Presented hereafter is a novel method entailing solvent free microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and HPLC equipped with Fluorimetric Detector (HPLC-FD) for the simultaneous determination at μgkg(-1) concentration of eight fluoroquinolone antibiotics (FQs) (Ciprofloxacin, Danofloxacin, Enrofloxacin, Flerofloxacin, Levofloxacin, Marbofloxacin, Norfloxacin and Orbifloxacin) in agricultural soils. The extraction was quantitatively performed, in a single step, by using an aqueous solution containing Mg(II) as complexing agent, thus avoiding consumption of organic solvents. The optimal MAE conditions have been established through a chemometric approach by considering temperature, irradiation time and matrix moisture or solvent, as the most important recognized variables affecting the extraction yield. Satisfying recoveries (69-110%, spikes 0.03-0.5mgkg(-1)) were gained with a single MAE cycle of 20min, at 80°C in 20% (w/v) Mg(NO(3))(2) solution as leaching agent. MAE-SPE recoveries at 10μgkg(-1), concentration near method quantification limits (MQLs), were in the range 60-85%. Good repeatability and within-lab reproducibility were observed (both in the range 1-16%). The applicability of the method to real samples was assessed on natural contaminated soils. Compared to ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE), MAE was shown to be highly competitive in terms of extraction efficacy and analysis speed.  相似文献

This work describes an optimised method for the determination of six representative organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) (diazinon, parathion, methyl pirimiphos, methyl parathion, ethoprophos, and fenitrothion) in agricultural soils. The method is based on microwave-assisted extraction using a water-methanol modified mixture for desorption and simultaneous partitioning on n-hexane (MAEP), together with gas chromatography-flame photometric detection (GC-FPD). To improve GC-FPD signals (peak intensity and shape) olive oil was used effectively as a "matrix mimic". The optimisation of the extraction method was achieved in two steps: an initial approach through experimental design and principal component analysis where recovery of compounds using a water-methanol mixture ranged from 54 to 77%, and the second one by studying the addition of KH2PO4 to the extracting solution where recoveries were significantly increased, molecular replacing of OPPs from adsorption sites by phosphate being the probable extraction mechanism. Under optimised conditions, recoveries of pesticides from different soils were higher than 73%, except for methyl parathion in some soils, with SD equal or lower than 11% and detection limits ranging from 0.004 to 0.012 microg g(-1). The proposed method was used to determine OPPs in soil samples from different agricultural zones of Chile.  相似文献

A simple and efficient automated method for extraction and preconcentration of some organophosphorus and organochlorine pesticides from drinking and agriculture waters has been developed. In this work, a pyrrole-based polymer was synthesized and applied as an efficient sorbent for micro-solid-phase extraction (mu-SPE). Polypyrrole (PPY) was synthesized by chemical oxidation of the monomer in nonaqueous solution. The mu-SPE of selected pesticides, from aqueous samples was performed using 20mg of PPY. After extraction, analytes were desorbed in ethyl acetate and analyzed using gas chromatography-flame ionization detection. The acid-base and other physico-chemical interactions with the analytes facilitated the adsorption of analytes, with good selectivity and reproducibility. Under the optimized extraction conditions, the method showed good linearity in the range of 0.001-0.3 microg ml(-1) of water sample (phosphate buffer 1.0 x 10(-3) M, pH 8.5), RSD=1.5-4.2% (n=4), and limits of detection 200-600 pg ml(-1). Each mu-SPE cartridge could be used for up to 20 extractions.  相似文献

Optimisation of microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) for the extraction of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from soil samples has been accomplished using an experimental design approach. Variables studied have been: percentage of acetone (v/v) in an acetone:n-hexane mixture, solvent volume, extraction time, microwave power and pressure inside the extraction vessel. Five samples of a certified soil (CRM 481) have been extracted under the optimum conditions of the developed method and the results have been compared to those obtained by Soxhlet extraction. Good recoveries (>95%) have been obtained for all the PCBs studied. All extracts have been analysed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and an optimum determination method for the electron impact mass spectrometric (EIMS) has also been developed.  相似文献

Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) for the separation of atrazine, simazine and prometryne from synthetic soil samples, using water and some organic solvents as the extractants, was studied in detail. The effects of the soil matrix, the soil moisture and the pH of the aqueous extraction system on the MAE efficiency were also studied. It was found that the three triazines could be efficiently extracted under the conditions of 100% magnetron power output (600 W), the first grade of pressure (from 0.1 MPa to 0.5 MPa), 30 ml solvent and 4 min microwave heating with water or organic solvents, except for prometryne with dichloromethane solvent for 1-4 g sandy loam sample. This interesting result was explained by triazines' solubility in water, their sorption properties in soils and the ability of the solvent to absorb microwave energy. Finally, evaluation of the extraction efficiency, as well as the treatment and determination of MAE extracts, suggested that water, as a cheap, safe and environmentally friendly solvent, can be a good alternative to organic solvents, used as the extractants for MAE of triazines from soils.  相似文献

The extraction of two pyrethroid insecticides (deltamethrin and α-cypermethrin) together with three organophosphorus insecticides (dimethoate, diazinon and malathion) from soil samples was carried out with microwave-assisted technology. Experimental designs showed that extraction temperature, addition of water to the extractant and solvent/soil ratio were the variables that affected the recoveries of the pesticide the most. Response surface methodology was applied to find the optimum values of the variables involved in the extractions of the analytes. In addition, in order to achieve near-optimal extraction conditions, a desirability function was used to optimize the five pesticides simultaneously. The optimized conditions were applied to different types of soils.  相似文献

A simple and rapid extraction procedure was developed for determining aldehydes in rainwater samples. This extraction technique involved the use of micro-solid-phase extraction in which the sorbent was held within a polypropylene membrane envelope, followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis. Aldehydes such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde and valeraldehyde were used as model compounds. Extraction conditions were optimized. The method linearity ranged between 0.5 and 50 μg l−1 with the correlation coefficient of 0.987–0.999. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) of the method ranged from 7 to 12%. Method detection limits were in the range of 0.07–0.15 μg l−1, which is lower than those previously reported for solid-phase microextraction combined with gas chromatography–mass spectrometric techniques. The proposed extraction technique was used for determination of aldehydes in rainwater samples to demonstrate the applicability of the method.  相似文献

A new gallium (Ga(III)) ion-imprinted multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) composite sorbent was synthesized by a surface imprinting technique. The Ga(III) ion-imprinted/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (Ga(III)-imprinted/CNTs) sorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption experiment, static adsorption experiment, and solid-phase extraction (SPE) experiment. The effects of sample volume, sample pH, washing and elution conditions on the extraction of Ga(III) ion from real sample were studied in detail. The imprinted sorbent offered a fast kinetics for the adsorption of Ga(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted sorbent towards was 58.8 μmol g−1. The largest selectivity coefficient for Ga(III) in the presence of Al(III) was over 57.3. Compared with non-imprinted sorbent, the imprinted sorbent showed good imprinting effect for Ga(III) ion, the imprinting factor (α) was 2.6, the selectivity factor (β) was 2.4 and 2.9 for Al(III) and Zn(II), respectively. The developed imprinted SPE method was applied successfully to the detection of trace Ga(III) ion in fly ash samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A fast microwave-assisted dansylation procedure has been developed for the derivatization of N-nitrosamines prior to high-performance liquid chromatography determination. N-Nitrosomorpholine, N-nitrosodimethylamine, N-nitrosodiethylamine, N-nitrosopyrrolidine and N-nitrosopiperidine are first denitrosated by hydrobromic acid-acetic acid to produce secondary amines, which are then quantitatively dansylated in 5 min using radiation power of 378 W and a maximum pressure of 1.4 bar inside the reactor. The reaction mixture is separated on a C18 column with acetonitrile-water (55:45, v/v) as mobile phase with fluorimetric detection at 531 nm (excitation at 339 nm). The detection limits range from 8 to 75 pg for N-nitrosomorpholine and N-nitrosodiethylamine, respectively. The method was applied to study the recoveries of N-nitrosamines in beer and their determination in cigarette smoke.  相似文献

In this work, sol-gel reaction chemistry was utilized to create 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate-poly (propylene glycol) polymer coating on amorphous silica. The synthesized sorbent was characterized using energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The sorbent was then used for membrane protected stir-bar supported micro-solid-phase extraction (SB-µ-SPE) of chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHCs) in milk samples and analyzed using gas chromatography mass spectrometry. Sorbent suitability, sorbent quantity, solvent for desorption, solvent volume, time for extraction, time for desorption, and ionic strength were all optimized for extraction. This method resulted in a wide linear range for all tested CHCs with an r2 up to 0.9992. The lower limits of detection ranged between 0.2 and 2.8 ng mL?1. Reproducibility of the method was also determined at three different concentrations ranging between 3.8 and 7.3%. The relative recoveries in milk samples were found to be between 85.1 and 104.3%.  相似文献

A rapid technique based on dynamic microwave-assisted extraction (DMAE) coupled on-line with solid-phase extraction (SPE) was developed for the determination of sulfonamides (SAs) including sulfadiazine, sulfameter, sulfamonomethoxine and sulfaquinoxaline in soil. The SAs were first extracted with acetonitrile under the action of microwave energy, and then directly introduced into the SPE column which was packed with neutral alumina for preconcentration of analytes and clean-up of sample matrix. Subsequently, the SAs trapped on the alumina were eluted with 0.3% acetic acid aqueous solution and determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The DMAE parameters were optimized by the Box-Behnken design. Maximum extraction efficiency was achieved using 320 W of microwave power; 12 mL of extraction solvent and 0.8 mL min−1 of extraction solvent flow rate. The limits of detection and quantification obtained are in the range of 1.4-4.8 ng g−1 and 4.6-16.0 ng g−1 for the SAs, respectively. The mean values of relative standard deviation of intra- and inter-day ranging from 2.7% to 5.3% and from 5.6% to 6.7% are obtained, respectively. The recoveries of SAs obtained by analyzing four spiked soil samples at three fortified levels (20 ng g−1, 100 ng g−1 and 500 ng g−1) were from 82.6 ± 6.0% to 93.7 ± 5.5%. The effect of standing time of spiked soil sample on the SAs recoveries was examined. The recoveries of SAs decreased from (86.3-101.9)% to (37.6-47.5)% when the standing time changed from one day to four weeks.  相似文献

A simple and fast analytical method was developed for the determination of benzimidazole fungicides (benomyl, carbendazim, thiabendazole, and fuberidazole) in soil samples. The analytes were extracted from the soil samples by means of conventional microwave-assisted extraction, using the non-ionic surfactants polyoxyethylene 10 lauryl ether (POLE) and oligoethylene glycol monooalkyl ether (Genapol X-080) as extractants. Determinations were made by using liquid chromatography with direct fluorescence detection. The use of an analytical column Symmetry C-18 offered short retention times of analytes without the need of any pH regulators with mobile phase methanol-water (50 + 50, v/v). The best results were obtained using 5% (v/v) POLE as extractant with recoveries of the fungicides in spiked soil samples between 71 and 105%. The results were compared with those obtained when Soxhlet extraction was applied to the same soil samples.  相似文献

A simple, sensitive and accurate method was developed for solid-phase extraction and preconcentration of trace levels of gold in various samples. It is based on the adsorption of gold on modified oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes prior to its determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The type and volume of eluent solution, sample pH value, flow rates of sample and eluent, sorption capacity and breakthrough volume were optimized. Under these conditions, the method showed linearity in the range of 0.2–6.0 ng L−1 with coefficients of determination of >0.99 in the sample. The relative standard deviation for seven replicate determinations of gold (at a level of 0.6 ng L−1) is ±3.8 %, the detection limit is 31 pg L−1 (in the initial solution and at an S/N ratio of 3; for n = 8), and the enrichment factor is 200. The sorption capacity of the modified MWCNTs for gold(III) is 4.15 mg g−1. The procedure was successfully applied to the determination of gold in (spiked) water samples, human hair, human urine and standard reference material with recoveries ranging from 97.0 to 104.2 %.

A sorbent based on modified carbon nanotubes was prepared and used to extract gold ion from various samples prior to its determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry

The extraction and determination of chlorinated biphenyls (CBs) in soils and solid wastes is an ongoing subject of study. This is an overview article that compares the microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) techniques. The extraction of CBs by ASE has been optimised taking into account the variation of pressure, temperature and extraction time by means of experimental design and the Simplex approach. The recoveries obtained under the optimum conditions are compared and discussed with those obtained from MAE and Soxhlet extractions.  相似文献

Pressurised microwave-assisted extraction was used to extract a complex mixture containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), nitrated PAHs and heavy n-alkanes from a particularly refractory carbonaceous material resulting from the combustion in a diesel engine. A second-order central composite design was used to determine the optimal conditions of extraction in terms of time, temperature, volume and nature of extracting solvent from spiked diesel soots. To begin, methylene chloride, tetrahydrofuran and chloroform were tested for extracting the spiked diesel particulates; however, the nature of these solvents was not really an influential factor. Volume was the most influential factor and was kept at a medium level to enhance the extraction of heavy PAHs without introducing an important dilution factor. Temperature and time were not influential as main factors but interacted with the other factors. Finally, high temperature and duration associated with a medium volume of methylene chloride were better for the extractions. After this optimisation, five-ring and six-ring PAHs were nevertheless not satisfactorily desorbed. Other solvents were therefore tested. Only aromatic ones, and particularly heterocyclic aromatic solvents, managed to desorb the heaviest PAHs. Pyridine, with its both aromatic and its basic character, was the most successful solvent. Desorption was even complete with an addition of 17% of diethylamine into pyridine. So, using MAE, we succeeded in extracting quantitatively, from the spiked refractory diesel soot surface, two-ring to six-ring PAHs, heavy n-alkanes and short nitrated PAHs. However, heavy nitrated PAHs were better extracted with a small addition of acetic acid (1%) into pyridine instead of a basic cosolvent.  相似文献

Three different types of oxidation reactions were carried out under microwave (MW) conditions in dry media, with nearly quantitative yield, using ‘in situ’, yet separately generated molecular oxygen as the reactive gas. The latter is formed by a controlled decomposition of potassium chlorate (220-306 °C) adsorbed on zeolite support, and is used as a reactive oxidizing agent for the solid-supported oxidations. The MW-assisted oxidations include an oxidative decomplexation of (η6-arene)Cr(CO)3 complexes to the corresponding arenes using silica as solid support (100 °C), an oxidation of fluorene to fluorenone induced by KF-alumina support (150 °C), and oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde using a supported ruthenium catalyst (150 °C). This synthetic approach allows to carry out in synchronized manner two different solid-supported reactions (oxygen generation and oxidation) at different temperatures and on different solid supports together in the same sealed system. It was made possible by tuning the absorption efficiency of MWs through accurate selection of the solid supports employed in the reactions. The high feasibility of this novel synthetic approach resulted from a preliminary study of the interaction between MWs and mineral oxides such as alumina, silica, clay, and zeolite particularly when mixed with additives such as water, ionic liquids or graphite (5% w/w). The use of these MW absorber additives allows the MW transparent or poorly absorbing mineral oxides to be efficiently heated to very high temperatures in few minutes.  相似文献

A sonication method is compared with a microwave-assisted extraction method for recovering polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and aliphatic hydrocarbons from seaweed and acid humic samples. Different extracting solvents and adsorbents for the purification step are tested. For the sonication extraction, 10 g of the sample are extracted in an ultrasonic bath (60 degrees C for 15 min with 20 mL of hexane). For the microwave-assisted extraction two steps are carried out, each step at 90 degrees C under pressure in closed vessels with 20 mL of hexane for 10 min at 950 W. A clean-up step is performed for both extraction techniques. The results indicate that the recovery of hydrocarbons is dependent on both the extraction technique and the type of matrix. The most suitable technique appears to be sonication employing hexane as the extraction solvent. The recoveries obtained for aliphatic hydrocarbons are higher than those achieved for the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, with values ranging within 81-109% and 40-76%, respectively.  相似文献
