Synthesis, Structures, NMR and EPR Investigations on Transition Metal Complexes of monofluorosubstituted Acylselenourea Ligands The syntheses and the structures of the ligand N, N‐diethyl‐N′‐(2‐fluoro)benzoylselenourea HEt2mfbsu and the complexes [Ni(Et2mfbsu)2] and [Zn(Et2mfbsu)2] as well as of the ligand N, N‐diisobutyl‐N′‐(2‐fluoro)benzoylselenourea HBui2mfbsu and the complexes [NiII(Bui2mfbsu)2] and [PdII(Bui2mfbsu)2] are reported. The ligands coordinate bidendately forming bischelates. The PdII and NiII complexes are cis coordinated; in [ZnII(Et2mfbsu)2] the ligands are tetrahedrally arranged. The structure of the also obtained bis[diisobutylamino‐(2‐fluorobenzoylimino)methyl]diselenide is reported. The CuII complexes of both selenourea ligands could not be isolated. They were obtained as oils. Their EPR spectra, however, confirm the presence of CuII bischelates unambiguously. Detailed NMR investigations ‐ 1H‐, 13C‐ and 19F‐COSY, HMBC and HMQC ‐ on [MII(Et2mfbsu)2] (M = NiII, ZnII) allow an exact assignment of all signals to the magnetically active nuclei of the complexes.  相似文献

Synthesis, Structures, EPR and ENDOR Investigations on Transition Metal Complexes of N, N‐diisobutyl‐N′‐(2, 6‐difluoro)benzoyl selenourea The synthesis and the structures of the NiII and PdII complexes of the ligand N, N‐diisobutyl‐N′‐(2, 6‐difluoro)benzoylselenourea HBui2dfbsu are reported. The ligands coordinate bidentately forming bis‐chelates. The structure of the ligand could not be obtained, however, the structure of its O‐ethyl ester will be reported. Attempts to prepare the CuII complex result only in the formation of oily products. However, the CuII complex could be incorporated into the corresponding NiII and PdII compounds. From this diamagnetically diluted powder and single‐crystal samples were obtained being suitable for EPR‐ENDOR measurements. We report X‐ and Q‐band EPR investigations on the systems [Cu/Ni(Bui2dfbsu)2] and [Cu/Pd(Bui2dfbsu)2] as well as a single‐crystal X‐band EPR study for [Cu/Ni(Bui2dfbsu)2]. The obtained 63, 65Cu and 77Se hyperfine structure tensors allow a determination of the spin‐density distribution within the first coordination sphere. In addition, orientation selective 19F Q‐band pulse ENDOR investigations on powder‐samples of [Cu/Ni(Bui2dfbsu)2] have been performed. The hyperfine structure tensors of two intramolecular 19F atoms could be determined. According to the small 19F couplings only a vanishingly small spin‐density of < 1 % was obtained for these 19F atoms.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the water soluble phosphane oxide ligand tris[2‐isopropylimidazol‐4(5)‐yl]phosphane oxide, 4‐TIPOiPr, has been explored. A variety of 3d‐metal halide complexes have been prepared and the crystal structures of the solvates [(4‐TIPOiPr)ZnCl2]·MeOH·1/2dioxane ( 1 ·MeOH·1/2dioxane), [(4‐TIPOiPr)CoCl2]·H2O·2dioxane ( 2 ·H2O·2dioxane) and [(4‐TIPOiPr)2Ni(MeOH)2]Cl2·2MeOH ( 3 ·2MeOH) have been determined. All three structures show unprecedented coordination modes of the 4‐TIPOiPr ligand. Both zinc and cobalt complexes are coordinated in a bidentate κ2N fashion, whereas the nickel atom is coordinated by two ligands in a κN,O mode using one imidazolyl substituent and the P=O oxygen atom.  相似文献

After the lithiation of PYR‐H2 (PYR2?=[{NC(Me)C(H)C(Me)NC6H3(iPr)2}2(C5H3N)]2?), which is the precursor of an expanded β‐diketiminato ligand system with two binding pockets, its reaction with [NiBr2(dme)] led to a dinuclear nickel(II)–bromide complex, [(PYR)Ni(μ‐Br)NiBr] ( 1 ). The bridging bromide ligand could be selectively exchanged for a thiolate ligand to yield [(PYR)Ni(μ‐SEt)NiBr] ( 3 ). In an attempt to introduce hydride ligands, both compounds were treated with KHBEt3. This treatment afforded [(PYR)Ni(μ‐H)Ni] ( 2 ), which is a mixed valent NiI? μ‐H? NiII complex, and [(PYR‐H)Ni(μ‐SEt)Ni] ( 4 ), in which two tricoordinated NiI moieties are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled. Compound 4 is the product of an initial salt metathesis, followed by an intramolecular redox process that separates the original hydride ligand into two electrons, which reduce the metal centres, and a proton, which is trapped by one of the binding pockets, thereby converting it into an olefin ligand on one of the NiI centres. The addition of a mild acid to complex 4 leads to the elimination of H2 and the formation of a NiIINiII compound, [(PYR)Ni(μ‐SEt)NiOTf] ( 5 ), so that the original NiII(μ‐SEt)NiIIX core of compound 3 is restored. All of these compounds were fully characterized, including by X‐ray diffraction, and their molecular structures, as well as their formation processes, are discussed.  相似文献

The ability of bridging thiophenolate groups (RS?) to transmit magnetic exchange interactions between paramagnetic NiII ions is examined. Specific attention is paid to complexes with large Ni? SR? Ni angles. For this purpose, dinuclear [Ni2L1(μ‐OAc)?I2][I5] ( 2 ) and trinuclear [Ni3L2(OAc)2][BPh4]2 ( 3 ), where H2L1 and H2L2 represent 24‐membered macrocyclic amino‐thiophenol ligands, are prepared and fully characterized by IR‐ and UV/Vis spectroscopy, X‐ray crystallography, static magnetization M measurements and high‐field electron spin resonance (HF‐ESR). The dinuclear complex 2 has a central N3Ni2(μ‐S)2(μ‐OAc)Ni2N3 core with a mean Ni? S? Ni angle of 92°. The macrocycle L2 supports a trinuclear complex 3 , with distorted octahedral N2O2S2 and N2O3S coordination environments for one central and two terminal NiII ions, respectively. The Ni? S? Ni angles are at 132.8° and 133.5°. We find that the variation of the bond angles has a very strong impact on the magnetic properties of the Ni complexes. In the case of the Ni2‐complex, temperature T and magnetic field B dependencies of M reveal a ferromagnetic coupling J=?29 cm?1 between two NiII ions (H=JS1S2). HF‐ESR measurements yield a negative axial magnetic anisotropy (D<0) which implies a bistable (easy axis) magnetic ground state. In contrast, for the Ni3‐complex we find an appreciable antiferromagnetic coupling J′=97 cm?1 between the NiII ions and a positive axial magnetic anisotropy (D>0) which implies an easy plane situation.  相似文献

The title compound, [Zn3(C9H21SiS)6] or [(iPr3SiS)Zn(μ‐SSiiPr3)2Zn(μ‐SSiiPr3)2Zn(SSiiPr3)], is the first structurally characterized homoleptic silanethiolate complex of zinc. A near‐linear arrangement of three ZnII ions is observed, the metals at the ends being three‐coordinate with one terminally bound silanethiolate ligand. The central ZnII ion is four‐coordinate and tetrahedral, with two bridging silanethiolate ligands joining it to each of the two peripheral ZnII ions. The nonbonding intermetallic distances are 3.1344 (11) and 3.2288 (12) Å, while the Zn...Zn...Zn angle is 172.34 (2)°. A trimetallic silanethiolate species of this type has not been previously identified by X‐ray crystallography for any element.  相似文献

The NiII‐mediated tautomerization of the N‐heterocyclic hydrosilylcarbene L2Si(H)(CH2)NHC 1 , where L2=CH(C?CH2)(CMe)(NAr)2, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3; NHC=3,4,5‐trimethylimidazol‐2‐yliden‐6‐yl, leads to the first N‐heterocyclic silylene (NHSi)–carbene (NHC) chelate ligand in the dibromo nickel(II) complex [L1Si:(CH2)(NHC)NiBr2] 2 (L1=CH(MeC?NAr)2). Reduction of 2 with KC8 in the presence of PMe3 as an auxiliary ligand afforded, depending on the reaction time, the N‐heterocyclic silyl–NHC bromo NiII complex [L2Si(CH2)NHCNiBr(PMe3)] 3 and the unique Ni0 complex [η2(Si‐H){L2Si(H)(CH2)NHC}Ni(PMe3)2] 4 featuring an agostic Si? H→Ni bonding interaction. When 1,2‐bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane (DMPE) was employed as an exogenous ligand, the first NHSi–NHC chelate‐ligand‐stabilized Ni0 complex [L1Si:(CH2)NHCNi(dmpe)] 5 could be isolated. Moreover, the dicarbonyl Ni0 complex 6 , [L1Si:(CH2)NHCNi(CO)2], is easily accessible by the reduction of 2 with K(BHEt3) under a CO atmosphere. The complexes were spectroscopically and structurally characterized. Furthermore, complex 2 can serve as an efficient precatalyst for Kumada–Corriu‐type cross‐coupling reactions.  相似文献

The compound [Ni(QM)2], QM=4,6‐di‐tert‐butyl‐N‐(2‐methylthiomethylphenyl)‐o‐iminobenzoquinone, is a singlet diradical species with approximately planar configuration at the tetracoordinate metal atom and without any Ni?S bonding interaction. One‐electron oxidation results in additional twofold Ni?S coordination (dNi?S≈2.38 Å) to produce a complex cation of [Ni(QM)2](PF6) with hexacoordinate NiII and two distinctly different mer‐configurated tridentate ligands. The O,O′‐trans arrangement in the neutral precursor is changed to an O,O′‐cis configuration in the cation. The EPR signal of [Ni(QM)2](PF6) has a very large g anisotropy and the magnetic measurements indicate an S=3/2 state. The dication was structurally characterized as [Ni(QM)2](ClO4)2 to exhibit a similar NiN2O2S2 framework as the monocation. However, the two tridentate (O,N,S) ligands are now equivalent according to the formulation [NiII(QM0)2]2+. Cyclic voltammetry reflects the qualitative structure change on the first, but not on the second oxidation of [Ni(QM)2], and spectroelectrochemistry reveals a pronounced dependence of the 800–900 nm absorption on the solvent and counterion. Reduction of the neutral form occurs in an electrochemically reversible step to yield an anion with an intense near‐infrared absorption at 1345 nm (ε=10400 M ?1 cm?1) and a conventional g factor splitting for a largely metal‐based spin (S=1/2), suggesting a [(QM . ?)NiII(QM2?)]? configuration with a tetracoordinate metal atom with antiferromagnetic NiII–(QM . ?) interactions and symmetry‐allowed ligand‐to‐ligand intervalence charge transfer (LLIVCT). Calculations are used to understand the Ni?S binding activity as induced by remote electron transfer at the iminobenzoquinone redox system.  相似文献

A new coordination polymer, catena‐poly[[(dipyrido[3,2‐a:2′,3′‐c]phenazine‐κ2N,N′)nickel(II)]‐μ‐2,6‐dipicolinato‐κ4O2,N,O6:O2′], [Ni(C7H3NO4)(C18H10N4)]n, exhibits a one‐dimensional structure in which 2,6‐dipicolinate acts as a bridging ligand interconnecting adjacent nickel(II) centers to form a chain structure. The asymmetric unit contains one NiII center, one dipyrido[3,2‐a:2′,3′‐c]phenazine ligand and one 2,6‐dipicolinate ligand. Each NiII center is six‐coordinated and surrounded by three N atoms and three O atoms from one dipyrido[3,2‐a:2′,3′‐c]phenazine ligand and two different 2,6‐dipicolinate ligands, leading to a distorted octahedral geometry. Adjacent chains are linked by π–π stacking interactions and weak interactions to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular network.  相似文献

The title complex, {[Ni(C15H11N4O2S)2(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]·H2O}n, was synthesized by the reaction of nickel chloride, 4‐{[(1‐phenyl‐1H‐tetrazol‐5‐yl)sulfanyl]methyl}benzoic acid (HL) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (bpy) under hydrothermal conditions. The asymmetric unit contains two half NiII ions, each located on an inversion centre, two L ligands, one bpy ligand, two coordinated water molecules and one unligated water molecule. Each NiII centre is six‐coordinated by two monodentate carboxylate O atoms from two different L ligands, two pyridine N atoms from two different bpy ligands and two terminal water molecules, displaying a nearly ideal octahedral geometry. The NiII ions are bridged by 4,4′‐bipyridine ligands to afford a linear array, with an Ni...Ni separation of 11.361 (1) Å, which is further decorated by two monodentate L ligands trans to each other, resulting in a one‐dimensional fishbone‐like chain structure. These one‐dimensional fishbone‐like chains are further linked by O—H...O, O—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture. The thermal stability of the title complex was investigated via thermogravimetric analysis.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Ni(C14H8N2O5)(H2O)2]n, the NiII cation is six‐coordinate with a slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometry and the 4‐(isonicotinamido)phthalate ligand links the NiII centres into a three‐dimensional structure with sra topology. The structure is also stabilized by N—H...O hydrogen bonding between the uncoordinated amide groups of the ligand and extensive O—H...O hydrogen bonding between the two coordinated water molecules. The magnetic and thermal stability properties of the title compound are also discussed.  相似文献

The title complex of [Ni2(µ‐Sal)4(Dena)2]H2O, [( µ‐tetrakissalicylato‐κ‐O,O)(bis‐N,N‐diethylnicotinamide‐κ‐N)(binickel(II))]hydrate, C48H52Ni2N4O16, has been synthesized and explained as structural using some elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectra, UV‐Vis reflectance, magnetic measurements, thermal analysis and x‐ray diffraction methods. The analysis results showed that the unit cell of complex includes two molecules NiII cation, four molecules salicylates as bridge and two molecules N,N‐diethylnicotinamide ligands, also there is one molecule hydrated aqua. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with the following unit‐cell parameters: a =13.6776(6) Å, b =10.5238(3) Å, c =21.8165(9), α=90.00°, β=126.546(3)°, γ=90.00º and Z=2. The compound [Ni2(µ‐Sal)4(Dena)2]H2O is a typical paddle‐wheel complex structure. Two NiII ions are bridged by four salicylate ligands (O2, O2i, O3, O3i, O5, O5i, O6 and O6i) using a µ‐COO? coordination mode [symmetry code: (i) 1‐x, 1‐y, 1‐z]. Each NiII also coordinates to one nitrogen atom (N1 and N1i) from one N,N‐diethylnicotinamide ligand molecule in the axial position. The complex has strong paramagnetic properties.  相似文献

An alkylperoxonickel(II) complex with hydrotris(3,5‐diisopropyl‐4‐bromo‐1‐pyrazolyl)borate, [NiII(OOtBu)(TpiPr2,Br)] ( 3a ), is synthesized, and its chemical properties are compared with those of the prototype non‐brominated ligand derivative [NiII(OOtBu)(TpiPr2)] ( 3b ; TpiPr2=hydrotris(3,5‐diisopropyl‐1‐pyrazolyl)borate). Same synthetic procedures for the prototype 3b and its precursors can be employed to the synthesis of the TpiPr2,Br analogues. The dimeric nickel(II)‐hydroxo complex, [(NiIITpiPr2,Br)2(μ‐OH)2] ( 2a ), can be synthesized by the base hydrolysis of the labile complexes [NiII(Y)(TpiPr2,Br)] (Y=NO3 ( 1a ), OAc ( 1a′ )), which are obtained by the metathesis of NaTpiPr2,Br with the corresponding nickel(II) salts, and the following dehydrative condensation of 2a with the stoichiometric amount of tert‐butylhydroperoxide yields 3a . The unique structural characteristics of the prototype 3b , that is, highly distorted geometry of the nickel center and intermediate coordination mode of the O O moiety between η1 and η2, are kept in the brominated ligand analogue 3a . The introduction of the electron‐withdrawing substitutents on the distal site of TpR affects the thermal stability and reactivity of the nickel(II)‐alkylperoxo species.  相似文献

The coordination geometry of the NiII atom in the title complex, poly[diazidobis[μ‐1,4‐bis(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene‐κ2N4:N4′]nickel(II)], [Ni(N3)2(C12H12N6)2]n, is a distorted octahedron, in which the NiII atom lies on an inversion centre and is coordinated by four N atoms from the triazole rings of two symmetry‐related pairs of 1,4‐bis(1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐ylmethyl)benzene (bbtz) ligands and two N atoms from two symmetry‐related monodentate azide ligands. The NiII atoms are bridged by four bbtz ligands to form a two‐dimensional (4,4)‐network.  相似文献

The reaction of the NHC iPr2Im [NHC=N‐heterocyclic carbene, iPr2Im = 1, 3‐bis(isopropyl)imidazolin‐2‐ylidene] with freshly prepared NiBr2 in thf or dme results in the formation of the air stable nickel(II) complex trans‐[Ni(iPr2Im)2Br2] ( 2 ). Complex 2 was structurally characterized. Thermal analysis (DTA/TG) reveals a very high decomposition temperature of 298 °C. Reduction of 2 with sodium or C8K in the presence of the olefins COD (cyclooctadiene) or COE (cyclooctene) affords the highly reactive compounds [Ni2(iPr2Im)4(COD)] ( 1 ) and [Ni(iPr2Im)2(COE)] ( 4 ). Alkylation of 2 with organolithiums leads to the formation of trans‐[Ni(iPr2Im)2(R)2] [R = Me ( 5 ), CH2SiMe3 ( 6 )], whereas the reaction of 2 with LiCp* [Cp* = (η5‐C5(CH3)5)] at 80 °C causes the loss of one NHC ligand and affords [(η5‐C5(CH3)5)Ni(iPr2Im)Br] ( 7 ).  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title complex, [Ni(C6H14N2)2]Br2, consists of discrete [Ni(C6H14N2)2]2+ cations and bromide counter‐anions. The NiII ion is at the center of symmetry and is four‐coordinated by four nitrogen donors of the mesocyclic ligand 1,5‐diazacyclooctane (DACO) [Ni—N 1.935 (2)–1.937 (2) Å]. The coordination geometry of NiII can be considered as square planar and both DACO ligands take the boat–chair conformation. The bromide anions are hydrogen bonded with the nitrogen donors of the ligands to form a macrocycle‐like ring system.  相似文献

By using the node‐and‐spacer approach in suitable solvents, four new heterotrimetallic 1D chain‐like compounds (that is, containing 3d–3d′–4f metal ions), {[Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)Fe(Tp*)(CN)3] ? 2 CH3CN ? CH3OH}n (H2L=N,N′‐bis(3‐methoxysalicylidene)‐1,3‐diaminopropane, Tp*=hydridotris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)borate; Ln=Gd ( 1 ), Dy ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), Nd ( 4 )), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. All of these compounds are made up of a neutral cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged heterotrimetallic chain, with a {? Fe? C?N? Ni(? O? Ln)? N?C? }n repeat unit. Within these chains, each [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? entity binds to the NiII ion of the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ motif through two of its three cyanide groups in a cis mode, whereas each [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit is linked to two [(Tp*)Fe(CN)3]? ions through the NiII ion in a trans mode. In the [Ni(L)Ln(NO3)2(H2O)]+ unit, the NiII and LnIII ions are bridged to one other through two phenolic oxygen atoms of the ligand (L). Compounds 1 – 4 are rare examples of 1D cyanide‐ and phenolate‐bridged 3d–3d′–4f helical chain compounds. As expected, strong ferromagnetic interactions are observed between neighboring FeIII and NiII ions through a cyanide bridge and between neighboring NiII and LnIII (except for NdIII) ions through two phenolate bridges. Further magnetic studies show that all of these compounds exhibit single‐chain magnetic behavior. Compound 2 exhibits the highest effective energy barrier (58.2 K) for the reversal of magnetization in 3d/4d/5d–4f heterotrimetallic single‐chain magnets.  相似文献

In the title compounds, {2,2′‐[2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4N,N′,O,O′}nickel(II), [Ni(C19H20N2O2)], and {2,2′‐[2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediylbis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenolato‐κ4N,N′,O,O′}copper(II), [Cu(C19H20N2O2)], the NiII and CuII atoms are coordinated by two iminic N and two phenolic O atoms of the N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediaminate (SALPD2?, C17H16N2O22?) ligand. The geometry of the coordination sphere is planar in the case of the NiII complex and distorted towards tetrahedral for the CuII complex. Both complexes have a cis configuration imposed by the chelate ligand. The dihedral angles between the N/Ni/O and N/Cu/O coordination planes are 17.20 (6) and 35.13 (7)°, respectively.  相似文献

Pincer complexes can act as catalysts in organic transformations and have potential applications in materials, medicine and biology. They exhibit robust structures and high thermal stability attributed to the tridentate coordination of the pincer ligands and the strong σ metal–carbon bond. Nickel derivatives of these ligands have shown high catalytic activities in cross‐coupling reactions and other industrially relevant transformations. This work reports the crystal structures of two polymorphs of the title NiII POCOP pincer complex, [Ni(C29H41N2O8P2)Cl] or [NiCl{C6H2‐4‐[OCOC6H4‐3,5‐(NO2)2]‐2,6‐(OPtBu2)2}]. Both pincer structures exhibit the NiII atom in a distorted square‐planar coordination geometry with the POCOP pincer ligand coordinated in a typical tridentate manner via the two P atoms and one arene C atom via a C—Ni σ bond, giving rise to two five‐membered chelate rings. The coordination sphere of the NiII centre is completed by a chloride ligand. The asymmetric units of both polymorphs consist of one molecule of the pincer complex. In the first polymorph, the arene rings are nearly coplanar, with a dihedral angle between the mean planes of 27.9 (1)°, while in the second polymorph, this angle is 82.64 (1)°, which shows that the arene rings are almost perpendicular to one another. The supramolecular structure is directed by the presence of weak C—H…O=X (X = C or N) interactions, forming two‐ and three‐dimensional chain arrangements.  相似文献

A nickel? nickel‐bonded complex, [{Ni(μ‐L.?)}2] ( 1 ; L=[(2,6‐iPr2C6H3)NC(Me)]2), was synthesized from reduction of the LNiBr2 precursor by sodium metal. Further controllable reduction of 1 with 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 equiv of Na, respectively, afforded the singly, doubly, and triply reduced compounds [Na(DME)3] ? [{Ni(μ‐L.?)}2] ( 2 ; DME=1,2‐dimethoxyethane), [Na(Et2O)]Na[(L.?)Ni? NiL2?] ( 3 ), and [Na(Et2O)]2Na[L2?Ni? NiL2?] ( 4 ). Here L represents the neutral ligand, L.? denotes its radical monoanion, and L2? is the dianion. All of the four compounds feature a short Ni? Ni bond from 2.2957(6) to 2.4649(8) Å. Interestingly, they display two different structures: the perpendicular ( 1 and 2 ) and the coaxial ( 3 and 4 ) structure, in which the metal? metal bond axis is perpendicular to or collinear with the axes of the α‐diimine ligands, respectively. The electronic structures, Ni? Ni bonding nature, and energetic comparisons of the two structure types were investigated by DFT computations.  相似文献
