Electrochemical methods have been increasingly gaining popularity in the field of wastewater treatment. However, the performance of these methods can be highly affected by the polarity direction as determined by the electrodes arrangement (anode to cathode or cathode to anode); as well as the characteristics of the wastewater to be treated as determined by the type of wastewater. The presented research work investigated the relationship between polarity direction and the removal of pollutants from poultry slaughterhouse wastewater using titanium and aluminium electrode materials. In the first case, the wastewater was exposed to the Ti (anode)-Al (cathode) combination, whereas in the second case the wastewater was subjected to the Al (anode)-Ti (cathode) arrangement. The two cases were designed to see if the polarity direction of the chosen electrode materials affected the removal of pollutants. The removal efficiencies were computed as a ratio of the remaining concentration in the treated effluent to the concentration before treatment. It was observed that the production processes generate highly fluctuating wastewater in terms of pollution loading; for instance, 422 to 5340 Pt-Co (minimum to maximum) were recorded from color, 126 to 2264 mg/L were recorded from total dissolved solids, and 358 to 5998 mg/L from chemical oxygen demand. Also, the research results after 40 min of retention time showed that both electrode arrangements achieved relatively high removal efficiencies; Whereby, the aluminium to titanium polarity achieved up to 100% removal efficiency from turbidity while the titanium to aluminium polarity achieved a maximum of 99.95% removal efficiency from turbidty. Also, a similar phenomenon was observed from total dissolved solids; whereby, on average 0 mg/L was achieved when the wastewater was purified using the aluminium to titanium arrangement, while on average 2 mg/L was achieved from the titanium to aluminium arrangement. A little higher removal efficiency discrepancy was observed from ammonia; whereby, the aluminium to titanium arrangement outperformed the titanium to aluminium arrangement with average removal efficiencies of 82.27% and 64.11%, respectively.  相似文献

在前文研究天然Stilbite沸石(CXN沸石)水热稳定性影响因素的基础上, 以27Al与29Si MAS NMR, NH3-TPD和低温氮吸附等详细研究了铵型CXN沸石骨架铝配位状态和硅配位状态, 表面酸性与孔性质等与水蒸汽处理温度的关系. 随温度升高, 沸石骨架硅铝比逐渐提高, 并伴随硅羟基缺陷增多. 经750 ℃水蒸汽处理3 h后沸石骨架硅铝比可达到21.3. 沸石总酸量随水蒸汽处理温度的提高而降低, 沸石骨架铝脱除造成沸石孔道部分被堵塞, 但同时形成有利于分子扩散的介孔.  相似文献

Groundwater is one of the main sources of water for irrigation used worldwide. However, the application of the resource is threatened by the possibility of high saline levels, especially in low-lying coastal regions. Furthermore, the lack of readily accessible materials for successful treatment procedures makes the purification of such water a constant challenge. Based on the fact that natural zeolite is one of the easily accessible and relatively cheap filter materials, this study examined the potential use of high-salinity groundwater filtered by natural zeolite for irrigation. Zeolite-filled filters at two different depths (0.5 m and 1 m) were studied. The samples were collected from the low-lying areas of Dar es Salaam City, Tanzania. The study observed that when the raw groundwater samples were exposed to the 0.5 m column depth, sodium (Na+) had the lowest removal efficiency at 40.2% and calcium (Ca2+) had the highest removal efficiency at 98.9%. On the other hand, magnesium (Mg2+) had the lowest removal efficiency, at about 61.2%, whereas potassium (K+) had up to about 99.7% removal efficiency from the 1 m column depth treatment system. Additionally, from the salinity hazard potential analysis, most of the samples fell within C4 (based on the electrical conductivity), which is a “very high salinity” class, and based on the quality it means the water cannot be directly applied for irrigation purposes. From the 0.5 m column depth, most of the samples fell within C3 (the “high salinity” class), and from the 1 m column depth most of the samples fell within C1 (“low salinity” class). The findings of this study offer some valuable insight into the prospective use of natural zeolite for the filtration of saline groundwater before its application for irrigation.  相似文献

Drinking water is the essential medium for food production, and is also needed for direct consumption; while it must be free of harmful substances, it also must have a composition that is beneficial to health. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of water and wastewater treatment on reducing the concentrations of zinc (Zn), nickel (Ni), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), lead (Pb), and arsenic (As) in the Western Pomerania Voivodeship in Poland. The research was carried out in 2017–2019. The analysis was performed with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrophotometry (ICP-AES). The concentrations of trace elements in drinking water were below maximum acceptable concentrations (MACs). Reductions in the most dangerous elements during water treatment fluctuated from 48.5% (As) to 97% (Pb). Wastewater treatment reduced the concentrations of analyzed elements by a range of 28.6 to 60.8%, and the most toxic elements (Pb and As) by over 50%. Trace element concentrations in treated wastewater were below MAC values, and ranged from 1.15% (Pb) to 6.23% (As) of MACs for toxic elements. The concentrations of both essential elements (Zn, Ni, Fe, Mn, Cu) and toxic elements (Pb, As) in drinking water were below the MACs. Water treatment had a significant (p < 0.05) effect on decreasing trace element concentrations.  相似文献

用常见无机和有机絮凝剂处理了聚驱污水,分别考察了絮凝剂单剂和复配处理后聚驱污水中残余部分水解聚丙烯酰胺(HPAM)质量浓度和透光率随絮凝剂剂量的变化.结果表明:采用无机絮凝剂处理聚驱污水时,残余HPAM质量浓度随絮凝剂剂量增加先减小后增大;采用有机絮凝剂处理聚驱污水时,残余HPAM质量浓度随絮凝剂剂量增加而线性增加.将无机絮凝剂与无机絮凝剂复配使用,则残余HPAM质量浓度与透光率成反比;将无机絮凝剂与有机絮凝剂复配使用,则残余HPAM质量浓度取决于复配体系中阳离子聚丙烯酰胺(CPAM)的添加量.  相似文献

Ozone has been successfully employed in water treatment due to its ability to oxidize a wide variety of refractory compounds. In order to increase the process efficiency and optimize its economy, the implementation of heterogeneous catalysts has been encouraged. In this context, the use of cheap and widely available natural materials is a promising option that would promote the utilization of ozone in a cost-effective water treatment process. This review describes the use of natural clays, zeolites and oxides as supports or active catalysts in the ozonation process, with emphasis on the structural characteristics and modifications performed in the raw natural materials; the catalytic oxidation mechanism; effect of the operating parameters and degradation efficiency outcomes. According to the information compiled, more research in realistic scenarios is needed (i.e., real wastewater matrix or continuous operation in pilot scale) in order to transfer this technology to the treatment of real wastewater streams.  相似文献

以天然CXN沸石为基底材料, 通过离子交换、焙烧和酸处理等方法研究了影响该沸石水热稳定性的因素. XRD, XRF和27Al MAS NMR等结果表明阳离子种类和位置均会影响沸石水热稳定性, 其中铵型CXN沸石的水热稳定性最高. 高温焙烧铵型CXN沸石虽能提高骨架硅铝比, 但骨架缺陷增多导致其水热稳定性下降. 还研究了水蒸汽量、处理温度和时间对沸石骨架结构变化的影响, 结果表明提高温度和水蒸汽量均会降低沸石结晶度, 但处理时间则对结晶度的影响较小.  相似文献

 采用水蒸气和碱性氨水蒸气在500℃下对纳米HZSM-5沸石催化剂进行了水热处理改性,并用XRD,IR,NH3-TPD和XRF对催化剂进行了表征.以降低FCC汽油(≤70℃馏分)烯烃含量为探针反应,考察了不同水热处理介质对催化剂酸性质和催化性能的影响.结果表明,经不同介质水热处理后,纳米HZSM-5沸石中约10%的Al2O3被脱除,总酸量降低,导致积炭失活的强酸中心明显减少;不同水热处理介质对催化剂的总酸量没有明显影响,而对酸中心类型分布的影响较大.水热处理改性使催化剂活性的稳定性明显改善,初始活性降低.同时,水热处理改性降低了催化剂对芳构化反应的催化活性,提高了对异构化反应的催化活性.采用氨水(0.5mol/L)蒸气处理的纳米HZSM-5催化剂其降烯烃催化活性更为稳定.在给定的反应条件下,FCC汽油的烯烃含量(φ)由65.9%降低到约26%,产物中烯烃、芳烃(主要是C7~C9芳烃)和烷烃含量分别保持在25%,19%和55%左右,辛烷值基本不变.  相似文献

分别用Na2H2EDTA、H4EDTA和Hcl对SDY型沸石的非骨架铝进行了浸取处理,并应用化学分析、XRD、高真空苯吸附、低温N2吸附、NH3-TPD和正庚烷裂解脉冲微型反应等物理和化学实验技术对浸取前后样品的结构、酸性和催化性能进行了研究。发现Na2H2EDTA能选择地浸取沉积于沸石微孔和二次孔中的非骨架铝碎片,且不损伤沸石骨架,浸取出部分非骨架铝后的样品,其正庚烷裂解和抗氮性能均有所提高。  相似文献

Catalytic properties of ZSM-5 zeolite samples pretreated with NaOH solution have been investigated. The samples are characterized by XRD, SEM, chemical analysis, and N2 adsorption.The results indicate that mesopores are created in ZSM-5 crystals under alkali treatment without change the microporous structure and acidic strength of the zeolite, but the crystallinity is greatly decreased under severe treatment. IR indicates that the concentration of silanol is greatly enriched by alkali treatment. The etherification activities of ZSM-5 zeolites are greatly increased byalkali-treatment. The noticeably improved catalytic activity of treated samples is ascribed to the formation of mesopores and greatly enriched silanol group.  相似文献

Natural zeolite was first acid treated and then heat treated. The influences of acid and heat treatments on the structure and water vapor adsorption property of natural zeolite were investigated. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TG), and Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller (BET) surface areas were employed to investigate the structure changes of the zeolite samples. Water vapor adsorption property of the samples was investigated in order to determine wettability of the samples. The results showed that nitric acid treatment could remove Al from the structure, decrease relative crystallinity, and significantly increase specific surface area of the zeolite samples. Heat treatment could change or even destroy the structure, effectively remove water molecules from the surface/structure, and decrease the specific surface area of the zeolite samples. Water vapor adsorptions on the acid‐treated zeolite samples were significantly lower than that for the zeolite sample, and the adsorptions further reduced for the heat‐treated zeolite samples. The increase of Si/Al ratio, decreases of silanol groups, and specific surface area of the samples were major reasons related to the reductions of water vapor adsorptions on the zeolite samples.  相似文献

 以苯与丙烯的烷基化反应中试失活β沸石催化剂为研究对象,在水蒸气存在下进行烧炭再生,着重考察了温度对催化剂脱铝的影响,并揭示出脱铝影响催化剂的活性、酸性、晶体结构和孔结构特征.用滴定法及核磁共振法确定了新鲜催化剂和再生催化剂骨架的硅/铝比,并结合XRD表征阐明在高于450℃下烧炭再生时确有脱铝发生.控制再生温度可使催化剂性能基本得到恢复.寿命实验结果表明,含水蒸气再生后的样品与新鲜催化剂有相当的寿命,该方法可用于失活催化剂的再生.提出了水蒸气存在下能有效控制烧炭反应,从而抑制床层飞温的作用机理.  相似文献

 采用静态水热合成法,以六亚甲基亚胺为模板剂,在氧化锌存在下合成了MCM-22分子筛,考察了氧化锌对MCM-22晶化的影响. 结果表明,少量氧化锌的添加抑制了杂晶的生成,缩短了晶化诱导期,提高了晶化速度,扩大了硅铝比的范围,降低了模板剂的用量.  相似文献

The current wastewater treatment method shows low efficiency in treating wastewater with high concentrations of chemical mechanical pulp (CMP). Therefore, a chlorine dioxide Pretreatment Anaerobic Treatment (DPAT) was developed and applied to treat the CMP wastewater to obtain higher efficiency, obtaining the following results: The biodegradability of CMP wastewater improved after chlorine dioxide pretreatment. The COD of wastewater treated with chlorine dioxide was reduced from 5634 mg/L to 660 mg/L. The removal rate for chemical oxygen demand (COD) was 88.29%, 29.13% higher than the common anaerobic treatment. The reasons for the high efficiency of the DPAT treatment were that chlorine dioxide pretreatment removed the toxic substances in the original wastewater and thereby promoted the proliferation and growth of the anaerobe. The results show that pretreatment with chlorine dioxide can effectively enhance the biodegradability of high-concentration CMP wastewater. Therefore, DPAT treatment of high-concentration CMP wastewater is beneficial to environmental protection.  相似文献

考察了 "水热处理"以及"碱处理+水热处理"两种方法所制得的超稳 Y 分子筛的骨架硅铝比、孔结构特征以及酸量, 并探讨了"碱处理+水热处理"方法对起始 NaY 分子筛的适应性. 结果表明, 在水热处理前, 对 NaY 分子筛进行碱处理脱硅可在不改变最终样品的骨架超稳化水平和酸量的同时, 样品的介孔体积显著增加. 直接水热处理 NaY 分子筛所得样品介孔体积不超过 0.14 cm3/g, 而先碱处理后水热处理, 所得样品介孔体积可达 0.22 cm3/g. 该法适用于制备骨架硅铝比高的 NaY 分子筛. 起始原料的骨架硅铝比较低时, 所得样品的介孔体积增幅小, 而且微孔受损严重.  相似文献

以正硅酸乙酯为硅源, 四丙基氢氧化铵(TPAOH)为模板剂和碱源, 采取水热晶化技术, 通过原位法在硅晶片表面制备出纯二氧化硅透明分子筛薄膜; 采用紫外光解法代替传统高温焙烧法脱除分子筛薄膜孔道内的模板剂, 制备出具有低介电常数的氧化硅分子筛薄膜. 使用FTIR、XRD和SEM对样品进行了结构表征, 并采用阻抗分析仪测量了薄膜的介电常数, 纳米硬度计测量薄膜的杨氏模量和硬度. 与传统的高温焙烧方法相比, 紫外光解法处理条件温和, 同时省时、省能、操作简易.  相似文献

The literature on the treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater over the period 1990–2015 has been reviewed to develop a sustainable treatment strategy. Analysis of the existing methods for treatment and disposal practices of pharmaceutical waste has been undertaken on the classification of the treatment methods under well-identified broad specific groups. The review reveals the associated merits and demerits of the traditional and the emerging methods and the challenges involved in overcoming the shortcomings. Considering the very diverse nature of the contaminants and the poor success rates of the existing technologies, it transpires that no single classical technology is capable of fully taking care of the hazards emanating from pharmaceutical waste discharges. On the other hand, some recent technologies such as membrane-integrated hybrid technologies are emerging as more successful ones than the conventional technologies. But, scale up confidence with respect to such new technologies is still very limited and needs to be substantially improved through extensive investigation on the pilot scale using real pharmaceutical wastewater rather than synthetic wastewater. This review directs the research focus to the development of sustainable treatment technologies.  相似文献

 采用HNO3溶液对HZSM-5分子筛进行预处理,并以处理后的分子筛为载体制备了Mo/HZSM-5 催化剂. 结果表明,改性的Mo/HZSM-5催化剂在甲烷无氧脱氢芳构化反应中表现出很好的稳定性,显著地抑制了积炭物种在催化剂表面的形成. SEM,XRD和1H MAS NMR等表征结果表明,酸处理在一定程度上降低了HZSM-5分子筛的结晶度,使部分Al物种脱离骨架结构,迁移到骨架外形成新的表面Al羟基,从而使HZSM-5分子筛上B酸中心的数目明显减少. 未经改性的Mo/HZSM-5催化剂表面,平均每个晶胞中有1.12个B酸位,而改性的Mo/HZSM-5催化剂表面,平均每个晶胞中仅有0.88个B酸位. 这表明过多的酸性位存留在催化剂上会引起积炭的生成,降低催化剂的稳定性.  相似文献

研究了商用竹炭和改性竹炭对含铅废水的吸附处理的实验条件及效果。结果表明,对一定质量浓度及一定量含铅废水处理时,只要条件和吸附剂竹炭的投放量合适,铅的去除率均可达99.9%以上。以我国饮用水卫生标准中铅含量≤0.05mg/L为标准,根据废水中铅的含量,给出了吸附处理所需吸附剂投料量的估算方法和实验验证结果,为竹炭在含铅废水处理中的应用提供理论依据。  相似文献
