ABSTRACT

This paper investigates the problem of master-slave synchronization of neural networks with time-varying delays via the event-triggered control (ETC). First, the proposed ETC can effectively reduce the total amount of data transmitted to the controller in the synchronization process and avoid communication channel congestion. Second, a master-slave synchronization of neural networks with time-varying delays is constructed, where delays within neural networks and the ETC are simultaneous existence. The controller is updated by the ETC. By the Lyapunov stability theory, some sufficient criteria are obtained to ensure master-slave synchronization of neural networks. Finally, a numerical example and a tunnel diode circuit example are used to verify the validity of results obtained.  相似文献

Recently many authors have studied properties of triangles and the theory of perspective triangles in the Euclidean plane (see Kimberling et al. J Geom Graph 14:1–14, 2010; Kimberling et al. http://faculty.evansville.edu/ck6/encyclopedia/ETC.html, 2012; Moses and Kimberling J Geom Graph 13:15–24, 2009; Moses and Kimberling Forum Geom 11:83–93, 2011; Odehnal Elem Math 61:74–80, 2006; Odehnal Forum Geom 10:35–40, 2010; Odehnal J Geom Graph 15: 45–67, 2011). The aim of this paper is to present a new approach to the construction of points on the Feuerbach hyperbola. Surprisingly, these points can be obtained as centers of perspectivity of a triangle ABC and a certain one-parametric set of triangles ABC′. The presented construction is based on partitions of the triangle’s sides and—in a way—dual to the construction of points on the Kiepert hyperbola. It can also be generalized to spherical triangles. The proofs are based on an affine property of triangles, which amazingly can also be used for the proof of the spherical theorem.  相似文献

In this paper we analyze properties of the analytic centers for perturbed convex problems. In particular we study the continuity of convex regions with respect to such characteristics as boundedness, full dimensionality and the existence of an analytic centre. Furthermore, we state the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the analytic centre for possibly unbounded regions and we show that the analytic centre is identical for any minimal representation of the convex set. We are also concerned with the limiting behaviour of the central path as it approaches the set of optimal solutions of the problem.  相似文献

In the first part we study the relationship between conic centers (all orbits near a singular point of center type are conics) and isochronous centers of polynomial systems. In the second part we study the number of limit cycles that bifurcate from the periodic orbits of cubic reversible isochronous centers having all their orbits formed by conics, when we perturb such systems inside the class of all polynomial systems of degree n.  相似文献

In this paper we study the regularity of geodesic Ptolemy spaces and apply our findings to metric fixed point theory. It is an open question whether such spaces with a continuous midpoint map are CAT(0) spaces. We prove that if a certain uniform continuity is imposed on such a midpoint map then these spaces, if complete, are reflexive (that is, the intersection of decreasing families of bounded closed and convex subsets is nonempty) and that bounded sequences have unique asymptotic centers. These properties will then be applied to yield a series of fixed point results specific to CAT(0) spaces.  相似文献

This paper considers an unreliable assembly network where different types of components are processed by two separate work centers before being merged at an assembly station. The operation complexity of the system is a result of finite inter-station buffers, uncertain service times, and random breakdowns that lead to blocking at the work centers and starvation at the assembly station. The objective of this study is to gain an understanding of the behavior of such systems so that we can find a way to maximize the system throughput while maintaining the required customer service level. By constructing appropriate Markov processes, we obtain the probability distribution of the production flow time and derive formulas for throughput, the loss probability of type-2 workpieces, and the mean flow time. We present expressions for average work-in-process (WIP) and study their monotone properties. Using the distribution of the flow time, a customer service level can be defined and computed. We then formulate a system optimization model that can be used to maximize the throughput while maintaining an acceptable service level.  相似文献

We investigate the spectral properties of Schrödinger operators with point interactions, focusing attention on the interplay between level repulsion (von Neumann-Wigner theorem) and the symmetry of the confi.guration of point interactions. The explicit solution of the problem allows observing level repulsion for two centers. Transient solutions for M/M/c queues are important for many purposes, in particular for staffing facilities such as call centers. In this article, we show how to use spectral analysis to find such solutions. The difficulty is that unless the number in line is bounded, one has to deal with matrices of infinite size, and hence with a countable infinite number of eigenvalues. This problem can be overcome by noting that the spectrum is dense with few exceptions. We also show how many discrete eigenvalues remain. Our theory may also work to obtain spectra for other infinite-dimensional matrices. Numerical properties of our approach are explored.  相似文献

Periodic Event-Triggered Quantized Control (PETQC) is a type of event-triggered control (ETC) that takes into account the quantization effect introduced by network transmission and only requires to measure the plant output periodically instead of continuously. In this work, we present an abstract model for the traffic generated by the dynamics of PETQC implementations. Construction of the abstract models is done in two steps. Our first step is to divide the state space into finite regions. Each region is then analyzed with LMIs to examine the event-triggering behavior. In contrast with the analogous situation for a triangle, the cevians that join the vertices of a tetrahedron to the points where the faces touch the insphere (or the exspheres) are not concurrent in general. This observation led the present author and P. Walker in [4] to devise alternative definitions of the Gergonne and Nagel centers of a tetrahedron that do not assume the concurrence of such cevians and that coincide with the ordinary definitions in the case of a triangle. They then proved that the Gergonne center exists and is unique for all tetrahedra and that the Nagel center, though unique, exists only for tetrahedra that satisfy certain conditions. In this article, we extend these definitions to simplices of any dimension. By keeping the requirement that the Gergonne center be interior and relaxing such a condition for the Nagel center, we prove that both centers exist and are unique for all simplices, thus polishing the definitions and generalizing the results of the above-mentioned article.  相似文献

The subject of this paper concerns differential-geometric properties of the Nesterov–Todd search direction for linear optimization over symmetric cones. In particular, we investigate the rescaled asymptotics of the associated flow near the central path. Our results imply that the Nesterov–Todd direction arises as the solution of a Newton system defined in terms of a certain transformation of the primal-dual feasible domain. This transformation has especially appealing properties which generalize the notion of weighted analytic centers for linear programming.  相似文献

We consider the class of polynomial differential equations x = -y+Pn(x,y), y = x + Qn(x, y), where Pn and Qn are homogeneous polynomials of degree n. Inside this class we identify a new subclass of systems having a center at the origin. We show that this subclass contains at least two subfamilies of isochro-nous centers. By using a method different from the classical ones, we study the limit cycles that bifurcate from the periodic orbits of such centers when we perturb them inside the class of all polynomial differential systems of the above form. In particular, we present a function whose simple zeros correspond to the limit cycles vvhich bifurcate from the periodic orbits of Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

Racks and quandles are rich algebraic structures that are strong enough to classify knots. Here we develop several fundamental categorical aspects of the theories of racks and quandles and their relation to the theory of permutations. In particular, we compute the centers of the categories and describe power operations on them, thereby revealing free extra structure that is not apparent from the definitions. This also leads to precise characterizations of these theories in the form of universal properties.  相似文献
