Nine novel heteronuclear complexes of Ln(III)-Cu(II) with salicylidene tetraethylene glycol diamine (SALTTA) have been synthesized and characterized. They have the general formulae [LnCu2(SALTTA)2(NO3)3](NO3)4·3H2O (Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm) and [LnCu3(SALTTA)3(NO3)5]-(NO3)4·4H2O (Ln=Gd, Tb, Er, Yb, Y). The IR spectra show that vC=N in the Ln(III)-Cu(II) heteronuclear complexes are splitted up into two peaks with a far distance. It has been confirmed that oxygen atoms in oxyethylene of the ligand are not all coordinated to the central metal ions by both IR and NMR methods.  相似文献

A new planar aromatic tridentate terpyridine-like ligand, 2,4-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-6-diethylamino-1,3,5-triazine (L), has been synthesized and the structures of its complexes [YL(NO3)3] (1) and [LnL(NO3)3(H2O)]L [Ln?=?La (2), Ce (3), Pr (4), Nd (5), Eu (6)] have been determined by X-ray crystal structural analysis. The structures of the five lanthanoid complexes are isomorphous and isostructural but different from the crystal structure of the yttrium complex [YL(NO3)3]. The latter shows a nine-coordinate metal center whereas the crystal structure of the lanthanoid complexes [LnL(NO3)3(H2O)]L show a 10-coordinate metal center. The?π–π?stacking and hydrogen bonding between the coordinated and uncoordinated L molecules sensitized the Ln luminescence. The thermal behavior of the ligand and its complexes is discussed.  相似文献

Reactions of La(III), Pr(III), Nd(III) or Sm(III) nitrate with bifunctional tetradentateSchiff base, [o-HOC6H4C(CH3): :NCH2]2, having the donor system HO–N–N–OH in 12 molar ratio have been investigated and found to yield new derivatives of the type [Ln(SBH2)2](NO3)3 [whereLn=La(III), Pr(III), Nd(III) or Sm(III) andSBH2=Schiff base molecule, [o-HOC6H4C(CH3) : NCH2]2. On the basis of elemental analyses, conductivity and magnetic measurements and infrared spectra, plausible structures for the resulting complexes have been indicated.  相似文献

The thermal decomposition of lanthanide complexes, with a general formula: [LnL(NO3)2](NO3), where Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, and Er; and L = bis-(salicyladehyde)-1,3-propylenediimine Schiff base ligand, was studied by thermogravimetric (TG) and derivative thermogravimetric (DTG) techniques. The TG and DTG data indicated that all complexes are thermostable up to 398 K. The thermal decomposition of all Ln(III) complexes was a two-stage process and the final residues were Ln2O3 (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er), Tb4O7, and Pr6 O11. The activation energies of thermal decomposition of the complexes were calculated from analysis of the TG-DTG curves using the Kissinger, Friedman, and Flynn-Well-Ozawa methods.  相似文献

Six novel μ-oxamido binuclear complexes, namely Cu(axpn)Ln(L)2(ClO4)3 (Ln: Eu, Gd, Tb, Nd, Ho, Er), where oxpn is N,N'-bis(3-aminopropyl) oxamido, L denotes 5-nitro,10-phenanthroline (abbreviated as NO2-phen), have been synthesized and characterised. The magnetic susceptibility of complexes Cu(oxpn)Gd(NO2-phen)2(ClO4)3.2H2O was measured over the 4–300 K and the observed data were successfully simulated by equation based on spin Hamiltonian operator (H = -2J1 · S2), giving the exchange integral J(Cu-Gd)=-1.62 cm?1. This indicates a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the Cu(II) and Gd(III) ions.  相似文献

Newly designed hetero-dinuclear 3d–4f complex [Cu(L)La (NO3)2(μ-NO3)(H2O)]·EtOH ( 1 ), hetero-tetranuclear 3d–4f complex [Cu(L)Ce (NO3)2(μ-NO3)(OAc)2]2·MeOH ( 2 ) and hetero-multinuclear 3d–4f complexes [{Cu(L)Ln (NO3)3}2][Cu(L)Ln (NO3)3]2 (Ln = Pr ( 3 ) and Nd = ( 4 )) have been self-assembled from the reaction of Cu (OAc)2·H2O, Ln (NO3)3·6H2O (Ln = La, Ce, Pr and Nd) with an unsymmetric salamo-like bisoxime ligand H2L (6-Methoxy-6′-ethoxy-2,2′-[ethylenedioxybis (nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol) based on a Schiff base condensation of 2-[O-(1-ethoxyamide)]oxime-6-methoxyphenol and 3-ethoxysalicylaldehyde. The structures of complexes 1 – 4 were characterized by elemental analyses, PXRD analyses, IR, UV–Vis spectra, and single-crystal X-ray analyses. In addition, the supramolecular interactions and fluorescence properties of complexes 1 – 4 are discussed in detail. Moreover, the antioxidant activities of the complexes 1 – 4 were determined by superoxide radical-scavenging method in vitro, which indicates that the complexes 1 – 4 all show potential antioxidant properties.  相似文献

Abstract

Two C3-symmetric ligands, 4,4′,4″-[1,3,5-benzenetriyltris(carbonylimino)]trisbenzoic acid (H3BTA) and benzene-1,3,5-trisbenzoic acid (H3BTB), were used to coordinate Er(III) and In(III). Reactions of the two C3-symmetric ligands with Er(NO3)3·6H2O and In(NO3)2·3H2O under solvothermal conditions resulted in formation of two new three-dimensional porous coordination polymers, [Er(BTA)(DMF)](DMF)2(H2O) (1) and [In(H2O)(BTB)](DMF)2 (2). In addition, in vitro anticancer activities of 1 and 2 on three human glioma cells (SHG-44, SWO-38, and TJ905) were determined.  相似文献

Sandwich coordination complexes, [LnIII(H3L)2]X3?solvents, of Tb(III), Eu(III), Dy(III), Ho(III) and Er(III) were prepared with two new zwitterionic ester-substituted tripodal amine ligands, tris((2-hydroxy-5-n-butyl benzoate)aminoethyl)-amine (H3L1) and tris((2-hydroxy-5-methyl benzoate)aminoethyl)-amine (H3L2). These ligands were synthesised by condensation of the appropriately substituted salicylaldehyde with tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) followed by in situ reduction of the tris-imine to tris-amine. Subsequent 2:1 reaction with lanthanide(III) ions yields [LnIII(H3L)2]X3?solvents (L = L1, L2; X = Cl?, NO3?; solvents = MeOH or H2O). All complexes were characterised by microanalysis, infrared spectroscopy, high resolution mass spectrometry and solid-state photoluminescence measurements. The crystal structures of [TbIII(H3L1)2]Cl3·6MeOH, [Dy(H3L1)2]Cl3·6MeOH, [EuIII(H3L1)2]Cl3·6MeOH and [TbIII(H3L1)2](NO3)3 reveal high-crystallographic ?3 symmetry at the O6-coordinated octahedral lanthanide(III) ions and that the tripodal ligands are bound in zwitterionic form: the protons from the phenolic oxygens have migrated to the amino nitrogens. Photoluminescence measurements indicate various degrees of energy transfer of the ligand chromophore to the lanthanide ions, as both ligand and lanthanide emission features are observed. Despite the high-crystallographic symmetry and the likely small transverse magnetic anisotropy of the complexes, no evidence of slow relaxation of the magnetisation, characteristic of a single-molecule magnet, was observed for [TbIII(H3L1)2]Cl3·MeOH·3H2O, [DyIII(H3L1)2]Cl3·6H2O, [HoIII(H3L1)2](NO3)3·2H2O, [ErIII(H3L1)2]·H2O and [TbIII(H3L1)2](NO3)3 down to 2.0 K.  相似文献

2-Hydroxybenzylidene-2-phenylquinoline-4-carbonylhydrazone (H2L) and five Ln(III) complexes, [Ln(H2L)(NO3)2]NO3 [Ln = La (1), Pr (2), Sm (3), Eu (4), and Tb (5)], have been synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, mass spectra, IR spectra, and UV spectra. The interaction of these complexes with calf thymus DNA was investigated by UV absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, circular dichroism spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. Results suggest that these complexes bind to DNA via groove binding.  相似文献

The solid-state coordination reaction: Nd(NO3)3·6H2O(s)+4Ala(s) → Nd(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O(s)+5H2O(l) and Er(NO3)3·6H2O(s)+4Ala(s) → Er(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O(s)+5H2O(l) have been studied by classical solution calorimetry. The molar dissolution enthalpies of the reactants and the products in 2 mol L–1 HCl solvent of these two solid-solid coordination reactions have been measured using a calorimeter. From the results and other auxiliary quantities, the standard molar formation enthalpies of [Nd(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O, s, 298.2 K] and[Er(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O, s,298.2 K] at 298.2 K have been determined to be Δf H m 0 [Nd(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O,s, 298.2 K]=–3867.2 kJ mol–1, and Δf H m 0 [Er(Ala)4(NO3)3·H2O, s, 298.2 K]=–3821.5 kJ mol–1. Two new erbium compounds, [Er2(BDC)3(DMF)2] (1) and [Er2(CQC)3(DMF)3(H2O)]?·?DMF?·?H2O (2), where BDC stands for 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate, CQC for 2-(4-carboxyquinolin-2-yl)quinoline-4-carboxylate, and DMF for N,N-dimethylformamide, have been synthesized through pre-heating and cooling-down crystallization. In 1 the Er(III) is seven-coordinate with oxygen atoms from six BDC and one DMF, forming a three-dimensional open-framework structure. Compound 2 possesses a 2D structure based on dinuclear Er(III) building units. The photoluminescence of 1 has also been investigated.  相似文献

Three new lanthanide(III) complexes with N-(2-propionic acid)-salicyloylhydrazone (H2L, C10H10N2O4) ligand [La(HL)2(NO3)(H2O)2]3 ·4H2O(I), [Gd(HL)3] · 2(C2H5)3 N(II) and [Er(L)(HL)(H2O)2] · 2H2O(III) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV, and molar conductivity. The crystal structures of three complexes have been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffractometer. In complex I, the La3+ ion is ten-coordinated by two tridentate ligands, one bidentate nitrate, and two water molecules. In complex II, the Gd3+ ion has a coordination number of nine by three tridentate ligands. In complex III, the Er3+ ion is eight-coordinated by two tridentate ligands and two water molecules. In all structures, tridentate ligands are coordinated by carboxyl O and acyl O atoms and azomethine N atom to form two stable five-membered rings sharing one side in the keto mode as indicated by the results of crystal structures and infrared spectral analysis.  相似文献

Abstract

Developing new drugs for the treatment of cancer is of great significance. Coordination compounds based on tetrazole-carboxylates are the potential candidates for cancer treatment. In this article, [Ce2(atzpa)4(H2O)8](NO3)2·2H2O based on 5-aminotetrazole-1-propanoic acid (Hatzpa) and Ce(NO3)3·6H2O has been designed and prepared. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that the compound is binuclear in which atzpa acts as a bridging ligand. In order to improve the water dispersity of this compound, PEG-5000 (poly(ethyleneglycol-5000)) was coated on [Ce2(atzpa)4(H2O)8](NO3)2·2H2O to prepare the nanoparticles (NPs) in distilled water. In vitro study on HeLa cells shows that Hatzpa is nontoxic itself, while [Ce2(atzpa)4(H2O)8](NO3)2·2H2O NPs show high toxicity. Such NPs have a low half-inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 24?μg mL?1 (2.0?×?10?5 M). In addition, such NPs are able to inhibit the migration of HeLa cells even at a low concentration effectively, showing their potential to inhibit the transfer of tumors in vivo.  相似文献

The [{Pr(NO3)2(H2O)3}{Pr(NO3)(H2O)4} (C36H36N24O12)](NO3)3·4H2O and [{Nd(NO3)(H2O)4} 2(NO3@C36H36N24O12)][Nd(NO3)6] complexes were prepared by heating a mixture of lanthanide nitrates, cucurbit[6]uril, and water in a sealed tube. X-ray diffraction study demonstrated that the metal atoms in the former complex are linked to the macrocycle through tridentate coordination of the portal oxygen atoms of cucurbit[6]uril to the praseodymium(III) cation. The neodymium(III) complex is the first example of lanthanide compounds with cucurbit[6]uril belonging to coordination polymers. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. This article presents the synthesis, physico-chemical, in particular voltammetric, characteristics of two iron(III) complexes with pyridoxal aminoguanidine (PLAG), [Fe(PLAG)Cl2(H2O)]Cl (1) and [Fe(PLAG)2](NO3)3 (2). As expected, the zwitterion of the chelate ligand is coordinated tridentate through oxygen of phenol and nitrogen atoms of azomethine and imino groups of the aminoguanidine fragment. In both complexes, Fe(III) is distorted octahedral. [Fe(PLAG)2](NO3)3 (2) is the first bis(ligand) complex with this ligand. Cyclic voltammetric characteristics of the ligand and complexes were studied in DMF in the presence of TBAP or LiCl as supporting electrolytes. The complexes are unstable in this solvent, especially in the presence of an excess of chloride, thus forming several reducible species whose stabilities and behaviors were characterized.  相似文献

Twelve oxamide-bridged Ln(III)–Cu(II) heteropentanuclear complexes Ln[Cu(PMoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 5H2O (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, and PMoxd = the N,N′-Bi(α-pyridylmethyl)-oxamide dianion) and 12 oxamide-bridged Ln(III)–Cu(II) heteropentanuclear complexes with the formula of Ln[Cu(PEoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 5H2O (PEoxd = the N,N′-Bi(α-pyridylethyl)-oxamide dianion) were synthesized and characterized. The magnetic properties of Gd[Cu(PMoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 5H2O (7) and Gd[Cu(PEoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 2H2O (19) show that there are ferromagnetic interactions between Gd(III) and Cu(II) in the complexes with J Cu–Gd = 1.38 cm?1 and J Cu–Gd = 1.00 cm?1, respectively. Fluorescent quenching phenomena for Eu[Cu(PMoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 5H2O (6) and Tb[Cu(PMoxd)]4(ClO4)3 · 5H2O (8) were also observed.  相似文献

Sodium plutonium double sulphate monohydrate, NaPu(SO4)2 · H2O and its lanthanide isomorphs NaLn(SO4)2 · H2O (Ln ≡ Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm and Yb) were synthesized and characterised by chemical and X-ray diffraction methods. All these compounds belonged to the same structural family where the Pu3+ or Ln3+ ion is coordinated to nine oxygen atoms. The structure of NaPu(SO4)2 · H2O was found in the present work to be isomorphous with NaCe(SO4)2 · H2O reported in the literature. The unit cells of all the lanthanide compounds showed regular contraction with atomic number.  相似文献

Twelve coordinate lanthanide (III) complexes with the general composition [Ln L3Xn(H2O)n] where Ln = Pr(III), Sm(III), Eu (III), Gd (III), Tb (III), Dy (III), X = Cl?1, NO3 ?2, n = 2–7, and L is 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1- thiosemicarbazone have been prepared. The lanthanide complexes (5) were derived from the reaction between 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-thiosemicarbazone (4) with an aqueous solution of lanthanide salt. Chalcone thiosemicarbazone ligand (4) was prepared by the reaction of [1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4-fluoro/hydroxyphenyl)]prop-2-enone (chalcone) (3) with thiosemicarbazide in the presence of hot ethanol. All the lanthanide-ligand 1:3 complexes have been isolated in the solid state, are stable in air, and characterized on the basis of their elemental and spectral data.

Thiosemicarbazone ligands behave as bidentate ligands by coordinating through the sulfur of the isocyanide group and nitrogen of the cyanide residue. The probable structure for all the lanthanide complexes is also proposed. The chalcone thiosemicarbazone ligands and their lanthanide complexes have been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial studies. Some of the synthesized lanthanide complexes have shown enhanced activity compared with that of the free ligand.

Nine h( III) complexes with a novel Schiff base derived from diglycolamine and benzoylacetone (BZDA) have been synthesized and characterized. They can be formulated as [Ln2(BZDA)3(NO3)3](NO3)3-nH2O (Ln? La, Pr, Nd, Sm, n = 4; Ln = Gd, Tb, Er, Yb, Y, n = 7). Enamic form mechanism in this β-diketone Schiff base and its Complexes were suggested and proved by IR, UV and NMR methods. The 13C spin-lattice relaxation time T1 and the ratios of r(Ci-In)/ r (cj-in) were measured by a 500 MHz NMR instrument for elucidating the formation of the stable six-membered chelate ring structure in these complexes. The EPR spectrum of the Gd( III) complex exhibits the “U” spectral feature and “zero field effect”. On the basis of them, the crystal field strength and the local symmetry around Gd 3+ in the complex have been discussed.  相似文献
