Various simple and complex compounds of238U and237Np have been irradiated in a neutron flux. The chemical state of239U and238Np formed in (n, ) reactions has been determined as a function of the initial oxidation state of the actinide elements and of the nature of ligands. A scheme for the chemical reactions following neutron capture is proposed.  相似文献

A low-background -counter and a simple direct method, based on total -counting, have been developed in order to estimate the concentration of uranium at the g/g level in ordinary rock samples. The method is a relative one; international standards have been used for calibration. Only 3 g of rock powder is needed. Combining this method with -spectrometry, direct determination of238U (independently of226Ra) becomes possible near the above concentration level.  相似文献

Fluoride and sulphate complexing of Np(VI) has been studied by controlled-potential coulometry at a constant ionic strength. The values of 1 * and 2 * for fluoride complexes were found to be 9.4 and 8.9, respectively, at an ionic strength =0.5. At an ionic strength =1.0, 1 * and 2 * obtained were 6.6 and 10.5, respectively. Sulphate complexing of Np(VI) was studied only at an ionic strength =0.5. The value of 1 * obtained was 5.6.  相似文献

Conclusions When heated in the presence of a catalytic amount of BF3 etherate,-trifluoromethyl--diethylamino--fluoroacrylic acid N, N-dimethylamide is reversibly isomerized to-trifluoromethyl--dimethylamino--fluoroacrylic acid N, N-diethylamide. In an effort to modify the solubility and dissolution rate of the contraceptive steroid, 19-norprogesterone in order to improve its bioavailability, the cyclodextrin complexation approach was chosen. In solution, the complex formation with -cyclodextrin (-CD), hydroxyethyl -cyclodextrin (HE--CD) and hydroxypropyl -cyclodextrin (HP--CD) was confirmed by using solubility, UV, IR and 1H-NMR spectrophotometric techniques. The phase solubility diagrams were categorized as AL-type. The complexing affinity of the CDs investigated were ranked as follows: -CD > HP--CD > HE--CD. The complexation thermodynamic parameters were obtained from the temperature dependence of the dissociation constants. In the solid state, differential scanning calorimetery (DSC) and optical microscopy methods were utilized to characterize the complexes. Dissolution studies showed that such molecularly encapsulated forms offered a marked improvement in the dissolution rate compared to the parent drug.  相似文献

Oxidized Pu species [Pu(V+VI)] have been found in surface waters and rainfall both from atmospheric and surface nuclear test debris. This paper presents experimental data which suggests that this oxidized Pu may be a memory of the oxidation state of239,240U formed during thermonuclear explosions, and which -decayed to239,240Pu through239,240Np following condensation on atmospheric particles.Research sponsored by the Office of Health and Environmental Research, U. Investigations on the disintegration rate of fission products of238U and239Pu are presented. The intensity of the - and -radiation of fission products were measured continuously in an interval of 1–1300 hours following the fission, offering the possibility for determining the general and specific characteristics of the individual fission products. A universal measuring procedure was elaborated for the rapid in situ determination of the dosimetric features of fission products, which is suitable for the accurate evaluation and prediction of external absorbed dose even in case of fission products of various origin and unknown composition.  相似文献

First experiments on the transmutation of long-lived129I and237Np using relativistic protons of 3.7 GeV are described. Relativistic protons generate in extended Pb-targets substancial neutron fluences. These neutrons get moderated in paraffin and are used for transmutation as follows:129I(n,)130I and237Np(n,)238Np. The isotopes130I (T 1/2-12.36 h) and238Np (T 1/2=2.117 d) were identified radiochemically. One can estimate the transmutation cross-section (n,) in the given neutron field as (129I(n,))=(10±2)b and (237Np(n,))=(140±30)b The experiments were carried out in November 1996 at the Synchrophasotron, LHE, Dubna, Russia. A combined -spectrometric and mass-spectrometric determination of237Np in spent nuclear fuels using239Np as an inherent spike has been developed. In spent fuel239Np is in radiochemical equilibrium with243Am. Neptunium in the tetravalent state is separated by TTA solvent extraction from the other actinides and most of the fission products and the -activity ratio of237Np to239Np is measured. The237Np activity is via239Np directly linked to the243Am mass in a sample, which is determined by mass-spectrometric isotope dilution analysis.  相似文献

Monosubstituted - and -alkylthiophans and -, -, and -alkylthiacyclohexanes were subjected to a comparative mass spectrometric study. The stability of the M+ ion increases on passing from - to -alkylthiophans and from - to - and -alkylthiacyclohexanes. Investigations into the transformation of hexagonal into monoclinic modification in isotactic polypropylene (iPP) were carried out. The hexagonal phase () was obtained by crystallization from a melt of iPP samples containing small molecular compounds (additives). A decline in the amount of-modification and changes of dimensions of ordering areas, perpendicular to the chain axes of iPP, was analysed at various temperatures and times of heating.The interdependence between the structure of additives and the amount of-phase occurring and also the stability of this modification during thermal treatment was observed.Obtained results indicated that only some additives play the role of moderating agents for the phase transition process.A preliminary report of this work has been presented at XIII Congress of the International Union of Crystallography (9–18 August 1984).  相似文献

The compounds, 6-per-O-(t-butyldimethylsilyl)--cyclodextrin(1), 2,3-per-O-benzyl-6-per-O-(t-butyldimethylsilyl)--cyclodextrin(2), 2,3-per-O-benzyl--cyclodextrin (3),2,3,6-per-O-benzyl--cyclodextrin (4),2,3,6-per-O-benzoyl--cyclodextrin (5), are used as keyintermediates in the synthesis of selectively substituted -CD derivatives. Simple and assignable 1H and 13C NMR spectra (chemical shifts and coupling constants) were obtained for compounds1–4 indicating C7 symmetry, 4C1 glucose conformation and major arrangement of H6, H6' atoms at the primary side. The derivative 5, however, gave very broad peaksat room temperature. The peaks could partially be assigned at 270 K, but the broadening was still present at 220 K. This implies that there exist several conformers of similar energyand C1 symmetry that continuously interchange, since there is not a single type of stabilizing interaction thatpredominates. We attributed this phenomenon to the presence of the carbonyl group, which probablydisfavors - stacking and induces random arrangements of the aromatic rings.  相似文献

(5) was converted into l-(-pyridyl)-5-[5-methyl-1,2,4-oxdiazolyl(3)]-6-azauracil (6).

The effect of mechanical grinding on the physicochemical properties of acetaminophen in the presence of three additives,- or-cyclodextrin and microcrystalline cellulose, was studied by using TLC, powder X-ray diffraction analysis, infrared spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The results indicate that the crystallinity of physical mixtures of acetaminophen and the described additives decreased with increased grinding time and formed an amorphous state when mixtures containing- or-cyclodextrin were ground with acetaminophen. We also found that the acetaminophen molecules could be included step-by-step into the cavity of-cyclodextrin molecules and formed an amorphous inclusion complex.-Cyclodextrin and microcrystalline cellulose did not form an inclusion complex with acetaminophen, but acted only to decrease the crystallinity of the ground mixtures. The mechanical grinding efficiency for acetaminophen was improved in the order of-cyclodextrin -cyclodextrin > microcrystalline cellulose.This paper is part XI of Drug Interaction in Pharmaceutical Formulations.  相似文献
