The relationship between a microscopic parameter p, that is related to the probability of choosing a mechanism of deposition, and the stochastic equation for the interface's evolution is studied for two different models. It is found that in one model, that is similar to ballistic deposition, the corresponding stochastic equation can be represented by a Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) equation where both λ and ν depend on p in the following way: ν(p) = νp and λ(p) = λp 3/2. Furthermore, in the other studied model, which is similar to random deposition with relaxation, the stochastic equation can be represented by an Edwards-Wilkinson (EW) equation where ν depends on p according to ν(p) = νp 2. It is expected that these results will help to find a framework for the development of stochastic equations starting from microscopic details of growth models. The relativistic theory of the inverse beta-decay of polarized neutron,ν e +n → > p +e -, in strong magnetic field is developed. For the proton wave function we use the exact solution of the Dirac equation in the magnetic filed that enables us to account exactly for effects of the proton momentum quantization in the magnetic field and also for the proton recoil motion. The effect of nucleons anomalous magnetic moments in strong magnetic fields is also discussed. We examine the cross-section for different energies and directions of propagation of the initial neutrino accounting for neutron polarization. It is shown that in the super-strong magnetic field the totally polarized neutron matter is transparent for neutrinos propagating antiparallel to the direction of polarization. The developed relativistic approach can be used for calculations of cross-sections of the other URCA processes in strong magnetic fields.  相似文献

We analyze the geometry of scaling limits of near-critical 2D percolation, i.e., for p = p c+λδ1/ν, with ν = 4/3, as the lattice spacing δ → 0. Our proposed framework extends previous analyses for p = p c, based on SLE 6. It combines the continuum nonsimple loop process describing the full scaling limit at criticality with a Poissonian process for marking double (touching) points of that (critical) loop process. The double points are exactly the continuum limits of “macroscopically pivotal” lattice sites and the marked ones are those that actually change state as λ varies. This structure is rich enough to yield a one-parameter family of near-critical loop processes and their associated connectivity probabilities as well as related processes describing, e.g., the scaling limit of 2D minimal spanning trees.  相似文献

For the non-Hermitian, PT-symmetric potentials V = m 2 x 2 + gx 2(ix)ν with ν = 1 and 2, we construct the Q operator which gives both the positive-definite metric and an equivalent Hermitian Hamiltonian h. For the case ν = 1, where the theory may be defined on the real axis, h is reasonable but complicated. For the case ν = 2, where the theory must initially be defined on a contour in the complex x plane, we first introduce a real parametrization of the contour, and then calculate Q and h as an expansion in an angle θ. Theresultant h has less desirable properties. However, Q is not uniquely determined, and it may be possible to exploit this ambiguity to produce a more acceptable equivalent Hamiltonian. We look at the confinement of tensor gluons (f μν (c) field) in a strong gravity background and find that the strong gravity provides a trap for the confinement of colour waves of selected frequencies. We assume that the tensorf μν (c) field (mediating quanta: tensor 2+ f-meson) satisfies Einstein-like equations with a cosmological constant. The colour field satisfy equations resembling Maxwell form of the linear theory of gravitation and see the effect off μν (c) field as playing the role of a medium having space dependent dielectric permeabilities. The solution of colour field equations resemble harmonic oscillator type wave functions with equispaced energy levels (no continuum) leading to confinement.  相似文献

We have investigated the proof of the H theorem within a manifestly covariant approach by considering the relativistic statistical theory developed in [G. Kaniadakis, Phys. Rev. E 66, 056125 (2002); G. Kaniadakis, Phys. Rev. E 72, 036108 (2005)]. As it happens in the nonrelativistic limit, the molecular chaos hypothesis is slightly extended within the Kaniadakis formalism. It is shown that the collisional equilibrium states (null entropy source term) are described by a κ power law generalization of the exponential Juttner distribution, e.g., , with θ=α(x)+βμpμ, where α(x) is a scalar, βμ is a four-vector, and pμ is the four-momentum. As a simple example, we calculate the relativistic κ power law for a dilute charged gas under the action of an electromagnetic field Fμν. All standard results are readly recovered in the particular limit κ→0.  相似文献

High-spin states in 187Pt were studied via the 173Yb(18O, 4n) reaction. Rotational bands based on the νi13/2, ν7/2[503], νi2 13/2νj, ν3/2[512] and ν1/2[521] configurations were observed, and interpreted within the framework of the cranked shell model. The TRS calculations show that the νi13/2 band has an appreciable negative γ deformation, and the negative-parity bands tend to have a near prolate shape with small positive γ values. Experimental values of B(M1)/B(E2) ratios have been extracted and compared with theoretical values from the semi-classical D?nau and Frauendof approach, strongly suggesting a low frequency πh9/2 alignment in the ν7/2[503] band. We compute the number level variance Σ 2 and the level compressibility χ from high precision data for the Anderson model of localization and show that they can be used in order to estimate the critical properties at the metal-insulator transition by means of finite-size scaling. With N, W, and L denoting, respectively, linear system size, disorder strength, and the average number of levels in units of the mean level spacing, we find that both χ(N, W) and the integrated Σ 2 obey finite-size scaling. The high precision data was obtained for an anisotropic three-dimensional Anderson model with disorder given by a box distribution of width W/2. We compute the critical exponent as ν≈ 1.45±0.12 and the critical disorder as W c≈ 8.59±0.05 in agreement with previous transfer-matrix studies in the anisotropic model. Furthermore, we find χ≈ 0.28±0.06 at the metal-insulator transition in very close agreement with previous results. A Laplacian may be defined on self-similar fractal domains in terms of a suitable self-similar Dirichlet form, enabling discussion of elliptic PDEs on such domains. In this context it is shown that that semilinear equations such as Δu+u p = 0, with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions, have non-trivial non-negative solutions if 0<ν≤ 2 and p>1, or if ν >2 and 1<p< (ν+ 2)/(ν− 2), where ν is the “intrinsic dimension” or “spectral dimension” of the system. Thus the intrinsic dimension takes the r\^{o}le of the Euclidean dimension in the classical case in determining critical exponents of semilinear problems. On the basis of elementary symmetry arguments it is shown that (1) if in classical mechanics there exists a quantity λ+Σiμiυi+1/2νυ 2 that is conserved, where λ,μ i, andν are particle parameters, then theμ i andν are all proportional to a single parameterμ and the quantityiBiμυi+C(λ+ 1/2Dμυ 2), whereDν/μ, is conserved for all values ofA, B i, andC; (2) if in relativistic mechanics there exists a quantity λ+Σiμiυi[1−(υ 2/c 2)]−1/2+νc[1−(υ 2/c 2)]−1/2 that is conserved, then theμ i andν are all proportional to a single parameterμ and the quantityAλ+ΣiBiμνi[1−(υ 2/c 2)]−1/2+Cμc [1−(υ 2/c 2)]−1/2 is conserved for all values ofA, B i, andC.  相似文献

Magnetoplastic effect in irradiated NaCl and LiF crystals   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The effect of low x-ray irradiation doses (≈102 rad) on the magnetoplastic effect — the detachment of dislocations from paramagnetic centers under the action of an external magnetic field B — in alkali-halide crystals has been investigated. The measurements were performed on LiF crystals and three types of NaCl crystals, differing in impurity content. The dependence of the mean free path l of the dislocations on the rotational frequency ν of a sample in a magnetic field was especially sensitive to low irradiation doses. In unirradiated crystals this dependence is a single-step dependence and is characterized by a critical frequency ν cB 2 above which the magnetoplastic effect is not observed. The frequency ν c depends only on the type of paramagnetic centers, and not on their density. Even the lowest irradiation dose employed (<100 rad) leads to a sharp restructuring of the dependence l(ν), converting it into a two-step dependence (for edge dislocations) with an additional critical frequency ν c2, that is insensitive to the irradiation dose, and that corresponds to the appearance of magnetically sensitive stoppers of a new type under irradiation. The initial critical frequency ν c1, as a rule, also varies with the dose, reflecting the change in state of the impurity complexes (Ca in NaCl and Mg in LiF). Specifically, it is shown for NaCl(Ca) crystals that as the irradiation dose increases, the frequency ν c1 increases, gradually approaching the value ν c2, so that by the time the dose is ≈300 rad, the dependence l(ν) once again becomes a single-step dependence, dropping sharply only for νν c2. It is shown that the addition of a small number of Ni atoms to a NaCl crystal makes the Ca complexes radiation resistant, and the critical frequency ν c1 corresponding to them initially equals ν c2 for crystals with no Ni. The recombination kinetics of radiation defects in the case in which the samples are irradiated under a tungsten lamp was investigated. A possible physical model of the observed dependences is discussed. Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 111, 615–626 (February 1997)  相似文献

Excited states in 188Tl have been studied experimentally using the 157Gd (35Cl, 4n) reaction at a beam energy of 170MeV. A rotational band built on the πh 9/2 ⊗ νi 13/2 configuration with oblate deformation has been established for 188Tl. Based on the structure systematics of the oblate πh 9/2 ⊗ νi 13/2 bands in the heavier odd-odd Tl nuclei, we have tentatively proposed spin values for the new band in 188Tl. The πh 9/2 ⊗ νi 13/2 oblate band in 188Tl shows low-spin signature inversion, and it can be interpreted qualitatively by the two-quasiparticle plus rotor model including a J-dependent p-n residual interaction.  相似文献

Magnetoresistivity ρ xx and ρ xy and the acoustoelectronic effects are measured in p-Si/SiGe/Si with an impurity concentration p = 1.99 × 1011 cm−2 in the temperature range 0.3–2.0 K and an tilted magnetic field up to 18 T. The dependence of the effective g factor on the angle of magnetic field tilt θ to the normal to the plane of a two-dimensional p-Si/SiGe/Si channel is determined. A first-order ferromagnet-paramagnet phase transition is observed in the magnetic fields corresponding to a filling factor ν = 2 at θ ≈ 59°–60°.  相似文献

We re-evaluate the non-perturbative contribution to the thrust distribution in e + e → hadrons, in the light of the latest experimental data and the recent NNLO perturbative calculation of this quantity. By extending the calculation to NNLO+NLL accuracy, we perform the most detailed study to date of the effects of non-perturbative physics on this observable. In particular, we investigate how well a model based on a low-scale QCD effective coupling can account for such effects. We find that the difference between the improved perturbative distribution and the experimental data is consistent with a 1/Q-dependent non-perturbative shift in the distribution, as predicted by the effective coupling model. Best fit values of α s (91.2 GeV)=0.1164−0.0026+0.0028 and α 0(2 GeV)=0.59±0.03 are obtained with χ 2/d.o.f.=1.09. This is consistent with NLO+NLL results but the quality of fit is improved. The agreement in α 0 is non-trivial because a part of the 1/Q-dependent contribution (the infrared renormalon) is included in the NNLO perturbative correction. We study the cosmic time evolution of an effective quantum field theory energy-momentum tensor T μν and show that, as a consequence of the effective nature of the theory, T μν is such that the vacuum energy decreases with time. We find that the zero point energy at present time is washed out by the cosmological evolution. The implications of this finding for the cosmological constant problem are investigated.  相似文献

We propose to study the infrared behaviour of polymerised (or tethered) random manifolds of dimension D interacting via an exclusion condition with a fixed impurity in d-dimensional Euclidean space in which the manifold is embedded. In this paper we take D=1, but modify the underlying free Gaussian covariance (thereby changing the canonical scaling dimension of the Gaussian random field) so as to simulate a polymerised manifold with fractional dimension . The canonical dimension of the coupling constant is , where −β/2 is the canonical scaling dimension of the Gaussian embedding field. β is held strictly positive and sufficiently small. For ɛ>0, sufficiently small, we prove for this model that the iterations of Wilson's renormalisation group transformations converge to a non-Gaussian fixed point. Although ɛ is small, our analysis is non-perturbative in ɛ. A similar model was studied earlier [CM] in the hierarchical approximation. Received: 7 January 1999 / Accepted: 20 August 1999  相似文献

The perturbed angular correlation (PAC) measurements with the 111In-111Cd nuclear probe embedded into the lattice of the cubic (C15) Laves compound ZrZn2 showed that 111Cd nuclei experienced an axially symmetric electric quadrupole interaction with a frequency ν Q  = 132.4 MHz at room temperature. The samples were synthesized and doped with the probe at a pressure 8 GPa. The temperature dependence of ν Q was shown to be linear: ν Q (T) = 147(1 − 0.033 T) MHz. Since the value of ν Q is very close to that known for 111Cd in the lattice of Zn, we have checked if it could be assigned to residual Zn metal in the sample. For the Zn sample melted and doped with 111In at 8 GPa we have obtained ν Q  = 117.3 MHz at 300 K and 127 MHz at 80 K – both values considerably lower than that for 111In doped Zn samples prepared at an ambient pressure. These data, and the fact that ν Q (T) in Zn is known to follow the T 3/2 law, allow to attribute the ν Q value quoted above to 111Cd nuclei at the substitutional sites with tetrahedral symmetry in the Zn sublattice of ZrZn2.  相似文献

We have obtained IR absorption spectra of a C2F6 gas and a C2F6 cryosolution in Xe (T = 163 K) in the fundamental and overtone ranges. We have interpreted 28 bands of 12C12CF6 and three bands of 13C12CF6. In the spectral ranges that correspond to vibrations that are combinations with ν1, ν7, and ν5, we observe multiplets, which we attribute to interactions of the type of Fermi resonances between the states ν1(A 1g ) ∼ ν6(A 1g ), ν7(E g ) ∼ ν6 + ν11(E g ) ∼ 2ν8(E g ), ν5(A 2u ) ∼ ν8 + ν 11(A 2u ). We reveal an anomalous intensity distribution in the spectrum of an asymmetric isotopologue. For the basic and isotopic configurations of perfluoroethane, we calculate the coefficients of shapes of vibrations and the intensities of absorption bands. We reveal that the behavior of the groups 12CF3 and 13CF3 is indifferent to the excitation of doubly degenerate stretching vibrations ν7(E g ) and ν10(Eu).  相似文献
