A highly diastereoselective and practical biomimetic total synthesis of (±)‐basiliolide B has been achieved through the study of the two proposed biosynthetic pathways (O‐methylation and O‐acylation) for the unprecedented 7‐methoxy‐4,5‐dihydro‐3H‐oxepin‐2‐one (C ring). The synthesis featured a cyclopropanation/ring opening strategy for establishing the stereogenic centers at C8 and C9, a biomimetic 2‐pyrone Diels–Alder cycloaddition for the synthesis of the ABD ring system, and finally a highly efficient biomimetic intramolecular O‐acylation for the C ring formation. This result provides an important perspective on the biosynthetic origin of the unprecedented 7‐membered acyl ketene acetal moiety of the C ring.  相似文献

Through a biomimetic pathway, hyperolactone D, 4-hydroxyhyperolactone D, and hyperolactone C were synthesized from methyl acetoacetate via Weiler's dianion method, asymmetric allylic alkylation, biomimetic lactonization, oxidation, and cyclization. The stereochemistry of the quaternary carbon was controlled efficiently by Palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation. This strategy was also used for the synthesis of hyperolactone B.  相似文献

A possible biomimetic synthesis of pyridomacrolidin has been proposed and experimentally supported by carrying out a model study. Regio and stereospecific [3+2] cycloaddition of an in situ generated unusual di-tert-butylated acyl nitrone with Z-2-cyclodecenone and subsequent aromatisation was the key step in our proposed biomimetic synthesis. Finally a pyridomacrolidin analogue was prepared via Friedel-Crafts di-de-t-butylation of the cycloadduct.  相似文献

One of the most significant challenges facing the biomimetic synthesis of materials is achieving the requisite level of dimensional and spatial control. Typical reaction conditions for biomimetic silica synthesis allow for continued growth and ripening leading to the formation of larger nanospheres on the order of 200-600 nm in diameter. Herein, we have used polyamidoamine and polypropylenimine dendrimers as templates to expand the reaction conditions of biogenic silica production to produce a more robust synthesis leading to size-selective precipitation of silica nanospheres. Through the use of defined concentrations of phosphate buffer and main group metal chloride salts, we have shown that the biomimetic silica growth process is controlled by cationic neutralization of the anionic silica nanosphere surface. Neutralization minimizes electrostatic repulsions, allowing for agglomerization and continued growth of nanospheres. By controlling these concentrations, we can selectively produce silica nanospheres of desired dimensions between 30 and 300 nm without adversely affecting the template's activity.  相似文献

High costs and low catalytic efficiency of metalloporphyrins, which are an analogue of cytochrome P450 enzyme, are the bot-tlenecks in the industrialization of biomimetic hydrocarbon oxidation reactions. The basic principle and research technique of physical organic chemistry were applied to the process of biomimetic oxidation of hydrocarbon catalyzed by metalloporphyrins. This biomimetic technology could be adapted to bulk chemicals production by developing the new methods for efficient scale-up synthesis of metalloporphyrins, new pathways for molecular oxygen activation on an industrial scale and new approaches to elevate the catalytic efficiency of metalloporphyrins.
