Spontaneous potential well-logging is one of the important techniques in petroleum exploitation. A spontaneous potential satisfies an elliptic equivalued surface boundary value problem with diseontinuous interface conditlons. In practice, the measuring electrode is so small that we can simplify the corresponding equivalued surface to a point. In this paper, we give a positive answer to this approximation process: when the equivalued surface shrinks to a point, the solution of the original equivalued surface boundary value problem converges to the solution of the corresponding limit boundary value problem.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the existence of insensitizing controls for the parabolic equation with equivalued surface boundary conditions. The insensitizing problem consists in finding a control function such that some energy functional of the equation is locally insensitive to a perturbation of the initial data. As usual, this problem can be reduced to a partially null controllability problem for a cascade system of two parabolic equations with equivalued surface boundary conditions. Compared the problems with usual boundary conditions, in the present case we need to derive a new global Carleman estimate, for which, in particular one needs to construct a new weight function to match the equivalued surface boundary conditions.  相似文献

The paper deals with convolution type integral equations of the first kind. For exact solutions it is typical that the solutions are discontinuous or unbounded. The aim of the paper is to construct approximate solutions which may also be discontinuous or unbounded. A priori information about the solution and estimates for the approximate solutions, as well as for the differences between the approximate solution and the exact one, are given in terms of Nikol'skii-Besov spaces with differentiation of fractional orders. This paper is aimed at finding asymptotic formulas for solutions to the mixed boundary problem for the Poisson equation in a domain obtained by joining singularly degenerating domains. In this paper, which is the second part of the work (the first part was published in No. 18), the main attention is given to three-dimensional problems in which a thin plate or a periodic family of thin rods is joined to a massive body (the distances between the rods are comparable with the diameters of their cross-sections). The paper deals with the existence of nontrivial nonnegative generalized solutions to a broad class of second-order differential inequalities in the line as well as to some classes of inequalities involving differential operators contained in the nonstationary filtration-type equations. The results obtained are related to the uniqueness of nonnegative solutions to the Cauchy problem for the nonstationary filtration-type equations. In this paper we investigate zero-sum two-player stochastic differential games whose cost functionals are given by doubly controlled reflected backward stochastic differential equations (RBSDEs) with two barriers. For admissible controls which can depend on the whole past and so include, in particular, information occurring before the beginning of the game, the games are interpreted as games of the type “admissible strategy” against “admissible control”, and the associated lower and upper value functions are studied. A priori random, they are shown to be deterministic, and it is proved that they are the unique viscosity solutions of the associated upper and the lower Bellman–Isaacs equations with two barriers, respectively. For the proofs we make full use of the penalization method for RBSDEs with one barrier and RBSDEs with two barriers. For this end we also prove new estimates for RBSDEs with two barriers, which are sharper than those in Hamadène, Hassani (Probab Theory Relat Fields 132:237–264, 2005). Furthermore, we show that the viscosity solution of the Isaacs equation with two reflecting barriers not only can be approximated by the viscosity solutions of penalized Isaacs equations with one barrier, but also directly by the viscosity solutions of penalized Isaacs equations without barrier. The time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations with leak boundary conditions are investigated in this paper. The equivalent variational inequality is derived, and the weak and strong solvabilities of this variational inequality are obtained by the Galerkin approximation method and the regularized method. In addition, the continuous dependence property of solutions on given initial data is establisbed, from which the strong solution is unique.  相似文献

The stationary and nonstationary rotating Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions are investigated in this paper. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions are obtained by the Galerkin approximation method. Next, θ-scheme of operator splitting algorithm is applied to rotating Navier-Stokes equations and two subproblems are derived. The finite time blow-up of solutions to a nonlinear Timoshenko-type equation with variable exponents is studied. More concretely, we prove that the solutions blow up in finite time with positive initial energy. Also, the existence of finite time blow-up solutions with arbitrarily high initial energy is established. Meanwhile, the upper and lower bounds of the blow-up time are derived. These results deepen and generalize the ones obtained in [Nonlinear Anal. Real World Appl., 61: Paper No. 103341, 2021].  相似文献

The paper deals with several problems having the following common feature. The differential equation under consideration contains a power function of the solution or of its gradient, with the exponent depending on a small parameter. This dependence is such that a certain property of the solutions corresponding to the positive values of the parameter may disappear as the latter tends to zero. This phenomenon is shown to be lacking in the case where not only the said exponent, but also the coefficients of the equation depend on the small parameter in a suitable way. Several theorems are proved on sharp conditions, ensuring such uniformity of various properties exhibited by the solutions. Bibliography: 44 titles.
