The interactions between L-tryptophan(L-Trp) and water-soluble p-sulfonatocalix[4]- arene (SCX4) were investigated by spectrofluorometry. The effect of pH was discussed. The interaction process was estimated from the thermodynamic viewpoint. The SCX4 was found to be able to adjust its conformation to fit the size of L-Trp, and the benzene of L-Trp penetrated into the hydrophobic cavity of SCX4. Meanwhile, the binding mechanism was further elucidated by IHNMR and molecular mechanics calculations. 相似文献

In the present work, we synthesised a functionalised calix[4]arene with 5,11-di(N-methyl-E-(4-pyridylethylene) moiety (CX[4]), and investigated interactions of it with HemiMeQ[6], HemiMeQ[7], and Q[8]) in both water and DMSO using fluorescence spectrophotometry and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Titration 1H NMR spectra revealed that Q[n]s prefers to include the N-methyl-E-(4-pyridylethylene) moiety. In particular, the interaction of CX[4] with Q[8] in water resulted in intense fluorescence emission, and this interaction system can respond to compounds such as amantadine. 相似文献

Syntheses of the first bisthiacalix[4]arenes systems bridged by a tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) framework have been carried out through triethyl phosphite-mediated dechalcogenation dimerization of the corresponding 1,3-dithiole-2-ones. The cyclic voltammograms of the resulting bisthiacalix[4]arenes tethered by an electroactive TTF unit are provided, and exhibit an electrochemical response in the case of introduction of Ag+. 相似文献

[60]- and [70]Fullerenes have been shown to form 1:1 supramolecular complexes with bis[2-(5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,39,40,41-pentahydroxycalix[6]arenyl-oxy ethyl ether) (1) and 5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,40,41-tetra hydroxyl-39,42-(crown-4)calix[6]arene (2) in CHCl3 medium by electronic absorption spectroscopy. Formation constants (K) of the complexes of [60]- and [70]fullerenes with 1 and 2 have been determined at room temperature from which free energy of formation values of the complexes have been estimated. The very high formation constant value of [60]fullerene/1 complex (5900 dm3 mol-1) in indicative of formation of inclusion complex. Moreover, PM3 calculations reveal that intermolecular interaction between [60]fullerene and 1 proceeds through quite deep energy molecular orbital. 相似文献

Azocalix[4]arenes were prepared by linking 4-ethylaniline, 4-n-butylaniline, 4-acetamide aniline and 2-aminothiazol to calix[4]arene through a diazo-coupling reaction. A new family of azocalix[4]arenes, L1–L12, have been prepared by the incorporation of acetyl, benzoyl, and methyl ketone units to azocalix[4]arene. Five novel azo calix[4]arenes were reported. The p-aminobenzaldehyde was diazotized with sodium nitrite in aqueous hydrochloride solution. Mono-, bis-, tris- and tetrakis(p-formylphenyl)azo calix[4]arenes (including proximal and distal isomers) were obtained respectively by diazo-coupling in different molar ratio to calix[4]arene(1) under pH=7.5--8.5 at 0-5℃. Shape-selective recognition for the dicarboxylates in DMSO can be attained by a new calix[4]arene-based receptor 1 having two urea groups. Reaction of azacalix[4]pyridine and azacalix[1]arene[3]pyridine with methyl iodide afforded N-methylated products selectively and highly efficiently. Calix[4]arene and oxacalix[4]arene derivatives have eight possible conformations in the up and down directions of their four aromatic rings from the mean plane of a bridged central ring, the conformations of which determine the functionality of the host frameworks. Despite being a known compound for five decades, oxacalix[4]arene, C24H16O4, has not been characterized previously by crystallographic methods. It crystallizes from hexane/CH2Cl2 solution to give two polymorphs, i.e. prismatic and block‐shaped crystals as twisted 1,3‐alternate structures with S4 and C2 symmetry, respectively. These were previously suggested as the prefered stable conformations by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. 相似文献
