The anionic chlorocomplexes of Au(III), Pt(IV), Pd(II), Ir(IV), Ir(III) and Rh(III) can be floated from aqueous solutions with cationic surfactants of the type RNR'3Br. The flotation behavior of each metal is reported with respect to variations of hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride concentrations, the R and R' chain lengths, initial surfactant concentrations and initial metal ion concentrations. The flotation behavior of the metals is compared to the anion-exchange selectivity coefficients and a flotation selectivity sequence of Au(III) > Pt(IV), Ir(IV), Pd(II) > Ir(III) > Rh(III) is generally observed. Nearly 100% of Au(III), Pt(IV), Ir(IV) and Pd(II) can be recovered from dilute solutions using the ion flotation procedures.  相似文献

The ion chromatography of chloro complexes of Au(III), Ir(IV), Ir(III), Os(IV), Pd(II), Pt(IV), Rh(III) and Ru(III) was investigated using anion-exchange and ion-interaction techniques involving silica-based phases. Chloride was either absent or at a very low level and the pH was high enough to enable steel-fabricated liquid chromatography equipment to be used. With anion exchange, Ir(IV), Ir(III), Os(IV) and Pt(IV) gave good stable chromatography and all produced linear calibration plots, except Ir(IV) owing to instability of the sample solution. The detection limits were Ir(III) 5, Os(IV) 10 and Pt(IV) 2 ng ml?1. The ion-interaction technique was not so successful, only Au(III) and Pd(II) giving stable chromatography. The calibration plots were slightly curved, although acceptable, and the detection limits were 10 and 30 ng ml?1 for Au (III) and Pd(II), respectively.  相似文献

A new kind of poly(N-aminoethyl)acrylamide chelating fiber was synthesized from nitrilon (an acrylonitrile-based synthetic fiber) and used for the concentration and separation of traces of noble metal ions from solution. The results showed that 16-80 ng ml (1) of Au(III), Pt(IV), Pd(IV), Ir(IV), Ru(III) and Rh(III) can be quantitatively concentrated by the fiber up to a flow rate of 20 ml min (-1) at pH 3, and can be desorbed quantitatively with an eluting agent from the fiber column with recoveries of 96-100%. For a fiber reused 10 times, the recoveries of these ions were still over 94%, and a 100-1000 times excess of Fe(III), Al(III), Ca(II), Mg(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) caused no interference in the determination of these ions by inductively-coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. The capacities of the fiber for the analytes were in the range 0.80-2.62 mol g(-1), The relative standard deviation of the method was between 0.02% and 2.6%. Recoveries of a standard added to a real sample were 96.8-99.2%. The average error for the analysis by this method for a powder sample was 3.5%. The IR spectra of the analyte-bearing fiber showed that these ions coordinated to nitrogen sites in the fiber.  相似文献

The chloroform extraction of 32 elements (Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd, Ge, Sn, Pb, V, As, Sb, Bi, Cu, Ag, Au, Mn, Re, Ga, In, Tl, Ce, Se, Te, Cr, Mo, U, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Ru and Os) from O.1-10M hydrochloric acid media in the presence of potassium ethyl xanthate has been studied. The oxidation states in which some elements react, and potential analytical separations, are discussed. Pd(II), As(III) and Se(IV) are completely extracted as ethyl xanthate complexes, Te(IV) is almost completely extracted, and Au(III) is largely extracted over the range of acid concentration investigated. Mn(II), Zn, Rh(III), Ir(IV), Ru(III), Os(IV), Cr(III), Cr(VI), Ce(III) and Ce(IV) are not extracted. Ge is partly extracted from 6-10M media as the chloro-complex. Depending on the acid concentration, the remaining elements are all partially extracted as xanthate complexes.  相似文献

An imidazoline group-containing chelating fiber was prepared by means of the reaction of nitrile groups with ethylenediamine in an hydrazine-modified polyacrylonitrile fiber. The adsorption properties of the chelating fiber for Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(IV), Ir(IV), Os(IV), Rh(III) and Ru(IV) ions, such as binding capacity, distribution coefficient, sorptive rate and quantitative elution of Au(III), Pd(II) and Pt(IV) ions were investigated. The imidazoline group-containing chelating fiber possessed high binding capacities and good adsorption kinetic properties, exhibited high affinity for noble metals in 0.1-1.0 mol/L HCl and could be efficiently re-used. After the separation of trace Au(III), Pd(II) and Pt(IV) ions from a matrix using the chelating fiber, these ions could be determined by ICP-AES with satisfactory results, and the relative standard deviation for Au(III), Pd(II) and Pt(IV) ions was less than 6%.  相似文献

Five platinum group metals, Pt(II), Ir(IV), Ru(III), Rh(III) and Os(IV) have been separated by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (TADAP) as a precolumn derivatizing reagent. The whole analysis was completed on a C(18) column in 23 min at 574 nm, with the mobile phase of methanol-water (69.5:30.5, v:v) containing 4 mmol l(-1) tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBA Br) and 10 mmol l(-1) pH6.0 acetate buffer. The detection limits (S/N=3) of Pt(II), Ir(IV), Ru(III), Rh(III) and Os(IV) were 0.39, 9.74, 1.64, 0.29 and 1.29 ng ml(-1), respectively. This method was rapid, sensitive and simple.  相似文献

The sorption of Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(IV), Rh(III), and Ir(IV) with the POLYORGS 4 complexing sorbent in the static mode was studied at room temperature and on thermal and microwave heating. It was demonstrated that the sorption of noble metals from 1 M HCl and 1 M HNO3 solutions can be substantially accelerated under the action of microwave irradiation. Based on the obtained data, the conditions of the group preconcentration of noble metals for their subsequent determination by the ETAAS and ICP AES methods were selected. The preconcentration procedure was used for the analysis of certified reference material SARM-7B (platinum-containing ore), VT-1 (copper-nickel sulfide ore), and the alloy of copper with noble metals.  相似文献

The ion flotation of 31 metal ions in hydrochloric/nitric acid solution with the cationic surfactant cetylpyridinium chloride was investigated. A 25-ml portion of 0.27-2.87 x 10(-4)M metal ion and 1.8-6.0 x 10(-4)M cetylpyridinium chloride solution in 0.17-3.4M acid mixture ([HCl]:[HNO(3)] = 2.4:1) was subjected to flotation in a cell, 22.5 cm high and 4.0 cm in diameter, for 5 min, with nitrogen bubbles. Ir(IV), Pt(IV), Ge(IV), Sn(IV), Bi(III), Au(III), Tl(III), Pd(II) and Sn(II) were floated from solution in 95-100% yield; Ru(III), Rh(III), Ir(III), Hg(II), Ag(I) and Tl(I) were partly floated, while Cr(VI), Ti(IV), Zr(IV), Ga(III), In(III), Fe(III), Sb(III), Al(III), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), CD(II) and Pb(II) were floated with less than 20% yield. The flotation behaviour of these metal ions in the mixed acid system was compared with that in hydrochloric acid. The flotation is more efficient in the mixed acid system.  相似文献

Silica gel was firstly functionalised with aminopropyltrimethoxysilane obtaining the aminopropylsilica gel (APSG). The APSG was reacted subsequently with morin yielding morin-bonded silica gel (morin-APSG). The structure was investigated and confirmed by elemental and thermogravimetric analyses, IR and (13)C NMR spectral studies. Morin-APSG was found to be highly stable in common organic solvents, acidic medium (<2molL(-1) HCl, HNO(3)) or alkaline medium up to pH 8. The separation and preconcentration of Ag(I), Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II) and Rh(III) from aqueous medium using morin-APSG was studied. The optimum pH values for the separation of Ag(I), Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II) and Rh(III) on the sorbent are 5.7, 2.2, 3.7, 3.7 and 6.8, giving rise to separation efficiencies of 43.9, 85.9, 97.7, 60.9 and 91.0%, respectively, where the activity was found to be >90% in the presence of acetate ion. The ion sorption capacity of morin-APSG towards Cu(II) at pH 5.5 was found to be 0.249mmolg(-1) where the sorption capacities of Ag(I) and Pd(II) were 0.087 and 0.121mmolg(-1) and 0.222 and 0.241mmolg(-1) at pH 2.2 and 5.7, respectively. This indicates a 1:1 and 1:2 morin/metal ratios at pH 2.2 and 5.7, respectively. Complete elution of the sorbed metal ions was carried out using 10mL (0.5molL(-1) HCl+0.01molL(-1) thiourea) in case of Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II) and Rh(III) and 10mL 0.5molL(-1) HNO(3) in case of Ag(I). Morin-APSG was successfully employed in the separation and preconcentration of the investigated precious metal ions from some spiking water samples yielding 100-folds concentration factor. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) and the T-test (|t|(1)) were calculated.  相似文献

The chloroform extraction of 30 elements (Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd, Ge, Sn, V, As, Sb, Bi, Cu, Ag, Au, Mn, Re, Ga, In, Tl, Se, Te, Cr, Mo, U, Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Ru and Ce) from 0.1-8M sulphuric acid in the presence of potassium ethyl xanthate has been studied. Pd(II), Bi, As(III), Sb(III), Se(IV) and Te(IV) are completely extracted and Au(III) is largely extracted over the range of acid concentration investigated. Fe(II), Tl(I), Rh(III) and Cr(VI) are only slightly extracted and Se(VI), Te(VI), Ru(III), Cr(III), Mn(II), Zn, Ce(IV), Ir(IV) and Ge(IV) are not extracted at all. Depending on the acid concentration, the remaining elements are all partly extracted. Results are compared with those obtained in an earlier study of the extraction of xanthate complexes from hydrochloric acid media. The processes involved in the formation of some xanthate complexes and potential analytical separations are discussed.  相似文献

The reversible sorption preconcentration of noble metals (NMs) using different schemes “sorbent–reagent–eluent” was investigated. The extraction of Au, Pd, Pt, Ir, Rh and Ru chlorocomplexes from hydrochloric acid solutions on hyper-crosslinked polysterene MN-200 in the form of ion associates with tributylamine (TBA) and 4-(n-octyl)diethylenetriamine (ODETA) was investigated. It was found that Pd, Pt and Au were quantitatively and reversibly extracted using TBA on hyper-crosslinked polysterene; the appropriate eluent for desorption was 1 M solution of HCl in ethanol. Ir, Rh and Ru under these conditions were not sorbed quantitatively. It was found that sorbent hydrophobicity is not the main characteristic that defines the efficiency of sorption of a particular NM ion associate. Different efficiencies of hyper-crosslinked polysterene MN-200 for sorption of square-planar chlorcomplexes of Pt, Pd and Au and octahedral complexes of Ir, Rh and Ru were found. For the first time, the sorbents with their own N-atoms – StrataX and StrataX-AW – were used for the sorption of Ir, Rh and Ru. Using these sorbents, the sorption of Ir was increased up to 95%, and the sorption of Ru and Rh was increased to about 40%. We can explain these results by nonspecific interaction of chlorcomplexes of Ir, Rh and Ru with ethylenediamine groups of the sorbent. Weak bases with large anions may be applied for desorption of Ir, Rh and Ru. Two schemes of dynamic sorption preconcentration of NMs from hydrochloric acid solutions were proposed – hyper-crosslinked polysterene MN-200 for the determination of Au, Pd, Pt, and StrataX-AW for Ir, Rh and Ru.  相似文献

The possibility of selective preconcentration of platinum group metal ions by Donnan dialysis was investigated. The effect of sample matrix (glycine) on self diffusion of the following platinum group metal ions Pt(IV), Pd(II), Rh(III), Ir(III) and Ir(IV) was determined. To separate a sample from the receiver electrolyte (0.5M NH4Cl), anion or cation-exchange membrane were used. Excellent selective preconcentration of Pd(II) in the sample and Ir(III) in the receiver solution was achieved. Experiments performed enable to draw some conclusion on the charge sign of glycinepalladium complexes.  相似文献

A new sorbent for noble metal ions, ensuring selective recovery of Au(III) ions from aqueous solutions containing interfering 3d metal ions, was suggested. The new functional derivative, poly(thiocarbamoylsulfostyre ne), was prepared by treatment of poly(chlorosulfostyrene) with thiourea. At the total degree of functionalization with sulfo and thiourea groups of up to 1.0, the degree of thiocarbamoylation can be controlled in the range from 10 to 75%. The composition and structure of the polymer-analogous transformation products were characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier IR spectroscopy, and thermal gravimetric analysis with IR identification of the decomposition products. Evaluation of the sorption activity of poly(thiocarbamoylsulfostyrene) has shown that the sorbent takes up Au(III) ions virtually quantitatively with high selectivity from an aqueous solution containing Co(II), Fe(III), Pd(II), and Ni(II) ions.  相似文献

A novel polyacrylaminothiourea chelating fiber was synthesized simply and rapidly from nitrilon (an acrylonitrile-based synthetic fiber), which was applied to preconcentrate and separate of trace amount of Au(Ⅲ),Pt(Ⅳ),Pd(Ⅳ) and Ir (Ⅳ) ions from solution of samples. The analyzed ions can be quantitatively concentrated by the fiber up to a flow rate of 20.0mL/min at pH2, and can also be desorbed with 15 mL of 4mol/L HCl 3% thiourea from the fiber column with recoveries of 96.5%-100%.The chelating fiber can be reused for ten times, the recoveries of these ions are still over 92%,and hundred to thousand times of excess of Fe(Ⅲ),Al(Ⅲ),Ca(Ⅱ),Mg(Ⅱ),Ni(Ⅱ),Mn(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),Zn(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ) cause no interference on the determination of the analyzed ions by inductively-coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES).The static saturation adsorption capacities of the fiber for the analytes are in the range of 1.15-2.80mmol/g.The relative standard deviations for the determination of 20.0ng/mL each of Au(Ⅲ),Pt(Ⅳ),Pd(Ⅳ)and Ir(Ⅳ) are in the range of 0.7%-3.0%.The recoveries for test from standard additions to real solution samples are between 96% and 100%.The concentration of each ion in powder sample detected by the method is in good agreement with the certified value.  相似文献

The extractibility of platinum, palladium, iridium and rhodium as a benzoylphenyl-hydroxylamine complex is demonstrated. Complexing and distribution of Pd(II), Rh(III), Ir(IV), Pt(IV) and of their complexes with tin between aqueous solutions and chloroform depending on acidity, time of reaction and concentration of metal ions are studied by the radiochemical method. The capability of being re-extracted by various reagents is examined.   相似文献

Pyridine-2-aldoiumc (I) has been found to be a sensitive reagent for the gravimetric determination of palladium(II). From chloride medium, precipitation is complete at pH 3.0-11.0, and in solution containing 1NHNO(3) to pH6.0. The compositions of the precipitates (dried at 130 degrees ) correspond to PdL(2), and PdL(2). HNO(3) (HL representing the reagent) respectively. Pd(II) can be estimated gravimetncally in presence of acetate, oxalate, tartrate, phosphate, fluoride borate, perchlorate, Cu(II), Cd, Co(II), Fe(II), Ni, Zn, Pb, Bi, Sb(III), Pt(IV), Ir(IV), Ru(III), Rh(III); Os(IV) in quantities more than twice that of Pd(II), and Ag(I), Au(III) and Fe(II) even m traces cause serious interference. The yellow uranium(VI) complex with (I) is precipitated quantitatively over the pH range 3.5-10.5 and, after washing and drying corresponds to the composition (c(6)h(5)n(2)o)(2)uo(2), The uranium(VI) complex with 6-methylpyridine-2-aldoxime (II) is precipitated quantitatively over the pH range 3.0-10.5, and after washing and drying at 120-130 degrees corresponds to UO(2),(C(7),H(7),N(2)O)(2). Both (I) and (II) are suitable for the estimation of 1-50 mg of uranium(VI) in the presence of up to 10-fold quantities ofTh(IV), La(III) and Ce(III) even when present together. Ce(IV) in quantities more than three times that of U must be reduced to Ce(III). Tartrate, citrate, phosphate, Ti(IV) and Zr interfere, but acetate, oxalate, and borate do not.  相似文献

A new poly(acrylamidrazone-hydrazide) chelating fiber has been synthesized using polyacrylonitrile fiber as a starting material. An ICP-OES method for applying the fiber to preconcentrate and separate trace Au(III) and Pd(IV) ions in solution has been established. The experiments show that 8 ng/ml Au(III) and 6 ng/ml Pd(IV) in 1000 ml of solution can be enriched quantitatively by the fiber column at a flow rate of 12 ml/min at pH 2. These ions can be desorbed quantitatively with 10 ml of 2.5% CS(NH2)2 + 6% H2SO4 containing 0.2% Fe(II) from the column at an elution rate of 6 ml/min. A fiber treated with 12M HCl or 15M HNO3 can be re-used 10 times with above 95% recoveries of Au(III) and Pd(IV), and 120–800-fold excesses of Cu(II), Mn(II), Fe(III), Al(III), Ni(II), Mg(II) and Ca(II) ions cause little interference. The RSDs are 2.0% for 8 ng/ml Au and 3.5% for 6 ng/ml Pd. The recovery of added standard in a solution sample from a metal smelter is 96.2% for Au and 100% for Pd, and the content of each ion in the sample determined by the method is in agreement with the analysed value from the smelter laboratory.  相似文献

A novel Rh(III)-imprinted amino-functionalised silica gel sorbent was prepared by a surface imprinting technique for preconcentration and separation of Rh(III) prior to its determination by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Compared with the traditional solid sorbents and non-imprinted polymer particles, the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) had higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Rh(III). The maximum static adsorption capacity of the imprinted and non-imprinted sorbent for Rh(III) was 29.86?mg?g?1 and 11.23?mg?g?1, respectively. The imprinted Rh(III) was removed with 2?mL of 3% thiourea?+?2?mol?L?1 HCl. The obtained imprinted particles exhibited excellent selectivity and rapid kinetics process for Rh(III). The relatively selective factor (αr) values of Rh(III)/Ru(III), Rh(III)/Au(III), Rh(III)/Pt(IV), Rh(III)/Ir(IV), Rh(III)/Pd(II) were 26.7, 39.0 29.2, 28.1, 43.7, respectively, which were greater than 1. The detection limit (3σ) of the method was 0.26?µg?L?1. The relative standard deviation of the method was 1.79% for eight replicate determination of 10?µg of Rh3+ in 200?mL water sample. The method was validated by analysing standard reference material (GBW 07293), the results obtained is in good agreement with standard values. The developed method was also successfully applied to the determination of trace rhodium(III) in geological samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献
