Nanoscale manganese oxides within Faujasite zeolite have been synthesized with a simple method and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction spectrometry, N(2) adsorption-desorption isotherms, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic absorption spectroscopy. These oxides showed efficient water oxidizing activity in the presence of cerium(iv) ammonium nitrate as a non-oxo transfer oxidant.  相似文献

Gels were synthesized from solutions of tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and aluminium nitrate (with and without manganese nitrate).The structural evolution of the gels as a function of manganese content and heat-treatment temperature was studied by visible spectrophotometry (VIS), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the presence of manganese can induce mullitization at lower temperatures. However, the effect of manganese depends on its content and how it enters into the mullite structure.  相似文献

以pH响应型微凝胶为模板制备出了二氧化锰空心球材料,并利用XRD、TGA、SEM、FT—IR和TEM等手段对其进行了表征.结果表明,通过调节KMn04的用量可以有效控制二氧化锰空心球的球壳厚度.对洗脱后上层清夜中的pH响应型微凝胶进一步研究发现,部分微凝胶呈现出非可逆的膨胀一收缩转变,这一现象主要是由于其内部的交联程度不高造成的.在对表征结果进行分析后提出了空心球结构的形成机理.  相似文献

Manganese oxides have been prepared on the surface of carbon fiber by simple methods: coprecipitation of manganese salts of different valence in the presence of fiber as a support or electrodeposition from Mn(II) salt solution on a carbon fiber cathode, in the presence of chitosan including, under oxidation with air oxygen conditions. The obtained samples have been characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Sorption properties of the composites toward As(V) have been studied. The relationships between sorption properties, structure, Mn valence, and manganese oxide surface morphology have been discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we report a versatile synthetic method of ordered rare-earth metal (RE) oxide nanotubes. RE (RE=Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb) oxide nanotubes were successfully prepared from corresponding RE nitrate solution via the sol-gel method assisted with porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution TEM, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been employed to characterize the morphology and composition of the as-prepared nanotubes. It is found that as-prepared RE oxides evolve into bamboo-like nanotubes and entirely hollow nanotubes. A new possible formation mechanism of RE oxide nanotubes in the AAO channels is proposed. These high-quantity RE oxide nanotubes are expected to have promising applications in many areas such as luminescent materials, catalysts, magnets, etc.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline manganese-doped zinc oxide was synthesized by thermal decomposition of a zinc oxide sol with two new dinuclear manganese(III) complexes as precursor. Thermal analysis results indicated that the decomposition of manganese precursors occurred at 269 and 314 °C. X-ray structural analysis shows the presence of dimanganese core in the complexes and the binding of the ligands to the manganese(III) is through N2O2. The manganese-doped zinc oxide composite was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. Structural properties of the composites elucidated that the manganese ions have substituted the zinc ions without changing the wurtzite structure of zinc oxide.  相似文献

Nano-sized layered aluminium or zinc-manganese oxides were synthesized and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction spectrometry, dynamic light scattering and atomic absorption spectroscopy. These oxides showed efficient water oxidizing activity in the presence of cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate as a non-oxo transfer oxidant. Amounts of dissolved manganese, zinc or aluminium, and water oxidation activities of these oxides were reported and compared with other manganese oxides. Nanostructured spherical spinel lithium manganese oxide (LiMnO) with about 200 nm in diameter was synthesized for the first time by mild hydrothermal method. The formation of the nanostructured spheres was through self-assembly of the nanoparticles and nanobelts. The influence of the reaction temperature and the time of formation of the nanostructures have been systematically studied. The thermal stability of the nanostructures has been examined by heating-treatment at different temperatures. Powder X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy were used to characterize the products.  相似文献

以Mg(NO3)2和Ni(NO3)2为原料,用甘氨酸作为氧化剂,采用燃烧法制备约50nm的混合金属氧化物前躯体,再在H2气氛保护下的管式炉中用CaH2还原制备MgNi2合金。利用X-射线粉末衍射仪、透射电子显微镜、扫描电子显微镜对样品的成分、晶体结构和形貌进行了分析,产品为粒度200nm左右的单相MgNi2合金粉末。制备MgNi2合金的最佳反应温度为850℃,反应时间为3h,制备混合氧化物前驱体时甘氨酸和硝酸根(Gly/NO3^-)的最佳配比为0.15。  相似文献

A preparative technique based on the gelation of a microemulsion has provided a means of homogeneously dispersing high concentrations of metal oxide precursor salts through silica gel. The microstructures and compositions of gels containing combinations of lithium and manganese nitrate, and of the multiphase materials obtained by firing to a range of temperatures up to 1000°C, have been established. Formation of the mixed metal oxide spinel phase LiMn2O4 within a silica support has been obtained for systems comprising from 10 to 30 wt% metal nitrate by heating to temperatures between 500 and 700°C.  相似文献

We report a chemical solution based method using nanoporous track-etched polymer templates for producing long and oriented LaSr-2 × 4 manganese oxide molecular sieve nanowires. Scanning transmission electron microscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy analyses show that the nanowires are ferromagnetic at room temperature, single crystalline, epitaxially grown and self-aligned.  相似文献

A silver oxide hydrosol has been prepared by reacting silver nitrate with sodium hydroxide in an aqueous solution. The colloidal particle composition and particle size have been characterized by X-ray diffractometry and transmittance electron microscopy. We have demonstrated that the sol is surface-enhanced Raman scattering active. One major advantage of this sol is the absence of the spectral interference arising from reaction products of the sol formation process. The mechanism of surface-enhanced Raman scattering activity is essentially contributed by the silver particles generated from the photochemical process during the laser excitation.  相似文献

MnO and Mn2O3 nanoparticles were prepared in air and argon atmosphere by thermal decomposition of nanocrystalline manganese carbonate synthesized by reaction of manganese(II) nitrate with glycerol. Samples were characterized using transmission electron microscopy, simultaneous thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis. Average sizes of prepared nanoparticles were calculated from XRD patterns using Scherrer equation. Also, the conditions for decomposition of manganese carbonate were optimized to obtain optimal nanoparticle sizes. Due to suitable sizes of prepared nanoparticles and the initial material, this method can be used in a wide range of industrial applications.  相似文献

Photocatalytic oxidation of glycerol at ambient conditions has been investigated with the use of Zinc oxide photocatalysts. Zinc oxide nanorods were prepared via a simple hydrothermal method using zinc nitrate and sodium hydroxide in the solution pH of 7, 8 and 9. The samples prepared in this way were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) and ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy (UV–vis). The pH of the solution is 7, the sample contains zinc hydroxide nitrate hydrated. When the pH of solution was adjusted to 8 and 9, the samples consisted of pure hexagonal wurtzite ZnO without impurity detection. The influence of solution pH on hydrogen formation was investigated. The wurtzite ZnO nanorods synthesized in a solution with pH 9 are considered promising photocatalysts for hydrogen production under xenon radiation.  相似文献

Present study describes the synthesis of mixed oxide films of manganese and vanadium by electrochemical pulsed deposition technique on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT). The film was further decorated with gold nanoparticles to enhance the reduction signal of dissolved oxygen in pH 5.17 acetate buffer solution. All of the electrochemical synthesized modified electrodes have been characterized with Scanning electron microscopy(SEM), High‐resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X‐Ray diffraction (XRD) techniques. The electrode obtained (AuNPs/MnOx?VOx/CNT/GCE) was utilized as a platform for glucose biosensor where the glucose oxidase enzyme was immobilized on the composite film with the aid of chitosan and an ionic liquid. The electrochemical performance of the biosensor was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and the relative parameters have been optimized by amperometric measurements in pH 5.17 acetate buffer solution. The developed biosensor exhibited a linear range for glucose between 0.1–1.0 mM and the limit of detection was calculated as 0.02 mM.  相似文献

Magnetic manganese oxide nanostructures are fabricated at room temperature by mixing a KMnO(4) solution and oleic acid capped Fe(3)O(4) particles. Oleic acid molecules capped Fe(3)O(4) particles are oxidized by potassium permanganate (KMnO(4)) in an aqueous solution to produce porous magnetic manganese oxide nanostructures. The synthesis technique can be extended to other MnO(x) structures with composition of different nanocrystals, such as quantum dots, noble metal crystals which may have important applications as catalysts, adsorbents, electrodes and advanced materials in many scientific disciplines. Transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements are employed to characterize the structures. As an adsorbent in water treatment, the nanostructures possess a large adsorption capability and high organic pollutant removal rates due to the large surface area and pore volume. The nanostructures are recyclable as their adsorption capability can be recovered by combustion. Furthermore, the strong magnetism exhibited by the structures provides an easy and efficient separation means in wastewater treatment under an external magnetic field.  相似文献

The formation of homogeneous monolithic gels by the addition of TEOS to acidic amphiphilic solutions has been investigated for a range of nonionic surfactants, and the relationships between solution composition and gelation examined. Using the surfactant solutions as a means of pre-doping the matrices with high concentrations of manganese nitrate gave gels which could be calcined to 400°C with little or no segregation of manganese oxide observed by X-ray diffraction. X-ray absorption spectroscopy has shown that the ligand environment of manganese in the silica-surfactant matrices differs from that in gels derived from ethanol solutions, and that most of the manganese in the calcined gels remains in a disordered environment.  相似文献
