太阳极轨射电望远镜(SPORT)是一颗从事太阳活动研究的卫星。重离子探测仪是其中的高能粒子探测仪的关键组成部分。鉴于重离子探测仪对多种类离子(2 ≤ Z ≤ 26)的鉴别和大范围能段(8~300 MeV/u)的测量需求,中国科学院近代物理研究所设计并研制了一套Si-CsI(Tl)望远镜探测系统样机,这套望远镜系统由1个Si探测器、1个入射面为正六边形的CsI(Tl)晶体及其专用电子学系统构成。利用兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环系统(HIRFL-CSR)提供的高品质束流对这套望远镜探测系统样机进行了在束测试,完成了种类为2 ≤ Z ≤ 18的重离子直接测量与鉴别,利用直接测量的重离子,进行外推得到,最高测量要求的300MeV/u Fe离子也在设计要求的范围内。实验结果显示这套望远镜探测器样机满足空间中对大范围能段重离子探测的设计需求,该套方案为SPORT计划中的重离子探测仪的设计及建造奠定了很好的技术基础。Solar Polar Orbit Radio Telescope (SPORT) project, aimed at solar activities and solar atmosphere, is a satellite-borne apparatus which is composed by many sub-payloads and is under development in China. High Energy Heavy Ion Telescope (HEHIT) is one of most key sub-payloads in this project, and the main purpose of HEHIT is to identify space heavy ions (2 ≤ Z ≤ 26) with a broad energy range (8~300 MeV/u). In this paper, a prototype telescope of HEHIT, which includes a silicon detector, a CsI(Tl) crystal with regular hexagonal incident plane and customized electronic system, has been developed in the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMP, CAS). To obtain the performance of the prototype telescope, this telescope was tested with high quality beams provided by the accelerator of Heavy Ions Facility and Cooler-Storage-Ring in Lanzhou (HIRFL-CSR). The heavy ions ranging from Z =2 to Z =18 were clearly identified and measured from the beam test and an extrapolation was also done reasonably and it showed that the prototype detector could meet the requirement of t Fe(Z =26) with energy up to 300 MeV/u. In a word, this prototype telescope could satisfy the requirements of the measured heavy ions in the future SPORT project and this scheme of telescope will provide a favorable technique in the future design and construction of HEHIT.  相似文献

The low energy particle detector (LEPD) is one of the main payloads onboard the China seismic electromagnetic satellite (CSES). The detector is designed to ascertain space electrons (0.1-10 MeV) and protons (2-50 MeV). It has the capability of identifying the electrons and protons, to measure the energy spectrum and the incident angle of the particles. The LEPD is made up of a silicon tracker system, a CsI (Tl) mini-calorimeter, an anti-coincidence system made by plastic scintillator, as well as electronics and a data acquisition system (DAQ). The tracker is also a kind of E-E telescope; it consists of two layers of double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSD). The signals emerging from the silicon tracker can be read out by two pieces of application specific integrated circuit (ASIC), which also can generate an event trigger for the LEPD. The functions of the DSSD system in the LEPD for charged particles were tested by 241Am @5.486 MeV α particles. The results show that the DSSD system works well, and has high performance to detect charged particles and measure the position of incident particles.  相似文献

为了评估弹核碎裂反应在碳离子肿瘤治疗中产生的影响,中国科学院近代物理研究所建立了一套探测器系统用来测量相关反应产物。这套探测系统包括起始探测器、水靶系统、带电粒子鉴别系统和中子测量系统。利用中国科学院近代物理研究所250 MeV/u 12C6+ 束打50 mm水靶的实验在束测试了这套系统的性能。实验结果表明,通过ΔE-E 和TOF-ΔE 两种粒子鉴别方法这套探测系统清楚地区分了H,He,Li,Be,B和C 等元素。通过计算不同Z 值带电碎片的微分截面得到了这些带电碎片(本工作给出元素H 和He)相应的角分布。这套探测系统中的带电粒子测量系统性能达到了设计的预期目标。For estimating the influence of the projectile breakup reaction on carbon ion tumour therapy, a detector system was built by IMP(Institute of Modern Physics), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), and used to detect the results of the reaction. The system is composed of start detector, water target system, charged fragments detector system and neutron detector system. The performance of the detector system was tested in the experiment of 5 cm thick water target bombarded by 250 MeV/u carbon beam. The results reveal that the charged fragments, such as elements H, He, Li, Be, B and C, were identified clearly by ΔE-E and ΔE-TOF techniques. The angular distributions of some charged fragments were obtained by calculating the charge-changing cross-sections of the fragments(e.g. elements H and He isotopes in our work). The test results prove that the charged fragment detector system achieves the design aim.  相似文献

在中国原子能科学研究院 HI- 1 3串列加速器上建立了用 Q3D磁谱仪动量分析和ΔE- E粒子分辨对材料表面进行高分辨的弹性反冲探测分析技术 .用 1 0 0 Me V12 7I对 C/Li F多层样品的深度分布分析表明 ,表面分辨达到 1 .2 nm.所建立的ΔE(气体 ) - E(半导体 )望远镜探测器可同时分析从轻至中重的所有元素 .实测了新光电材料 Ga N,La2 Sr Cu O4 超导膜和新超硬材料 C3N4 (Si)等样品. High resolution depth profiling technique with elastic recoil detection analysis has been developed at the HI 13 tandem accelerator of CIAE. A depth resolution of 1.2 nm was achieved at the surface of the samples with the Q3D magnetic spectrometer and the focal plane detector. From light to medium heavy elements were simultaneous analyzed with a small Δ E E telescope. The method was applied to depth profile analysis of C/LiF multilayers, La 2SrCuO 4 superconductor and GaN foil samples.  相似文献

The angular distributions of the charge exchange reaction ^1H(^6He,^6Li)n were measured in reverse kinematics with a secondary ^6He beam at the energy of 4.17 A MeV.The data were analysed in the context of a microscopic calculation.It is shown that both the ground state of ^6He and the second excited state of ^6Li(3.563MeV,0^ ) have a halo structure.  相似文献

Partially oxidized Si(111) surfaces and surfaces of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) were studied by two different ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscope (UHV-STM) systems and by an STM system working under ambient conditions, respectively. The STM current images of partially oxidized Si(111) surfaces and HOPG surfaces were analyzed by one/two-dimensional fast Fourier transformation (1D-FFT/2D-FFT). The phenomenon of temporal oscillations of tunneling current on the partially oxidized Si(111) surfaces was detected with both UHV-STM systems. Temporal as well as spatial oscillations of tunneling current appeared in highly resolved STM current images of the Si(111) surfaces simultaneously, but both kinds of oscillations could be discriminated according to their different influence on the 2D-FFT spectra of the current images, while varying the scanning range and rate. On clean HOPG surfaces only spatial oscillations of tunneling current induced by the surface structure were observed.  相似文献

A new concept of neutron detector based on Gas Electron Multiplier(GEM) technology is presented in this paper,in which a novel multi-layer high density polyethylene(HDPE) as neutron-to-proton converter is proposed and studied with Geant4 toolkit for fast 14 MeV neutron.Our preliminary results show that the detection efficiency of the detector with 400 converter units is higher than 2.3% and reconstruction accuracy of the incident neutron position is higher than 2.6%.  相似文献

The problem of the deuteron interaction with lithium nuclei,treated as a system of two coupled pointlike clusters,is formulated to calculate the cross sections of the d+Li reaction.The d+Li reaction mechanism is described using the Faddeev theory for the three-body problem of deuteron-nucleus interaction.This theory is slightly extended for calculation of the stripping processes ^6Li(d,p)^7Li,^7Li(d,p)^8 ,^6Li(d,n)^7 Be,and ^7Li(d,n)^8 Be,as well as fragmentation reactions yielding tritium,a-particles,and continuous neutrons and protons in the initial deuteron kineticenergy region Ed=0.5-20 MeV.The phase shifts found for d+^6Li and d+^7Li elastic scattering,as part of the simple optic model with a complex central potential,were used to find the cross sections for the 6^Li(d,yM)^8 and ^7Li(d,yE1)^9 Be radiation captures.The three-body dynamics role is also summarized to demonstrate its significant influence within the d+^7Li system.  相似文献

Two detector materials mica and cellulose-nitrate(CN)-85 have been used to study (14.0MeV/u) Pb Pb reaction. Events of different multiplicities were registered in mica and CN-85 detectors using the 2π-geometry technique of solid state nuclear track detection. After removing the target material from the detectors the damaged trails in the detectors were revealed as tracks by proper chemical etching. The irradiated area of each sample was scanned and events of different multiplicities were traced. The binary events were bifurcated into elastic and inelastic events. The elastic binary events and three prong events, observed in the reaction, have been used to search out coefficients Cμv in the presence of both the detectors, for the reaction under study. Using these coefficients 3- and 4-prong events have been analysed. From the detailed analysis of the results of (14.0MeV/u) Pb Pb reaction, obtained from mica and CN-85 track detectors we observed a great resemblance of results obtained from the two detectors. Combining the results of both the detectors, we report some important outcomes.  相似文献

主要介绍了利用252Cf标准裂变中子能谱刻度快脉冲LS301型液闪中子探测器的探测效率的实验方法和结果, 简要介绍了实验数据的处理过程, 得到了阈值分别为0.5, 0.7, 1.0和1.6 MeV, 以及中子能量在10 MeV以下的探测器效率, 并对测量结果进行了误差分析。同时为了检验实验结果的准确性, 将实验结果与理论计算结果进行比较, 两者在不确定度范围内符合得很好。Neutron detection efficiency of LS301 fast neutron detector was calibrated by measuring the neutron energy spectrum of 252Cf source, which has a standard fission neutron spectrum. A low mass, fast ionization chamber is used as the fission fragments detector in the time of flight(TOF) spectrometer and afforded the start signal of neutron flight. The stop signal was offered by the anode of LS301. A measured TOF spectrum was turned to the neutron energy spectrum which will be compared with the standard one. Consequently, the fast neutron detection efficiency of LS301 was obtained. Calibration procedures of experimental and data processing was given. Relative detection efficiencies were obtained separately for threshold settings of 0.5, 0.7, 1.0 and 1.6 MeV for neutron energies under 10 MeV. Experimental results accorded with theoretical efficiency curves which were calculated with the Monte Carlo code NEFF50.  相似文献

The capabilities of the Si PIN diode x‐ray detector were determined and compared with those of a standard Si(Li) detector. The x‐ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis systems assembled with these two detectors included annular radioisotope excitation sources of Cd‐109 and Fe‐55. The systems were calibrated for sensitivity and quantification was performed with fundamental parameters software. Based on the analysis of the standard reference material NIST 2710 (Montana soil), the elemental sensitivities and the limits of detection of both systems were obtained. The elemental sensitivities of the Si PIN detector for fluorescence x‐rays in the energy range up to 10 keV were comparable to those of the Si(Li) detector. At higher fluorescence x‐ray energies the sensitivity of the Si PIN detector gradually decreased and was smaller by a factor of ~4 at 20 keV. The reason was mainly the small thickness of the sensitive volume of the Si PIN diode (0.2 mm) and therefore the smaller relative efficiency of this detector. The assessed limits of detection (LODs) were comparable for the two detectors, which was mainly due to the lower spectral background of the Si PIN detector in excitation with the Cd‐109 source as a result of its smaller sensitive thickness. The accuracy of elemental determinations for the two detectors was comparable and within the limits of the assessed uncertainties, which were calculated considering all the steps of the analysis, i.e. spectrum measurement and analysis, sensitivity calibration and quantification. The telescope at a wavelength of 13.2 nm of the TESIS device of the CORONAS-PHOTON satellite is intended for imaging hot plasma (T ~ 10 MK) of the solar corona. In this paper, calibration of optical elements of the telescope is described. The transmittance of multilayer Zr/Si filters and the sensitivity and radiation resistance of the CCD-array-based detector were measured. The transmittance of filters in the operating wavelength range was 40–50% (for filters of various thicknesses); the spectral dependence of the transmittance was close to the calculated one. The transmittance of filters in the visible region was (1–2) × 10?6. The detector sensitivity was 0.01–0.1 analog-to-digital units per photon (adu/photon), the radiation resistance was better than 109 rad.  相似文献

Excited states in 20O were populated in the reaction 10Be(14C,alpha) at Florida State University (FSU). Charged particles were detected with a particle telescope consisting of 4 annularly segmented Si surface barrier detectors and gamma radiation was detected with the FSU gamma detector array. Five new states were observed below 6 MeV from the alpha-gamma and alpha-gamma-gamma coincidence data. Shell model calculations suggest that most of the newly observed states are core-excited 1p-1h excitations across the N=Z=8 shell gap. Comparisons between experimental data and calculations for the neutron-rich O and F isotopes imply a steady reduction of the p-sd shell gap as neutrons are added.  相似文献

Pulse shape discrimination (PSD) with totally depleted transmission type Si surface barrier detector in reverse mount has been investigated to identify fission fragments in the presence of elastic background in heavy ion-induced fission reactions by both numerical simulation and experimental studies. The PSD method is compared with the other conventional methods adopted to identify fission fragments with solid-state detectors such as ΔE–E telescope and single thin ΔE detector and the data for the10B +232Th fission reaction are presented. 对1.55μm波长的Si1-xGex光波导和Si1-xGex/Si多量子阱(MQW)红外探测器的集成器件结构进行了系统的分析和优化设计。优化结果为:1)对Si1-xGex光波导,Ge含量x=0.05,脊宽、高和腐蚀深度分别为8、3和2.6μm;2)对Si1-xGex/Si多量子阱红外探测器,Ge含量x=0.5,探测器由厚度为550nm、23个周期的6nmSi0.5Ge0.5+17nmSi组成,长度约2mm。结果表明,这种结构器件的内量子效率可达88%。  相似文献

Bolometric detectors used in radio-astronomical instruments such as the ESA Planck Surveyor, operate as incoherent receivers of electromagnetic radiation. Meanwhile, the optical (quasi-optical) parts of the instruments (feed horns, telescope mirrors) are conventionally designed in transmitting mode when a coherent source of radiation (supposedly, equivalent to the bolometric detector) replaces the detector and radiates the electromagnetic waves through the optical system to the sky. The rules of reciprocity in such a replacement of a detector by an “equivalent transmitter” located in a lossy (open) structure (a bolometric cavity coupled via the feed horn with the outer space) are not obvious and usually ignored. A conventional simplistic approach used in this problem may cause errors in the design of such systems. By considering simple, analytically solvable models that simulate bolometric detectors surrounded by some structures, we find the rules of reciprocity providing the necessary equivalence in replacing the receiver by an appropriate transmitter as needed for the rigorous simulations of infrared and submillimetre-wave bolometric systems.  相似文献

As important observation tools, telescopes are very useful in remote observations. We report a proof-of-principle experimental demonstration of ghost telescope scheme and show that, by measuring the intensity correlation of two light fields and only changing the position of the detector in the reference path, ghost telescope and ghost Fourier telescope can be obtained even if a single-pixel detector is fixed in Fresnel region of the object. Differences between conventional telescope and ghost telescope are also discussed.  相似文献

Most energy‐dispersive X‐ray fluorescence (EDXRF) instruments use Si diodes as X‐ray detectors. These provide very high energy resolution, but their sensitivity falls off at energies of 10–20 keV. They are well suited for measuring the K lines of elements with Z < 40, but for heavier elements, one must use K lines at low efficiency or use L or M lines that often overlap other lines. Either is a challenge for accurate quantitative analysis. CdTe detectors offer much higher efficiency at high energy but poorer energy resolution compared with Si diodes. In many important EDXRF measurements, both high and low Z elements are present. In this paper, we will compare the precision and accuracy of systems using the following: (1) a high resolution Si detector, (2) a high efficiency CdTe detector, and (3) a composite system using both detectors. We will show that CdTe detectors generally offer better analytical results than even a high resolution silicon drift detectors for K lines greater than 20 or 25 keV, whereas the high resolution Si detectors are much better at lower energies. We will also show the advantages of a combined system, using both detectors. Although a combined system would be more expensive, the increased accuracy, precision, and throughput will often outweigh the small increase in cost and complexity. The applications of CsI(T1) scintillator with photodiode read out in heavy ion-induced reaction experiment are reported.This kind of detector has been used as E detector in a ΔE-E telescope with silicon as ΔE detector,and has been used to measure the light charged particles.Time of crossing zero point method has been employed in the experiment with a new kind of electronics,and has been used to indentify the light charged particles.  相似文献
