Reaction of picolinamide (pca) with potassium tricyanomethanide (tcm) and copper(II) perchlorate in 1-propanol gave [Cu(pca)2(tcm)2] (1a and 1b) while addition of 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine (2-ampy) provided [Cu(pca)(2-ampy)(tcm)](ClO4) (2). These compounds have been characterized by IR, powder X-ray diffraction, single crystal X-ray diffraction, combustion analysis, and temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility. Compound 1a crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c whereas 1b and 2 crystallized in the triclinic space group Pī. In 1a, the copper complexes stack alternately with semi-coordinated tcm ions creating layers, further stabilized by hydrogen bonding to neighboring layers. In 1b, the tcm ions are coordinated to complete the octahedral coordination sphere around the copper ions and form staggered layers parallel to the ab face diagonal. In 2, stacks of copper complexes form bilayers, held together by hydrogen bonding between tcm ions and amino groups, parallel to the a axis. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility data were collected on 1 and 2 from 1.8–310 K. The data were fit to the Curie–Weiss law which showed no significant magnetic exchange as expected based upon the crystal structures [1 ? Curie constant = 0.419(2) emu-K/mol-Oe, θ = ?0.10(6)°; 2 – Curie constant = 0.438(1) emu-K/mol-Oe, θ = 0.05(3)°].  相似文献

Abstract

A family of copper(II) compounds has been prepared with the general formula (2-chloro-3-fluoro-pyridine)2CuX2·n(Y), where X?=?Cl, Br, n?=?0,1, and Y?=?methanol or water. For the copper chloride complexes, only solvated structures were obtained (1, X?=?Cl, Y?=?H2O; 2, X?=?Cl, Y?=?CH3OH) while for the copper bromide compounds, both a desolvated structure and the methanol solvate were prepared (3, X?=?Br, Y?=?none; 4, X?=?Br, Y?=?CH3OH). Each compound has been characterized by IR, powder X-ray diffraction, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurement. Compounds 1 and 4 are isostructural, in the space group Cm, and neither exhibits significant magnetic exchange although superexchange pathways are present. Compound 2 also crystallizes in the Cm space group and exhibits weak ferromagnetic interactions (J/kB?=?1.72(2) K from the 1D-ferromagnetic chain model) which are likely propagated by hydrogen bonding. Compound 3 crystallizes in the space group P21/n with the Cu(II) ion sitting on a crystallographic inversion center. Compound 3 exhibits weak antiferromagnetic exchange via two-halide superexchange typical for similar complexes. The magnetic data for 3 were fit to the 1D-antiferromagnetic chain model resulting in J/kB?=??1.21(1).  相似文献

The reaction of CuX2 (X = Br or Cl) with 2-amino-3-chloro-5-trifluoromethylpyridine in aqueous acids (HX; X = Br or Cl) yields bis(2-amino-3-chloro-5-trifluoromethylpyridinium)tetrabromocuprate(II) (1) and bis(2-amino-3-chloro-5-trifluoromethylpyridinium)tetrachlorocuprate(II) (2). These compounds have been characterized by IR, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), single crystal XRD, combustion analysis, and temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with three ions in the asymmetric unit, whereas 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1, and the asymmetric unit contains 18 ionic moieties. Both compounds exhibit antiferromagnetic exchange via the double halide exchange pathway and singlet ground states, with stronger exchange observed for 1. Both compounds exhibit multiple potential magnetic exchange pathways, but fitting of the data to available analytical models suggests that the magnetic exchange constants 2J/k B are ~50 K in 1 and ~6 K in 2, respectively.  相似文献

Highly emissive three-coordinate copper halide complexes with a bidentate phosphine ligand have attracted attention. Here, a series of three-coordinate mono- and dinuclear copper halide complexes, [CuI(dpbp)2] (1) and [CuX(dpbp)]2 (dpbp = 2-(diphenylphosphino)biphenyl, X = Br (2), Cl (3)), were synthesized, and their molecular structures and photophysical properties were investigated. In the solid state, these complexes exhibit green photoluminescence with microsecond lifetimes (λmax = 515–538 nm; τ = 11.8–19.1 μs) at 298 K. The emission of the complexes originates from the (σ + X) → π* transition. All three complexes displayed good thermal stability.  相似文献

Copper(I) halide complexes having thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) and phosphorescence have attracted much attention. Here, a series of four-coordinate dinuclear copper(I) halide complexes, [CuX(bpbp)]2 (bpbp = 2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)biphenyl, X = I (1), Br (2) and Cl (3)), were synthesized, and their molecular structures and photophysical properties were investigated. The structural analysis reveals that two copper(I) centers are bridged by two halogen ligands to form a dinuclear structure with a four-membered Cu2X2 ring. These complexes exhibit yellow to blue emission in the solid state at room temperature and have peak emission wavelengths at 575–487 nm with microsecond lifetimes (τ = 6.2–19.8 μs) and low emission quantum yields (<0.01%). The emissions of 13 originate from MLCT, XLCT, and IL (intraligand) transitions. Three complexes displayed good thermal stability.  相似文献

Three-coordinate copper halide complexes with a bidentate phosphine ligand have received much attention. Here, a series of three-coordinate dinuclear copper halide complexes containing a diphenylamino monodentate phosphine ligand, [CuX(dpnp)]2 (dpnp = N-[2-(diphenylphosphino)-4,5-dimethylphenyl]-N-phenylaniline, X = I (1), Br (2) and Cl (3)), were synthesized, and their molecular structures and photophysical properties were investigated. The structural analysis reveals that two copper(I) centers are bridged by two halogen ligands to form a dinuclear structure with a four-membered Cu2X2 ring. Crystal structures of 1–3 contain 1-D supramolecular arrays constructed by intermolecular C–H?π interactions. These complexes exhibit blue emission in the solid state at room temperature and have peak emission wavelengths at 483–487 nm with microsecond lifetimes (τ = 13.9–38.1 μs) and low emission quantum yields (<0.01%). The emission of complex 1 mainly originates from intraligand (IL) transition, whereas the emissions of complexes 2 and 3 are from a combination of MLCT, XLCT and IL transitions. The three complexes displayed good thermal stability.  相似文献

Novel copolymers of trisubstituted ethylene monomers, ring-disubstituted 2-phenyl-1,1-dicyanoethylenes, RC6H3CH=C(CN)2 (where R = 3-Br-4-CH3O, 5-Br-2-CH3O, 2-F-5-CH3, 2-F-6-CH3, 3-F-2-CH3, 3-F-4-CH3, 4-F-2-CH3, 4-F-3-CH3) and 4-fluorostyrene were prepared at equimolar monomer feed composition by solution copolymerization in the presence of a radical initiator (ABCN) at 70°C. The composition of the copolymers was calculated from nitrogen analysis, and the structures were analyzed by IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. The order of relative reactivity (1/r 1) for the monomers is 3-F-4-CH3(1.64) > 5-Br-2-CH3O (1.62) > 3-Br-4-CH3O (1.36) > 4-F-2-CH3(1.3) > 4-F-3-CH3(1.26) > 3-F-2-CH3(1.11) > 2-F-5-CH3 (0.98) > 2-F-6-CH3 (0.97). High Tg of the copolymers, in comparison with that of poly(4-fluorostyrene) indicates a substantial decrease in chain mobility of the copolymer due to the high dipolar character of the trisubstituted ethylene monomer unit. Decomposition of the copolymers in nitrogen occurred in two steps, first in the 290–400°C range with residue, which then decomposed in 400–800°C range.  相似文献

In aqueous methanolic solution, reactions of CuCl2, m-hydroxybenzoic acid (HL), and NaOH with 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) at room temperature afforded {[Cu(bpy)L](µ2?Cl)(µ2?L)[Cu(bpy)L]}?1.2H2O (1) and {[Cu(phen)Cl](µ2?Cl)(µ2?L)[Cu(phen)L]} (2) with chloro- and carboxylato-bridged dinuclear [Cu(µ2?Cl)(µ2?COO)Cu] cores. The Cu2 dimers in 1 are pairwise aggregated to form H-bonded tetranuclear motifs, which are extended by H2O into 1-D H-bonded chains and further assembled into 2-D supramolecular networks. The Cu2 dimers in 2 are also linked into 1-D H-bonded chains and further assembled into 2-D supramolecular layers. Magnetic measurements indicate that significant antiferromagnetic interactions (J = ?15.9, ?12.2 cm?1) between Cu2+ ions are dominant in these dinuclear [Cu(µ2?Cl)(µ2?COO)Cu] cores. To the best of our knowledge, 2, crystallizing in the acentric polar orthorhombic space group Pna21, represents the first example of metal m-hydroxybenzoato complexes with ferroelectric properties with a remnant polarization (Pr) of ca. 0.04?µC cm?2, coercive field (Ec) of ca. 2.52 kV cm?1, and saturation of the spontaneous polarization (Ps) at ca. 0.195?µC cm?2.  相似文献

Electrophilic trisubstituted ethylenes, ring-disubstituted ethyl 2-cyano-3-phenyl-2-propenoates, RPhCH?C(CN)CO2C2H5 (where R is 3-Br-4-CH3O, 5-Br-2-CH3O, 3-F-2- CH3, 3-F-4-CH3, 4-F-2-CH3, 4-F-3-CH3, 5-F-2-CH3, 2-Cl-5-NO2, 2-Cl-6-NO2, 4-Cl-3- NO2) were prepared and copolymerized with styrene. The monomers were synthesized by the piperidine catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation of ring-disubstituted benzaldehydes and ethyl cyanoacetate, and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. All the ethylenes were copolymerized with styrene (M1) in solution with radical initiation (ABCN) at 70°C. The composition of the copolymers was calculated from nitrogen analysis, and the structures were analyzed by IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. The order of relative reactivity (1/r 1) for the monomers is 5-Br-2-CH3O (1.02) > 4-Cl-3-NO2 (0.93) > 3-F-4-CH3 (0.81) > 2-Cl-6-NO2 (0.77) > 2-Cl-5-NO2 (0.71) > 3-Br-4-CH3O (0.66) > 4-F-3-CH3 (0.60) > 3-F-2-CH3 (0.38) > 4-F-2-CH3 (0.31) > 5-F-2-CH3 (0.16). Relatively high Tg of the copolymers in comparison with that of polystyrene indicates a decrease in chain mobility of the copolymer due to the high dipolar character of the trisubstituted ethylene monomer unit. Decomposition of the copolymers in nitrogen occurred in two steps, first in the 250–500°C range with residue (2–26% wt.), which then decomposed in the 500–800°C range.  相似文献

Three Zn(II) complexes, [Zn2(bpp)2(FNA)2]·H2O (1), [Zn(bpp)(FNA)]·H2O (2), and Zn2(bpp)2(FNA)2 (3) (bpp = 1,3-bi(4-pyridyl)propane, H2FNA = 4-nitrobenzene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid), were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction methods, IR spectroscopy, TG analyses, elemental analyses, and fluorescent analysis. In 1, the Zn(II) ions are linked by FNA anions and bpp into 2-D layers. The Zn(II) ions in 2 are bridged by FNA anions into chiral chains, which are interlinked by bpp into 3-D metal–organic framework with (65·8) CdS topology. Complex 3 features 1-D zigzag chains, which are interconnected by bpp ligands to give a 3-D framework with (6·74·8)(64·7·8) topology. Complexes 2 and 3 exhibit significant ferroelectric behavior (for 2 remnant polarization Pr = 0.050 μC cm?2, coercive field Ec = 1.13 kV cm?1, saturation of the spontaneous polarization Ps = 0.239 μC cm?2; for 3 Pr = 0.192 μC cm?2, Ec = 4.64 kV cm?1, Ps = 0.298 μC cm?2).  相似文献

Abstract

Two new uranyl coordination compounds, [C9H17N2]3[(UO2)2(CrO4)2Cl2(H2O)2]Cl·5H2O (1) and (C9H17N2)[(UO2)(C2O4)Cl] (2), have been synthesized by adding potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) or oxalic acid dihydrate (H2C2O4·2H2O) solution into an aqueous solution of uranyl nitrate and 1-butyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium chloride [Bmmim]Cl. [Bmmim]Cl provides the charge balance and Cl ions that coordinate with uranyl ions. The fundamental building units of 1 and 2 are UO6Cl pentagonal bipyramidal structures. Compound 1 exhibits a graphene-like structure with a system molar ratio of 1:1 for U:Cr and crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 25.644(3) Å, b = 12.996(14) Å and c = 29.198(4) Å. 16-Membered rings are formed by CrO42? and UO22+ in the crystal structure of 1. Compound 2 crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 10.759(3) Å, b = 11.395(3) Å, c = 14.149(4) Å, β = 102.962(9)° and shows one-dimensional (1D) serrated chains. Within the crystal structures of 1 and 2, C–H[Bmmim]Cl?O hydrogen bonds are identified. O–Hwater?Cl hydrogen bonds are also detected in the crystal structure for 1.  相似文献

Two tetranuclear manganese complexes, [Mn4(L1)6](ClO4)2?2.75H2O (1) [HL1 = 4-methyl-2-((pyridin-2-ylmethylene)amino)phenol] and [Mn4(L2)4(NO3)3(OH)]?pz?3H2O (2) [HL2 = (1H-pyrazol-1-yl)(pyridin-2-yl)methanol, pz = pyrazole], have been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and magnetic measurements. The structural analysis revealed that the central manganese ion is linked with three apical manganese ions through six phenoxo-bridges creating a Mn4O6 core for 1; 2 has a cubane-like topology with the Mn(II) ions and the deprotonated oxygens from L2 alternatively occupying vertices. The magnetic studies indicated a weak ferromagnetic coupling interaction (J = 0.48 ± 0.087 cm?1, g = 2.00, θ = ?0.78 K) for 1 and a weak antiferromagnetic spin-exchange interaction (J1 = ?0.50 ± 0.075 cm?1, J2 = ?0.13 ± 0.082 cm?1, g = 1.98) between Mn(II) ions for 2. The magnetostructural correlations of the two Mn4 clusters have been discussed tentatively.  相似文献

Platinum(II) complexes, [Pt(Lx)X2] (16), where X = Br or I and Lx = 2,2′-bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline derivatives (5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (5-Mebpy), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (4-Mebpy), and 5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline (5-NH2phen)) were prepared. The complexes were characterized by the elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, infrared, and multinuclear (1H, 13C and 195Pt) 1-D and 2-D NMR spectroscopies, and by single-crystal X-ray analysis of [Pt(4-Mebpy)I2] (4). All the platinum(II) complexes (16) were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxicity against human cancer cell lines A2780 and A2780R, and against non-malignant MRC5 cell line. All the complexes were nontoxic up to the 50 μM concentration, although they were found to readily bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA), as determined by spectrophotometric titration (Kb ≈ 107 M?1) and ethidium bromide displacement assay.  相似文献

Reaction of equimolar trans-[Re(NPh)(PPh3)2Cl3] with H2L, a 1?:?1 Schiff-base condensate of salicylaldehyde and ethanolamine, in chloroform gives trans-[Re(NPh)(HL)(PPh3)Cl2] (1a) in good yield. 1a has been characterized by C, H, and N microanalyses, FTIR and UV–vis spectra. The X-ray crystal structure of 1a reveals that it is an octahedral trans-Cl,Cl phenylimidorhenium(V) complex. The rhenium center has an ‘N2OCl2P’ coordination sphere. 1a crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 11.2391(5), b = 16.4848(7), c = 16.3761(8) Å, V = 3034.0(2) Å3 and Z = 4. The electrochemical aspects of 1a have been studied. Electrochemical studies of 1a in dichloromethane show a quasi-reversible Re(V) to Re(VI) oxidation at 1.128 V versus Ag/AgCl. This redox potential reasonably matches the calculated redox potential, 1.186 V versus Ag/AgCl. Geometry optimization of the trans-Cl,Cl 1a vis-à-vis its cis analog, cis-Cl,Cl 1b, have been performed at the level of density functional theory (DFT). It is revealed that 1a is more stable than 1b by 21.6 kcal per mole of energy in the gas phase.  相似文献

Three copper(I) halide complexes containing N-methylbenzothiazole-2-thione (mbtt) and triphenylphosphine (PPh3) have been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal analysis. Copper(I) halide precursors [CuΧ(PPh3)]4 (X = Cl, Br, I) react with mbtt in 1 : 4 M ratio to give complexes of formula [CuΧ(mbtt)(PPh3)]2. Hereby, dimerization is achieved in case of copper(I) chloride and bromide via halide bridges, while copper(I) iodide gives the binuclear thione-S-bridged dimer. The new complexes show moderate in vitro antibacterial activity against certain bacterial strains. The interaction of the compounds with calf-thymus DNA was monitored via UV–vis spectroscopy, DNA-viscosity measurements and their competition with ethidium bromide for the DNA intercalation sites studied by fluorescence emission spectroscopy. Intercalation was revealed as the probable mode of binding.  相似文献

Reactions of copper salts, zoledronic acid, and 2,2′-bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline in aqueous ethanolic solutions afforded four phosphonate oxygen-bridged copper complexes, Cu(bipy)(H4zdn)(HSO4) (1), [Cu2(bipy)2(H2zdn)(H2O)(Cl)]·4H2O (2), [Cu2(phen)2(H2zdn)(H2O)(Cl)]·2.5H2O (3), and [Cu3(bipy)3(H4zdn)(H2zdn)(SO4)]·5H2O (4) (H5zdn = zoledronic acid, bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). The copper centers of 14 have square pyramidal coordination geometries. The Cu(II) ions are coordinated to bipy/phen, zoledronate, and HSO4?/Cl? forming mononuclear units for 1, dinuclear for 2 and 3, and trinuclear for 4. These building units are further extended into 3-D supramolecular networks via multiple hydrogen bond interactions. Temperature-dependent magnetic properties of 2 and 4 suggest weak antiferromagnetic coupling (J = ?4.53(8) cm?1 for 2, J = ?1.69(4) cm?1 for 4). The antitumor activity of 2 was evaluated against the human lung cancer cell line and indicates effective time- and dose-dependent cytotoxic effects.  相似文献

Electronic absorption and emission spectra of the complexes reveal that all complexes except 4 and 6 are emissive in the range 370–400 nm with 8 exhibiting an emission in the blue. Cyclic voltammetry studies of 3–8 show reversible or quasi-reversible redox processes at ca. 1 V, assigned to the Ru(II/III) couple.  相似文献

Abstract

Two iron(II)-rhenium(IV) compounds of general formula [FeII(dmf)6][ReIVX6] [X = Cl (1) and Br (2); dmf = N,N-dimethylformamide] have been prepared and characterized. X-ray powder diffraction measurements on samples of 1 and 2 support the same structure for both systems. The crystal structure of 1 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system with space group Pī. Each iron(II) is six-coordinate and bonded to six oxygens from six dmf molecules building a distorted octahedral environment. Rhenium(IV) is six-coordinate by six halide anions in an almost regular octahedral geometry. The magnetic properties were investigated from variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements performed on microcrystalline samples of 1 and 2, whose experimental data were reproduced by a model of two isolated paramagnetic centers [S = 2 (FeII) and S = 3/2 (ReIV)] with large values of zero-field splitting (zfs) parameter.  相似文献

Some new carbamates, viz. M(MorphcbmH)2X2 (MorphcbmH = morpholinecarbamic acid, M = Cu, X = Cl, ClO4,NO3; M = Zn, X = Cl, ClO4, NO3, CH3COO and X2 = SO4), have been synthesized and investigated. Compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, FT infrared, fluorescence, NMR (1H and 13C) and solution electronic absorption spectral studies. Room temperature field-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements, PXRD spectral and cyclic voltametric studies were also conducted. Chelating bidentate mode of coordination of ligand, MorphcbmH with four coordination around metal ion has been proposed. Ligand and its compounds have also been studied using non-isothermal thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetric analytical techniques which inferred formation of metal oxide/MCO3 as final thermal decomposition products. Compounds were screened against the lipase enzyme for assaying their enzyme activity and were found to retard the lipase activity from 48.16 to 0.044 µmol mL?1 min?1.  相似文献
