In this paper, we discuss the existence of weak solutions to the initial and boundary value problem of a class of nonlinear degenerate parabolic equations in non-divergence form. Applying the method of parabolic regularization, we prove the existence of weak solutions to the problem. By carefully analyzing the approximate solutions to the problem, we make a series of estimates to the solutions and prove the weak convergence of the approximation solution sequence. Finally we testify the existence of weak solutions to the problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the solutions of the hyperbolic Yamabe problem for the(1 + n)-dimensional Minkowski space-time. More precisely speaking, for the case of n = 1, we derive a general solution of the hyperbolic Yamabe problem; for the case of n = 2, 3, we study the global existence and blowup phenomena of smooth solutions of the hyperbolic Yamabe problem;while for general multi-dimensional case n ≥ 2, we discuss the global existence and non-existence for a kind of exact solutions of the hyperbolic Yamabe problem.  相似文献

Motivated by some problems in Celestial Mechanics that combines quasihomogeneous potential in the anisotropic space, we investigate the existence of several families of first kind symmetric periodic solutions for a family of planar perturbed Kepler problem. In addition, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of first kind periodic solutions and also we characterize its type of stability. As an application of this general situation, we discuss the existence of symmetric periodic solutions for the anisotropic Kepler problem plus a generalized anisotropic perturbation, (shortly, p-AKPQ problem) and for the Kepler problem plus a generalized anisotropic perturbation (shortly, p-KPQ problem), as continuation of circular orbits of the two-dimensional Kepler problem. To get this objective, we consider different types of perturbations and then we apply our main result.  相似文献

This work investigates the existence of globally Lipschitz continuous solutions to a class of initial-boundary value problem of quasilinear wave equations. Applying the Lax's method and generalized Glimm's method, we construct the approximate solutions of initial-boundary Riemann problem near the boundary layer and perturbed Riemann problem away from the boundary layer. By showing the weak convergence of residuals for the approximate solutions, we establish the global existence for the derivatives of solutions and obtain the existence of global Lipschitz continuous solutions of the problem.  相似文献

In this article, we first give the representation of solutions for the oblique derivative problem of mixed (Lavrentév-Bitsadze) equations in two connected domains, afterwards prove the uniqueness of solutions of the above problem. Moreover, we prove the solvability of oblique derivative problem for quasilinear mixed (Lavrentév-Bitsadze) equations of second order, and obtain a priori estimates of solutions of the above problem. In this paper, we study a final value problem for first order abstract differential equation with positive self-adjoint unbounded operator coefficient. This problem is ill-posed. Perturbing the final condition we obtain an approximate nonlocal problem depending on a small parameter. We show that the approximate problems are well posed and that their solutions converge if and only if the original problem has a classical solution. We also obtain estimates of the solutions of the approximate problems and a convergence result of these solutions. Finally, we give explicit convergence rates.  相似文献

We study a coupled nonlinear boundary value problem which has been shown to have applications to fluid flow and heat transfer in a fluid film over a stretching surface for set values of the model parameters (one of which determines the size of the problem domain). For arbitrary values of these parameters we are able to establish the existence and uniqueness of a class of monotone solutions. Perturbation solutions are then constructed and used to approximate certain invariants for the solutions. We then study a related boundary value problem formed by imposing an additional boundary condition on one of the governing equations (which results in an ill-posed problem), and we arrive at conditions allowing for solutions to this four-parameter problem to agree with the solutions to the three-parameter problem.  相似文献

For a given multiobjective optimization problem, we study recession properties of the sets of efficient solutions and properly efficient solutions. We work out various consequences based on the obtained recession properties, including a characterization for the boundedness and nonemptiness of the set of (properly) efficient solutions when the problem is a convex problem. We also show that the boundedness and nonemptiness of the set of efficient solutions is equivalent to that of the set of properly efficient solutions under an additional mild condition. Finally, we provide some new verifiable necessary conditions for the nonemptiness of the set of efficient solutions in terms of the associated recession functions and recession cones.  相似文献

Comparison of solutions in combinatorial problems is often based on an additive cost function inducing a complete order on solutions. We investigate here a generalization of the problem, where preferences take the form of a quasi-transitive binary relation defined on the solutions space. We first propose preference-based search algorithms for two classical combinatorial problems, namely the preferred spanning trees problem (a generalization of the minimum spanning tree problem) and the preferred paths problem (a generalization of the shortest path problem). Then, we introduce a very useful axiom for preference relations called independence. Using this axiom, we establish admissibility results concerning our preference-based search algorithms. Finally, we address the problem of dealing with non-independent preference relations and provide different possible solutions for different particular problems (e.g. lower approximation of the set of preferred solutions for multicriteria spanning trees problems, or relaxation of the independence axiom for interval-valued preferred path problems).  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new method to find the periodic solutions of differential equations. The key technique is to convert the problem of finding periodic solutions of differential equations into an optimization problem. Then by solving the corresponding optimization problem, we can find the periodic solutions of differential equations. In this paper, we study the initial-boundary value problem for a class of singular parabolic equations. Under some conditions, we obtain the existence and asymptotic behavior of solutions to the problem by parabolic regularization method and the sub-super solutions method. This paper provides some new results on approximate Pareto solutions of a multiobjective optimization problem involving nonsmooth functions. We establish Fritz-John type necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for approximate Pareto solutions of such a problem. As a consequence, we obtain Fritz-John type necessary conditions for (weakly) Pareto solutions of the considered problem by exploiting the corresponding results of the approximate Pareto solutions. In this paper, we are concerned with a class of abstract second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces. First, we study the existence of mild solutions for a class of second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces on an interval [0,a]. Later, we study a couple of cases where we can establish the existence of global solutions for a class of abstract second-order nonlocal Cauchy problem with impulsive conditions in Banach spaces.
