Synthesis, characterization, and epoxidation chemistry of four new dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes [MoO(2)(L)(2)] (1-4) with aryloxide-pyrazole ligands L = L1-L4 is described. Catalysts 1-4 are air and moisture stable and easy to synthesize in only three steps in good yields. All four complexes are coordinated by the two bidentate ligands in an asymmetric fashion with one phenoxide and one pyrazole being trans to oxo atoms, respectively. This is in contrast to the structure found for the related aryloxide-oxazoline coordinated Mo(VI) dioxo complex 5. This was confirmed by the determination of the molecular structures of complexes 1-3 by X-ray diffraction analyses. Compounds 1-4 show high catalytic activities in the epoxidation of various olefins. Cyclooctene (S1) is converted to its epoxide with high activity, whereas the epoxidation of styrene (S2) is unselective. Internal olefins (S3 and S4) are also acceptable substrates, as well as the very challenging olefin 1-octene (S5). Catalyst loading can be reduced to 0.02 mol % and the catalyst can be recycled up to ten times without significant loss of activity. Supportive DFT calculations have been carried out in order to obtain deeper insights into the electronic situation around the Mo atom.  相似文献

Three novel tridentate pyridazine phenolate ligands were prepared in high yields by Schiff-base condensation of salicylic aldehyde with various pyridazine hydrazines (substituent R in the 6 position: R = Cl (HL(Cl)), (t)Bu (HL((t)Bu)), or tol (HL(tol))). They react with [ReOCl(3)(OPPh(3))(SMe(2))] to form rare mononuclear trans-dichloro oxo complexes of general formula [ReOCl(2)(L(R))] with R = tol (1), (t)Bu (2), or Cl (3) as confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses of 1 and 2. They were found to be catalysts for oxidation of cyclooctene to the corresponding epoxide by tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP). Extensive UV-vis and NMR spectroscopic investigations followed by evaluation using the powerful Mauser method revealed mechanistic details. This showed the catalyst precursor [ReOCl(2)(L)] (2) to be transformed into the rhenium(VII) compound [ReO(3)L] (4) in a two-step reaction via intermediate INT which is tentatively assigned to [ReO(2)L]. Confirmation gave the isolation of 4 by reaction of 2 with excess of TBHP. Monitoring the catalytic oxidation reaction by UV-vis spectroscopy clearly excludes the two rhenium(V) compounds 2 and INT from being the catalytically active species as their formation is several orders of magnitude faster than the observed catalytic epoxidation reaction.  相似文献

The deaquation of two isostructural compounds of general formula [M(HL)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (M=Co, Ni, HL=3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxamidine) is discussed in the view of their crystal and molecular structure. The compounds contain the same number and type of hydrogen bonds of the adjacent nitrate ions, only in the opposite orientation. On the basis of their deaquation pattern such a small difference may be detected, i.e., methods of thermal analysis are sensitive enough to show very small structural differences.  相似文献

The pyrazole ligand 3,5-dimethyl-4-iodopyrazole (HdmIPz) has been used to obtain a series of palladium(II) complexes (14) of the type [PdX2(HdmIPz)2] {X = Cl (1); Br (2); I (3); SCN (4)}. All compounds have been isolated, purified, and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, 1H and 13C{1H}-NMR experiments, differential thermal analysis (DTA), and thermogravimetry (TG). The TG/DTA curves showed that the compounds released ligands in the temperature range 137–605 °C, yielding metallic palladium as final residue. The complexes and the ligand together with cisplatin have been tested in vitro by MTT assay for their cytotoxicity against two murine cancer cell lines: mammary adenocarcinoma (LM3) and lung adenocarcinoma (LP07).  相似文献

This study describes the synthesis, IR, 1H, and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopic as well the thermal characterization of the new palladium(II) pyrazolyl complexes [PdCl2(HmPz)2] 1, [PdBr2(HmPz)2] 2, [PdI2(HmPz)2] 3, [Pd(SCN)2(HmPz)2] 4 {HmPz = 4-methylpyrazole}. The residues of the thermal decomposition were identified as Pd0 by X-ray powder diffraction. From the initial decomposition temperatures, the thermal stability of the complexes can be ordered in the sequence: 1 > 2 > 4 ≈ 3. The cytotoxic activities of the complexes and the ligand were investigated against two murine cancer cell lines: mammary adenocarcinoma (LM3) and lung adenocarcinoma (LP07) and compared to cisplatin under the same experimental conditions.  相似文献

Equivalent amounts of ReOX(3)(OPPh(3))(Me(2)S) (where X = Cl, Br) and L-histidine (L-hisH) in acetonitrile yield ReOX(2)(L-his), in which the amino acid monoanion is N,N,O-tridentate. X-ray diffraction work on both compounds shows that the three donors occupy a face in a distorted octahedron and the carboxylate oxygen is coordinated trans to the Re=O bond. The 2:1 complex [ReO(L-his)(2)]I is obtained by reacting 2 equiv of L-histidine with ReO(2)I(PPh(3))(2) in methanol in the presence of NaOCH(3). (1)H NMR spectroscopy indicates that these complexes contain one N,N,O-tridentate histidine anion coordinated as above and one N,N-bidentate histidine anion, whose carboxylate group is free. By refluxing ReOX(2)(L-his) in methanol, the carboxylic groups esterify and two octahedral units condense into an oxo-bridged dinuclear complex [ReOX(2)(L-hisMe)](2)O containing N,N-bidentate histidine methyl ester. The O=Re-O-Re=O backbone is approximately linear, and the two ReOX(2)(L-hisMe) units are related by a 2-fold axis through the central oxygen. Crystals of [ReOBr(2)(L-hisMe)](2)O consist of an ordered phase containing two of the possible diastereoisomers in a 1:1 ratio. (1)H NMR spectra of these crystals include two sets of signals, consistent with the presence of two isomers with C(2) symmetry, and the spectra of the nonrecrystallized material confirm that these are the only two isomers formed.  相似文献

The reaction of equimolar quantities of trans-[ReOCl3(PPh3)2] and 8-hydroxyquinoline (Hhqn) in benzene led to the isolation of the six-coordinate complex [ReOCl2(hqn)(PPh3)] (1). With 2-pyridine-ethanol (Hhep) the compound [ReOCl2(hep)(PPh3)] (2) was obtained. Both hqn and hep ligands act as monoanionic bidentate N,O-donor chelates. Although the two complexes are very similar, there are some significant differences in certain bond distances and angles in them. Both complexes contain the nearly linear trans O=Re–O axis, with this angle equal to 160.9(2)° and 167.8(1)° in 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

Neutral oxorhenium(V) complexes with thiosemicarbazones derived from 2‐pyridine formamide, HL1, are formed when [ReOCl3(PPh3)2] reacts with equimolar amounts of the ligands. Reduction of the metal and the formation of rhenium(III) complexes of the composition [Re(L1)2]+ occurs when an excess of thiosemicarbazones is used and the reaction is performed in boiling toluene for a prolonged period of time. The thiosemicarbazones deprotonate and act as tridentate ligands as has been confirmed by an X‐ray structure of [ReOCl2(L1b)], where HL1b is 2‐pyridineformamide‐N(4)‐ethylthiosemicarbazone and the ligand occupies the equatorial coordination sphere of the complex together with one of the chloro ligands.  相似文献

The Rieske dioxygenases are a group of non-heme iron enzymes, which catalyze the stereospecific cis-dihydroxylation of its substrates. Herein, we report the iron(II) coordination chemistry of the ligands 3,3-bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)propionate (L1) and its neutral propyl ester analogue propyl 3,3-bis(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)propionate (PrL1). The molecular structures of two iron(II) complexes with PrL1 were determined and two different coordination modes of the ligand were observed. In [Fe(II)(PrL1)(2)](BPh(4))(2) (3) the ligand is facially coordinated to the metal with an N,N,O donor set, whereas in [Fe(II)(PrL1)(2)(MeOH)(2)](OTf)(2) (4) a bidentate N,N binding mode is found. In 4, the solvent molecules are in a cis arrangement with respect to each other. Complex 4 is a close structural mimic of the crystallographically characterized non-heme iron(II) enzyme apocarotenoid-15-15'-oxygenase (APO). The mechanistic features of APO are thought to be similar to those of the Rieske oxygenases, the original inspiration for this work. The non-heme iron complexes [Fe(II)(PrL1)(2)](OTf)(2) (2) and [Fe(II)(PrL1)(2)](BPh(4))(2) (3) were tested in olefin oxidation reactions with H(2)O(2) as the terminal oxidant. Whereas 2 was an active catalyst and both epoxide and cis-dihydroxylation products were observed, 3 showed negligible activity under the same conditions, illustrating the importance of the anion in the reaction.  相似文献

Air-stable rhenium(V) nitrido complexes are formed when [ReOCl3(PPh3)2], [NBu4][ReOCl4], or [NBu4][ReNCl4] are treated with an excess of silylated phosphoraneiminates of the composition Me3SiNPPh3 or Ph2P(NSiMe3)CH2PPh2 in CH2Cl2. Complexes of the compositions [ReNCl(Ph2PCH2PPh2NH)2]Cl (1), [ReN(OSiMe3)(Ph2PCH2PPh2NH)2]Cl (2) or [ReNCl2(PPh3)2] (3) were isolated and structurally characterized. The latter compound was also produced during a reaction of the rhenium(III) precursor [ReCl3(PPh3)2(CH3CN)] and Me3SiNPPh3. Nitrogen transfer from the phosphorus to the rhenium atoms and the formation of nitrido ligands were observed in all examples. All products of reactions with an excess of the potentially chelating phosphoraneiminate Me3SiNP(Ph2)CH2PPh2 contain neutral Ph2PCH2PPh2NH ligands. The required protons are supplied by a metal-induced decomposition of the solvent dichloromethane. The Re-N(imine) bond lengths (2.055-2.110 A) indicate single bonds, whereas the N-P bond with lengths between 1.596 A and 1.611 A reflect considerable double bond character. An oxorhenium(V) phosphoraneiminato complex, the dimeric compound [ReOCl2(mu-N-Ph2PCH2PPh2N)]2 (4), is formed during the reaction of [NBu4][ReOCl4] with an equivalent amount of Ph2P(NSiMe3)CH2PPh in dry acetonitrile. The blue neutral complex with two bridging phosphoraneiminato units is stable as a solid and in dry solvents. It decomposes in solution, when traces of water are present. The rhenium-nitrogen distances of 2.028(3) and 2.082(3) A are in the typical range of bridging phosphoraneiminates and an almost symmetric bonding mode. Technetium complexes with phosphoraneimine ligands were isolated from reactions of [NBu4][TcOCl4] with Me3SiNPPh3, and [NBu4][TcNCl4] with Me3SiNP(Ph2)CH2PPh2. Nitrogen transfer and the formation of a five-coordinate nitrido species, [TcNCl2(HNPPh3)2] (5), was observed in the case of the oxo precursor, whereas reduction of the technetium(VI) starting material and the formation of the neutral technetium(V) complex [TcNCl2(Ph2PCH2PPh2NH)] (6) or [TcNCl(Ph2PCH2PPh2NH)2]Cl (7) was observed in the latter case. Both technetium complexes are air stable and X-ray structure determinations show bonding modes of the phosphoraneimines similar to those in the rhenium complexes.  相似文献

A family of oxorhenium(V) complexes of newly designed pyridylthioazophenolate ligands has been synthesized and isolated in pure form. The solid state structure of an organic compound (HL1) has been established by X-ray crystallography. The molecular structure observed in the solid state is that the two molecules of the ligand (HL1) in the asymmetric unit have similar geometries, except for the orientation of the pyridine ring. This series of organic moieties acts as tetradentate monobasic NSNO donor chelators in oxorhenium(V) complexes which has been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H-NMR, UV–Vis. The complexes are 1:1 electrolytes in nature in MeOH solution, the counter anion being ClO 4 . The electrochemical studies of the [ReVO(L)Cl]ClO4 complexes in MeCN using TBAP as supporting electrolyte exhibit quasi-reversible voltammogram showing one-electron couple for [ReVIO(L)Cl]2+−[ReVO(L)Cl]+ in the 1.11–1.29 V vs SCE range.  相似文献

The preparation and characterization of a series of niobium(V) complexes that incorporate the linear-linked aryloxide trimers 2,6-bis(4,6-dimethylsalicyl)-4-tert-butylphenol [H3(Me-L)] and 2,6-bis(4-methyl-6-tert-butylsalicyl)-4-tert-butylphenol [H3(tBu-L)] are described. The chloride complex [Nb(Me-L)Cl2]2 (1) was prepared in high yield by reaction of NbCl5 with H3(Me-L) in toluene. In contrast, the analogous reaction with H3(tBu-L) gave a mixture of [Nb(tBu-L)Cl2]2 (2) and [Nb(de-tBu-L)Cl2]2 (3a). During the formation of 3a, one of tert-butyl groups at the ortho position in the tBu-L ligand was lost. When the NbCl5/H3(tBu-L) reaction was carried out in acetonitrile, Nb[H(tBu-L)]Cl3(NCMe) (4) was obtained. Heating a solution of 4 in toluene generated 2 and 3a. The isolated complex 4 underwent ligand redistribution in acetonitrile to produce Nb[H(tBu-L)]2Cl(NCMe) (5). Treatment of NbCl5 with Li3(tBu-L) in toluene afforded 2. The chloride ligands in 1 and 2 smoothly reacted with 4 equiv of MeMgI and LiStBu, resulting in [Nb(R-L)Me2]2 [R = Me (6), tBu (7)] and Nb(Me-L)(StBu)2 (8), respectively. A number of the above complexes have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. In the structures of 1, 2, and 6, the R-L ligand is bound to the metal center with a U-coordination mode, while an alternative S-conformation is adopted for 3a and 8. Complexes 4 and 5 contain a bidentate H(tBu-L) diphenoxide-monophenol ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzothiazole, [NN], with the ReO(V)(3+) and TcO(V)(3+) cores in the presence of thiophenols, [S] (RC(6)H(4)SH, R = H, 4-CH(3), 4-OCH(3)), as coligands led to the isolation of hexacoordinated complexes of the MO[NN][S](3) type (M = Re, Tc). In all cases, two geometric mer isomers were formed, as evidenced by NMR spectroscopy and confirmed by X-ray crystallography. In both isomers, the coordination geometry about the metal ion is a distorted octahedral defined by the two nitrogen atoms of the bidentate ligand, the three sulfur atoms of the monodentate thiols, and the oxygen atom of the oxo group. The apical positions of the octahedron are occupied by the oxygen of the oxo group and, in one of the isomers, the nitrogen of the pyridyl moiety of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzothiazole, while, in the second isomer, the imine nitrogen of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzothiazole. The complexes are stable, neutral, and lipophilic. Complete (1)H and (13)C NMR assignments are reported for all complexes. The synthetic reaction was also successfully transferred at the technetium-99m tracer level by ligand exchange reaction using (99m)Tc-glucoheptonate as precursor in the presence of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzothiazole and 4-CH(3)C(6)H(4)SH. The structure of the technetium-99m complex was established by high-performance liquid chromatographic comparison with the analogous oxotechnetium and oxorhenium complexes. The 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzothiazole ligand serves as a preliminary model for 2-(4-aminophenyl)benzothiazole, which possesses interesting properties for the development of technetium and rhenium radiopharmaceuticals for tumor imaging and/or radiotherapy as well as in vivo diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.  相似文献

Pyrazole IrHCl2(HRpz)P2 [P = PPh3, PiPr3; R = H, 3-Me], bis(pyrazole) [IrHCl(HRpz)2(PPh3)2]BPh4 and imidazole IrHCl2(HIm)(PPh3)2 derivatives were prepared by allowing the IrHCl2(PPh3)3 complex to react with the appropriate azole in refluxing 1,2-dichloroethane. Nitrile IrHCl2(CH3CN)(PPh3)2 and 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) [IrHCl(bpy)(PPh3)2]BPh4 derivatives were also prepared using IrHCl2(PPh3)3 as a precursor. The complexes were characterised spectroscopically (IR and NMR) and a geometry in solution was also established. Protonation with Brønsted acid of pyrazole IrHCl2(Hpz)(PPh3)2 and imidazole IrHCl2(HIm)(PPh3)2 complexes proceeded with the loss of the azole ligands and the formation of the unstable IrHCl2(PPh3)2 derivative. Vinyl IrCl2{CHC(H)R1}(HRpz)P2 and IrCl2{CHC(H)R1}(HIm)P2 (R1 = Ph, p-tolyl, COOCH3; P = PPh3, PiPr3) complexes were prepared by allowing hydride-pyrazole IrHCl2(HRpz)P2 and hydride-imidazole IrHCl2(HIm)P2 to react with an excess of terminal alkyne in 1,2-dichloroethane. The complexes were characterised spectroscopically and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of the IrCl2{CHC(H)Ph}(Hpz)(PPh3)2 derivative.  相似文献

Dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes with the general formula [MoO2X2(N,N)] (X = Cl, OSiPh3) containing a chiral bidentate oxazoline ligand (N,N = 2,2′-bis[(4S)-4-benzyl-2-oxazoline]) have been prepared and characterised by 1H NMR, IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The bis(chloro) complex was heterogenised in the ordered mesoporous silica MCM-41 by direct grafting in dichloromethane. Elemental analysis and 29Si MAS NMR spectroscopy of the derivatised material indicated the presence of monopodally anchored species of the type MoO2[(–O)3SiO]Cl(N,N). The complex [MoO2Cl2(N,N)] and the derivatised material exhibited initial activities of 147 and , respectively, in the catalytic epoxidation of cyclooctene using tert-butylhydroperoxide (tBuOOH) as the oxidant, both yielding 1,2-epoxycyclooctane quantitatively within 24 h at 55 °C. The MCM-41 grafted catalyst could be recycled with no loss in performance with respect to the epoxide yields obtained for reaction times above 2 h. With trans-β-methylstyrene as the substrate, the bis(chloro) complex and the derivatised material gave epoxides as the only products with yields in the range of 56–64% after 24 h, but no catalytic asymmetric induction was observed. The triphenylsiloxy complex was more active than the bis(chloro) complex for the epoxidation of trans-β-methylstyrene, but the enantiomeric excess was negligible and the corresponding diols were also formed. For the reaction catalysed by the supported material, changing the oxidant from tBuOOH to cumene hydroperoxide greatly improved the catalytic activity but the enantiomeric excess continued very low and the corresponding diol was the main product.  相似文献

Thermal decomposition kinetics of ML2 (M = Ni(II) and Co(II); L = 5-(2-(1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)hydrazono)-1,3-dimethylpyrimidine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione) complexes were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The first decomposition process of the NiL2 and CoL2 complexes occurs in the temperature range of 320–350 °C. Kinetics parameters corresponding to this step, such as activation energy, Eα, and apparent pre-exponential factor, ln Aaap, were calculated from the thermogravimetric data at the heating rates of 5, 10, 15 and 20 K min−1 by differential (Friedman's equation) and integral (Flynn–Wall–Ozawa's equation) methods. The results show that the activation energy evidently depends on the extent of conversion. As far as their activation energy is concerned, NiL2 complex shows a higher thermal stability than the CoL2 complex.  相似文献

The first members of the classes of the organorhenium(VII) oxides and organomolybdenum(VI) oxides were described during the 1960s and 1970s. However, despite the fact that methyltrioxorhenium(VII)(MTO) is probably the best examined organometallic oxide known, many of its derivatives as well as the Mo congeners were not tested for any application. Nevertheless, it is known that several organomolybdenum oxides, particularly those of formula eta5-(C5R5)MoO2Cl and eta5-(C5R5)MoO2R' are powerful epoxidation catalysts if applied together with tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP). MTO catalyzes a broad variety of organic reactions, among them being olefin epoxidation--in this case with the "green" oxidant H2O2- the most thoroughly examined. The heterogenization of the molybdenum compounds as well as of MTO both on carrier materials and in ionic liquids has already been achieved and it is to be expected that a suitable modification of the organic ligands will lead to applications in chiral catalysis in the near future.  相似文献

Complexes of the type (η5-C5R5)Mo(CO)3X (X = Me, Cl; R = H, Me), being efficient homogeneous catalysts for the epoxidation of olefins, have been examined for their catalytic performance at 55 °C in systems containing room temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) of composition [BMIM]NTf2, [BMIM]PF6, [C8MIM]PF6 and [BMIM]BF4. The catalytic performance for cyclooctene epoxidation depends strongly on the water content of the system, the catalyst solubility in the RTIL, and the reaction behaviour of the RTIL under the applied reaction conditions. The catalysts can be recycled without significant loss of activity when a reaction system containing [BMIM]NTf2 and [BMIM]PF6 in a 4:1 relationship is used. High proportions of [BMIM]PF6 lead to a ring opening reaction (diol formation), due to HF formation and the presence of residual water.  相似文献

The respective coordination reactions of trans-[ReOCl3(PPh3)2] with N-[(4-oxo-4H-chromen-3-yl)methylidene]thiophene-2-carbohydrazide (Hchrtc) and N-[1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylmethylidene]thiophene-2-carbohydrazide (Hbztc) afforded two novel oxorhenium(V) complexes, cis-[ReOCl2(chrtc)(PPh3)] (1) and cis-[ReOCl2(bztc)(PPh3)] (2). These metal compounds were elucidated spectroscopically and their solid-state structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The redox properties of the metal complexes were probed using cyclic and square wave voltammetry. The DNA interaction capabilities of 1 and 2 were gauged via UV/Vis spectroscopy DNA titrations and gel electrophoresis studies. A correlation is identified between the DNA cleavage observations and the redox potentials of the metal complexes.  相似文献
