验证了一种基于光纤Fizeau干涉仪的声发射传感器,可用于固体表面传播的超声波的检测.这种传感器的特点是能够精确地检测由固体表面传播的超声波产生的微弱振动.当超声波信号通过光纤传感器到达探测器时,干涉仪的输出光强度受到了超声信号的调制.通过检测干涉仪的输出光强度并利用Fourier变换,测得了超声信号的振幅和频率.对传感系统的相位调制特性进行了仿真,并对实验结果进行了分析.  相似文献

A high powered Q-switched Nd:YAG laser was used to excite the surface waves, and an optical fiber sensor was used to detect the out-of-plane displacements due to the propagating waves. This sensor is based on the fiber optic Sagnac interferometer, which has the path-matched configuration and does not require active stabilization. Quadrature phase bias between two interfering laser beams in the Sagnac loop is applied by controlling the birefringence in an optical path using a fiber polarization controller. A stable quadrature phase bias can be confirmed by observing the interferometer output according to the change of phase bias. Additional signal processing is not needed for the detection of ultrasonic waves using the Sagnac interferometer. The performance of the fiber optic Sagnac interferometer was investigated, and laser-generated surface wave signals were detected using this fiber optic sensor. The developed fiber optic sensor configured in this study is very simple and is effective for non-contact detection of ultrasonic waves.  相似文献

A fiber-optic interferometer is proposed and demonstrated experimentally for ultrasonic detection. The sensor consists of a compact Michelson interferometer (MI), which is fixed in a tilted-tube end-face (45°). Thin gold films are used for the reflective coatings of two arms and one of the interference arms is etched serving as the sensing arm. The spectral sideband filter technique is used to interrogate the continuous and pulse ultrasonic signals (with frequency of 300 KHz). Furthermore, because of the asymmetrical structure of the sensor, it presents strong direction-dependent ultrasonic sensitivity, such that the sensor can be considered a vector detector. The experimental results show that the sensor is highly sensitive to ultrasonic signals, and thus it can be a candidate for ultrasonic imaging of seismic physical models.  相似文献

为完成快速、精确的外观轮廓度量,设计了一种新型纳米级精度分光路双频干涉度量系统。系统由低频差双频激光干涉度量模块和微探头及二维工作台两部分组成。微探针以轻敲式接近样品至几十纳米时,受原子力作用发生偏转,利用双频干涉模块度量其纵向偏转量,并对样品进行梳状式度量得到外观形貌。根据双频激光的实际光源,对原有双频干涉度量理论进行了改进提高。进行了系统组建和实验验证。结果表明:系统具有纳米级精度,可用于超精样品外观轮廓度量。  相似文献

 基于传统速度干涉仪(VISAR)和光纤速度干涉仪(AFVISAR)的特点,提出了一种由光纤和光纤耦合器组成的工作波长为532 nm的新型全光纤速度干涉仪(NAFVISAR)。该干涉仪采用多模光纤器件构成分离系统,单模光纤器件组成核心部分。由于有两路携带不同信息的光束经不同路径传输到耦合器中,当这两路光束满足干涉条件时,可利用它们的干涉场信息来调解出被测靶的信息,从而区分波面的加减速变化。用该系统进行了Hopkinson森杆一维应力加载下的入射杆端面的速度剖面测试,实测速度最大值为49.36 m/s,与理论速度的最大值50.16 m/s基本符合,实现了全光纤速度干涉仪的实用化。  相似文献

Conclusions A new type of optical filter element has been described and tested, offering an alternative frequency response to that of a Fabry-Perot or Michelson interferometer. It is quite compact, mechanically stable, and suitable for cryogenic operation. Use of this device is planned as a sideband filter in a 15 element imaging array receiver for 90–115 GHz.  相似文献

传统的工业超声成像方法通常只能确定缺陷的位置与横向尺寸,无法获得缺陷的形貌信息.一些特殊的缺陷,如纵向裂纹,是典型的例子.基于多阵元技术,开展了固体介质缺陷逆时偏移超声成像方法的数值与实验研究.针对铝块平底纵裂纹及内部纵裂纹两种传统方法无法有效成像的缺陷,首先开展了单分量逆时偏移成像方法研究,给出了基于数值仿真的逆时偏移成像结果以及基于多阵元超声成像实验系统实验测试的逆时偏移成像结果.进一步开展了基于多分量位移检测与转换横波分离的逆时偏移成像方法研究,并提出了基于新型多分量激光干涉仪进行检测的思路.数值仿真结果证实了多分量逆时偏移图像重建结果可以克服单分量方式的缺点,得到明显优于单分量检测时的图像.  相似文献

用钛内扩散技术和常规光刻手段,研制出1.5μmLiNbO3电光波导强度调制器。它由单模波导非对称Mach-Zehnder干涉仪和三电极共平面波导组成。干涉仪的两个臂长相差波导波长的四分之一,使器件在最佳线性点工作,无需外加电偏压。集总调制和行波调制的理论带宽分别为1GHz和7.8GHz。对于集总器件,测量了调制特性,半波电压为9.5V,调制带宽为0.7GHz。  相似文献

We demonstrate novel modulation-free frequency locking of a diode laser, utilizing a simple Sagnac interferometer to create an error signal from saturated-absorption spectroscopy. The interference condition at the output of the Sagnac is strongly affected by the sharp dispersion feature near an atomic resonance. Slight misalignment of the interferometer and subsequent spatially selective, or tilt, detection allows this phase change to be converted into an error signal. Tilt locking has significant advantages over previously described methods, as it requires only a small number of low-cost optical components and a detector. In addition, the system has the potential to be constructed as a plug-and-play fiber-coupled monolithic device to provide submegahertz stability for lasers in the commercial market.  相似文献

An optical detection setup consisting of a focused laser beam fed into a downstream Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) for demodulation of acoustically generated optical phase variations is investigated for its applicability in photoacoustic tomography. The device measures the time derivative of acoustic signals integrated along the beam. Compared to a setup where the detection beam is part of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, the signal-to-noise ratio of the FPI is lower, but the image quality of the two devices is similar. Using the FPI in a photoacoustic tomograph allows scanning the probe beam around the imaging object without moving the latter.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of nanosized zinc oxide and its nanofluid in a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix have been done in the present investigation. Crystalline zinc oxide nanoparticles are synthesized using single-step chemical method while the nanofluids are prepared by the dispersion of nanoparticles in PVA solution using an ultrasonicator. The prepared nanoparticles are characterized using X-ray diffraction, SEM?CEDX and UV?Cvisible spectrum. The particle size distribution measurement is carried out by acoustic particle sizer. The ultrasonic velocities are measured in the synthesized nanofluid under different physical conditions using an ultrasonic interferometer. It is found that the degree of crystallinity of nanoparticles depends on the evaporation rate during its synthesis and ultrasonic velocity has non-linear relation with temperature for the present nanofluid.  相似文献

The detection of drilling-induced delamination in composite components is a vital and challenging task in aviation industry. Numerous key components of aircrafts are made of composite materials, and drilling is often a final operation during assembly. Drilling-induced delamination is a very serious defect that significantly reduces the structural reliability, but it is rather difficult to be detected effectively due to its special location. A novel application of laser ultrasonic technique for the detection of drilling-induced delamination in composites is presented in this paper. A carbon fiber reinforced plastic laminate with drilling holes was made as specimen. A laser ultrasonic system was constructed and experiments were performed to detect the drilling-induced delamination, based on propagation characteristic of ultrasonic waves generated by pulse laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm and pulse duration of 10 ns. A laser interferometer based on two wave mixing is used to measure ultrasonic wave signals, and the morphology features of the delamination are imaged clearly by laser ultrasonic C-scan testing. The results proved that the laser ultrasonic technique is a feasible and effective method for the detection of drilling-induced delamination in composite components.  相似文献

根据时域移相算法的概念,提出了一种空间移相术,它能够检测因外界振动导致条纹抖动而引起的干涉图样的空间相位变化.运用这种技术在TwymanGreen移相式干涉仪中建立了一套自适应抗振系统,它可以实时测量振动引起的相位变化大小,并通过反馈器件PZT实时校正干涉条纹的相位,使得干涉条纹稳定以保证光学测量的正常进行,与此同时PZT还作为移相器件.  相似文献

针对乌氏干涉仪条纹信号调整难、用肉眼读数难等问题,提出将He-Ne激光作为乌氏干涉仪光源的设计,得到了高质量的干涉条纹信号,并采用光电转换方法将条纹移动信号转变为电信号实现了微位移的高精度测量。设计了光电信号检测电路,利用双门限整形电路标定出整形方波,克服了干涉信号在设定比较值附近抖动引起误处理的缺点;提出了辨向细分电路,在1路干涉条纹信号下,提取了具有正交性的2路电子信号,实现了干涉条纹的移动辨向与信号细分。按此方案设计并搭建了一套激光干涉检测实验装置,用2个计量差值为5μm的标准量块,对激光干涉检测装置进行了标定,在电路为4细分的情况下,该装置测量分辨率达79 nm;解决了乌氏干涉仪自动读数的问题,提高了乌氏干涉仪的测量精度和准确性。  相似文献

This paper describes a fiber optic sensor suitable for remote sensing and multi-point detection of ultrasound. This ultrasound sensor is based on the surface-bonded fiber optic Sagnac interferometer with the output fringe visibility of 1; it consists of a laser source, an ordinary single mode fiber delay line, a fiber coupler, a phase modulator and polarization controllers. For the validation of the sensor, surface acoustic waves and Lamb waves are excited by illuminating a steel specimen with an array of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser-generated line sources and the measurement of laser-generated ultrasonic waves are performed on the specimen surface using the surface-mounting fiber optic Sagnac sensor. The surface-bonded fiber optic sensor developed in this study has a simple configuration for detection of ultrasonic waves. Effectiveness of surface-bonded fiber optic Sagnac sensors for remote sensing of ultrasound and in situ monitoring of structures is investigated. The capability of multi-point detection of ultrasound by this Sagnac sensor is also discussed.  相似文献

We study a scheme for Mach-Zehnder(MZ) interferometer as a quantum linear device by injecting two-mode squeezed input states into two ports of interferometer.Two-mode squeezed states can be changed into two types of inputs for MZ interferometer:two squeezed states and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen(EPR) entangled states.The interference patterns of the MZ interferometer vary periodically as the relative phase of the two arms of the interferometer is scanned,and are measured by the balanced homodyne detection system.Our experiments show that there are different interference patterns and periodicity of the output quantum states for two cases which depend on the relative phase of input optical fields.Since MZ interferometer can be used to realize some quantum operations,this work will have the important applications in quantum information and metrology.  相似文献
