Abstract Derivative spectrometry is applied to a spectrophotometric determination of iron with EDDHA. the effect of amount of reagent, acidity, time and temperature have also been studied. the interval of application of the method is increased to 0.16–15.36 μg Fe(III) mL?1. the reproducibility, precision and potential interferents have been investigated. the interferences due to chlorate, wolframate, molybdate, permanganate, cyanide, cromate, Cu(II), Be(II), Ce(III), Al(III), Hg(II), Sn(II) and Zn(II) are reduced in this new procedure. 相似文献

Abstract A highly sensitive spectrophotometric determination of benzoylperoxide (BPO) based on the color developing reaction between N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine (TMPD) and BPO in the presence of cerium(IV) in weakly acidic media is proposed. The calibration graph is linear in the range 0–6000 ng BPO per 10 ml with an apparent molar absorptivity of 4.73 × 105 1 mol?1 cm-1 at 612 nm. The proposed method is about 50-fold more sensitive than N-ethyl-2-naphthylamine (NENA), and application to assays of flour is described. 相似文献

Cobalt(Ⅱ) in NaOH(a.q.) can catalyze the decolorizing reaction resulting from the oxidation of dibromohydoxylphenylfluorone(DBH-PF) by H2O2(a.q.). A new catalytic spectrophotometry for determining trace Cobalt(Ⅱ) was obtained. The method has been used to determine trace Cobalt(Ⅱ) in Vitamin B12 samples. Complexes of lanthanides with N,N-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-hydroxyphenylmethanediamine (H3L) were synthesized and investigated by the elemental, IR, magnetochemical, and thermogravimetric methods. Using the data obtained, they were found to have compositions Ln2L2 · nH2O and La2L2 · MCl2 · 4H2O (Ln = La3+, Pr3+, Nd3+, Dy3+, Er3+; M = Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2+; n = 4, 6). Suggestions on their structures were made. In the interval of 20–140°C, these complexes were shown to be high-resistance semiconductors. 相似文献

The kinetic method for the determination of phosphate microamounts was described. The developed method is based on catalytic effect of phosphate on sodium pyrogallol-5-sulphonate (PS) by dissolved oxygen. The reaction was followed spectrophotometrically by measuring the rate of change in the values of the absorbance of the oxidation product at 437 nm. The optimum reaction conditions are PS (0.44×10^-3 mol·L^-1) and HClO4 (3.6×10^-6 mol·L^-1) at 25 ℃. Following this procedure, phosphate can be determined with a linear calibration graph up to 0.23 μg·mL^-1. The interference effect of several species was also investigated and it was found that the most common cations and anions did not interfere with the determination. The developed procedure was successfully applied to the determination of phosphate in natural waters and soil. 相似文献

A simple sensitive and economical method for the determination of labetalol hydrochloride has been proposed, based on the reaction of labetalol with sodium nitroprusside and hydroxylamine hydrochloride in sodium dihydrogen phosphate-sodium hydroxide buffer solution of pH 12. The green-blue color produced due to the formation of a nitroso derivative has been measured at 695 nm. The Beer's range was obeyed in the concentration range of 2-51 μg·mL^-1 with molar absorptivity of 0.48 × 10^4 L·mol^-1·cm^-1. Rigorous statistical analyses were performed for the validation of the method. A detailed investigation of the selectivity of the method has been done to find it to be highly selective for the determination of labetalol hydrochloride in the presence of its acidic degradation product and common excipients of formulations. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of labetalol hydrochloride in the laboratory prepared dosage forms. Comparison of the means of the proposed procedure with a reference method using point as well as interval hypotheses showed no statistically significant difference. The developed method was extended to investigate its applicability to biological samples. 相似文献

Abstract A kinetic method for determination of traces of Pt(IV) based on the aerobic oxidation of the hydrazone of 2-2′ dipyridylketone, in which the formation of a fluorescent product (λex = 359 nm, λem = 435 nm) takes place, is described. The reaction is followed by the measurement of the rate of appearance of the fluorescence. The proposed method suffers very few interferences. 相似文献

Bromodimethylsulfonium bromide (BDMS)–catalyzed crossed aldol condensation between aromatic aldehydes and ketones is reported to access α,α′-bis(arylmethylidene) cycloalkanones at room temperature in good yields within 3–10 min. The salient features of this method are the simplicity of the procedure, the ready accessibility of the catalyst, and greater yields in relatively short reaction times.

Abstract Recently, we reported the syntheses and the properties of a new type of N2O2 tetradentate ligands, 6,6′-bis(acylamino)-2,2′-bipyridines and their copper(II) complexes. 1. s = 5 and 10 mM) on the acid–base properties of N,N-dimethyl-N-(2-hydroxybenzyl) ethylenediamine and its complexation with copper(II) (C
s = 10 mM) was studied using the methods of potentiometry, spectrophotometry (at 298 K), and mathematical simulation of equilibria in solutions. The sodium dodecyl sulfate contributes to the formation of a monomeric form of N,N-dimethyl-N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)ethylenediamine, while this compound exists in 40% isopropyl alcohol predominantly in the form of a dimer. The acidic properties of protonated monomeric and dimeric species are weaker than those in an aqueous alcohol solution. Sodium dodecyl sulfate facilitates the coordination of the deprotonated form of ligand. The region of the predominant accumulation of an uncharged complex of 1 : 2 composition is shifted to lower pH values (11.0 and 7.5, respectively), whereas the molar absorption coefficient of the complex increases by approximately 1.7 times. The apparent stability constants of complexes of the same type increase. 相似文献
