In this paper we study exact boundary controllability for a system of two linear wave equations coupled by lower order terms. We obtain square integrable control of Neuman type for initial state with finite energy, in nonsmooth domains of the plane.  相似文献

We study the boundary exact controllability for the semilinear Schrödinger equation defined on an open, bounded, connected set Ω of a complete, n-dimensional, Riemannian manifold M with metric g. We prove the locally exact controllability around the equilibria under some checkable geometrical conditions. Our results show that exact controllability is geometrical characters of a Riemannian metric, given by the coefficients and equilibria of the semilinear Schrödinger equation. We then establish the globally exact controllability in such a way that the state of the semilinear Schrödinger equation moves from an equilibrium in one location to an equilibrium in another location.  相似文献

In this paper, complete group classification of a class of (1+1)-dimensional generalized quasi-linear wave equations is performed by using the Lie-Ovsiannikov method, additional equivalent transformation and furcate split method. Lie reductions of some truly ‘variable coefficient’ wave equations which are singled out from the classification results are investigated. Some classes of exact solutions of these ‘variable coefficient’ wave equations are constructed by means of both the reductions and the additional equivalent transformations. The nonclassical symmetries to the generalized quasi-linear wave equation are also studied. This enabled to obtain some exact solutions of the wave equations which are invariant under certain conditional symmetries.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the asymptotic stability of the exact boundary controllability of nodal profile for 1D quasi-linear wave equations. First, for 1D quasi-linear hyperbolic systems with zero eigenvalues, we establish the existence and uniqueness of semiglobal classical solution to the one-sided mixed initial-boundary value problem on a semibounded initial axis and discuss the asymptotic behavior of the corresponding solutions under different hypotheses on the initial data. Based on these results, we obtain the asymptotic stability of the exact boundary controllability of nodal profile for 1D quasi-linear wave equations on a semibounded time interval.  相似文献

We study the exact controllability of q uncoupled damped string equations by means of the same control function. This property is called simultaneous controllability. An observability inequality is proved, which implies the simultaneous controllability of the system. Our results generalize the previous results on the linear wave without the dampings. In this paper, we study one-dimensional linear degenerate wave equations with a distributed controller. We establish observability inequalities for degenerate wave equation by multiplier method. We also deduce the exact controllability for degenerate wave equation by Hilbert uniqueness method when the control acts on the nondegenerate boundary. This paper deals with the exact boundary controllability and the exact boundary synchronization for a 1-D system of wave equations coupled with velocities. These problems can not be solved directly by the usual HUM method for wave equations, however, by transforming the system into a first order hyperbolic system, the HUM method for 1-D first order hyperbolic systems, established by Li-Lu(2022) and Lu-Li(2022), can be applied to get the corresponding results.  相似文献

In this paper, for a coupled system of one‐dimensional wave equations with Dirichlet boundary controls, we show that the controllability of classical solutions implies the controllability of weak solutions. This conclusion can be applied in proving some results that are hardly obtained by a direct way in the framework of classical solutions. For instance, we strictly derive the necessary conditions for the exact boundary synchronization by two groups in the framework of classical solutions for the coupled system of wave equations. This paper first shows the exact boundary controllability for a coupled system of wave equations with Neumann boundary controls.In order to establish the corresponding observability inequality,the authors introduce a compact perturbation method which does not depend on the Riesz basis property,but depends only on the continuity of projection with respect to a weaker norm,which is obviously true in many cases of application.Next,in the case of fewer Neumann boundary controls,the non-exact boundary controllability for the initial data with the same level of energy is shown.  相似文献

This paper is addressed to a study of the persistent regional null controllability problems for one‐dimensional linear degenerate wave equations through a distributed controller. Different from non‐degenerate wave equations, the classical null controllability results do not hold for some degenerate wave equations. Thus, persistent regional null controllability is introduced, which means finding a control such that the corresponding state of the degenerate wave equation may vanish in a suitable subset of the space domain in a period of time. In order to solve this problem, we need to establish the regional null controllability for degenerate wave equations. This problem is reduced to a suitable observability problem of a linear degenerate wave equation. The key point is to choose a suitable multiplier in order to establish this observability inequality. In this paper, we study the null controllability of a class of Newtonian filtration equations. Using the properties of finite extinction time and finite speed of propagation, we construct a control function in feedback form, such that system is exactly null controllable at any time T>0. If we put a nonnegative constraint on the control function, this system is not exactly null controllable any more, but approximately null controllable for a long time.  相似文献
