The main idea of the method is to eliminate physically the influence of errors of glass sample plane surfaces on the wavefront transmitting through the sample. This makes it possible to reveal the “pure” optical inhomogeneity of the material independently of the errors of flat surfaces of a glass sample made in the form of a plane-parallel plate or a wedge of the small refractive angle. A basic optical layout of the laser interferometer explaining the capabilities of the practical application of the method is presented.  相似文献

The atmospheric aerosol absorption capacity is a critical parameter determining its direct and indirect effects on cli- mate. Accurate measurement is highly desired for the study of the radiative budget of the Earth. A multi-wavelength (405 rim, 532 nm, 780 nm) aerosol absorption meter based on photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) invovling a single cylin- drical acoustic resonator is developed for measuring the aerosol optical absorption coefficients (OACs). A sensitivity of 1.3 Mm-l (at 532 nm) is demonstrated. The aerosol absorption meter is successfully tested through measuring the OACs of atmospheric nigrosin and ambient aerosols in the suburbs of Hefei city. The absorption cross section and absorption Angstrom exponent (AAE) for ambient aerosol are determined for characterizing the component of the ambient aerosol.  相似文献

In this paper, a formula for accurate calculation of the absorption coefficient of optical material is deduced by the relationship of its transmissivity, refractive index and absorption coefficient. Because the values of transmissivity and refractive index of the optical material with a higher accuracy can be determined by the instruments or obtained directly from the references, the calculated results of the absorption coefficients with a higher accuracy is certified. The absorption coefficients of some optical materials are calculated with it, and the results are discussed.  相似文献

Pulsed photoacoustic measurements have been carried out in toluene at 532 nm wavelength using a Q-switched frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser. The variation of photoacoustic signal amplitude with incident laser power indicates that at lower laser powers one photon absorption takes place at this wavelength while a clear two photon absorption occurs in this liquid at higher laser powers. The studies made here demonstrate that pulsed photoacoustic technique is simple and effective for the investigation of multiphoton processes in liquids.  相似文献

Optical absorption provides essential biological functional information but cannot be sensed by mainstream optical microscopy technologies directly, which detect fluorescence or scattering and may require undesirable labeling. Here we developed in vivo subwavelength-resolution photoacoustic microscopy (SW-PAM) that provides exquisitely high optical-absorption contrast due to nonfluorescent, or fluorescent, endogenous pigments. Having approached the ultimate diffraction-limited optical resolution, SW-PAM can resolve subcellular organelles. Vasculature and early-stage melanoma were imaged with 12:1 and 17:1 contrasts, respectively, without labeling. SW-PAM along with the scaled-up macroscopy, as the only technology that measures the same contrast origin over such a wide length scale, can potentially accelerate translation from microscopic research to clinical practice.  相似文献

Polymethylmethacrylate-graft-polybisphenol-A-carbonate (PMMA-G-PC) with 50% grafting is synthesized. The graft co-polymerization of methylmethacrylate (0.036 mol · lit-1) onto polybisphenol-A-carbonate (0.5 g) in the presence of a redox couple formed from potassium persulphate (40 mol · lit-1) and thio-urea (30 mmol · lit-1) in aqueous nitric acid (0.18 M, 100 ml) in air at (45±2)°C for 3.0 h. Condensation of (PMMA-G-PC) with N- [p-(carboxyl phenyl amino acetic acid)] hydrazide (PCPH) affords polybisphenol-A-carbonate-graft-polymethylmethacrylate hydrazide (PCGH). The photoacoustic (PA) spectra of (PCGH) are recorded in a wavelength range from 200 nm to 800 nm at a modulation frequency of 22 Hz, and compared with those of pure polybisphenol-A-carbonate (PC), (PMMA-G-PC) and (PCPH). In the present work, a non-destructive and non-contact analytical method, namely the photoacoustic technique, is successfully implemented for optical and thermal characterization of selected polymeric materials. The indigenous PA spectrometer used in the present study consists of a 300-W xenon arc lamp, a lock-in amplifier, a chopper, a (1/8)-m monochromator controlled by computer and a home-made PA cell.  相似文献

We make an extensive investigation of linear, third-order nonlinear, and total optical absorption coefficients (ACs) of impurity doped quantum dots (QDs) in presence and absence of noise. The noise invoked in the present study is a Gaussian white noise. The quantum dot is doped with repulsive Gaussian impurity. Noise has been introduced to the system additively and multiplicatively. A perpendicular magnetic field acts as a source of confinement and a static external electric field has been applied. The AC profiles have been studied as a function of incident photon energy when several important parameters such as optical intensity, electric field strength, magnetic field strength, confinement energy, dopant location, relaxation time, Al concentration, dopant potential, and noise strength take on different values. In addition, the role of mode of application of noise (additive/multiplicative) on the AC profiles has also been analyzed meticulously. The AC profiles often consist of a number of interesting observations such as one photon resonance enhancement, shift of AC peak position, variation of AC peak intensity, and bleaching of AC peak. However, presence of noise alters the features of AC profiles and leads to some interesting manifestations. Multiplicative noise brings about more complexity in the AC profiles than its additive counterpart. The observations indeed illuminate several useful aspects in the study of linear and nonlinear optical properties of doped QD systems, specially in presence of noise. The findings are expected to be quite relevant from a technological perspective.  相似文献

鉴于飞秒激光脉冲持续时间极短且峰值功率极高,将其紧聚焦到透明介质体内部时,易引发双光子效应、碰撞电离、雪崩击穿等一系列非线性过程,在焦点处产生微爆,从而形成微腔结构。提出采用25fs的激光脉冲在透明介质内部诱导形成微腔结构。分析了微腔的能量阈值。结合三维精密位移台,制备了三维微腔点阵。探讨了超短激光脉冲在透明介质内部形成微腔结构的方法与基本实验参数。试验发现:采用更短脉宽的飞秒脉冲时可以降低微腔形成的能量阈值;通过调整飞秒激光功率、脉冲作用次数和光束聚焦情况等因素,可以有效改变微腔的纵深比;在数值孔径较低时因无法实现紧聚焦,故不能形成微腔。  相似文献

Based on the Rosencwaig and Gersho theory, we have theoretically derived the photoacoustic signal in the gaz behind the unilluminated surface of thick samples and presented a simple analytical procedure for determining the low optical absorption spectra of these samples.The rear side photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) detection has been employed on thick samples of GaP (0,2-1mm) and optical absorption coefficients in the region between 15 to 200 cm?1 were measured.Our results are discussed in comparison with those obtained by usual front side PAS detection and spectroscopic ellipsometry.  相似文献

Differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) is useful for various types of trace gas measurements in the lower troposphere. In this paper, we report the DOAS measurement conducted in Chiba, Japan during 2009 and 2010. An optical path length of 5.5 km is employed to measure the average concentration of NO2 using a xenon aviation obstruction light that flashes every 1.5 s. By virtue of the high stability of the light source intensity, the intensity measurement enables the retrieval of aerosol extinction coefficient averaged over the optical path. The results are compared with the concurrent results of ground sampling and sunphotometer measurements.  相似文献

Summary To use mode tunable lasers it is necessary to measure the laser frequency and the mode emission. This problem is very important when waveguide lasers are used. Normally this information is obtained by a heterodyne technique, but there are some difficulties to perform this method in a large electrical noise environment, when pulsed or radiofrequency lasers are used. We have obtained this laser information by using an alternative low-cost optical system. With this apparatus we have measured the cavity pulling and roughly estimated an upper limit for the linewidth of a radiofrequency, high pressure, line and mode-tunable, CO2 laser.
Riassunto Nell'impiego di lasers accordabili in modo è necessario misurare la frequenza. Normalmente questa misura è derivata da tecniche eterodina, ma ci sono grosse difficoltà in presenza di un grosso rumore elettromagnetico di fondo, come quando viene usata una eccitazione a radiofrequenza. Le stesse informazioni possono essere ottenute con metodi ottici; per esempio con questa tecnica noi abbiamo misurato lo spostamento di cavità e la larghezza di banda di un laser ad alta pressione a CO2 alimentato a RF accordabile 500 MHz in modo.

Резюме Для использования настроенных лазеров необходимы измерения частоты и моды излучения. Зта проблема является очень важнои, когда используются волноводные лазеры. Обычно зта информция получается с помощью гетеродинной техники, но возникает ряд трудностей при применении этого метода из-за высокого злектрического шума скружающей среды, когда используются импульсные или радиочастотные лазеры. Мы предлагаем получать зту информацию о лазерах, используя альтернативную оптич ческую систему с низкой стоимостью. С помощью этой аппаратуры мы измеряем резонатор и грубо оцениваем верхний предел длины волны радиочастотного настроенного CO2 лазера с высоким давлением.

建立了描述噪声起振和Stokes种子光辅助起振的SBS(受激布里渊散射)理论模型,利用变步长有限差分方法数值求解了一维瞬态后向SBS耦合波方程组,得到了抽运光和散射光光强以及介质密度变化量的时空分布;研究了Stokes激光场对SBS反射率以及发生阈值的影响,发现Stokes种子光的存在大大减短了SBS过程的起振时间,并且在抽运光脉冲宽度固定的情况下使SBS的发生阈值大幅度降低;最后,探讨了瞬态受激布里渊过程对光学材料破坏的可能性并对今后的工作进行了展望. 关键词: 光学透明材料 受激布里渊散射 斯托克斯种子光 反射率  相似文献
