We investigate the Einstein field equations corresponding to the Weyl-Lewis-Papapetrou form for an axisymmetric rotating field by using the classical symmetry method. Using the invafiance group properties of the governing system of partial differential equations (PDEs) and admitting a Lie group of point transformations with commuting infinitesimal generators, we obtain exact solutions to the system of PDEs describing the Einstein field equations. Some appropriate canonical variables are characterized that transform the equations at hand to an equivalent system of ordinary differential equations and some physically important analytic solutions of field equations are constructed. Also, the class of axially symmetric solutions of Einstein field equations including the Papapetrou solution as a particular case has been found. 相似文献

A new nonlinear partial differential equation (PDE) in 2+1 dimensions is obtained from the mKP equation by means of an asymptotically exact reduction method based on Fourier expansion and spatio-temporal resealing. In order to demonstrate integrability property of the new equation, the corresponding Lax pair is obtained by applying the reduction technique to the Lax pair of the mKP equation. 相似文献

By employing the continuous parameter entangled state representations, we investigate the energy level and the wave function for a capacitively and mutual-inductively coupled LC mesoscopic circuit. It is found that investigating the meso- scopic circuit in such representations can bring us the following conveniences. Firstly, the dynamical equation is naturally transformed into a single-variable differential equation. Secondly, the center-of-mass kinetic energy is included in the energy level of the system. Thus it is instructive to introduce the entangled state representation into the investigation of mesoscopic circuits. 相似文献

The Myrzakulov-I equation is a 2+l-dimensional generalization of the Heisenberg ferromagnetic equa- tion and has a non-isospectral Lax pair. The ex- plicit solutions to the Myrzakulov-I equation have been discussed by many researchers. Darboux transformation is one of the useful methods to ob- tain explicit solutions to the nonlinear partial differ- ential equation.
