In this paper we study quantitative properties of non-negative (super) solutions for elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations of second order with strongly singular coefficients, in which we cannot expect Harnack's inequality in general. We show the doubling property ofu δ with some small exponent 1>δ>0 for non-negative weak supersolutionsu. Furthermore, we show the doubling property ofu q with large exponent 2(n+2)/nq>0 for non-negative weak solutionsu of parabolic equations.  相似文献

The (singular) orthogonal graph O(2ν + δ,q) over a field with q elements and of characteristic 2 (where ν 1, and δ = 0,1 or 2) is introduced. When ν = 1, O(2 · 1,q), O(2 · 1 + 1,q) and O(2 · 1 + 2,q) are complete graphs with 2, q + 1 and q2 + 1 vertices, respectively. When ν 2, O(2ν + δ,q) is strongly regular and its parameters are computed. O(2ν + 1,q) is isomorphic to the symplectic graph Sp(2ν,q). It is shown that a K-quasiminimizer u for the one-dimensional p-Dirichlet integral is a K′-quasiminimizer for the q-Dirichlet integral, 1  ≤  q  <  p 1(p, K), where p 1(p, K) > p; the exact value for p 1(p, K) is obtained. The inverse function of a non-constant u is also K′′-quasiminimizer for the s-Dirichlet integral and the range of the exponent s is specified. Connections between quasiminimizers, superminimizers and solutions to obstacle problems are studied.  相似文献

LetF q be a finite field withq elements, whereq is a power of an odd prime. In this paper, we assume that δ=0,1 or 2 and consider a projective spacePG(2ν+δ,F q ), partitioned into an affine spaceAG(2ν+δ,F q ) of dimension 2ν+δ and a hyperplane=PG(2ν+δ−1,F q ) of dimension 2ν+δ−1 at infinity. The points of the hyperplane are next partitioned into three subsets. A pair of pointsa andb of the affine space is defined to belong to classi if the line meets the subseti of ℋ. New concepts of fuzzy semi δ-V and fuzzy semi δ-Λ sets were introduced in our work “On fuzzy semi δ-Λ sets and fuzzy semi δ-V sets V-6,” J. Trip. Math. Soc., 6, 81–88 (2004). It was shown that the family of all fuzzy semi δ-V sets forms a fuzzy supra topological space on X denoted by (X, FS δV ). The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of fuzzy semi δ-V continuity in a fuzzy δ-V topological space. Finally, some properties, preservation theorems, etc., are studied. We consider the fundamental solution E (t,x,s;s 0) of the Cauchy problem for the one-speed linear Boltzman equation (∂/∂t+c(s,grad x)+γ)E(t,x,s;s 0)=γν∫ f((s, s′))E(t,x,s′; s0)ds′+Ωδ(t)δ(x)δ (s−s 0) that is assumed to be valid for any (t,x)∈Rn+1; morevoer, for t<0 the condition E(t,x,s; s0)=0 holds. By using the Fourier-laplace transform in space-time arguments, the problem reduces to the study of an integral equation in the variables. For 0<ν≤1, the uniqueness and existence of the solution of the original problem are proved for any fixeds in the space of tempered distributions with supports in the front space-time cone. If the scattering media are of isotropic type (f(.)=1), the solution of the integral equation is given in explicit form. In the approximation of “small mean-free paths,” various weak limits of the solution are obtained with the help of a Tauberian-type theorem, for distributions. Bibliography: 4 titles. A conformal map Φ on the unit disk is called a compact deformation of a Fuchsian groupG if Φ has a quasiconformal extension to the planeh which conjugatesG to a Kleinian group G′ and the dilatation ofh is compactly supported moduloG. In this article, we study the boundedness of pseudo-differential operators with symbols in S ρ,δ m on the modulation spaces M p,q . We discuss the order m for the boundedness Op(S ρ,δ m )⊂ℒ(M p,q ) to be true. We also prove the existence of a Calderón-Zygmund operator which is not bounded on the modulation space M p,q with q≠2. This unboundedness is still true even if we assume a generalized T(1) condition. These results are induced by the unboundedness of pseudo-differential operators on M p,q whose symbols are of the class S 1,δ 0 with 0<δ<1.   相似文献

Using the renormalization group method and the operator expansion in the Obukhov-Kraichnan model that describes the intermixing of a passive scalar admixture by a random Gaussian field of velocities with the correlator 〈v(t,x)v(t′,x)〉−〈v(t,x)v(t′,x′)〉∝δ(t−t′)|xx′|ε, we prove that the anomalous scaling in the inertial interval is caused by the presence of “dangerous” composite operators (powers of the local dissipation rate) whose negative critical dimensions determine the anomalous exponents. In this paper we study two boundary value problems for second order strongly nonlinear differential inclusions involving a maximal monotone term. The first is a vector problem with Dirichlet boundary conditions and a nonlinear differential operator of the form xa(x, x′)′. In this problem the maximal monotone term is required to be defined everywhere in the state space ℝN. The second problem is a scalar problem with periodic boundary conditions and a differential operator of the form x ↦ (a(x)x′)′. In this case the maximal monotone term need not be defined everywhere, incorporating into our framework differential variational inequalities. Using techniques from multivalued analysis and from nonlinear analysis, we prove the existence of solutions for both problems under convexity and nonconvexity conditions on the multivalued right-hand side.  相似文献

There is a well known principle in classical mechanic stating that a variational problem independent of a space variable w (so called cyclic variable), but dependent on the velocity w′ can be expressed without both w and w′. This is the Routh reduction principle. We develop a geometrical approach to the problem and deal with general first order variational integrals admitting a Lie symmetry group of point transformations. In the classical setting the Routh reduction is applied only to the symmetries that preserve the independent variable. In this article we remove such restriction.  相似文献

We deal with the problem of preserving various versions of completeness in (<κ)-support iterations of forcing notions, generalizing the case “S-complete proper is preserved by CS iterations for a stationary costationarySω 1”. Feynman’s path integrals in ordinary, p-adic and adelic quantum mechanics are considered. The corresponding probability amplitudes K(x″, t″; x′, t′) for two-dimensional systems with quadratic Lagrangians are evaluated analytically and obtained expressions are generalized to any finite-dimensional spaces. These general formulas are presented in the form which is invariant under interchange of the number fields ℝ ↔ ℚ p and ℚ ↔ ℚ p , pp′. According to this invariance we have that adelic path integral is a fundamental object in mathematical physics of quantum phenomena.  相似文献

We obtain new bounds on the parameters and we give new constructions of linear error-block codes. We obtain a Gilbert–Varshamov type construction. Using our bounds and constructions we obtain some infinite families of optimal linear error-block codes over . We also study the asymptotic of linear error-block codes. We define the real valued function α q,m,a (δ), which is an analog of the important real valued function α q (δ) in the asymptotic theory of classical linear error-correcting codes. We obtain both Gilbert–Varshamov and algebraic geometry type lower bounds on α q,m,a (δ). We compare these lower bounds in graphs.   相似文献
