Lie triple derivations on nest algebras

Let δ be a Lie triple derivation from a nest algebra ?? into an ??‐bimodule ??. We show that if ?? is a weak* closed operator algebra containing ?? then there are an element S ∈ ?? and a linear functional f on ?? such that δ (A) = SA – AS + f (A)I for all A ∈ ??, and if ?? is the ideal of all compact operators then there is a compact operator K such that δ (A) = KA – AK for all A ∈ ??. Nonlinear generalized Lie triple derivation on triangular algebras

Let ? be a commutative ring with identity and let 𝔄 = Tri(𝒜,?,?) be a triangular algebra consisting of unital algebras 𝒜,? over ? and an (𝒜,?)-bimodule ? which is faithful as a left 𝒜-module as well as a right ?-module. In this paper, we prove that under certain assumptions every nonlinear generalized Lie triple derivation G_L:𝔄→𝔄 is of the form G_L = δ+τ, where δ:𝔄→𝔄 is an additive generalized derivation on 𝔄 and τ is a mapping from 𝔄 into its center which annihilates all Lie triple products [[x,y],z].     

Characterization of Lie higher derivations on triangular algebras

Let $\mathcal{A}$ and $\mathcal{B}$ be unital rings, and $\mathcal{M}$ be an $\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ -bimodule, which is faithful as a left $\mathcal{A}$ -module and also as a right $\mathcal{B}$ -module. Let $\mathcal{U} = Tri\left( {\mathcal{A},\mathcal{M},\mathcal{B}} \right)$ be the triangular algebra. In this paper, we give some different characterizations of Lie higher derivations on $\mathcal{U}$ .     

Jordan higher derivable maps on triangular algebras by commutative zero products

In this paper, the structure of Jordan higher derivable maps on triangular algebras by commutative zero products is given. As an application, the form of Jordan higher derivable maps of nest algebras by commutative zero products is obtained.

Towers of derivation for Lie rings and some results on complete Lie rings

The well-known tower theorem of groups (resp. Lie algebras) shows that the tower of automorphism groups (resp. derivation algebras) of a finite group (resp. a finite dimensional Lie algebra) with trivial center terminates after finitely many steps. We generalize these results for Lie rings, and present some necessary and sufficient conditions for Lie rings to be complete.

Lie Higher Derivations on Nest Algebras

Let N be a nest on a Banach space X, and Alg N be the associated nest algebra. It is shown that if there exists a non-trivial element in N which is complemented in X, then D = （Ln）n∈N is a Lie higher derivation of AlgAl if and only if each Ln has the form Ln（A） ： Tn（A） ＋ hn（A）I for all A ∈ AlgN, where （Tn）n∈N is a higher derivation and （hn）n∈N is a sequence of additive functionals satisfying hn（[A,B]） = 0 for all A,B ∈ AlgN and all n ∈ N.     

Lie Triple Derivations on von Neumann Algebras

Let A be a von Neumann algebra with no central abelian projections. It is proved that if an additive map δ :A → A satisfies δ([[a, b], c]) = [[δ(a), b], c] + [[a, δ(b)], c] +[[a, b], δ(c)] for any a, b, c∈ A with ab = 0(resp. ab = P, where P is a fixed nontrivial projection in A), then there exist an additive derivation d from A into itself and an additive map f :A → ZA vanishing at every second commutator [[a, b], c] with ab = 0(resp.ab = P) such that δ(a) = d(a) + f(a) for any a∈ A.     

Nonlinear skew lie triple derivations between factors

Let A be a factor.For A,B∈A,define by [A,B]_*=AB-BA~* the skew Lie product of A and B.In this article,it is proved that a map Φ:A→A satisfies Φ([[A,B]_*,C]_*)=[[Φ(A),B]_*,C]_w+[[A,Φ(B)]_*,C]_*+[[A,B]_*,Φ(C)]_* for all A,B,C∈A if and only if Φ is an additive *-derivation.     

Non-abelian extensions of Lie 2-algebras

In this paper,we give the notion of derivations of Lie 2-algebras using explicit formulas,and construct the associated derivation Lie 3-algebra.We prove that isomorphism classes of non-abelian extensions of Lie 2-algebras are classified by equivalence classes of morphisms from a Lie 2-algebra to a derivation Lie 3-algebra.
