We establish inequalities for Green functions of Dini-smooth Jordan domains in R2.We give a version of the 3G theorem for these domains. With the help of these results, we prove comparison theorems between the Green kernel of and the Green kernel of – where is a nonnegative Radon measure.  相似文献

In this article we consider a certain class of mappings between Riemannian manifolds of the type M × R+ *, which preserve two objects associated to the heat equation. First we show that maps which pull back local solutions of the heat equation to local solutions of the heat equation, called heat equation morphisms have to be the product of a homothetic submersion and an affine map of R+ *. Then using the above characterisation, we study maps which pull back the heat kernel to the heat kernel. We call such maps heat kernel morphisms. We show in Theorem 3 that, in the case of compact manifolds, a map : M × M × R+ * N × N × R+ * of the form (x,y,t) = ( (x), (y),h(t)), with surjective, is a heat kernel morphism if and only if is a homothetic covering of N()-sheets and constant dilation such that N() = m (m = dim M) and h(t) = 2t. In particular, if is bijective then it must be an isometry and h(t) = t. A similar problem was considered from a different point of view in [6].  相似文献

We prove local limit theorems for products of independent random variables on the Heisenberg group which are identically distributed with respect to an arbitrary centered and compactly supported probability measure . We also provide uniform estimates for translates of a bounded set by comparing n to the associated heat kernel. We derive strong laws of large numbers for birth and death random walks and random walks on polynomial hypergroups for which the coefficients of the three-term-recurrence formula of the associated orthogonal polynomials satisfy lim n n a (a n-cn)= wherea]0, 1[ and >0. We also present these laws for random walks on Sturm-Liouville hypergroups on + for which a corresponding asymptotic condition holds. Contact Riemannian manifolds (M, ,g) satisfying the condition (1) =0, where is the torsion introduced byChern andHamilton [6] and is the characteristic vector field, have interesting geometric properties (see [6], [9], [11]). In this paper we give a variational characterization of compact contact Riemannian manifolds which satisfy (1). The purpose of this paper is to study singularities of the Bergman kernel at the boundary for pseudoconvex domains of finite type from the viewpoint of the theory of singularities. Under some assumptions on a domain in n+1 , the Bergman kernel B(z) of takes the form near a boundary point p: where (w,) is some polar coordinates on a nontangential cone with apex at p and means the distance from the boundary. Here admits some asymptotic expansion with respect to the variables 1/ m and log(1/) as 0 on . The values of d F >0, m F + and m are determined by geometrical properties of the Newton polyhedron of defining functions of domains and the limit of as 0 on is a positive constant depending only on the Newton principal part of the defining function. Summary LetT be a non-singular ergodic automorphism of a Lebesgue space (X,L,) and letf: X be a measurable function. We define the notion of recurrence of such a functionf and introduce the recurrence setR(f)={:f– is recurrent}. If , then R()={0}, but in general recurrence sets can be very complicated. We prove various conditions for a number to lie in R(f) and, more generally, forR(f) to be non-empty.
