Three supramolecular materials based on different poly(oxomolybdophosphate) clusters, (H(2)imi)(6)(Himi)(4)[{Sr(H(2)O)(4)}(2){Sr ? P(6)Mo(4)(V)Mo(14)(VI)O(73)}(2)]·17H(2)O (1), (H(2)(4,4'-bpy))(2)[Cu(2)Sr(2)Mo(12)O(24)·(OH)(6)(H(2)O)(6)(H(2)PO(4))(2)(HPO(4))(2)(PO(4))(4)]·5H(2)O (2), and (H(2)bim)(H(2)bim)[SrP(2)Mo(5)O(23)(H(2)O)(3)]·2H(2)O (3) (imi = imidazole, 4,4'-bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine, and bim = 2,2'-biimidazole), have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by the elemental analysis, TG, IR, UV-vis, XPS and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 is made up of unusual basket-shape [Sr ? P(6)Mo(18)O(73)](10-) cages linked by [Sr(H(2)O)(4)](2+) fragments to yield unprecedented dimeric chains, which represent the first 1-D assemblies of basket-type POMs. Compound 2 exhibits a novel string constructed from sandwich-like [Cu(P(4)Mo(6)O(31))(2)] units and {Sr(2)Cu} trinuclear linkers. Compound 3 is the first chain of Strandberg-type polyoxoanions connected by Sr(2+) cations. All the 1-D chains are further packed into various 3-D supramolecular assemblies via strong hydrogen-bonding interactions. The electrochemical and electrocatalysis behavior of 1, 2, and 3-CPE have been investigated in detail.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and characterization of five novel Mo-containing polyoxometalate (POM) bisphosphonate complexes with nuclearities ranging from 4 to 12 and with fully reduced, fully oxidized, or mixed-valent (Mo(V), Mo(VI)) molybdenum, in which the bisphosphonates bind to the POM cluster through their two phosphonate groups and a deprotonated 1-OH group. The compounds were synthesized in water by treating [Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) or [Mo(VI)O(4)](2-) with H(2)O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(2))OPO(3)H(2) (alendronic acid) or its aminophenol derivative, and were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and (31)P NMR spectroscopy. (NH(4))(6)[(Mo(V)(2)O(4))(Mo(VI)(2)O(6))(2)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(2)]·12H(2)O (1) is an insoluble mixed-valent species. [(C(2)H(5))(2)NH(2)](4)[Mo(V)(4)O(8)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(2)]·6H(2)O (2) and [(C(2)H(5))(2)NH(2)](6)[Mo(V)(4)O(8)(O(3)PC(C(10)H(14)NO)OPO(3))(2)]·18H(2)O (4) contain similar tetranuclear reduced frameworks. Li(8)[(Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O))(4)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(4)]·45H(2)O (3) and Na(2)Rb(6)[(Mo(VI)(3)O(8))(4)(O(3)PC(C(3)H(6)NH(3))OPO(3))(4)]·26H(2)O (5) are alkali metal salts of fully reduced octanuclear and fully oxidized dodecanuclear POMs, respectively. The activities of 2-5 (which are water-soluble) against three human tumor cell lines were investigated in vitro. Although 2-4 have weak but measurable activity, 5 has IC(50) values of about 10 μM, which is about four times the activity of the parent alendronate molecule on a per-alendronate basis, which opens up the possibility of developing novel drug leads based on Mo bisphosphonate clusters.  相似文献

The reactions of (NH(4))(2)Mo(2)O(7)·2H(2)O with polyhydroxy phenols (catechol or 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene) and ethylenediamine (en), trimethylenediamine (tn), 1,2-propanediamine (pn), triethylamine (Et(3)N) respectively, in the mixed-solvent of MeCN-EtOH-amine, have resulted in five molybdenum(VI) complexes, (enH(2))[Mo(VI)O(3)(cat)(en)] (1), (tnH(2))[Mo(VI)O(3)(cat)(tn)] (2), (enH)(2)[Mo(VI)O(2)(cat)(2)](en)(0.5) (3), (pnH(2))(2)[Mo(VI)O(2)(cat)(2)] (4) and (HNEt(3))(2)[Mo(VI)O(2)(C(10)H(8)O(2))(2)] (5), of which the structural features were investigated by X-ray diffraction. MTT assay tests indicated that their inhibition ratios against human cancer cells decreased in the order: (1) ≈ (2) > (3) ≈ (4) > (5), i.e. the activities decreased when the chelation number or the size of the aromatic ligand increased, which was consistent with the Gibbs free energies (ΔG) determined from theoretical computations by Gaussian 03. The mechanisms behind this trend were discussed preliminarily.  相似文献

We have synthesized and structurally characterized three pyridylethylidene-functionalized diphosphonate-containing polyoxomolybdates, [{Mo(VI)O(3)}(2){Mo(V)(2)O(4)}{HO(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(2)](6-) (1), [{Mo(VI)(2)O(6)}(2){Mo(V)(2)O(4)}{O(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(2)](8-) (2), and [{Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)}(4){O(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(4)](12-) (3). Polyanions 1-3 were prepared in a one-pot reaction of the dinuclear, dicationic {Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)(6)}(2+) with 1-hydroxo-2-(3-pyridyl)ethylidenediphosphonate (Risedronic acid) in aqueous solution. Polyanions 1 and 2 are mixed-valent Mo(VI/V) species with open tetranuclear and hexanuclear structures, respectively, containing two diphosphonate groups. Polyanion 3 is a cyclic octanuclear structure based on four {Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)} units and four diphosphonates. Polyanions 1 and 2 crystallized as guanidinium salts [C(NH(2))(3)](5)H[{Mo(VI)O(3)}(2){Mo(V)(2)O(4)}{HO(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(2)]·13H(2)O (1a) and [C(NH(2))(3)](6)H(2)[{Mo(VI)(2)O(6)}(2){Mo(V)(2)O(4)}{O(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(2)]·10H(2)O (2a), whereas polyanion 3 crystallized as a mixed sodium-guanidinium salt, Na(8)[C(NH(2))(3)](4)[{Mo(V)(2)O(4)(H(2)O)}(4){O(3)PC(O)(CH(2)-3-C(5)NH(4))PO(3)}(4)]·8H(2)O (3a). The compounds were characterized in the solid state by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric and elemental analyses. The formation of polyanions 1 and 3 is very sensitive to the pH value of the reaction solution, with exclusive formation of 1 above pH 7.4 and 3 below pH 6.6. Detailed solution studies by multinuclear NMR spectrometry were performed to study the equilibrium between these two compounds. Polyanion 2 was insoluble in all common solvents. Detailed computational studies on the solution phases of 1 and 3 indicated the stability of these polyanions in solution, in complete agreement with the experimental findings.  相似文献

The Cu(SO(3))(4)(7-) anion, which consists of a tetrahedrally coordinated Cu(I) centre coordinated to four sulfur atoms, is able to act as a multidentate ligand in discrete and infinite supramolecular species. The slow oxidation of an aqueous solution of Na(7)Cu(SO(3))(4) yields a mixed oxidation state, 2D network of composition Na(5){[Cu(II)(H(2)O)][Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)]}·6H(2)O. The addition of Cu(II) and 2,2'-bipyridine to an aqueous Na(7)Cu(SO(3))(4) solution leads to the formation of a pentanuclear complex of composition {[Cu(II)(H(2)O)(bipy)](4)[Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)]}(+); a combination of hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking interactions leads to the generation of infinite parallel channels that are occupied by disordered nitrate anions and water molecules. A pair of Cu(SO(3))(4)(7-) anions each act as a tridentate ligand towards a single Mn(II) centre when Mn(II) ions are combined with an excess of Cu(SO(3))(4)(7-). An anionic pentanuclear complex of composition {[Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)](2)[Fe(III)(H(2)O)](3)(O)} is formed when Fe(II) is added to a Cu(+)/SO(3)(2-) solution. Hydrated ferrous [Fe(H(2)O)(6)(2+)] and sodium ions act as counterions for the complexes and are responsible for the formation of an extensive hydrogen bond network within the crystal. Magnetic susceptibility studies over the temperature range 2-300 K show that weak ferromagnetic coupling occurs within the Cu(II) containing chains of Na(5){[Cu(II)(H(2)O)][Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)]}·6H(2)O, while zero coupling exists in the pentanuclear cluster {[Cu(II)(H(2)O)(bipy)](4)[Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)]}(NO(3))·H(2)O. Weak Mn(II)-O-S-O-Mn(II) antiferromagnetic coupling occurs in Na(H(2)O)(6){[Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)][Mn(II)(H(2)O)(2)](3)}, the latter formed when Mn was in excess during synthesis. The compound, Na(3)(H(2)O)(6)[Fe(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2){[Cu(I)(SO(3))(4)](2)[Fe(III)(H(2)O)](3)(O)}·H(2)O, contained trace magnetic impurities that affected the expected magnetic behaviour.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reaction of H(3)PO(3), CH(3)NH(2), zinc(II) acetate, 4,4'-bipyridine (bipy), and (NH(4))(6)Mo(7)O(24).4H(2)O at 180 degrees C led to a novel organic-inorganic layered hybrid, [CH(3)NH(3)][H(2)bipy][Zn(4)(bipy)(3)(H(2)O)(2)Mo(V)(8)Mo(VI)O(36)(PO(4))].4H(2)O (1). Its structure was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with cell parameters of a = 17.3032(2), b = 17.8113(3), and c = 23.4597 (4) A, beta = 106.410(1) degrees, V = 6935.6(2) A(3), and Z = 4. The structure of compound 1 features a novel 2D layer built from the 8e-reduced tetracapped Keggin [Zn(4)Mo(12)O(36)(PO(4))](3)(-) anions, which are further interconnected by bridging bipy ligands. The four zinc(II) ions are in tetrahedral, trigonal bipyramidal, and octahedral coordination geometries, respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in aqueous solution with 2 equiv of AgBF(4) or AgSbF(6) and then with 2 equiv of 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine (4,4'-dtbipy), or 4,4'-di-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine (4,4'-dmbipy) affords compounds of the general formula cis-[V(IV)O(OH)(L(NN))(2)]Y [where L(NN) = bipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (1), L(NN) = 4,4'-dtbipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (2.1.2H(2)O), L(NN) = 4,4'-dmbipy, Y = BF(4)(-) (3.2H(2)O), and L(NN) = 4,4'-dtbipy, Y = SbF(6)(-) (4)]. Sequential addition of 1 equiv of Ba(ClO(4))(2) and then of 2 equiv of bipy to an aqueous solution containing 1 equiv of V(IV)OSO(4).5H(2)O yields cis-[V(IV)O(OH)(bipy)(2)]ClO(4) (5). The monomeric compounds 1-5 contain the cis-[V(IV)O(OH)](+) structural unit. Reaction of 1 equiv of V(IV)OSO(4).5H(2)O in water and of 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in ethanol with 2 equiv of bipy gives the compounds cis-[V(IV)O(OSO(3))(bipy)(2)].CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O (6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O) and cis-[V(IV)OCl(bipy)(2)]Cl (7), respectively, while reaction of 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)] in CH(2)Cl(2) with 2 equiv of 4,4'-dtbipy gives the compound cis-[V(IV)OCl(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]Cl.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) (8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2)). Compounds cis-[V(IV)O(BF(4))(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]BF(4) (9), cis-[V(IV)O(BF(4))(4,4'-dmbipy)(2)]BF(4) (10), and cis-[V(IV)O(SbF(6))(4,4'-dtbipy)(2)]SbF(6) (11) were synthesized by sequential addition of 2 equiv of 4,4'-dtbipy or 4,4'-dmbipy and 2 equiv of AgBF(4) or AgSbF(6) to a dichloromethane solution containing 1 equiv of [V(IV)OCl(2)(THF)(2)]. The crystal structures of 2.1.2H(2)O, 6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O, and 8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) were demonstrated by X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data are as follows: Compound 2.1.2H(2)O crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with (at 298 K) a = 21.62(1) A, b = 13.33(1) A, c = 27.25(2) A, V = 7851(2) A(3), Z = 8. Compound 6.CH(3)OH.1.5H(2)O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/a with (at 298 K) a = 12.581(4) A, b = 14.204(5) A, c = 14.613(6) A, beta = 114.88(1) degrees, V = 2369(1), Z = 4. Compound 8.0.5CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pca2(1) with (at 298 K) a = 23.072(2) A, b = 24.176(2) A, c = 13.676(1) A, V = 7628(2) A(3), Z = 8 with two crystallographically independent molecules per asymmetric unit. In addition to the synthesis and crystallographic studies, we report the optical, infrared, magnetic, conductivity, and CW EPR properties of these oxovanadium(IV) compounds as well as theoretical studies on [V(IV)O(bipy)(2)](2+) and [V(IV)OX(bipy)(2)](+/0) species (X = OH(-), SO(4)(2)(-), Cl(-)).  相似文献

We investigate the reactivity of MoO(4)(2-) toward six organoammonium cations (+)(Me(3-x)H(x)N)(CH(2))(2)(NH(y)Me(3-y))(+) (x, y = 1-3) at different synthesis temperatures ranging from 70 to 180 °C. A total of 16 hybrid organic-inorganic materials have been synthesized at an initial pH of 2, via ambient pressure and hydrothermal routes, namely, (H(2)en)[Mo(3)O(10)]·H(2)O (1), (H(2)en)[Mo(3)O(10)] (2), (H(2)en)[Mo(5)O(16)] (3), (H(2)MED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·2H(2)O (4), (H(2)MED)[Mo(5)O(16)] (5), (N,N-H(2)DMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·2H(2)O (6), (N,N-H(2)DMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·2H(2)O (7), (N,N'-H(2)DMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)] (8), (N,N'-H(2)DMED)[Mo(5)O(16)] (9), (H(2)TriMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·4H(2)O (10), (H(2)TriMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·2H(2)O (11), (H(2)TriMED)[Mo(7)O(22)] (12), (H(2)TMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)]·2H(2)O (13), (H(2)TMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)] (14), (H(2)TMED)(2)[Mo(8)O(26)] (15), and (H(2)TMED)[Mo(7)O(22)] (16). All of these compounds contain different polyoxomolybdate (Mo-POM) blocks, i.e., discrete β-[Mo(8)O(26)](4-) blocks in 6, 10, 13, 14, (1)/(∞)[Mo(3)O(10)](2-), and (1)/(∞)[Mo(8)O(26)](4-) polymeric chains in 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, and 15, respectively, and (2)/(∞)[Mo(5)O(16)](2-) and (2)/(∞)[Mo(7)O(22)](2-) layers in 3, 5, 9, 12, and 16, respectively. The structures of 5, 9, and 14 have been resolved by single-crystal X-ray analyses. The characterization of the different Mo-POM blocks in 1-16 by Fourier transform Raman spectroscopy is reported. The impact of the synthesis temperature on both the composition and topology of the Mo-POM blocks is highlighted.  相似文献

Reaction of NH4VO3 with sulfur dioxide affords the hexanuclear cluster (NH4)2(Et4N)[(V(IV)O)6(mu4-O)2(mu3-OH)2(mu3-SO3)4(H2O)2]Cl x H2O (1), and the decapentanuclear host-guest compound (Et4N)5{Cl subset [(VO)15(mu3-O)18(mu-O)3]} x 3 H2O (2). Sequential addition of magnesium oxide to an acidic aqueous solution of NH4VO3 (pH approximately 0) followed by (NH4)2SO3 resulted in the formation of either the non-oxo polymeric vanadium(IV) compound trans-(NH4)2[V(IV)(OH)2(mu-SO3)2] (3) or the polymeric oxovanadium(IV) sulfite (NH4)[V(IV)O(SO3)1.5(H2O)] x 2.5 H2O (4) at pH values of 6 and 4, respectively. The decameric vanadium(V) compound {Na4(mu-H2O)8(H2O)6}[Mg(H2O)6][V(V)10(O)8(mu6-O)2(mu3-O)14] x 3 H2O (5) was synthesised by treating an acidic aqueous solution of NH4VO3 with MgO and addition of NaOH to pH approximately 6. All the compounds were characterised by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. The crystal structure of compound 1 revealed an unprecedented structural motif of a cubane unit [M4(mu4-O)2(mu3-OH)2] connected to two other metal atoms. Compound 3 comprises a rare example of a non-oxo vanadium(IV) species isolated from aqueous solution and in the presence of the reducing agent SO3(2-), while compound 4 represents a rare example of an open-framework species isolated at room temperature (20 degrees C). In addition to the synthesis and crystallographic studies, we report the IR and magnetic properties (for 1, 2 and 3) of these vanadium clusters as well as theoretical studies on compound 3.  相似文献

Reactions of the complex [MoCl(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (1) (phen=1,10-phenanthroline) with potassium arylamides were used to synthesize the amido complexes [Mo(N(R)Ar)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (R=H, Ar=Ph, 2 a; R=H, Ar=p-tolyl, 2 b; R=Me, Ar=Ph; 2 c). For 2 b the Mo-N(amido) bond length (2.105(4) A) is consistent with it being a single bond, with which the metal attains an 18-electron configuration. The reaction of 2 b with HOTf affords the amino complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(NH(2)(p-tol))(CO)(2)(phen)]OTf (3-OTf). Treatment of 3-OTf with nBuLi or KN(SiMe(3))(2) regenerates 2 b. The new amido complexes react with CS(2), arylisothiocyanates and maleic anhydride. A single product corresponding to the formal insertion of the electrophile into the Mo-N(amido) bond is obtained in each case. For maleic anhydride, ring opening accompanied the formation of the insertion product. The reaction of 2 b with maleimide affords [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[NC(O)CH=CHC(O)](CO)(2)(phen)] (7), which results from simple acid-base metathesis. The reaction of 2 b with (p-tol)NCO affords [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](2)(eta(2)-MoO(4))] (8), which corresponds to oxidation of one third of the metal atoms to Mo(VI). Complex 8 was also obtained in the reactions of 2 b with CO(2) or the lactide 3,6-dimethyl-1,4-dioxane-2,5-dione. The structures of the compounds 2 b, 3-OTf, [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[SC(S)(N(H)Ph)](CO)(2)(phen)] (4), [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[SC(N(p-tol))(NH(p-tol))](CO)(2)(phen)] (5 a), and [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[OC(O)CH=CHC(O)(NH(p-tol))](CO)(2)(phen)] (6), 7, and 8 (both the free complex and its N,N'-di(p-tolyl)urea adduct) were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

A comprehensive study of the isomer-independent synthesis of TRIS ((HOCH(2))(3)CNH(2)) Mn-Anderson compounds from Na(2)MoO(4)·2H(2)O, via the corresponding octamolybdate species, is presented. Three octamolybdate salts of [Mo(8)O(26)](4-) in the β-isomer form, with tetramethylammonium (TMA), tetraethylammonium (TEA) and tetrapropylammonium (TPA) as the counter cation, were synthesised from the sodium molybdate starting material. Fine white powdery products for the three compounds were obtained, which were fully characterised by elemental analysis, TGA, solution and solid state Raman, IR and ESI-MS, revealing a set ratio of Na and organic cations for each of the three compounds; (TMA)(2)Na(2)[Mo(8)O(26)] (1), (TEA)(3)Na(1)[Mo(8)O(26)] (2) and (TPA)(2)Na(2)[Mo(8)O(26)] (3), and the analyses also confirmed that the three compounds all consisted of the octamolybdate in the β-isomeric form. ESI-MS analyses of 1, 2 and 3 show similar fragmentation for these β-isomers compared to the previously reported study for the α-isomer ((TBA)(4)[α-Mo(8)O(26)]) (A) in the synthesis of ((TBA)(3)[MnMo(6)O(18)((OCH(2))(3)CNH(2))(2)]) (B), and compounds 1, 2 and 3 were successfully used to synthesise equivalent TRIS Mn-Anderson compounds: (TMA)(3)[MnMo(6)O(18)((OCH(2))(3)CNH(2))(2)] (4), (TEA)(3)[MnMo(6)O(18)((OCH(2))(3)CNH(2))(2)] (5) and (TPA)(2)Na(1)[MnMo(6)O(18)((OCH(2))(3)CNH(2))(2)] (6), as well as Na(3)[MnMo(6)O(18)((OCH(2))(3)CNH(2))(2)] (7). This is the first example where symmetric organically-grafted Mn-Anderson compounds have been synthesised in DMF from anything but the {Mo(8)O(26)} α-isomer.  相似文献

The spectroscopic and photophysical properties of [Ru(bpy)(3)](2)[[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(3))(2)], where bpy is 2,2'-bipyridyl and [Mo(18)O(54)(SO(3))(2)](4-) is either the α or β-sulfite containing polyoxomolybdate isomer, have been measured and compared with those for the well known but structurally distinct sulfate analogue, α-[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(4))(2)](4-). Electronic difference spectroscopy revealed the presence of new spectral features around 480 nm, although they are weak in comparison with the [Ru(bpy)(3)](2)[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(4))(2)] analogue. Surprisingly, Stern-Volmer plots of [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+) luminescence quenching by the polyoxometallate revealed the presence of both static and dynamic quenching for both α and β-[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(3))(2)](4-). The association constant inferred for the ion cluster [Ru(bpy)(3)](2)α-[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(4))(2)] is K = 5.9 ± 0.56 × 10(6) and that for [Ru(bpy)(3)](2)β-[Mo(18)O(54)(SO(4))(2)] is K = 1.0 ± 0.09 × 10(7). Unlike the sulfate polyoxometalates, both sulfite polyoxometalate-ruthenium adducts are non-luminescent. Despite the strong electrostatic association in the adducts resonance Raman and photoelectrochemical studies suggests that unlike the sulfato polyoxometalate analogue there is no sensitization of the polyoxometalate photochemistry by the ruthenium centre for the sulfite anions. In addition, the adducts exhibit photochemical lability in acetonitrile, attributable to decomposition of the ruthenium complex, which has not been observed for other [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+) -polyoxometalate adducts. These observations suggest that less electronic communication exists between the [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+) and the sulfite polyoxoanions relative to their sulfate polyoxoanion counterparts, despite their structural and electronic analogy. The main distinction between sulfate and sulfite polyoxometalates lies in their reversible reduction potentials, which are more positive by approximately 100 mV for the sulfite anions. This suggests that the capacity for [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+) or analogues to sensitize photoreduction in the adducts of polyoxometalates requires very sensitive redox tuning.  相似文献

Well-known vanadium(IV)- and vanadium(V)-citrate complexes have been employed in transformations involving vanadium redox as well as nonredox processes. The employed complexes include K(2)[V(2)O(4)(C(6)H(6)O(7))(2)] x 4H(2)O, K(4)[V(2)O(4)(C(6)H(5)O(7))(2)] x 5.6H(2)O, K(2)[V(2)O(2)(O(2))(2)(C(6)H(6)O(7))(2)] x 2H(2)O, K(4)[V(2)O(2)(C(6)H(4)O(7))(2)] x 6H(2)O, K(3)[V(2)O(2)(C(6)H(4)O(7))(C(6)H(5)O(7))] x 7H(2)O, (NH(4))(4)[V(2)O(2)(C(6)H(4)O(7))(2)] x 2H(2)O, and (NH(4))(6)[V(2)O(4)(C(6)H(4)O(7))(2)] x 6H(2)O. Reactions toward hydrogen peroxide at different vanadium(IV,V):H(2)O(2) ratios were crucial in delineating the routes leading to the interconversion of the various species. Equally important thermal transformations were critical in showing the linkage between pairs of dinuclear vanadium-citrate peroxo as well as nonperoxo complexes, for which the important vanadium(V)-assisted oxidative decarboxylation, leading to reduction of vanadium(V) to vanadium(IV), seemed to be a plausible pathway in place for all the cases examined. FT-IR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography were instrumental in the identification of the arising products of all investigated reactions. Collectively, the data support the existence of chemical links between different and various structural forms of dinuclear vanadium(IV,V)-citrate complexes in aqueous media. Furthermore, in corroboration of past studies, the examined interconversions lend credence to the notion that the involved species are active participants in the respective aqueous distributions of the metal ion in the presence of the physiological ligand citrate. The concomitant significance of structure-specific species relating to soluble and potentially bioavailable forms of vanadium is mentioned.  相似文献

An oxidation of cluster anion [Re(12)CS(17)(CN)(6)](6-) by H(2)O(2) in water has been investigated. It was shown that selective two-step oxidation of bridging μ(2)-S-ligands in trigonal prismatic unit {Re(3)(μ(6)-C)(μ(2)-S)(3)Re(3)} takes place. The first stage runs rapidly, whereas the speed of the second stage depends on intensity of ultraviolet irradiation of the reaction mixture. Each stage of the reaction is accompanied by a change in the solution's color. In the first stage of the oxidation, the cluster anion [Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(3)(CN)(6)](6-) is produced, in which all bridging S-ligands are turned into bridging SO(2)-ligands. The second stage of the oxidation leads to formation of the anion [Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(2)(SO(3))(CN)(6)](6-), in which one of the SO(2)-ligands underwent further oxidation forming the bridging SO(3)-ligand. Seven compounds containing these anions were synthesized and characterized by a set of different methods, elemental analyses, IR and UV/vis spectroscopy, and quantum-chemical calculations. Structures of some compounds based on similar cluster anions, [Cu(NH(3))(5)](3)[Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(3)(CN)(6)]·9.5H(2)O, [Ni(NH(3))(6)](3)[Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(3)(CN)(6)]·4H(2)O, and [Cu(NH(3))(5)](2.6)[Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(3)(CN)(6)](0.6)[{Re(12)CS(14)(SO(2))(2)(SO(3))(CN)(5)(μ-CN)}{Cu(NH(3))(4)}](0.4)·5H(2)O, were investigated by X-ray analysis of single crystals.  相似文献

Nanoaggregates such as nanowires, nanoparticles, nanotubules, and nanoribbons were prepared from bulk crystals, which are shaped as needles (1), blocks (2), tubules (3α), and plates (3β), respectively, by grinding and ultrasonication. Nanowires have diameters of approximately 2 nm, lengths of thousands of nanmeters, and the distance between adjacent nanowires is approximately 2 nm. The diameters of nanoparticles range from 3 to 5 nm. Nanotubules display diameters of 70 nm and lengths of thousands of nanometers, and nanoribbons exhibit widths of approximately 50 nm and lengths of hundreds of nanometers. All of the bulk crystals have been synthesized by the wet chemical method. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that crystal 1 is constituted by infinite one-dimensional {[NH(3)CH(2)CH(NH(2))CH(3)](C(6)H(4)O(2))[μ(2)-OC(6)H(4)O](Mo(VI)-O-Na-O)[NH(2)CH(2)CH(NH(2))CH(3)]}(n) (1), which acts as a parallel aligned quantum wire forming lamellas that assemble themselves into multilayered architecture. Crystal 2 consists of discrete [NH(3)CH(2)CH(NH(2))CH(3)](2)[Mo(VI)O(2)(O(2)C(6)H(4))(2)] (2), which presents as quantum particles and repeats itself along a three-dimensional crystal lattice. Crystal 3α, formed under 5 °C, and 3β, crystallized above 10 °C, are both composed of (NH(3)CH(2)CH(2)NH(2))(2)[Mo(VI)O(2)(O(2)C(6)H(4))(2)](NH(2)CH(2)CH(2)NH(2))(0.5) (3) but are packed in different ways. In crystal 3α, four [Mo(VI)O(2)(O(2)C(6)H(4))(2)](2-) circle into a quantum tube that is further assembled into multitubular architecture. However, in crystal 3β, two [Mo(VI)O(2)(O(2)C(6)H(4))(2)](2-) form a bilayered quantum lamellar motif that is piled into multilayered architecture. TEM reveals that all of the morphologies of the nanoaggregates are associated with the structures of the quantum motifs in their crystal lattices, which provide successful and effective access to assemble controlled nanostructures from quantum motifs of fine-desired and well-ordered bulk crystals. The technology of grinding and ultrasonication to prepare nanoaggregates is simple and available.  相似文献

The hydrothermal chemistry of a variety of M(II)SO(4) salts with the tetrazole (Ht) ligands 5,5'-(1,4-phenylene)bis(1H-tetrazole) (H(2)bdt), 5',5'-(1,1'-biphenyl)4,4'-diylbis(1H-tetrazole) (H(2)dbdt) and 5,5',5'-(1,3,5-phenylene)tris(1H-tetrazole) (H(3)btt) was investigated. In the case of Co(II), three phases were isolated, two of which incorporated sulfate: [Co(5)F(2)(dbdt)(4)(H(2)O)(6)]·2H(2)O (1·2H(2)O), [Co(4)(OH)(2)(SO(4))(bdt)(2)(H(2)O)(4)] (2) and [Co(3)(OH)(SO(4))(btt)(H(2)O)(4)]·3H(2)O (3·3H(2)O). The structures are three-dimensional and consist of cluster-based secondary building units: the pentanuclear {Co(5)F(2)(tetrazolate)(8)(H(2)O)(6)}, the tetranuclear {Co(4)(OH)(2)(SO(4))(2)(tetrazolate)(6)}(4-), and the trinuclear {Co(3)(μ(3)-OH)(SO(4))(2) (tetrazolate)(3)}(2-) for 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The Ni(II) analogue [Ni(2)(H(0.67)bdt)(3)]·10.5H(2)O (4·10.5H(2)O) is isomorphous with a fourth cobalt phase, the previously reported [Co(2)(H(0.67)bat)(3)]·20H(2)O and exhibits a {M(tetrazolate)(3/2)}(∞) chain as the fundamental building block. The dense three-dimensional structure of [Zn(bdt)] (5) consists of {ZnN(4)}tetrahedra linked through bdt ligands bonding through N1,N3 donors at either tetrazolate terminus. In contrast to the hydrothermal synthesis of 1-5, the Cd(II) material (Me(2)NH(2))(3)[Cd(12)Cl(3)(btt)(8)(DMF)(12)]·xDMF·yMeOH (DMF = dimethylformamide; x = ca. 12, y = ca. 5) was prepared in DMF/methanol. The structure is constructed from the linking of {Cd(4)Cl(tetrazolate)(8)(DMF)(4)}(1-) secondary building units to produce an open-framework material exhibiting 66.5% void volume. The magnetic properties of the Co(II) series are reflective of the structural building units.  相似文献

The reactions of neutral or cationic manganese carbonyl species towards the oxo-nitrosyl complex [Na(MeOH)[Mo(5)O(13)(OCH(3))(4)(NO)]](2-) have been investigated in various conditions. This system provides an unique opportunity for probing the basic reactions involved in the preparation of solid oxide-supported heterogeneous catalysts, that is, mobility of transition-metal species at the surface and dissolution-precipitation of the support. Under nitrogen and in the dark, the reaction of in situ generated fac-[Mn(CO)(3)](+) species with (nBu(4)N)(2)[Na(MeOH)-[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]] in MeOH yields (nBu(4)N)(2)[Mn(CO)(3)(H(2)O)[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]] at room temperature, while (nBu(4)N)(3)[Na[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)](2)[Mn(CO)(3)](2)] is obtained under reflux. The former transforms into the latter under reflux in methanol in the presence of sodium bromide; this involves the migration of the fac-[Mn(CO)(3)](+) moiety from a basal kappa(2)O coordination site to a lateral kappa(3)O site. Oxidation and decarbonylation of manganese carbonyl species as well as degradation of the oxonitrosyl starting material and reaggregation of oxo(methoxo)molybdenum fragments occur in non-deareated MeOH, and both (nBu(4)N)(4)[Mn(H(2)O)(2)[Mo(5)O(16)(OMe)(2)](2)[Mn(CO)(3)](2)] and (nBu(4)N)(4)[Mn(H(2)O)(2)[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)](2)] as well as (nBu(4)N)(2)[MnBr[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]] have been obtained in this way. The rhenium analogue (nBu(4)N)(2)[Re(CO)(3)(H(2)O)[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]] has also been synthesized. The crystal structures of (nBu(4)N)(2)[Re(CO)(3)(H(2)O)[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]], (nBu(4)N)(3)[Na[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)](2)[Mn(CO)(3)](2)], (nBu(4)N)(4)[Mn(H(2)O)(2)[Mo(5)O(16)(OMe)(2)](2)[Mn(CO)(3)](2)], (nBu(4)N)(4)[Mn(H(2)O)(2)[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)](2)] and (nBu(4)N)(2)[MnBr[Mo(5)O(13)(OMe)(4)(NO)]] have been determined.  相似文献

By synthesizing the novel molybdenum arsenate complexes, we have obtained eight new structures, namely, (4,4'-bipy)[Zn(4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)2]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].7H2O, 1, [Zn(phen)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 2, [Zn(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 3, [Zn(H4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)4][(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].8H2O, 4, (H24,4'-bipy)[CuI(4,4'-bipy)]2[H2AsV2Mo6O26].H2O, 5, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26].4H2O, 6, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].4H2O, 7, and (H24,4'-bipy)2.5(H3O)[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].1.25H2O, 8 (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). These structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and were further characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XPS spectroscopy, and TG analysis. The structure of 1 is constructed from two-dimensional square gridlike sheets linked by the polyanions [(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18]4- via hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a three-dimensional supramolecular framework with two types of channels. Compounds 2 and 3 display similar bisupported structures. Compound 4 features a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Compound 5 possesses a 1D infinite ladderlike ribbon. Compounds 6-8 are discrete structures exhibiting three isomeric forms of [HxAs2Mo6O26](6-x)-. Furthermore, compound 8 represents a new isomer B'-[As2Mo6O26(H2O)]6-. In addition, the fluorescent properties of compounds 1-3 are reported.  相似文献

Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(Cl)(OH(2))] (1) with CN(-) under various conditions affords (PPh(4))[Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(CN)(Cl)] (2), (PPh(4))(2)[Os(VI)(N)(L(2))(CN)(2)] (3), and a novel hydrogen cyanamido complex, (PPh(4))(2)[Os(III){N(H)CN}(L(3))(CN)(3)] (4). Compound 4 reacts readily with both electrophiles and nucleophiles. Protonation and methylation of 4 produce (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNH(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (5) and (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNMe(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (6), respectively. Nucleophilic addition of NH(3), ethylamine, and diethylamine readily occur at the C atom of the hydrogen cyanamide ligand of 4 to produce osmium guanidine complexes with the general formula [Os(III){N(H)C(NH(2))NR(1)R(2)}(L(3))(CN)(3)](-) , which have been isolated as PPh(4) salts (R(1) = R(2) = H (7); R(1) = H, R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (8); R(1) = R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (9)). The molecular structures of 1-5 and 7 and 8 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献
