电容层析成象是90年代以来快速发展的多相流研究方法.本文报道应用电容层析成象对循环流化床底部浓度分布的测量研究.本研究在国际上首先实现了矩形流道中的层析成象测量技术.成象中采用了迭代成象算法,明显地提高了复杂流动情况下的成象质量.测量结果显示出循环流化床底部多种气泡和固体分布情况,表明其流态与鼓泡床相吻合.  相似文献

过程层析成像技术能实时提供封闭管道、容器等过程设备内物场运动状态的二/三维测量信息,它为解决两相流参数的检测问题提供一种新的途径。本文以基于电学敏感原理的电阻层析成像技术为测量手段,实现在多相流实验装置上对气/水、油/水两相流二维/三维时空分布信息的实际测量;介绍了基于测量数据特性分析的在线流型识别技术和相含率的估计方法,应用现代数据处理和模式识别技术进行数据融合与提取,实现两相管流流型识别和分相含率的估计;通过开展相关测量的研究,初步实现两相流中离散相流量的测量。  相似文献

This work on imaging of particulate processes using electrical charge tomography uses two basic techniques: the multi-sensing of electrical charge in a cross-section of the flow pipe and a neural network based flow regime identification system to aid in the image reconstruction process. A measurement system, consisting of sixteen sensors, placed at equal distance from each other around the boundary of a circular 100 mm bore pipe, is used to determine the voltage profile of the flow for several artificially produced flow regimes: full, annular, core, half and stratified. A sand flow system is used to produce these different flow regimes, which are created artificially by using baffles of different shapes that obstruct the sand flow. The voltage profile from the sixteen sensors gives spatial information of the flow regime. These profiles are normalised and formed into patterns that are presented to a Kohonen neural network for classification. Two regime classification between clearly distinct regimes gives an accuracy of identification of 85%. Classification of closely similar patterns show much less accuracy of 30%.  相似文献

Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) is considered to be one of the most promising process tomography techniques for two-phase/multiphase flow measurement due to the advantages such as high speed, low cost and non-intrusive sensing. The iterative image reconstruction algorithm based on Bayesian theorem has been derived to solve the ERT inverse problem. It is taken into account, which is different to the existing ERT image reconstruction algorithms, including the prior probability of the permittivity distribution and the noise information in the measurement data. Both simulation and experimental data were carried out for typical two-phase flow regimes. The flow regimes are identified according to the reconstructed images of the Bayesian iteration method and conventional methods. Results obtained indicate that the Bayesian iteration method improves the reconstructed image quality with the traditional linear back projection (LBP) and reweighted least squares (RLS). Therefore, the Bayesian iteration method is suitable for identification of online two-phase flow regimes.  相似文献

Experiments on the excitation of counterpropagating zonal flows by the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) method in a rotating cylindrical vessel with a conic bottom have been performed. Flows appear in a conducting fluid layer in the field of ring magnets under the action of a radial electric field. The velocity fields have been reconstructed by the particle image velocimetry (PIV) method. In the fast rotation regimes with a thin fluid layer, where the Rossby-Obukhov scale does not exceed the characteristic sizes of the vessel, the system of perturbations appears with almost immobile blocked anticyclones in the outer part of the flow and rapidly moving cyclones in the main stream. The diagram of regimes is plotted in the variables of the relative angular velocities of the averaged zonal flow and transfer of vortices about the system rotation axis. Attention is focused on the results for the regions of the diagram with slow motion of vortices with respect to the rotating coordinate system near the parameters for stationary Rossby waves (blocking of circulation). The results are compared to the results previously obtained in similar experiments using the source-sink method.  相似文献

本文基于ECT技术和偏最小二乘回归方法建立了一套新型的两相流空隙率测量系统.该系统的数据采集单元以DSP处理器为核心,并采用USB2.0技术进行数据通讯,克服了目前ECT实时数据采集速度的瓶颈.同时,本文直接使用测量电容值并基于偏最小二乘回归方法建立了空隙率测量模型,克服了以往ECT空隙率测量时需要复杂费时的精确图像重建的缺点,提高了测量速度.实验研究表明,本文的系统是成功的,其测量精度和速度都满足实际应用的要求.  相似文献

This Letter presents a useful method that combines the full range complex Fourier domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) with the ultrahigh sensitive optical microangiography (OMAG) to achieve full range complex imaging of blood flow within microcirculatory tissue beds in vivo. We propose to use the fast scanning axis to realize the full range complex imaging, while using the slow axis to achieve OMAG imaging of blood flow. We demonstrate the proposed method by using a high speed 1310?nm OCT/OMAG system running at 92?kHz line scan rate to image the flow phantoms in vitro, and the blood flows in tissue beds in vivo.  相似文献

This paper presents an original concept for automatic determination of the time intervals for calculation of the mass flow rate of intermittent flow using a twin‐plane electrical capacitance tomography system. The concept allows a solids mass flow rate to be calculated more accurately. It is based on images of instantaneous distributions of the material inside the measured volume by means of Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT), and extraction of the appropriate flow patterns, which are further used for calculation of the mass flow rate. The preliminary results of the mass flow rate measurement using the proposed concept for gas‐solid flow during pneumatic conveying are presented.  相似文献

Effervescent atomization is one of the twin-fluid atomization methods while it has better performance in terms of smaller drop sizes and/or lower injection pressures. In order to investigate the effects of the internal flow patterns on droplet characteristics, a new kind of effervescent atomizer was designed and manufactured. The bubble forming process was visualized with a high-speed camera, while the droplet size was characterized with a LDV/PDA system. The experimental results show that there are three regimes of the two-phase flows inside the discharge orifice, one is bubbly flow, another is annular flow while the other is the intermittent flow. The flow patterns transfered from bubbly flow to intermittent flow and then to annular flow with decreasing of the water flow rate. In addition, with increasing of the working pressure or decreasing of the water flow rate, the SMD (Sauter mean diameter) of the droplets decreased and the axial mean velocity increased.  相似文献

Image reconstruction of electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) is a typical inverse problem owing to non‐linearity and ill‐posedness. At the same time, progress towards the solution of this kind of problem has been made at good speed as a branch of mathematics in the past three decades. In this paper, most of the regularization tools developed for the inverse problem are applied to the reconstruction of various simulated images by ECT. The results show promise for ECT image reconstruction by regularization methods. The non‐linearity of the sensitivity matrix seems to be the major problem.  相似文献

The emergence of electroconvection and nonlinear flows of a nonisothermal poorly conducting fluid in a steady electric field of a horizontal capacitor is investigated. The main mechanism of charge formation in the fluids under investigation is electric conduction due to the temperature dependence of the charge mobility. The Galerkin method is used for obtaining a system of nonlinear differential equations for the amplitudes of spatial modes; on the basis of this system, steady-state, periodic, and random nonlinear regimes of the fluid flow are investigated. The scenarios of transition to chaotic flows (via intermittence and a subharmonic cascade) are discovered. The interrelation between the electroconductive and thermogravitational mechanisms of convection is analyzed, and hysteretic transitions between monotonic and oscillatory regimes are studied. Qualitative comparison with the experiment is carried out.  相似文献

This paper presents a new approach to the analysis of data on powder flow from electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) using probability modelling and Bayesian statistics. The methodology is illustrated for powder flow in a hopper. The purpose, and special features, of this approach is that ‘high‐level’ statistical Bayesian modelling combined with a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling algorithm allows direct estimation of control parameters of industrial processes in contrast to usually applied ‘low‐level’, pixel‐based methods of data analysis. This enables reliable recognition of key process features in a quantitative manner. The main difficulty when investigating hopper flow with ECT is due to the need to measure small differences in particle packing density. The MCMC protocol enables more robust identification of the responses of such complex systems. This paper demonstrates the feasibility of the approach for a simple case of particulate material flow during discharging of a hopper. It is concluded that these approaches can offer significant advantages for the analysis and control of some industrial powder and other multi‐phase flow processes.  相似文献

Potential measurement can be applied to electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) systems. However, the relationship between potential and the capacitance is not well understood. This paper reveals that a potential is dependent on the capacitance ratio for a given excitation voltage, independent of capacitance themselves. The conditions for using this method are discussed. Finally, image reconstruction based on the Generic Algorithm for Electrical Capacitance Tomography (GA-ECT) is implemented satisfactorily for square and circular sensors respectively.  相似文献

采用三维照相法对垂直圆管内稀疏层流泡状流充分发展段的相分布进行了实验研究。得到了8个流动工况下均匀尺寸气泡形成的泡状流的空泡率分布以及6个流动工况下非均匀尺寸气泡形成的泡状流的总体和大、小气泡组各自的空泡率分布.实验结果表明当气泡组的平均直径小于约3.5mm时,其空泡率分布在管壁附近出现尖峰;当气泡组的平均直径大于约 3.5 mm时,其空泡率分布的尖峰移向管中心;气泡尺寸对泡状流的相分布有重要影响.  相似文献

Vortical structures behind a wing-type vortex generator (WVG) immersed in a drag-reducing flow were visualized with a fluorescence dye illuminated with a planer laser sheet to investigate the enhancement mechanism of heat transfer on the WVG-installed target wall. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) system was also used to measure the flow velocity profiles. Both the flow visualization and the velocity measurement revealed that small amounts of surfactant, Cetyl-Trimethyl-Ammonium-Chloride/ Sodium Salicylate (CTAC/NaSal), added in water changed drastically the flow patterns together with the wall heat transfer distributions due to the reduction of momentum exchange in the vortical flows behind WVG.  相似文献

In the present article magnetic field effects for CNT suspended copper nanoparticles for blood flow through composite stenosed arteries with permeable wall are discussed. The CNT suspended copper nanoparticles for the blood flow with water as base fluid is not explored yet. The equations for the CNT suspended Cu–water nanofluid are developed first time in the literature and simplified using long wavelength and low Reynolds number assumptions. Exact solutions have been evaluated for velocity, pressure gradient, the solid volume fraction of the nanoparticles and temperature profile. Effect of various flow parameters on the flow and heat transfer characteristics is utilized. It is also observed that with the increase in slip parameter blood flows slowly in arteries and trapped bolus increases.  相似文献

Motivated by its importance for microfluidic applications, we study the stability of jets formed by pressure-driven concentric biphasic flows in cylindrical capillaries. The specificity of this variant of the classical Rayleigh-Plateau instability is the role of the geometry which imposes confinement and Poiseuille flow profiles. We experimentally evidence a transition between situations where the flow takes the form of a jet and regimes where drops are produced. We describe this as the transition from convective to absolute instability, within a simple linear analysis using lubrication theory for flows at low Reynolds number, and reach remarkable agreement with the data.  相似文献
