We are concerned with the boundary controllability to the trajectories of the Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation. By using a Carleman estimate, we obtain the null controllability of the linearized equation around a given solution. From a local inversion theorem we get the local controllability to the trajectories of the nonlinear system. 相似文献

We consider stationary multiscale systems as defined by Basseville, Benveniste, Nikoukhah and Willsky. We show that there are deep analogies with the discrete time non stationary setting as developed by the first author, Dewilde and Dym. Following these analogies we define a point evaluation with values in a C*–algebra and the corresponding “Hardy space” in which Cauchy’s formula holds. This point evaluation is used to define in this context the counterpart of classical notions such as Blaschke factors. 相似文献

In this paper, we deal with a two-dimensional Navier-Stokes system in a rectangle with Navier slip boundary conditions on the horizontal sides. We establish the global null controllability of the system by controlling the normal component and the vorticity of the velocity on the vertical sides. The linearized control system around zero is controllable but one does not know how to deduce global controllability results for the nonlinear system. Our proof uses the return method together with a local exact controllability result by Fursikov and Imanuvilov. 相似文献

We consider a sloped canal with friction that is governed by the Saint-Venant system with source term. We show that starting sufficiently close to a stationary constant subcritical initial state, we can control the system in finite time to a state in a C1 neighbourhood of any other stationary constant subcritical state by boundary control at the ends of the canal in such a way that during the process the system state remains continuously differentiable. 相似文献

We consider nonlinear finite-dimensional scalar-input control systems in the vicinity of an equilibrium.When the linearized system is controllable, the nonlinear system is smoothly small-time locally controllable: whatever and , the state can reach a whole neighborhood of the equilibrium at time T with controls arbitrary small in -norm.When the linearized system is not controllable, we prove that: either the state is constrained to live within a smooth strict manifold, up to a cubic residual, or the quadratic order adds a signed drift with respect to it. This drift holds along a Lie bracket of length , is quantified in terms of an -norm of the control, holds for controls small in -norm and these spaces are optimal.
