The complexes [VO(O2)Hbpa]+ (1a), [VO(O2)bpa] (1b, Hbpa = bis(picolyl)-beta-alanine), [VO(O2)heida]- (2, H2heida =N-(2-hydroxyethyl)iminodiacetic acid), [VO(O2)(3OH-pic)2]- (3a), [VO(O2)(3OH-pic)2]-/[V(O2)2(3OH-pic)2]- (3b, 3OH-pic = 3-hydroxypicolinic acid), [VO(O2)(3OH-pa)2] (6, 3OH-pa = 3-hydroxypicolylamide), [VO2(3OH-pic)2]- (4), [VO(tBuO2)(3OH-pic)2] (5) and [VO(tBuO2)(3OH-pa)2]2+ (7) have been characterised. The structures of 21a[ClO4].1b.2.25H2O, K.2H2O, [NH4].H2O and [nBu4]3b are reported. Supramolecular patterns arise from intermolecular hydrogen bonds, the relevance of which for the peroxo/hydroperoxo intermediates in oxo transfer reactions catalysed by vanadate-dependent haloperoxidases is addressed. Specific solution patterns have been analysed by 51V and 17O NMR.  相似文献

A spectrophotometric investigation of the protonation of HVO(4)(2-) has been conducted at vanadium(V) concentrations low enough (5 x 10(-5) mol dm(-3)) to prevent the formation of polynuclear ions. Equilibrium constants as well as enthalpy and entropy changes for the formation of H(2)VO(4)(-) and VO(2)(+) have been determined in ionic medium: 1.0 mol dm(-3) NaCl and NaClO(4), respectively. The percentage concentration of the neutral species, H(3)VO(4), is so low (apparently <1%) that the protonation of H(2)VO(4)(-) to form VO(2)(+) occurs virtually in a single step. The disproportionately great stability of VO(2)(+) relative to H(3)VO(4) is explained in terms of an increase in the coordination number of vanadium when the cationic species is formed. This explanation is based on a comparison of the thermodynamic quantities of the vanadium(V) species with those of various other oxyacids reported in the literature.  相似文献

Six new novel alkaline-earth metal vanadium(V) or vanadium(IV) selenites and tellurites, namely, Sr(2)(VO)(3)(SeO(3))(5), Sr(V(2)O(5))(TeO(3)), Sr(2)(V(2)O(5))(2)(TeO(3))(2)(H(2)O), Ba(3)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4), Ba(2)(VO(3))Te(4)O(9)(OH), and Ba(2)V(2)O(5)(Te(2)O(6)), have been prepared and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. These compounds exhibit six different anionic structures ranging from zero-dimensional (0D) cluster to three-dimensional (3D) network. Sr(2)(VO)(3)(SeO(3))(5) features a 3D anionic framework composed of VO(6) octahedra that are bridged by SeO(3) polyhedra. The oxidation state of the vanadium cation is +4 because of the partial reduction of V(2)O(5) by SeO(2) at high temperature. Ba(3)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4) features a 0D [(VO(2))(SeO(3))(2)](3-) anion. Sr(V(2)O(5))(TeO(3)) displays a unique 1D vanadium(V) tellurite chain composed of V(2)O(8) and V(2)O(7) units connected by tellurite groups, forming 4- and 10-MRs, whereas Sr(2)(V(2)O(5))(2)(TeO(3))(2)(H(2)O) exhibits a 2D layer consisting of [V(4)O(14)] tetramers interconnected by bridging TeO(3)(2-) anions with the Sr(2+) and water molecules located at the interlayer space. Ba(2)(VO(3))Te(4)O(9)(OH) exhibits a one-dimensional (1D) vanadium tellurite chain composed of a novel 1D [Te(4)O(9)(OH)](3-) chain further decorated by VO(4) tetrahedra. Ba(2)V(2)O(5)(Te(2)O(6)) also features a 1D vanadium(V) tellurites chain in which neighboring VO(4) tetrahedra are bridged by [Te(2)O(6)](4-) dimers. The existence of V(4+) ions in Sr(2)(VO)(3)(SeO(3))(5) is also confirmed by magnetic measurements. The results of optical diffuse-reflectance spectrum measurements and electronic structure calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) methods indicate that all six compounds are wide-band gap semiconductors.  相似文献

Four new potassium vanadyl iodates based on lone-pair-containing IO(3) and second-order Jahn-Teller distorted VO(5) or VO(6) asymmetric units, namely, α-KVO(2)(IO(3))(2)(H(2)O) (Pbca), β-KVO(2)(IO(3))(2)(H(2)O) (P2(1)2(1)2(1)), K(4)[(VO)(IO(3))(5)](2)(HIO(3))(H(2)O)(2)·H(2)O (P1), and K(VO)(2)O(2)(IO(3))(3) (Ima2) have been successfully synthesized by hydrothermal reactions. α-KVO(2)(IO(3))(2)(H(2)O) and β-KVO(2)(IO(3))(2)(H(2)O) exhibit two different types of 1D [VO(2)(IO(3))(2)](-) anionic chains. Neighboring VO(6) octahedra in the α-phase are corner-sharing into a 1D chain with the IO(3) groups attached on both sides of the chain in a uni- or bidentate bridging fashion, whereas those of VO(5) polyhedra in the β-phase are bridged by IO(3) groups into a right-handed helical chain with remaining IO(3) groups being grafted unidentately on both sides of the helical chain. The structure of K(4)[(VO)(IO(3))(5)](2)(HIO(3))(H(2)O)(2)·H(2)O contains novel isolated [(VO)(IO(3))(5)](2-) units composed of one VO(6) octahedron linked to five IO(3) groups and one terminal O(2-) anion. The structure of K(VO)(2)O(2)(IO(3))(3) exhibits a 1D [(VO)(2)O(2)(IO(3))(3)](-) chain in which neighboring VO(6) octahedra are interconnected by both oxo and bridging iodate anions. Most interestingly, three of four compounds are noncentrosymmetric (NCS), and K(VO)(2)O(2)(IO(3))(3) displays a very strong second-harmonic generation response of about 3.6 × KTP, which is phase matchable. It also has high thermal stability, a wide transparent region and moderate hardness as well as an excellent growth habit. Thermal analyses and optical and ferroelectric properties as well as theoretical calculations have also been performed.  相似文献

The hydrothermal syntheses of a family of new alkali-metal/ammonium vanadium(V) methylphosphonates, M(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) (M = K, NH(4), Rb, Tl), are described. The crystal structures of K(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) and NH(4)(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) have been determined from single-crystal X-ray data. Crystal data: K(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2), M(r) = 475.93, trigonal, R32 (No. 155), a = 7.139(3) ?, c = 19.109(5) ?, Z = 3; NH(4)(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2), M(r) = 454.87, trigonal, R32 (No. 155), a = 7.150(3) ?, c = 19.459(5) ?, Z = 3. These isostructural, noncentrosymmetric phases are built up from hexagonal tungsten oxide (HTO) like sheets of vertex-sharing VO(6) octahedra, capped on both sides of the V/O sheets by PCH(3) entities (as [PO(3)CH(3)](2-) methylphosphonate groups). In both phases, the vanadium octahedra display a distinctive two short + two intermediate + two long V-O bond distance distribution within the VO(6) unit. Interlayer potassium or ammonium cations provide charge balance for the anionic (VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) sheets. Powder X-ray, TGA, IR, and Raman data for these phases are reported and discussed. The structures of K(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) and NH(4)(VO(2))(3)(PO(3)CH(3))(2) are compared and contrasted with related layered phases based on the HTO motif.  相似文献

Five new vanadium selenites, Ca(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2), Sr(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3), Ba(V(2)O(5))(SeO(3)), Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), have been synthesized and characterized. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds exhibit one- or two-dimensional structures consisting of corner- and edge-shared VO(4), VO(5), VO(6), and SeO(3) polyhedra. Of the reported materials, A(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) (A = Sr(2+) or Pb(2+)) are noncentrosymmetric (NCS) and polar. Powder second-harmonic generation (SHG) measurements revealed SHG efficiencies of approximately 130 and 150 × α-SiO(2) for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Piezoelectric charge constants of 43 and 53 pm/V, and pyroelectric coefficients of -27 and -42 μC/m(2)·K at 70 °C were obtained for Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)) and Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), respectively. Frequency dependent polarization measurements confirmed that the materials are not ferroelectric, that is, the observed polarization cannot be reversed. In addition, the lone-pair on the Se(4+) cation may be considered as stereo-active consistent with calculations. For all of the reported materials, infrared, UV-vis, thermogravimetric, and differential thermal analysis measurements were performed. Crystal data: Ca(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3)(H(2)O)(2), orthorhombic, space group Pnma (No. 62), a = 7.827(4) ?, b = 16.764(5) ?, c = 9.679(5) ?, V = 1270.1(9) ?(3), and Z = 4; Sr(2)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3), monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (No. 12), a = 14.739(13) ?, b = 9.788(8) ?, c = 8.440(7) ?, β = 96.881(11)°, V = 1208.8(18) ?(3), and Z = 4; Ba(V(2)O(5))(SeO(3)), orthorhombic, space group Pnma (No. 62), a = 13.9287(7) ?, b = 5.3787(3) ?, c = 8.9853(5) ?, V = 673.16(6) ?(3), and Z = 4; Sr(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), orthorhombic, space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 25.161(3) ?, b = 12.1579(15) ?, c = 12.8592(16) ?, V = 3933.7(8) ?(3), and Z = 8; Pb(4)(VO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(4)(Se(2)O(5)), orthorhombic, space group Fdd2 (No. 43), a = 25.029(2) ?, b = 12.2147(10) ?, c = 13.0154(10) ?, V = 3979.1(6) ?(3), and Z = 8.  相似文献

The reaction of 5-carboalkoxypicolinic acid (5 ROpicH, R=Me, Et, iPr, sBu; 1 a-d) with vanadyl sulfate yielded the complexes [VO(H(2)O)(5 ROpic)(2)], 2 a-d, with H(2)O and one of the picolinato ligands in the equatorial positions, and the second picolinate occupying equatorial (N) and axial (O) positions. Reaction of 1 a with [NH(4)][VO(3)] yielded [NH(4)][VO(2)(5 MeOpic)(2)], [NH(4)]-3, in which the N functions of the picolinates are trans to the doubly bonded, cis-positioned oxo groups. Complexes 1 a.H(2)O, 1 b, 1 c, 2 a.3.5 H(2)O and [NH(4)]-3.4 H(2)O have been structurally characterised. A detailed pH-potentiometric solution speciation analysis of the system VO(2+)-1 a revealed a dominance of VO(5 OMepic)(2) between pH 2 and 6, with the same coordination pattern, evidenced by EPR spectroscopy, as in the crystalline solid state. In ternary systems containing physiological concentrations of the low molecular mass biogenic binders (B) lactate, oxalate, citrate or phosphate, ternary species of general composition VO(5 MeOpic)B dominate at physiological pH, with citrate being the most effective competitor for picolinate. All of the complexes trigger glucose uptake and degradation by simian virus modified mice fibroblasts at non-toxic concentrations (<100 microM), with 2 a, [VO(2)(pic)(2)](-) and [VO(2)(dipic)](-) being at least as effective as insulin. Vanadium uptake by the cells is most effective in the case of 2 a. 2 a also effectively inhibits free fatty acid release by rat adipocytes treated with epinephrine, thus mimicking the inhibition of lipolysis by insulin.  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV), BMOV or VO(ma)(2), by dioxygen have been studied by UV-vis spectroscopy in both MeOH and H(2)O media. The VO(ma)(2):O(2) stoichiometry was 4:1. In aqueous solution, the pH-dependent rate of the VO(ma)(2)/O(2) reaction to generate cis-[VO(2)(ma)(2)](-) is attributed to the deprotonation of coordinated H(2)O, the deprotonated species [VO(ma)(2)(OH)](-) being more easily oxidized (k(OH) = 0.39 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), 25 degrees C) than the neutral form VO(ma)(2)(H(2)O) (k(H)()2(O) = 0.08 M(-)(1) s(-)(1), 25 degrees C). The activation parameters for the two second-order reactions in aqueous solution were deduced from variable temperature kinetic measurements. In MeOH, VO(ma)(2) was oxidized by dioxygen to cis-VO(OMe)(ma)(2), whose structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction; the crystals were monoclinic, C2/c, with a = 28.103(1) ?, b = 7.721(2) ?, c = 13.443(2) ?, beta = 94.290(7) degrees, and Z = 8. The structure was solved by Patterson methods and was refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to R = 0.043 for 1855 reflections with I >/= 3sigma(I). The kinetic results are consistent with a mechanism involving an attack of O(2) at the V(IV) center, followed by the formation of radicals and H(2)O(2) as transient intermediates.  相似文献

The speciation in the aqueous H(+)/H(2)VO(4)(-)/phosphate (dihydrogen phosphate, P(-)) and H(+)/H(2)VO(4)(-)/H(2)O(2)/P(-) systems has been determined in the physiological medium of 0.150 M Na(Cl) at 25 degrees C. A combination of multinuclear NMR integral and chemical shift (Bruker AMX500) as well as potentiometric data (glass electrode) have been collected and treated simultaneously by the computer program LAKE. The pK(a)-values for phosphoric acid have been determined by potentiometric and (31)P NMR chemical shift data, and have been found to be 1.85 +/- 0.02, 6.69 +/- 0.02 and 11.58 +/- 0.07. The errors given are 3sigma. Altogether nine vanadate-phosphate species have been found in the ternary H(+)/H(2)VO(4)(-)/P(-) system in the pH region 1-11, with the following compositions: VP, VP(2) and V(14)P. Equilibrium is very slow in acidic solutions, requiring more than 3 months for the formation of V(14)P species. On the other hand, less than 15 min are needed for equilibration at neutral and alkaline pH. In the quaternary H(+)/H(2)VO(4)(-)/H(2)O(2)/P(-) system, four new species have been found in addition to all binary and ternary complexes. They are of VXP and VX(2)P compositions, where X denotes the peroxo ligand. (51)V and (31)P NMR chemical shifts, compositions and formation constants are given, and equilibrium conditions are illustrated in distribution diagrams as well as the fit of the model to the experimental data. Biological and medical relevance of the species is also discussed and physiological conditions are modelled.  相似文献

Red-brown crystals of a new mixed alkali oxo sulfato vanadium(V) compound Na(2)K(6)(VO)(2)(SO(4))(7), suitable for X-ray determination, have been obtained from the catalytically important binary molten salt system M(2)S(2)O(7)-V(2)O(5) (M = 80% K and 20% Na). By slow cooling of a mixture with the mole fraction X(V(2)O(5)) = 0.24 from 325 degrees C, i.e., just below the liquidus temperature, to the solidus temperature of around 300 degrees C, a dark reddish amorphous phase was obtained containing crystals of the earlier described V(V)-V(IV) mixed valence compound K(6)(VO)(4)(SO(4))(8) and Na(2)K(6)(VO)(2)(SO(4))(7) described here. This compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4(3)2(1)2 (No. 96) with a = 9.540(3) A, c = 29.551(5) A at 20 degrees C and Z = 4. It contains a distorted VO(6) octahedron with a short V-O bond of 1.552(6) A, a long one of 2.276(5) A trans to this, and four equatorial V-O bonds in the range 1.881(6)-1.960(6) A. The deformation of the VO(6) octahedron is less pronounced compared to that of the known oxo sulfato V(V) compounds. Each VO(3+) group is coordinated to five sulfate groups of which two are unidentately coordinated and three are bidentate bridging to neighboring VO(3+) groups. The length of the S-O bonds in the S-O-V bridges of the two unidentately coordinated sulfato groups are 1.551(6) A and 1.568(6) A, respectively, which are unusually long compared to our earlier measurements of sulfate groups in other V(III), V(IV), and V(V) compounds.  相似文献

51V quadrupole coupling and chemical shielding tensors have been determined from 51V magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR spectra at a magnetic field of 14.1 T for nine divalent metal metavanadates: Mg(VO3)2, Ca(VO3)2, Ca(VO3)(2).4H2O, alpha-Sr(VO3)2, Zn(VO3)2, alpha- and beta-Cd(VO3)2. The manifold of spinning sidebands (ssbs) from the central and satellite transitions, observed in the 15V MAS NMR spectra, have been analyzed using least-squares fitting and numerical error analysis. This has led to a precise determination of the eight NMR parameters characterizing the magnitudes and relative orientations of the quadrupole coupling and chemical shielding tensors. The optimized data show strong similarities between the NMR parameters for the isostructural groups of divalent metal metavanadates. This demonstrates that different types of metavanadates can easily be distinguished by their anisotropic NMR parameters. The brannerite type of divalent metal metavanadates exhibits very strong 51V quadrupole couplings (i.e., CQ = 6.46-7.50 MHz), which reflect the highly distorted octahedral environments for the V5+ ion in these phases. Linear correlations between the principal tensor elements for the 51V quadrupole coupling tensors and electric field gradient tensor elements, estimated from point-monopole calculations, are reported for the divalent metal metavanadates. These correlations are used in the assignment of the NMR parameters for the different crystallographic 51V sites of Ca(VO3)(2).4H2O, Pb(VO3)2, and Ba(VO3)2. For alpha-Sr(VO3)2, with an unknown crystal structure, the 51V NMR data strongly suggest that this metavanadate is isostructural with Ba(VO3)2, for which the crystal structure has been reported. Finally, the chemical shielding parameters for orthovanadates and mono- and divalent metal metavanadates are compared.  相似文献

Vanadyl ion substituted LiFePO(4) cathodes of the form LiFe(1-x)(VO)(x)PO(4) for 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25 have been synthesized by a rapid microwave-solvothermal process at <300 °C within 10 min. Clear evidence of vanadyl ion substitution is demonstrated, despite a large size difference between Fe(2+) and (VO)(2+), by characterizing the products structurally, spectroscopically, and electrochemically. The vanadyl ion substitution is accompanied by the formation of iron vacancies in the lattice and Fe(3)O(4) impurity phase, which increases with increasing (VO)(2+) substitution for Fe(2+) and could be removed with a magnetic stir bar. The formation of iron vacancies, along with the oxidation of some Fe(2+) to Fe(3+) to maintain charge neutrality, results in a decrease in the unit cell volume with increasing x despite the substitution of larger (VO)(2+) for Fe(2+). Charge-discharge data of the vanadyl ion substituted samples suggest suppression of the two-phase plateau behavior that is characteristic of LiFePO(4). Electrochemical data collected without any carbon coating reveal that the capacity and rate capability decreases, but the capacity retention improves with (VO)(2+) substitution.  相似文献

Several new hydrated rare earth vanadates and rare earth oxy-vanadates have been synthesized using hydrothermal techniques and characterized using single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction and infrared and UV-vis absorption spectroscopies. The hydrated rare earth vanadates adopt the space group P2(1)/m with general formula A(3)VO(5)(OH)(3) (A = Y (1), Dy (2), or La (3)) and contain anionic distorted square pyramidal [VO(5)](-6) units and AO(7) and AO(8) polyhedra. The oxy-vanadates with the general formula A(2)O(VO(4)) (A = Y (4), Dy (5; 6), or Yb (7)) form two polymorphs in either P2(1)/c or C2/c space groups and contain anionic tetrahedral [VO(4)](-4) units and nonvanadium bonded O(2-) anions in distorted [OA(4)] tetrahedra. In all cases, the vanadium ion is in the tetravalent oxidation state, and its original source was the trace V(4+) impurities in YVO(4). The observed vanadyl and equatorial vanadium-oxygen bond lengths about the square pyramid in compounds 1-3 and the tetrahedral vanadium coordination found in compounds 4-7 are unusual for V(4+). The electronic and vibrational spectra are also reported and correlated with the appropriate coordination environment.  相似文献

Bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV) (abbreviated BMOV or VO(ma)(2)) has been characterized by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy in CH(2)Cl(2), H(2)O, MeOH, and pyridine at both room and low temperatures. Spin Hamiltonian parameters for mono- and bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV) complexes [VO(ma)](+) (=[VO(ma)(H(2)O)(n)()](+), n = 2 or 3) and VO(ma)(2) (Hma = 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone, maltol) have been obtained by computer simulation (SOPHE). Configurations of solvated vanadyl/maltol complexes, VO(ma)(2)S, in solution (S = solvent) are proposed on the basis of a comparison of their hyperfine coupling constants with those obtained for related vanadium(IV) compounds in the literature. Whereas at room temperature pyridine coordinates to VO(ma)(2) in a position cis to the oxo ligand (cis isomer), in H(2)O or in MeOH solvated and unsolvated cis and trans adducts of VO(ma)(2) are all formed, with the cis isomer dominant. As expected, the coordinating ability was found to be in the order py > H(2)O approximately MeOH > CH(2)Cl(2). In aqueous solutions at room temperature and neutral pH, cis- and trans-VO(ma)(2)(H(2)O) complexes are present as major and minor components, respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of the disulfide [HpicanS](2) (HpicanS is the carboxamide based on picolinate (pic) and o-mercaptoaniline (anS); the [] brackets are used to denote disulfides) with [VOCl(2)(thf)(2)] leads to reductive scission of the disulfide bond and formation of the mixed-valence (V(IV)/V(V)) complex anion [(OVpicanS)(2)mu-O](-) (1), with the dianionic ligand coordinating through the pyridine-N atom, the deprotonated amide-N atom, and thiophenolate-S atom. Reductive cleavage of the SbondS bond is also observed as [VCl(2)(tmeda)(2)] (tmeda=tetramethylethylenediamine) is treated with the disulfides [HsalanS](2) or [HvananS](2) (HsalanS and HvananS are the Schiff bases formed between o-mercaptoaniline and salicylaldehyde (Hsal) or vanillin (Hvan), respectively), yielding the V(III) complexes [VCl(tmeda)(salanS)] (2 a), or [VCl(tmeda)(vananS)] (2 b). The disulfide bond remains intact in the aerial reaction between [HsalanS](2) and [VCl(3)(thf)(3)] to yield the V(V) complex [VOCl[salanS](2)] (3), where (salanS)(2-) coordinates through the two phenolate and one of the imine functions. The S-S bond is also preserved as [VO(van)(2)] or [VO(nap)(2)] (Hnap=2-hydroxynaphthalene-1-carbaldehyde) is treated with bis(2-aminophenyl)disulfide, [anS](2), a reaction which is accompanied by condensation of the aldehyde and the diamine, and complexation of the resulting bis(Schiff bases) [HvananS](2) or [HnapanS](2) to form the complexes [VO[vananS](2)] (4 a) or [VO[napanS](2)] (4 b). In 4 a and 4 b, the phenolate and imine functions, and presumably also one of the disulfide-S atoms, coordinate to V(IV). 2-Mercaptophenyl-2'-pyridinecarboxamide (H(2)picanS) retains its identity in the presence of V(III); reaction between [VCl(3)(thf)(3)] and H(2)picanS yields [V[picanS](2)](-) (5). The dithiophenolate 2,6-bis(mercaptophenylthio)dimethylpyridine (6 a) is oxidized, mediated by VO(2+), to the bis(disulfide) octathiadiaza-cyclo-hexaeicosane 6 b. The relevance of these reactions for the speciation of vanadium under physiological conditions is addressed. [HNEt(3)]-1.0.5 NEt(3,) 3.3 CH(2)Cl(2), [HsalanS](2), [HNEt(3)]-5, and 6 b.4 THF have been characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Reaction of VO(acac)(2) with 2-mercaptophenol (mpH(2)) in the presence of triethylamine gives the mononuclear tris complex (Et(3)NH)(2)[V(mp)(3)] (1), in which the vanadyl oxygen has been displaced. An analogous reaction using 2-mercapto-4-methylphenol (mmpH(2)) afforded (Et(3)NH)(PNP)[V(mmp)(3)] (2), which was structurally characterized. 2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna2(1 )with unit cell parameters (at -163 degrees C) a = 23.974(7) ?, b = 9.569(4) ?, c = 25.101(6) ?, and Z = 4. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is between octahedral and trigonal prismatic. Reaction of VO(acac)(2 )with the sodium salt of 2-mercaptophenol produces the vanadyl(IV) complex Na(Ph(4)P)[VO(mp)(2)].Et(2)O (3), which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P&onemacr; with unit cell parameters (at -135 degrees C) a = 12.185(4) ?, b = 12.658(4) ?, c = 14.244(4) ?, alpha = 103.19(2) degrees, beta = 100.84(2) degrees, and gamma = 114.17(2) degrees. The unit cell of 3 contains a pair of symmetry-related [VO(mp)(2)](2)(-) units bridged through vanadyl and ligand oxygen atoms by a pair of sodium ions, in addition to two PPh(4)(+) ions. The coordination geometry around the vanadium is square pyramidal, with a V=O bond length of 1.611(5) ?. 1, 2, and 3 are characterized by IR and UV-vis spectroscopies, magnetic susceptibility, EPR spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. 1 and 2 can be oxidized by I(2, )Cp(2)Fe(+), or O(2) to [V(mp)(3)](-) and [V(mmp)(3)](-), respectively, which in turn can be reduced back to the dianions by oxalate ion. These reversible redox processes can be followed by UV-vis spectroscopy.  相似文献

By using an asymmetrical 2-carboxyphenylphosphonate ligand (2-cpp(3-)), a chiral layered vanadium compound (VO)(3)(2-cpp)(2)(H(2)O)(6)·H(2)O (1) is isolated. The bulk sample is enantioenriched due to symmetry breaking on crystallization. Partial release of the coordination water molecules upon heating leads to a single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation to compound [(VO)(3)(2-cpp)(2)(H(2)O)(4)] (1a) which is centrosymmetric.  相似文献

Two new vanadates, Ba(2.5)(VO2)3(SeO3)4.H2O and La(VO2)3(TeO6).3H2O, have been synthesized by hydrothermal methods using BaCO3, Ba(OH)2.H2O, La(NO3)3.6H2O, V2O5, TeO2, and H2SeO3 as reagents. The structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Ba(2.5)(VO2)3(SeO3)4.H2O exhibits a two-dimensional layered structure consisting of VO(5) square pyramids and SeO3 polyhedra, whereas La(VO2)3(TeO6).3H2O has a three-dimensional framework structure composed of VO(4) tetrahedra and TeO6 octahedra. Infrared and Raman spectroscopy, UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis are also presented. Crystal data: Ba(2.5)(VO2)3(SeO3)4.H2O, trigonal, space group P (No. 147) with a = b = 12.8279(15) A, c = 7.2631(9) A, V = 1035.1(2) A(3), and Z = 2; La(VO2)3(TeO6).3H2O, trigonal, space group R3c (No. 161) with a = b = 9.4577(16) A, c = 23.455(7) A, V = 1816.9(7) A3, and Z = 6.  相似文献

Two novel sandwich-type polyanions containing hexagonal {V=O}(6) group (H(2)tpy)(Hbpe)(3)H[(VO)(6)(SbW(9)O(33))(2)]·2H(2)O (1) and (H(2)tcy)(6)(Hbpp)(6)H(4)[VW(12)O(40)][(VO)(6)(SbW(9)O(33))(2)](3)·30H(2)O (2) (tpy = 4-(2,3,4-tri(pyridin-4-yl)butyl)pyridine, bpe = 1,2-(4-pyridyl)ethene, tcy = 1,2,4,5-tetra(pyridin-4-yl)cyclohexanol, bpp = 1,3-bis-(4-pyridyl)propane), were reported. Both compounds are built upon the complex hydrogen bonding networks of C-H···O and N-H···O occurred among inorganic anions and organic cations. Unusual in situ organic reactions involving C-C coupling are also observed in 1 and 2 regardless of the rigid bpe or flexible bpp. Compound 2 represents a rare case in which nano-sized α-Keggin [VW(12)O(40)](4-) and sandwich-type [(VO)(6)(SbW(9)O(33))(2)](6-) anionic clusters are present in a common crystal framework.  相似文献
