The quantum theory of Cherenkov instability of the relativistic electron beamin isotropic plasma is presented. Relativistic quantum nonlinear equations of Cherenkov beam-plasma instability are obtained. The relativistic quantum dispersion relation is derived in the linear approximation and instability development increments in extreme cases are determined.  相似文献

Using the hydrodynamic model of a homogeneous infinite plasma, the modulational instability of a laser beam with an acoustic and a helicon wave has been investigated in a piezoelectric semiconductor. The threshold electric field amplitude and the growth rate of the unstable mode have been obtained analytically and for n-InSb at 77 K the unstable mode is found to be propagating with a growth rate ≈105 s-1 when the crystal is irradiated with a 337 μm HCN laser.  相似文献

The wave excited by a coaxial probe in a beam-plasma system usually propagates as two waves which are independent of each other, i.e., a damped Trivelpiece mode of the plasma and a growing space charge wave of the beam (referred to a reactive-medium instability). While, when the beam velocity is equal to or slightly larger than the phase velocity of the plasma wave, the inverse Landau damping of the wave is observed, instead of the damped Trivelpiece mode.  相似文献

We develop a physical model and an algorithm for calculation of the specific density of power scattered by a collector in high-power gyrotrons with allowance for multiple reflections of electrons from the collector surface. Specific features of the angular and energy distributions of reflected electrons in the case of their oblique incidence on the collector surface are taken into account. Electron trajectories and the corresponding power-density distributions for typical collector systems of the gyrotrons are found. Multiple reflections of electrons significantly increase the effective collector surface and reduce the thermal load. In the framework of the shell model of light nuclei, the contribution to the scattering cross section of the second Born approximation due to the interference between the electric Coulomb interaction and the magnetic-dipole interaction is calculated. We theoretically investigate the bremsstrahlung that appears when nonrelativistic electrons are scattered in a metal target with allowance made for the polarization contribution. We take into account the interference of ordinary and polarization bremsstrahlung, the absorption of radiation in the target material, the energy losses and elastic scattering of an electron by atoms of the medium, and the coherent effects when the radiating electron interacts with the target. We analyze the influence of the target thickness on the process and the contribution of polarization bremsstrahlung to the total yield of bremsstrahlung photons as a function of the problem parameters.  相似文献

Familon emission from a dense magnetized plasma in the processes e?e?φ and e?μ?φ is investigated. The contribution of these processes to the energy losses of a supernova remnant is calculated. It is shown that, at a late stage of the cooling of a supernova remnant, the energy loss of a plasma via familon emission may become commensurate with the loss via neutrino emission. It is found that, because of asymmetry of familon emission in the process e?gm?φ, there arises a force acting on the plasma.  相似文献

很多关于等离子体鞘层的研究工作都是基于电子满足经典的麦克斯韦速度分布函数,而等离子体中的粒子具有长程电磁相互作用,使用Tsallis提出的非广延分布来描述电子更为恰当.本文建立一个具有非广延分布电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘模型,理论推导出受非广延参数q影响的玻姆判据,离子马赫数的下限数值会随着参数q的增大而减小.经过数值模拟,发现与具有麦克斯韦分布(q=1)电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘对比,具有超广延分布(q<1)和亚广延分布(q>1)电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘的结构各有不同,包括空间电势分布、离子电子密度分布、空间电荷密度分布.模拟结果显示非广延分布的参数q对碰撞等离子体磁鞘的结构具有不可忽略的影响.希望这些结论对相关的天体物理、等离子体边界问题的研究有参考价值.  相似文献
