Brassylic acid from crambe oil was used to synthesize 613 and 1013 polyamides by conventional melt polycondensation. The physical properties were compared to those of a commercial nylon 612: the polymers were melt-spun to monofilaments whose mechanical properties and moisture isotherms were found. Wide-angle x-ray diffraction patterns were determined, and a preliminary attribution of crystal structure made.  相似文献

Methyl erucate has been separated from the mixed esters of the fatty acids obtained from the seed oil of Crambe abyssinica. Oxidative cleavage of erucic acid to give brassylic and pelar-gonic acids has been examined. The brassylic acid yield by nitric acid oxidation is less than that from reaction with potassium permanganate which in turn is less productive than ozonolysis. The overall yield of high-purity brassylic acid is 62.4% based on the methyl erucate fraction or 36.4% referred to the seed oil.  相似文献

Brassylic acid obtained from crambe oil has been used to make linear polyesters by condensation with 1, 3-butandiol; other polyesters were synthesized for comparison purposes. Number-average molecular weights were determined from the saponification equivalent and by vapor-phase osmometry; viscosity measurements are also reported. These polymers, together with comparison materials, have been evaluated as plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride). The poly(butan brassylates) give plasticized PVC having good mechanical properties at room temperature and, except for extraction with hydrocarbon, with low migration of plasticizer and which are particularly good in retaining flexibility at low temperatures.  相似文献

The equilibrium swelling study of polyurethanes (PU) was carried out in various solvents in order to calculate their solubility parameter. The kinetics of swelling and sorption have also been studied in 1,4‐dioxane at 30°C. The PU was synthesized by reacting a novel polyol (castor oil derivative and epoxy based resin, EpxR) and one of the polyethylene glycols (PEG 200, PEG 400, PEG 600) with different weight compositions, with a toluene diisocyanate (TDI) adduct (derived from toluene diisocyanate and R60 polyol). Different NCO/OH ratio viz. 1, 1.3 and 1.7 were employed in the study. The results were found to vary with the weight composition of polyol components, as well as the crosslink density of the samples. The sorption behavior is also found to vary with the molecular weight of polyethylene glycol employed in the preparations of the polyurethanes. Kinetic studies of swelling revealed that the sorption is anomalous in nature. The diffusion coefficient (D) increased with an increase in the NCO/OH ratio and decreased with an increase in chain length of polyethylene glycol. The sorption coefficient (S) decreased with an increase in crosslink density (NCO/OH) and increased with increasing polyethylene glycol (i.e., PEG 200, PEG 400, and PEG 600) moieties in the polyurethanes. The molecular weight between two crosslink points was calculated using the Flory Rehner equation (24), and hence, the number of chains per unit volume (N) and degree of crosslinking (ν) in all the samples were determined.  相似文献

A poly(vinyl chloride) membrane sensor based on oxalic acid bis (cyclohexylidene hydrazide) as membrane carrier was prepared and investigated as a Cr(III)‐selective electrode. The electrode reveals a Nernstian behavior (slope 19.8±0.4 mV decade?1) over a wide Cr(III) ion concentration range 1.0×10?7–1.0×10?2 mol dm?3 with a very low limit of detection (i.e., down to 6.3×10?8 mol dm?3). The potentiometric response of the sensor is independent of the pH of the test solution in the pH range 1.7–6.5. The electrode possesses advantage of very fast response, relatively long lifetime and especially good selectivity to wide variety of other cations. The sensor was used as an indicator electrode, in the potentiometric titration of chromium ion and in the determination of Cr(III) in waste water and alloy samples.  相似文献

Alternating copolymers of cis-butene-2 and maleic anhydride were esterfied to the methylester which corresponds to head to head (H-H) poly(methyl crotonate).

The chemical, physical, and mechanical properties and thermal degradation behavior of H-H poly (methyl crotonate) was studied and compared with the properties of head to tail (H-T) poly(methyl crotonate). This latter polymer was made by a known anionic polymerization technique and was, unlike the amorphous H-H polymer, partially crystalline. The Tg of H-H polymer was found to be higher than that of the H-T polymer. Thermal degradation behavior of H-H and H-T polymer was between the degradation behavior of H-H and H-T poly(methyl cinnamate) and poly (methyl acrylate). Poly (methyl crotonates) degraded to a substantial part to small molecules and char; methyl crotonate was found among the degradation products. H-H Poly (methyl crotonate) gave also butene-2 and a mixture of dimethyl maleate and dimethyl fumarate on pyrolysis.  相似文献

The reaction of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid ( 1 , LH2) with CeCl3·7H2O and Sm(NO3)3·6H2O in the presence of triethylamine led to the coordination polymer complexes [M(L)(LH)(H2O)2]·4H2O [M = Ce ( 2 ) and Sm ( 3 )]. Both complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and the crystal structures of 2 and 3 . Crystal data for 2 at ?80 °C: monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 1404.6(1), b = 1122.1(1), c = 1296.1(1) pm, β = 102.09(1)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0217 and for 3 at ?80 °C: monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 1395.1(1), b = 1120.1(1), c = 1282.8(1) pm, β = 102.71(1)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.019.  相似文献

Formic acid is a common chemical raw material, the effective detection of which is of importance to food safety and environmental quality. In this work, the lanthanide functionalized dual-emission metal-organic framework (TH25) was prepared as a ratiometric fluorescent sensor for formic acid. This ratiometric sensor has a good detection performance with high selectivity, sensitivity, and reproducibility. Together with a low limit of detection of 2.1 ppm, these characters promise the ability to sense at low levels as well as a practical detection ability. This work provides ideas for the design and synthesis of effective chemical sensors for organic acids.  相似文献

研究了(蓖麻油-聚乙二醇)聚氨酯/聚(苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯-甲基丙烯酸)(PU/P(St-MMA-MAA))互穿聚合物网络(IPN).动态力学性能及透射电镜结果均表明该体系相分离较严重;IPN具有两个玻璃化转变温度,它们有不同程度的内移,形成一定程度分子水平的混合,而IPN(50/50)其分子混合水平较大,互穿缠结程度较高。形成IPN后,其力学性能得以改善。透射电镜结果表明,聚氨酯网的交联密度直接影响IPN的相区尺寸。形成IPN后热稳定性提高,易于降解断链的St-MMA-MAA单体起到了自由基消除剂的作用。  相似文献

0.01 mol/L Hepes, pH7.4,室温条件下,以酒石酸为脱除剂,监测铽(III) 与脱铁蛋白结合的两种配合物C端单铽转铁蛋白和N端单铽转铁蛋白随酒石酸浓度变 化的脱除动力学,根据其动力学行为,我们推测存在两种平行的脱除途径:一次途 径和饱和途径,其中C端单铽转铁蛋白的铽(III)脱除呈现饱和与一次相结合途径 ,N端单铽转铁蛋白为简单的一次途径。NaCl的加入可促进两种单铽(III)的脱除 ,且C端铽转铁蛋白较N端单铽转铁蛋白更易受NaCl的影响。  相似文献

The kinetics and mechanism of reduction of the surfactant complex ions, cis-chloro/bromo(dodecylamine)(triethylenetetramine)cobalt(III) by iron(II) in aqueous solution were studied at 303, 308 and 313 K by spectrophotometry under pseudo-first-order conditions using an excess of the reductant. The second-order rate constant increases with cobalt(III) concentration and the presence of aggregation of the complex itself alters the reaction rate. The reductions are acid-independent in the range [H+] = 0.05–0.25 mol dm−3. Variation of ionic strength (μ) influences the reaction rate. Activation and thermodynamic parameters have been computed. It is suggested that the reaction of Fe2+(aq) with the cobalt(III) complex proceeds by an inner-sphere mechanism. The critical micelle concentration (CMC) values of these surfactant metal complexes in aqueous solution were obtained from conductance measurements. Specific conductivity data (at 303, 308 and 313 K) served for the evaluation of the temperature-dependent CMC and the standard Gibbs energy of micellization (ΔGm0).  相似文献

The synthesis and polymerization of a series of perhaloalkyl allyl and vinyl ethers derived from perhaloketones is described. Data on the critical surface tension of wetting (γc) for high molecular weight polymers of heptafluoroisopropyl vinyl ether and low molecular weight poly(heptafluoroisopropyl allyl ether) is also presented. Preparation of the allyl ethers is a one-step, high-yield displacement reaction between the potassium fluoride–perhaloacetone adduct and an allyl halide, such as allyl bromide. The vinyl ethersare prepared by a two-step process which involves displacement of halide from a 1,2-dihaloethane with a KF–perhaloacetone adduct and dehydrohalogenation of the 1-halo-2-perhaloalkoxyethane to a vinyl ether. Low molecular weight polymers were obtained with heptafluoroisopropyl allyl ether by using a high concentration of a free-radical initiator. The low molecular weight poly(heptafluoroisopropyl allyl ether) had a γc of 21 dyne/cm. No polymer was obtained with tributylborane–oxygen or with VCl3–AIR3, with gamma radiation, or by exposure to ultraviolet light. High molecular weight polymers were obtained from heptafluoroisopropyl vinyl either by using either lauryl peroxide or ultraviolet light but not by exposure to BF3–etherate. The γc for poly(heptafluoroisopropyl vinyl ether) ranged from 14.2 to 14.6 dyne/cm., and the significance of this value is discussed in relation to the γc for poly(heptafluoroisopropyl acrylate).  相似文献
