In the present article, we prove the following four assertions: (1) For every computable successor ordinal α, there exists a Δ α 0 -categorical integral domain (commutative semigroup) which is not relatively Δ α 0 -categorical (i.e., no formally Σ α 0 Scott family exists for such a structure). (2) For every computable successor ordinal α, there exists an intrinsically Σ α 0 -relation on the universe of a computable integral domain (commutative semigroup) which is not a relatively intrinsically Σ α 0 -relation. (3) For every computable successor ordinal α and finite n, there exists an integral domain (commutative semigroup) whose Δ α 0 -dimension is equal to n. (4) For every computable successor ordinal α, there exists an integral domain (commutative semigroup) with presentations only in the degrees of sets X such that Δ α 0 (X) is not Δ α 0 . In particular, for every finite n, there exists an integral domain (commutative semigroup) with presentations only in the degrees that are not n-low.  相似文献

Let V be a valuation domain and V[[X]] be the power series ring over V. In this paper, we show that if V[[X]] is a locally finite intersection of valuation domains, then V is an SFT domain and hence a discrete valuation domain. As a consequence, it is shown that the power series ring V[[X]] is a Krull domain if and only if V[[X]] is a generalized Krull domain if and only if V[[X]] is an integral domain of Krull type (or equivalently, a PvMD of finite t-character) if and only if V is a discrete valuation domain with Krull dimension at most one.  相似文献

The following dichotomy is established: A finitely generated, complex Dedekind domain that is not commutative is a simple ring. Weaker versions of this dichotomy are proved for Dedekind prime rings and hereditary noetherian prime rings.

If A is a strongly noetherian graded algebra generated in degree one, then there is a canonically constructed graded ring homomorphism from A to a twisted homogeneous coordinate ring , which is surjective in large degree. This result is a key step in the study of projectively simple rings. The proof relies on some results concerning the growth of graded rings which are of independent interest. D. Let Γ be a torsion-free cancellative commutative monoid and let R = ?α∈ΓRα be a commutative Γ-graded ring. We show that if R is a graded Noetherian domain, then its integral closure is a graded Krull domain. This is a graded analog of the Mori–Nagata theorem. We also show that for a graded Strong Mori domain, its complete integral closure is a graded Krull domain but its integral closure is not necessarily a graded Krull domain.  相似文献

We characterize those partially ordered sets that can occur as the spectra of polynomial rings over one-dimensional semilocal (Noetherian) domains. We also determine the posets that can occur as projective lines over one-dimensional semilocal domains.

We show that groupoid rings are separable over their ring of coefficients if and only if the groupoid is finite and the orders of the associated principal groups are invertible in the ring of coefficients. We use this to show that if we are given a finite groupoid, then the associated groupoid ring is semisimple (or hereditary) if and only if the ring of coefficients is semisimple (or hereditary) and the orders of the principal groups are invertible in the ring of coefficients. To this end, we extend parts of the theory of graded rings and modules from the group graded case to the category graded, and, hence, groupoid graded situation. In particular, we show that strongly groupoid graded rings are separable over their principal components if and only if the image of the trace map contains the identity.  相似文献

It is shown that every automorphism of an adjoint Chevalley group over an integral domain containing the rational number field is uniquely expressible as the product of a ring automorphism, a graph automorphism and an inner automorphism while every isomorphism between simple adjoint Chevalley groups can be expressed uniquely as the product of a ring isomorphism, a graph isomorphism and an inner automorphism. The isomorphisms between the elementary subgroups are also found having analogous expressions.

Let (T, M) be a complete local normal integral domain containing the rationals such that |T/M | ≥ c where c is the cardinality of the real numbers. Let p be a non-maximal prime ideal of T such that T p is a regular local ring. We construct a local Unique Factorization Domain (UFD) A such that the M-adic completion of A is T, p is maximal in the generic formal fiber and all fibers of A are geometrically regular except for those over some height one prime ideals.

We introduce two classes of egg type domains, built on general bounded sym-metric domains, for which we obtain the Bergman kernel in explicit formulas. As an aux-iliary tool, we compute the integral of complex powers of the generic norm on a boundedsymmetric domains using the well-known integral of Selberg. This generalizes matrix in-tegrals of Hua and leads to a special polynomial with integer or half-integer coefficientsattached to each irreducible bounded symmetric domain.  相似文献

An integral domain is a finite factorization domain if each nonzero element of has only finitely many divisors, up to associates. We show that a Noetherian domain is an FFD for each overring of that is a finitely generated -module, is finite. For local this is also equivalent to each being finite. We show that a one-dimensional local domain is an FFD either is finite or is a DVR.

The purpose of this paper is to calculate all the character tables of Hecke algebras associated with exceptional Weyl groups and their maximal parabolic subgroups when they are commutative. In the case when Weyl groups are of classical type, they are already known in [D.1] and [D.2]. In §1, we discuss the structure of Hecke algebras and in §2, we calculate all the character tables of these commutative Hecke algebras associated with exceptional Weyl groups.  相似文献

The main purpose of this article is to describe a numerical scheme for solving two-dimensional linear Fredholm integral equations of the second kind on a non-rectangular domain. The method approximates the solution by the discrete collocation method based on radial basis functions (RBFs) constructed on a set of disordered data. The proposed method does not require any background mesh or cell structures, so it is meshless and consequently independent of the geometry of domain. This approach reduces the solution of the two-dimensional integral equation to the solution of a linear system of algebraic equations. The error analysis of the method is provided. The proposed scheme is also extended to linear mixed Volterra–Fredholm integral equations. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the new technique.  相似文献
