On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the theorem of the image trajectories in the Earth-Moon space, the author revisits the theorem and clarifies the relation between the class of image trajectories and the class of symmetric free-return trajectories, which were employed in the Apollo program. In a nutshell, the symmetric free-return trajectories are those image trajectories that intersect the Earth-Moon axis orthogonally at some point above the far side of the Moon. (1) We give here a new proof of the Doob–Meyer-decomposition which is rather quick and elementary. It is more general in some aspects, and weaker in other aspects if compared to other approaches. The functions are defined on a totally ordered set with image in a Hilbert space. (2) We also give a second variant of the Doob–Meyer-decomposition; it is more specialized. The paper is a contribution to the problem of approximating random set with values in a separable Banach space. This class of set-valued function is widely used in many areas.We investigate the properties of p-bounded integrable random set. Based on this we endow it with △p metric which can be viewed as a integral type hausdorff metric and present some approximation theorem of a class of convolution operators with respect to △p metric. We consider the space M(n,m)\mathcal{M}(n,m) of ordered m-tuples of distinct points in the boundary of complex hyperbolic n-space, H\mathbbCn\mathbf{H}_{\mathbb{C}}^{n}, up to its holomorphic isometry group PU(n,1). An important problem in complex hyperbolic geometry is to construct and describe the moduli space for M(n,m)\mathcal{M}(n,m). In particular, this is motivated by the study of the deformation space of complex hyperbolic groups generated by loxodromic elements. We suppose each function \(\omega ^i\) of class \(C^\infty \) in the closed unit ball of \(l^2\) , of the form \(\omega ^i(z) = \sum _k \omega ^i_k\left( z^k\right) \) , where \(\mathbf N = \bigcup I_k\) is a partition of \(\mathbf N\) , \((\) card \(I_k < +\infty )\) and \(z^k\) is the projection of \(z\) on \(\mathbf C^{I_k}\) .
