the need to model intelligent behaviour in OR simulation models. The current research and development effort is reviewed. A system called PROSS (the PROlog Simulation System), constructed to allow the integration of AI methods with traditional discrete simulation, is then briefly presented. It is concluded that AI software tools, and some of the novel approaches to simulation being taken by AI researchers, will have a considerable impact on simulation.  相似文献
