In the framework of the spectral integral equation, we consider the states and their radiative transitions. We reconstruct the interaction on the basis of data for the levels of the bottomonium states with J PC = 0−+, 1−−, 0++, 1++, 2++ as well as the data for the radiative transitions γ (3S) → γχbJ(2P) and γ(2S) → γχbJ(1P) with J = 0, 1, 2. We calculate bottomonium levels with the radial quantum numbers n ≤ 6, their wave functions, and corresponding radiative transitions. The ratios Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(2S)]/Br[χbJ(2P) → γγ(1S)] for J = 0, 1, 2 are found to be in agreement with data. We determine the component of the photon wave function using the data for the e + e annihilation, e + e → γ(9460), γ(10 023), γ(10 036), γ(10 580), γ(10 865), γ(11 019), and predict partial widths of the two-photon decays ηb0 → γγ, χb0 → γγ, χb2 → γγ for the radial excitation states below the threshold (n ≤ 3). On the Buchdahl Inequality for Spherically Symmetric Static Shells   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
A classical result by Buchdahl [6] shows that for static solutions of the spherically symmetric Einstein equations, the ADM mass M and the area radius R of the boundary of the body, obey the inequality 2M/R ≤ 8/9. The proof of this inequality rests on the hypotheses that the energy density is non-increasing outwards and that the pressure is isotropic. In this work neither of Buchdahl’s hypotheses are assumed. We consider non-isotropic spherically symmetric shells, supported in [R 0, R 1], R 0 > 0, of matter models for which the energy density ρ ≥ 0, and the radial- and tangential pressures p ≥ 0 and q, satisfy p + q ≤ Ωρ, Ω ≥ 1. We show a Buchdahl type inequality for shells which are thin; given an there is a κ > 0 such that 2M/R 1 ≤ 1 − κ when . It is also shown that for a sequence of solutions such that R 1/R 0 → 1, the limit supremum of 2M/R 1 of the sequence is bounded by ((2Ω + 1)2 − 1)/(2Ω + 1)2. In particular if Ω = 1, which is the case for Vlasov matter, the bound is 8/9. The latter result is motivated by numerical simulations [3] which indicate that for non-isotropic shells of Vlasov matter 2M/R 1 ≤ 8/9, and moreover, that the value 8/9 is approached for shells with R 1/R 0 → 1. In [1] a sequence of shells of Vlasov matter is constructed with the properties that R 1/R 0 → 1, and that 2M/R 1 equals 8/9 in the limit. We emphasize that in the present paper no field equations for the matter are used, whereas in [1] the Vlasov equation is important.  相似文献

The self-consistent solutions of the nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau equations, which describe the behavior of a superconducting mesoscopic cylinder in an axial magnetic field H (provided there are no vortices inside the cylinder), are studied. Different, vortex-free states (M-, e-, d-, p-), which exist in a superconducting cylinder, are described. The critical fields (H 1, H 2, H p , H i , H r ), at which the first or second order phase transitions between different states of the cylinder occur, are found as functions of the cylinder radius R and the GL-parameter . The boundary , which divides the regions of the first and second order (s, n)-transitions in the icreasing field, is found. It is found that at R→∞ the critical value, is . The hysteresis phenomena, which appear when the cylinder passes from the normal to superconducting state in the decreasing field, are described. The connection between the self-consistent results and the linearized theory is discussed. It is shown that in the limiting case and R ≫ λ (λ is the London penetration length) the self-consistent solution (which correponds to the socalled metastable p-state) coincides with the analitic solution found from the degenerate Bogomolnyi equations. The reason for the existence of two critical GL-parameters and in, bulk superconductors is discussed. An erratum to this article is available at.  相似文献

LetM be a differentiable manifold modeled on a Banach space overK=R or C. LetT k(M) be thekth iterated tangential extension ofM, and letk M be thekth Bowman (=restricted tangential) extension ofM. It is shown that there is an embedding ϕk:k →T k(M), and that such embeddings constitute a natural transformation of functors. LetQ be a subset/submanifold inT k(M), and letV:Q→T(Q) be a differentiable vector field. CallV k-suitable if everyK-curveg inQ satisfyingg′=V° g has the formg=f [k], wheref [k] denotes thekth iterated differential lift of aK-curvef inM. It is shown thatV isk-suitable if and only if: (a) , where is a subset/submanifold ink M, and (b) , where isk-suitable relative to restricted tangentialK-curve liftsf (k). Interpretive consequences for motion problems are discussed.  相似文献

The overlap between the ground-state wave functions of a one-dimensional electron gas with the Hamiltonians Ĥ 0 and , where is the impurity potential, is calculated. It is shown that in the limit of an infinite potential the overlap vanishes as M −1/8 as M→∞, where M is the number of filled levels, while in the case of a weak potential this overlap differs little from 1. A relation is found between the magnitude of the overlap and the behavior of the density of states near the Fermi energy (statistics of the levels). The possibility of linearization of the spectrum and the possibility of performing a bosonization procedure are discussed in light of the results obtained. Pis'ma Zh. éksp. Teor. A dynamics of low-energy nuclear forces is investigated for low-energy electromagnetic and weak nuclear reactions with the deuteron in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model of light nuclei by example of the neutron-proton radiative capture (M1-capture) n + p → D + γ, the photomagnetic disintegration of the deuteron γ + D → n + p and weak reactions of astrophysical interest. These are the solar proton burning p + p → D + e+ + ν e, the pep-process p + e + p → D + ν e and the neutrino and antineutrino disintegration of the deuteron caused by charged ν e + D → e + p + p, + D → e+ + n + n and neutral ν e() + D → ν e() + n + p weak currents.  相似文献

We show that the connection responsible for any Abelian or non-Abelian Aharonov–Bohm effect with n parallel “magnetic” flux lines in ℝ3, lies in a trivial G-principal bundle PM, i.e. P is isomorphic to the product M×G, where G is any path connected topological group; in particular a connected Lie group. We also show that two other bundles are involved: the universal covering space , where path integrals are computed, and the associated bundle P× G m M, where the wave function and its covariant derivative are sections.  相似文献

The investigation of the spin structure of d, 3H, and 3He has been performed at the RIKEN acceleration research facility and VBLHE. Vector A y and tensor A yy , A xx , A xz analyzing powers for d3Hen and d3Hp are presented at 270 MeV. Themirror channels (3Hen and 3Hp) are comparedto each other in order to find possible manifestation of charge-symmetry breaking. The preliminary results on the polarization observables for d3Hp at 200MeV are also presented. The obtained data are compared with one-nucleon-exchange calculations. As a byproduct, dpX and 12C → pX breakup reactions are investigated at 140, 200, and 270MeV. The experimental data on p elastic scattering were obtained at 270, 880, and 2000 MeV at the Nuclotron. The polarization of the deuteron beam was measured at 270 MeV at the internal target station. The preliminary data on the vector A y and tensor A yy , A xx analyzing powers for the p elastic scattering at 880 MeV are presented. The calculations on A y , A yy , and A xx analyzing powers for the p elastic scattering at 880 MeV were performed in the framework of the multiple-scattering model. We study a reaction-diffusion system of N equations with k nonzero and Nk zero diffusion coefficients. More exactly, the first k equations of the system contain the terms a i Δu i f j (u, v), i = 1, …, k, with the diffusion coefficient a i > 0. The right-hand sides of the other Nk equations contain only nonlinear interaction functions −h j (u, v), j = k + 1, …, N, with zero diffusion. Here u = (u 1, …, u k ) and v = (υ k+1, …, υ N ) are unknown concentration vectors. Under appropriate assumptions on the interaction functions f(·) and h(·), we construct the trajectory attractor of this reaction-diffusion system. We also find the trajectory attractors , δ = (δ 1, …, δ k ), for the analogous reaction-diffusion systems having the terms δ j Δυ j h j (u, v), j = k + 1, …, N, with small diffusion coefficients δ j ⩾ 0 in the last Nk equations. We prove that the trajectory attractors converge to (in an appropriate topology) as δ → 0+. We have performed laser spectroscpy of metastable antiprotonic helium atoms (or “atomcules”) ( He+) and have observed a density dependence of the resonance vacuum wavelengths for the known transitions (n,l)=(39,35)→(38,34) and (37,34)→(36,33). They showed linear red-shifts of 0.61±0.01 GHz and 0.22±0.02 GHz per 1 g℞, respectively. With the shift parameters above, the transition vacuum wavelengths were extrapolated to zero-density limits, yielding λ0 = 597.2570± 0.0003 nm and λ0 = 470.7220±0.0006 nm, respectively. These values were compared with the result of recent theoretical calculations on the energy of the Coulombic three-body system, including relativistic corrections and the Lamb shift. The agreements between our experimental values and the calculations have become as good as 2×10-6. This sets a severe constraint on the antiproton charge ( ) and mass ( ) with |Q p - |/e < 5 × 10-7 and |M p - |/M p < 5 × 10-7, under a more precisely known constraint on the charge-to-mass ratio. Thus we have opened a new possibility of measuring fundamental constants of the antiproton. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

We consider near-threshold a 0(980)-meson production in πN and NN collisions. An effective Lagrangian approach with one-pion exchange is applied to analyze different contributions to the cross section for different isospin channels. The Reggeon exchange mechanism is also evaluated for comparison. The results from πN reactions are used to calculate the contribution of the a 0 meson to the cross sections and invariant mass distributions of the reactions and ppppK + K . It is found that the experimental observation of a 0 + mesons in the reaction is much more promising than the observation of a 0 0 mesons in the reaction ppppK + K . Effects of isospin violation in the reactions pNda 0, pd3He(3H)a 0, and dd4Hea 0, which are induced by a 0(980)-f 0(980) mixing, are also analyzed. Processes of the form pp → anything → XiXj → + + notE are studied via a technique that may be viewed as an adaptation of time-honoured Dalitz plot analyses. Xi and Xj are new heavy states (with i, j =1, . . .,n), which may be identical or distinct; and and are necessarily distinct standard model (SM) fermion pairs whose invariant masses can be measured. A Dalitz-like plot of said invariant masses, versus , exhibits a topology connected to the masses and specific decay chains of Xi and Xj. Aside from relatively minor details, observed patterns consist of a collection of box and wedge shapes. This collection is model-dependent: comparison of the observed pattern to the possibilities for a specific model yields information on which new particle pair combinations are actually being produced, information beyond that extractable from conventional one-dimensional invariant mass distributions. The technique is illustrated via application to the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) process pp → → e+e- + μ+μ- notE. Here the heavy states are neutralinos (i = 2,3,4) - note that is excluded - which are produced in gluino/squark ( / ) cascade decay chains. Even with fairly modest expectations for the LHC performance during the first few years, this method still provides substantial insight into the neutralino mass spectrum and couplings if gluino/squark masses are relatively low (≃ 400 GeV). We consider site percolation on Z d, directed edges going from any sZ d to s+A 1,..., s+A n, where A 1,..., A n are the same for all sites and at least two of them are noncollinear. A site is closed if it belongs to p+Block, where p is a point in a Poisson distribution in R dZ d with a density and Block={sL: |s|M}+{sR d: |s|}, where L is a linear subspace of R d, |·| is the Euclidean norm, =max(|A 1|,..., |A n|) and M is a parameter. We study the behavior of *, the critical value, and P closed*, corresponding critical percentage of closed sites, when M. Denote R d/L the factor space. Call two nonzero vectors U, V codirected if U=kV, where k>0. Theorem. If there are A i and A j whose projections to R d/L are not codirected, then *1/M dim(L) and P closed* remains separated both from 0 and 1 when M. If projections of all A 1,..., A n to R d/L are codirected, then *1/M dim(L)+1 and P closed*1/M when M.  相似文献

The littlest Higgs (LH) model predicts the existence of the doubly charged scalars , which generally have large flavor changing couplings to leptons. We calculate the contributions of Φ±± to the lepton flavor violating (LFV) processes li→ljγ and li→ljlklk, and we compare our numerical results with the current experimental upper limits on these processes. We find that some of these processes can give severe constraints on the coupling constant Yij and the mass parameter MΦ. Taking into account the constraints on these free parameters, we further discuss the possible lepton flavor violating signals of at high energy linear e+e- collider (ILC) experiments. Our numerical results show that the possible signals of might be detected via the subprocesses e±e±→l±l± in future ILC experiments.  相似文献

On the basis of the decay couplings f 0ππ, K , ηη, ηη′ found earlier in the study of analytical (IJ PC =00++) amplitude in the mass range 450–1900 MeV, we analyze the quark-gluonium content of the resonances f 0(980), f 0(1300), f 0(1500), and f 0(1750) and the broad state f 0(1420 −70 +150 ). The K-matrix technique used in the analysis makes it possible to evaluate the quark-gluonium content both for the states with switched-off decay channels (bare states, f 0 bare ) and for the real resonances. We observe a significant change in the quark-gluonium composition in the evolution from bare states to real resonances, which is due to the mixing of states in the transitions f 0(m 1) → real mesons → f 0 (m 2) responsible for the decay processes as well. For f 0(980), the analysis confirmed the dominance of q component, thus proving the n /s composition found in the study of the radiative decays. For the mesons f 0(1300), f 0(1500), and f 0(1750), the hadronic decays do not allow one to determine uniquely the n , s , and gluonium components, providing relative percentage only. The analysis shows that the broad state f 0(1420 −70 +150 ) can mix with the flavor singlet q component only, which is consistent with gluonium origin of the broad resonance. A method for determining the angle γ and the ratio of the amplitudes A λ(B K *−) and A λ)B D *0 K *−), r , for all three vector-meson polarization states by using the decays B D * K *∓ is proposed. This method relies on the interference between the decays B D *0 K *− and B K *−, which arises if D *0 and decay to D 0/ π 0 and D 0/ γ, whereupon D 0 and mesons decay to common final hadron states. The doubly Cabibbo-suppressed modes of D 0-meson decay are chosen here to specify such final states. Original Russian Text ? V.A. We discuss a possible interpretation of the f 0(980)-meson as a hadronic molecule —a bound state of K and mesons. Using a phenomenological Lagrangian approach we calculate the strong f 0(980) → ππ and electromagnetic f 0(980) → γγ decays. The compositeness condition provides a self-consistent method to determine the coupling constant between f 0 and its constituents, K and . Form factors governing the decays of the f 0(980) are calculated by evaluating the kaon loop integrals. The predicted f 0(980) → ππ and f 0(980) → γγ decay widths are in good agreement with available data and results of other theoretical approaches.  相似文献

We show that the non-relativistic quantum mechanicaln-body HamiltoniansT(k)=T+kV andT, the free particle Hamiltonian, are unitarily equivalent in the center of mass system, i.e.,T(k)=W ± (k)TW ± (k) –1 fork sufficiently small and real. , a sum ofn(n–1)/2 real pair potentials,V i, depending on the relative coordinatex i R 3 of the pairi, whereV i is required to behave like |xi|– 2 – as |x i | and like |xi|– 2 + as |x i |0.T(k) is the self-adjoint operator associated with the form sumT+kV. There are no smoothness requirements imposed on theV i . Furthermore are the wave operators of time dependent scattering theory and are unitary. This result gives a quantitative form of the intuitive argument based on the Heisenberg uncertainty principle that a certain minimum potential well depth and range is needed before a bound state can be formed. This is the best possible long range behavior in the sense that ifkV i C i |x i |b , 0<b2 for |x i |>R i (0<R i <) and allC i are negative thenT(k) has discrete eigenvalues andW ±(k) are not unitary.  相似文献

The sudden approximation in energy is used to derive analytic formulas that describe the anomalous light-induced drift (LID) of linear molecules absorbing radiation in the rovibrational transition nJ i mJ f (n and m are the ground and excited vibrational states, and J α is the rotational quantum number in the vibrational state α=m, n). It is shown that for all linear molecules with moderate values B≲1 cm−1 of the rotational constant, anomalous LID can always by observed under the proper experimental conditions; temperature T, rotational quantum number J i , and type of transition (P or R). The parameter γ=B[J i (J i +1)−J f (J f +1)] ν n /2k BT (ν m ν n ) is used to derive a condition for observing anomalous LID: γ∼1 (k B is the Boltzmann constant and ν α is the transport rate of collisions of molecules in the vibrational state α and buffer particles at moderate molecular velocities , where is the most probable velocity of the buffer particles). For ν m >ν n anomalous LID can be observed only in P-transitions, while for ν m <ν n it can be observed only in R-transitions. It is shown that anomalous LID is possible for all ratios β=M b /M of the masses of the buffer particles (M b ) and of the resonant particles (M) and any absorption-line broadening (Doppler or homogeneous). The optimum conditions for observing anomalous LID are realized when the absorption line is Doppler-broadened in an atmosphere of medium-weight (β∼1) and heavy (β≫1) buffer particles. In this case, anomalous LID can be observed in the same transition within a broad temperature interval ΔTT. If the buffer particles are light (β≪1) or if the broadening of the absorption line is homogeneous, anomalous LID in the same transition can be observed only within a narrow temperature range ΔTT.
