研究当归、黄芪、鬼臼和猫人参的多糖对羟自由基的清除作用.采用分光光度法测定羟自由基清除率,并计算出半数清除率(IC50).当归多糖、黄芪多糖、鬼臼多糖对羟自由基的IC50分别为1.38 mg/mL、0.485 mg/mL、0.1 mg/mL,猫人参的最大清除率仅为36.84%.其清除能力鬼臼多糖>黄芪多糖>当归多糖>猫人参多糖.鬼臼多糖、黄芪多糖均具有较强的清除自由基作用,且清除能力与浓度呈明显的正相关.  相似文献

From the aerial parts of Salvia trichoclada Bentham and S. verticillata L. one new and two known phenolic acids, 3-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-hydroxymethyl propionic acid (1), 3-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl) lactic acid (2), and rosmarinic acid (3); two flavonoids, apigenin 4'-methyl ether 7-O-glucuronide (4), and luteolin 7-O-beta glucuronide (5); two lupan type triterpene aglycones, lupeol (6), and 30-hydroxylup-20 (29)-en-3-on (7); an oleanane-type triterpene acid, oleanolic acid (8); and an ursan-type triterpene acid, ursolic acid (9) were isolated. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. Different extracts of the plants were examined for their free radical scavenging activities by DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay. Some of the polar extracts showed high free radical scavenging activity.  相似文献

A known phenylethanoid glycoside, ehrenoside (1), was isolated together with three new phenylethanoid glycosides, verpectoside A (2), B (3) and C (4) from the aerial parts of Veronica pectinata var. glandulosa. On the basis of spectral analysis (UV, FAB-MS, 1H-, 13C- and 2D-NMR), compounds 2-4 were determined to be 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-(4-O-trans-feruloyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside, 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-(4-O-trans-caffeoyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside and 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-(4-O-trans-feruloyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside, respectively. Isolated phenylethanoid glycosides exhibited potent radical scavenging activity against the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical.  相似文献

在有机溶剂和缓冲溶液的混合体系中对4-溴苯酚的酶催化聚合反应进行了研究;利用红外光谱分析了产物的分子结构.结果表明,有机溶剂与缓冲溶液配比对反应产率和产物分子量影响较大.以乙醇为有机溶剂,当其与磷酸盐缓冲溶液(pH=7)体积比为1∶3时,反应产率较高,而聚合产物的分子量随反应体系中乙醇含量的增加呈上升趋势.与此同时,4-溴苯酚聚合物分子链含有苯-苯连接和苯-氧连接两种结构;4-溴苯酚聚合物的热分解温度在250℃左右,具有较好的热稳定性;且其对1,1-二苯基-2-三硝基苯肼(DPPH)自由基和2,2′-联氮双(3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸)二铵盐(ABTS)阳离子自由基均表现出明显的抑制作用.  相似文献

The efficacy of gamma irradiation as a method of decontamination for food and herbal materials is well established. In the present study, Glycyrrhiza glabra roots were irradiated at doses 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 kGy in a cobalt-60 irradiator. The irradiated and un-irradiated control samples were evaluated for phenolic contents, antimicrobial activities and DPPH scavenging properties. The result of the present study showed that radiation treatment up to 20 kGy does not affect the antifungal and antibacterial activity of the plant. While sample irradiated at 25 kGy does showed changes in the antibacterial activity against some selected pathogens. No significant differences in the phenolic contents were observed for control and samples irradiated at 5, 10 and 15 kGy radiation doses. However, phenolic contents increased in samples treated with 20 and 25 kGy doses. The DPPH scavenging activity significantly (p<0.05) increased in all irradiated samples of the plant.  相似文献

Due to the severe damage caused by free hydroxyl radicals (OH·) to cells and tissues, there is much interest in finding and studying effective and non-toxic OH· scavengers, including traditional Chinese herbs. In this paper, the simple and highly-sensitive technique of capillary zone electrophoresis with amperometric detection (CZE-AD) was used to study the OH· scavenging activities of aqueous extracts from some traditional Chinese herbs. Salicylic acid (SAL) was used as an OH· trap, and the content of OH· could be determined by assaying their products, 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid (2,3-DHBA) and 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (2,5-DHBA). The optimum conditions for CZE-AD for the determination of 2,3-DHBA and 2,5-DHBA were explored. The linearity ranges of 2,3-DHBA and 2,5-DHBA were 1.0 ×10–7~1.0 ×10–4 mol L–1, and their detection limits were as low as 2×10–8 mol L–1, which were much better than the CE-UV method often used. The traditional Chinese herbs studied included Radix angelicae sinensis, Rhizoma coptidis, Ligustrum lucidum, Ligusticum wallichii, Radices glycyrrhizae and Semen plantaginis. The experiments showed that the aqueous extracts from all of the above traditional Chinese herds had free OH· scavenging activities, although to different degrees.  相似文献

Antioxidant activity of erodiol was examined at the M05-2X/6-311+G(d,p) level of theory in the gas and aqueous phases. The structure and energy of radicals and anions of the most stable erodiol rotamer were analyzed. To estimate antioxidant potential of erodiol, different molecular properties were examined: bond dissociation enthalpy, proton affinity together with electron transfer energy, and ionization potential followed by proton dissociation enthalpy. It was found that hydrogen atom transfer is the prevailing mechanism of erodiol behavior in gas; whereas single electron transfer followed by proton transfer and sequential proton loss electron transfer mechanisms represent the thermodynamically preferred reaction paths in water.  相似文献

Antioxidant capacity of the methanolic extract of Alchemilla mollis was measured by its ability to scavenge the DPPH radical. The EtOAc fraction obtained after partition of the total extract was found to be the most active radical scavenger (IC50 9.8 +/- 1.8 microg/mL) and was subjected to fractionation by Sephadex LH-20 CC. Further purification by RP-18 CC led to the isolation of eight flavonoid glycosides: cis- and trans-tiliroside (1 and 2), rhodiolgin (3), hyperoside (4), isoquercitrin (5), miquelianin (6), sinocrassoside D2 (7), and gossypetin-3-O-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-7-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (8). It was found that 8 is a new compound and its antioxidant activity is also reported. Identification of the isolated compounds was carried out by spectroscopic and spectrometric analysis (1D and 2D NMR, UV and MS).  相似文献

Seventeen flavonoids including one new compound were isolated from Texas bluebonnet (Lupinus texensis), the state flower of Texas. Their structures were determined by extensive nuclear magnetic resonance and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry analyses. High-performance liquid chromatography analytic method for simultaneous determination of the 17 compounds was established and validated. Eleven isolated flavonoids were first evaluated for their free radical scavenging activity using α,α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl scavenging assay and they showed activity with EC(50) 48.6-172.5 μg mL(-1).  相似文献

Antioxidant and related properties of the plant Embelia ribes and embelin are well known. In the present study embelin was condensed with various aromatic substituted primary amines to yield ten new and one reported derivatives along with monomethyl embelin. All these compounds along with embelin were evaluated for in vitro antioxidant activity using 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzo-thiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) and 2,2'-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) methods. Two para-substituted embelin derivatives showed potent antioxidant activity. These compounds along with embelin were studied for analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities at 10 and 20 mg/kg doses by standard methods. Potent analgesic activity higher than the standard pentazocine was observed. Embelin and both of its derivatives almost completely abolished the acetic acid induced writhing. p-Sulfonylamine phenylamino derivative showed better anti-inflammatory activity than embelin.  相似文献

The free radical scavenging activity of hydroxytyrosol (HTyr) and tyrosol (Tyr) has been studied in aqueous and lipid solutions, using the density functional theory. Four mechanisms of reaction have been considered: single electron transfer (SET), sequential electron proton transfer (SEPT), hydrogen transfer (HT), and radical adduct formation. It was found that while SET and SEPT do not contribute to the overall reactivity of HTyr and Tyr toward ·OOH and ·OCH3 radicals, they can be important for their reactions with ·OH, ·OCCl3, and ·OOCCl3. The ·OOH-scavenging activity of HTyr and Tyr was found to take place exclusively by HT, and it is also predicted to be the main mechanism for their reactions with ·OCH3. HT is proposed as the main mechanism for the scavenging activity of HTyr and Tyr when reacting with other ·OR and ·OOR radicals, provided that R is an alkyl or an alkenyl group. The major products of reaction are predicted to be the phenoxyl radicals. In addition, Tyr was found to be less efficient than HTyr as free radical scavenger. Moreover, while HTyr is predicted to be a good peroxyl scavenger, Tyr is predicted to be only moderately for that purpose.  相似文献

The manganese(III) initiated oxidative free radical reaction between 2-amino-1,4-benzoquinones and benzoylacetonitriles is described. This free radical reaction provides a novel method for the synthesis of spirodione 3 and spirolactone 4. With 5,6-dimethyl-2-methylamino-1,4-benzoquinone, spirodione 3 was obtained exclusively. On the contrary, with 5-methyl-2-methylamino-1,4-benzoquinone, spirolactone 4 was produced in high chemo- and regioselectivity. By heating with sodium acetate, spirodione 3 can be converted to 4 effectively.  相似文献
