A tricyclic diketopiperazine, formally derived by coupling (2S,4S)-4-aminoproline (Pro(NH2)) and (2S,4R)-4-(carboxymethyl)proline (Pro(CH2COOH)), is synthesized starting from readily available (2S,4R)-4-hydroxyproline. The resulting tricyclic template has carboxy and amino groups to which a peptide chain may be attached. The Fmoc-protected template 5 is incorporated into the cyclic molecule cyclo(-Ala1-Asn2-Pro3-Asn4-Ala5-) ( 6 ) where Pro(NH2)7 = Pro(CH2COOH)8 represents the template, using solid-phase peptide synthesis with cyclization in solution. The molecule is shown by NMR and dynamic simulated annealing methods to adopt a preferred conformation in aqueous solution, which includes an extended backbone at the residues Asn2-Pro3-Asn4, and a type-Iβ-turn at . These studies show that this novel template may be used in the synthesis of cyclic peptide and protein mimetics having defined secondary structure in aqueous environments.  相似文献

We explore here an approach to mimic the structures and biological functions of protein loops in small synthetic molecules, by grafting the loop of interest onto an organic template comprising a bicyclic diketopiperazine, prepared by the formal coupling of (2S,4S)-4-aminoproline (Pro(NH2)) and aspartic acid (Asp). The Fmoc-protected template 4 is used to prepare cyclo(-Ala1-Asn2-Pro3-Asn4-Ala5- Ala6-Temp-) ( 5 ) and cyclo(-Ala1-Arg2-Gly3-Asp4-Temp-) ( 6 ) (where Temp = template derived from 4 ), containing the Asn-Pro-Asn-Ala (NPNA) and Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) motifs. The conformational properties of these molecules are studied in aqueous solution by NMR and simulated-annealing methods. The NPNA motif, an immunodominant epitope on the circumsporozoite surface protein of the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum, is shown to adopt a stable type-I β-turn in 5 . The template in 5 adopts a preferred conformation with Pro(NH21 ≈? ?35° and the Asp moiety χ1 ≈? 70°. A different template conformation is inferred for 6 , with Pro(NH21 ≈? 0°, but the ARGD loop appears by NMR to undergo rapid conformational averaging. Solid-phase binding assays reveal that 6 displays modest antagonist activity towards both the integrin αIIbβ3 and αvβ3 receptors.  相似文献

The template reaction of {bis[(S)-2-(aminomethyl)pyrrolidine]}copper(II) with formaldehyde, nitroethane, and base in MeOH yields optically pure {1,7-bis[(S)-pyrrolidin-2-yl]-4-methyl-4-nitro-2,6-diazaheptane}- copper(II) ([Cu((S,S)-mnppm)]2+) in high yield. The same reaction with rac-2-(aminomethyl)pyrrolidine is also described. Preparative details and spectroscopic and electrochemical properties of the CuII complexes and of the free ligands are reported and compared with structural, spectroscopic and electrochemical data of the CuII complex of the unsubstituted parent ligand 1,7-bis[(S)-pyrrolidin-2-yl]-2,6-diazaheptane (ppm). The crystal structure of [Cu(ppm)]Cl ClO4 has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

A novel template was synthesized for stabilizing β‐hairpin conformations in cyclic peptide mimetics. The template is a diketopiperazine derived formally from L ‐aspartic acid and (2S,3R,4R)‐diaminoproline, the latter being available by an efficient synthetic route from vitamin C. The template was incorporated by solid‐phase peptide synthesis into a cyclic loop mimetic containing the sequence (‐Ala‐Asn‐Pro‐Asn‐Ala‐Ala‐template‐). This mimetic was shown by NMR to adopt a stable β‐hairpin conformation in (D6)DMSO solution. The template may prove to be generally useful for creating small‐molecule mimetics of hairpin loops on proteins of diverse function.  相似文献

Crystals of a new uranyl sulfate (C2N4H8S2)[UO2(SO4)2] · 0.3H2O ( 1 ) templated by a relatively rare bis-isothiouronium cation, were formed upon evaporation of aqueous solutions containing uranyl acetate, thiourea, and excess sulfuric acid. The new compound is orthorhombic, P212121, a = 6.928(2) Å, b = 13.398(3) Å, c = 15.225(3) Å, Z = 2. Its crystal structure is comprised of [UO2(SO4)2] moieties linked by hydrogen bonds formed between the template cations and terminal oxygen atoms of the sulfate tetrahedra. The C2N4H8S22+ template is most likely formed in situ during a redox reaction between uranyl cation and thiourea in a strongly acidic medium, with UO22+ partially reduced to U4+.  相似文献

IspH/LytB, an oxygen-sensitive [4Fe-4S] enzyme, catalyzes the last step of the methylerythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway, a target for the development of new antimicrobial agents. This metalloenzyme converts (E)-4-hydroxy-3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl diphosphate (HMBPP) into the two isoprenoid precursors: isopentenyl diphosphate (IPP) and dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP). Here, the synthesis of (S)-[4-2H1]HMBPP and (R)-[4-2H1]HMBPP is reported together with a detailed NMR analysis of the products formed after their respective incubation with E. coli IspH/LytB in the presence of the biological reduction system used by E. coli to reduce the [4Fe-4S] center. (S)-[4-2H1]HMBPP was converted into [4-2H1]DMAPP and (E)-[4-2H1]IPP, whereas (R)-[4-2H1]HMBPP yielded [4-2H1]DMAPP and (Z)-[4-2H1]IPP, hence providing the direct enzymatic evidence that the mechanism catalyzed by IspH/LytB involves a rotation of the CH2OH group of the substrate to display it away from the [4Fe-4S].  相似文献

To study the conversion from a meso form to a racemic form of tetrahydrofurantetracarboxylic acid (H4L), seven novel coordination polymers were synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of Zn(NO3)2 ? 6 H2O with (2S,3S,4R,5R)‐H4L in the presence of 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), 2,2′‐bipyridine (2,2′‐bpy), or 4,4′‐bipyridine (4,4′‐bpy): [Zn2{(2S,3S,4R,5R)‐L}(phen)2(H2O)] ? 2 H2O ( 1 ), [Zn4{(2S,3R,4R,5R)‐L}{(2S,3S,4S,5R)‐L}(phen)2(H2O)2] ( 2 ), [Zn2{(2S,3S,4R,5R)‐L}(H2O)2] ? H2O ( 3 ), [Zn4{(2S,3R,4R,5R)‐L}{(2S,3S,4S,5R)‐L} (2,2′‐bpy)2(H2O)2] ? 2 H2O ( 4 ), [Zn2 {(2S,3S,4R,5R)‐L}(2,2′‐bpy)(H2O)] ( 5 ), [Zn4{(2S,3R,4R,5R)‐L}{(2S,3S,4S,5R)‐L} (4,4′‐bpy)2(H2O)2] ( 6 ), and [Zn2 {(2S,3S,4R,5R)‐L}(4,4′‐bpy)(H2O)] ? 2 H2O ( 7 ). These complexes were obtained by control of the pH values of reaction mixtures, with an initial of pH 2.0 for 1 , 2.5 for 2 , 4 , and 6 , and 4.5 for 3 , 5 , and 7 , respectively. The expected configuration conversion has been successfully realized during the formation of 2 , 4 , and 6 , and the enantiomers of L, (2S,3R,4R,5R)‐L and (2S,3S,4S,5R)‐L, are trapped in them, whereas L ligands in the other four complexes retain the original meso form, which indicates that such a conversion is possibly pH controlled. Acid‐catalyzed enol–keto tautomerism has been introduced to explain the mechanism of this conversion. Complex 1 features a simple 1D metal–L chain that is extended into a 3D supramolecular structure by π–π packing interactions between phen ligands and hydrogen bonds. Complex 2 has 2D racemic layers that consist of centrosymmetric bimetallic units, and a final 3D supramolecular framework is formed by the interlinking of these layers through π–π packing interactions of phen. Complex 3 is a 3D metal–organic framework (MOF) involving meso‐L ligands, which can be regarded as (4,6)‐connected nets with vertex symbol (45.6)(47.68). Complexes 4 and 5 contain 2D racemic layers and (6,3)‐honeycomb layers, respectively, both of which are combined into 3D supramolecular structures through π–π packing interactions of 2,2′‐bpy. The structure of complex 6 is a 2D network formed by 4,4′‐bpy bridging 1D tubes, which consist of metal atoms and enantiomers of L. These layers are connected through hydrogen bonds to give the final 3D porous supramolecular framework of 6 . Complex 7 is a 3D MOF with novel (3,4,5)‐connected (63)(42.64)(42.66.82) topology. The thermal stability of these compounds was also investigated.  相似文献

Biotransformation of (±)‐threo‐7,8‐dihydroxy(7,8‐2H2)tetradecanoic acids (threo‐(7,8‐2H2)‐ 3 ) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae afforded 5,6‐dihydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecanoic acids (threo‐(5,6‐2H2)‐ 4 ), which were converted to (5S,6S)‐6‐hydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecano‐5‐lactone ((5S,6S)‐(5,6‐2H2)‐ 7 ) with 80% e.e. and (5S,6S)‐5‐hydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecano‐6‐lactone ((5S,6S)‐5,6‐2H2)‐ 8 ). Further β‐oxidation of threo‐(5,6‐2H2)‐ 4 yielded 3,4‐dihydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decanoic acids (threo‐(3,4‐2H2)‐ 5 ), which were converted to (3R,4R)‐3‐hydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decano‐4‐lactone ((3R,4R)‐ 9 ) with 44% e.e. and converted to 2H‐labeled decano‐4‐lactones ((4R)‐(3‐2H1)‐ and (4R)‐(2,3‐2H2)‐ 6 ) with 96% e.e. These results were confirmed by experiments in which (±)‐threo‐3,4‐dihydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decanoic acids (threo‐(3,4‐2H2)‐ 5 ) were incubated with yeast. From incubations of methyl (5S,6S)‐ and (5R,6R)‐5,6‐dihydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecanoates ((5S,6S)‐ and (5R,6R)‐(5,6‐2H2)‐ 4a ), the (5S,6S)‐enantiomer was identified as the precursor of (4R)‐(3‐2H1)‐ and (2,3‐2H2)‐ 6 ). Therefore, (4R)‐ 6 is synthesized from (3S,4S)‐ 5 by an oxidation/keto acid reduction pathway involving hydrogen transfer from C(4) to C(2). In an analogous experiment, methyl (9S,10S)‐9,10‐dihydroxyoctadecanoate ((9S,10S)‐ 10a ) was metabolized to (3S,4S)‐3,4‐dihydroxydodecanoic acid ((3S,4S)‐ 15 ) and converted to (4R)‐dodecano‐4‐lactone ((4R)‐ 18 ).  相似文献

Sharpless epoxidation of (E)-1-(trimethylsilyl)[1-2H1]oct-1-en-3-o1 ( 3a ) yielded (1S,2S,3S)- and (1R,2R,3R)-1-(trimethylsilyl)-1,2-epoxy[1-2H1]octan-3-ols ( 4a and 4b , resp.) which were converted in three steps into (S)- and (R)-fluoro[ 2H1]acetic acid ( 7a and 7b , resp.) in good yields. Their high isotopic and optical purity was established by 1H- and 19F-NMR, mass, and circular-dichroism spectroscopy.  相似文献

Chiral [2H] -labelled methylene groups flanked by two double bonds within (poly)unsaturated fatty acids are readily available from trans-2,3-epoxy[2,3-2H2] alk-4-yn-l-ols, obtained in their turn by asymmetric epoxidation of the corresponding (E)-[2,3-2H2] alk-2-en-4-yn-l-ols (see Scheme 3). The procedure is exemplified for (8S,3Z,6Z,9Z)-[7,8-2H2] trideca-3,6,9-trienoic acid ((8S)- 11 ) and (8R)- 11 (Scheme 4) as well as for (5S,3Z,6Z)-[4,5?2H2]deca-3,6-dienoic acid ((5S)- 13 ) and (5R)- 13 (Scheme 5).  相似文献

A novel selenated Schiff base (S) -L 1 H has been synthesized from (2S)-1-(benzylselanyl)-3-phenylpropan-2-amine which upon reduction formed a reduced Schiff base (S) -L 2 H . Palladium (II) complexes (S) -1 and (S) -2 of ligands (S) -L 1 H and (S) -L 2 H respectively were successfully synthesized. The structures of all four compounds were thoroughly identified by analytical and various spectroscopic techniques. The absolute molecular structures of the above two complexes were further confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Both (S) -L 1 H and (S) -L 2 H coordinated as monobasic ((S) -L 1–2 ), chelating, tridentate (Se,N,O) ligands resulting in the complexes of composition (S) - [PdCl( L 1/2 )] [(S) -1/2 ]. In the crystals of complexes (S) -1 and (S) -2 , there were moderate to strong Se⋯O, CH⋯Cl and CH⋯O types of intermolecular secondary interactions. CT-DNA binding activity of these selenium-containing ligands and their palladium complexes bearing a Pd–Se bond have been evaluated for the first time by performing electronic absorption titration and fluorescence emission quenching using CT-DNA-EB and viscometric experiments. These ligands and complexes exhibited remarkable DNA binding activity as shown by their intrinsic DNA binding constants (Kb) and Stern–Volmer constants (Ksv) in the ranges 5.2–9.9 × 104 and 3.6–4.7 × 104, respectively. The viscosity of CT-DNA decreases with increasing concentration of these compounds. The results of the DNA-binding studies revealed that all of the compounds interact with DNA at a minor groove which was further confirmed by molecular docking studies.  相似文献

The synthesis and carbohydrate-recognition properties of a new family of optically active cyclophane receptors, 1 – 3 , in which three 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol spacers are interconnected by three buta-1,3-diynediyl linkers, are described. The macrocycles all contain highly preorganized cavities lined with six convergent OH groups for H-bonding and complementary in size and shape to monosaccharides. Compounds 1 – 3 differ by the functionality attached to the major groove of the 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol spacers. The major grooves of the spacers in 2 are unsubstituted, whereas those in 1 bear benzyloxy (BnO) groups in the 7,7′-positions and those in 3 2-phenylethyl groups in the 6,6′-positions. The preparation of the more planar, D3-symmetrical receptors (R,R,R)- 1 (Schemes 1 and 2), (S,S,S)- 1 (Scheme 4), (S,S,S)- 2 (Scheme 5), and (S,S,S)- 3 (Scheme 8) involved as key step the Glaser-Hay cyclotrimerization of the corresponding OH-protected 3,3′-diethynyl-1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol precursors, which yielded tetrameric and pentameric macrocycles in addition to the desired trimeric compounds. The synthesis of the less planar, C2-symmetrical receptors (R,R,S)- 2 (Scheme 6) and (S,S,R)- 3 (Scheme 9) proceeded via two Glaser-Hay coupling steps. First, two monomeric precursors of identical configuration were oxidatively coupled to give a dimeric intermediate which was then subjected to macrocyclization with a third monomeric 1,1′-binaphthalene precursor of opposite configuration. The 3,3′-dialkynylation of the OH-protected 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol precursors for the macrocyclizations was either performed by Stille (Scheme 1) or by Sonogashira (Schemes 4, 5, and 8) cross-coupling reactions. The flat D3-symmetrical receptors (R,R,R)- 1 and (S,S,S)- 1 formed 1 : 1 cavity inclusion complexes with octyl 1-O-pyranosides in CDCl3 (300 K) with moderate stability (ΔG0 ca. −3 kcal mol−1) as well as moderate diastereo- (Δ(ΔG0) up to 0.7 kcal mol−1) and enantioselectivity (Δ(ΔG0)=0.4 kcal mol−1) (Table 1). Stoichiometric 1 : 1 complexation by (S,S,S)- 2 and (S,S,S)- 3 could not be investigated by 1H-NMR binding titrations, due to very strong signal broadening. This broadening of the 1H-NMR resonances is presumably indicative of higher-order associations, in which the planar macrocycles sandwich the carbohydrate guests. The less planar C2-symmetrical receptor (S,S,R)- 3 formed stable 1 : 1 complexes with binding free enthalpies of up to ΔG0=−5.0 kcal mol−1 (Table 2). With diastereoselectivities up to Δ(ΔG0)=1.3 kcal mol−1 and enantioselectivities of Δ(ΔG0)=0.9 kcal mol−1, (S,S,R)- 3 is among the most selective artificial carbohydrate receptors known.  相似文献

Four new zinc (II) complexes [Zn (HL1H)Br2] (1), [Zn (HL1H)Cl2] (2), [Zn2(HL2)Br3] (3), and [Zn (HL2)Cl] (4) have been synthesized by adopting template synthetic strategy and utilizing two homologous Schiff base ligands (H2L1 = 4-bromo-2-{[2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-ethylimino]-methyl}-6-methoxyphenol, H2L2 = 4-bromo-2-{[3-(2-hydroxyethylamino)propylimino]methyl}-6-methoxyphenol), differing in one -CH2- unit in the ligating backbone, by adopting template synthetic strategy. All the complexes have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis as well as by other routine physicochemical techniques. Ligand mediated structural variations have been observed and rationalized by density functional theoretical (DFT) calculations. Interaction of the complexes 1–4 with Bovine Serum Albumin protein (BSA) has been studied by different spectroscopic techniques. A complete thermodynamic profile (ΔHo, ΔSo and ΔGo) was evaluated initially from the change in absorption and fluorescence spectra upon addition of BSA to the complexes. Appreciable binding constant values in the range ~ 0.94–4.51 × 104 M−1 indicate efficient binding tendency of the complexes to BSA with the sequence 1 ≅ 2 > 3 ≅ 4. Circular dichroism (CD), isothermal calorimetric titration experiments, molecular docking and molecular dynamics have been performed to gain deep insight into the binding regions of complex 1 to BSA. Experimental evidences suggest an interaction of zinc complexes at the surface of BSA protein and this particular binding has been exploited to determine unknown concentration of BSA protein. For this purpose complex 1 was explored as a BSA protein quantification tool.  相似文献

The asymmetric lactone (3 S, 4 R)-3-methyl-4-benzyloxycarbonyl-2-oxetanone ( 6 ) was anionically polymerized to give an insoluble, crystalline, highly isotactic polymer with (2 S, 3 S)-benzyl β-3-methylmalate repeating units. Solubility was achieved by copolymerization of 6 with the recemic (R, S)-butyl malolactonate ( 7 ). The semicrystalline copolymer was characterized (M̄n = 107 000, Tg = 29,6°C, Tm = 161°C, [α] = 1,5 deg · dm−1 · g−1 · cm3) and its stereosequence investigated by 13C NMR.  相似文献

The highly selective cross‐aldol addition of hydroxyacetone (HA) to p‐nitro and m‐nitrobenzaldehyde is reported; the reaction is catalyzed by three different di‐ or tripeptides all containing D‐Pro in the N‐terminal position and one or two residues of β3‐homophenylglycine (β3‐hPhg): H‐D‐Pro‐(R)‐β3‐hPhg‐OBn, H‐D‐Pro‐(R)‐β3‐hPhg‐(S)‐β3‐hPhg‐OBn and H‐D‐Pro‐[(S)‐β3‐hPhg]2‐OBn. Several reaction conditions have been tested, always in the absence of a protecting group on the HA hydroxyl. This reaction affords the desired compounds with complete regioselectivities being the other regioisomer completely avoided. Furthermore high enantioselectivities and satisfactory diastereoselectivities, always favouring the syn diastereoisomers, were obtained. The stereochemistry of the diols was further confirmed by the analysis of the 1H NMR spectrum of the corresponding carbonates, obtained by reaction of the syn/anti mixtures with triphosgene in presence of dimethylamino‐pyridine (DMAP).  相似文献

Atomically precise Cu‐rich bimetallic superatom clusters have been synthesized by adopting a galvanic exchange strategy. [Cu@Cu12(S2CNnBu2)6(C≡CPh)4][CuCl2] ( 1 ) was used as a template to generate compositionally uniform clusters [M@Cu12(S2CNnBu2)6 (C≡CPh)4][CuCl2], where M=Ag ( 2 ), Au ( 3 ). Structures of 1 , 2 and 3 were determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction and the results were supported by ESI‐MS. The anatomies of clusters 1 – 3 are very similar, with a centred cuboctahedral cationic core that is surrounded by six di‐butyldithiocarbamate (dtc) and four phenylacetylide ligands. The doped Ag and Au atoms were found to preferentially occupy the centre of the 13‐atom cuboctahedral core. Experimental and theoretical analyses of the synthesized clusters revealed that both Ag and Au doping result in significant changes in cluster stability, optical characteristics and enhancement in luminescence properties.  相似文献

Epoxides of fatty acids are hydrolyzed by epoxide hydrolases (EHs) into dihydroxy fatty acids which are of particular interest in the mammalian leukotriene pathway. In the present report, the analysis of the configuration of dihydroxy fatty acids via their respective hydroxylactones is described. In addition, the biotransformation of (±)‐erythro‐7,8‐ and ‐3,4‐dihydroxy fatty acids in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae was characterized by GC/EI‐MS analysis. Biotransformation of chemically synthesized (±)‐erythro‐7,8‐dihydroxy(7,8‐2H2)tetradecanoic acid ((±)‐erythro‐ 1 ) in the yeast S. cerevisiae resulted in the formation of 5,6‐dihydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecanoic acid ( 6 ), which was lactonized into (5S,6R)‐6‐hydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecano‐5‐lactone ((5S,6R)‐ 4 ) with 86% ee and into erythro‐5‐hydroxy(5,6‐2H2)dodecano‐6‐lactone (erythro‐ 8 ). Additionally, the α‐ketols 7‐hydroxy‐8‐oxo(7‐2H1)tetradecanoic acid ( 9a ) and 8‐hydroxy‐7‐oxo(8‐2H1)tetradecanoic acid ( 9b ) were detected as intermediates. Further metabolism of 6 led to 3,4‐dihydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decanoic acid ( 2 ) which was lactonized into 3‐hydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decano‐4‐lactone ( 5 ) with (3R,4S)‐ 5 =88% ee. Chemical synthesis and incubation of (±)‐erythro‐3,4‐dihydroxy(3,4‐2H2)decanoic acid ((±)‐erythro‐ 2 ) in yeast led to (3S,4R)‐ 5 with 10% ee. No decano‐4‐lactone was formed from the precursors 1 or 2 by yeast. The enantiomers (3S,4R)‐ and (3R,4S)‐3,4‐dihydroxy(3‐2H1)nonanoic acid ((3S,4R)‐ and (3R,4S)‐ 3 ) were chemically synthesized and comparably degraded by yeast without formation of nonano‐4‐lactone. The major products of the transformation of (3S,4R)‐ and (3R,4S)‐ 3 were (3S,4R)‐ and (3R,4S)‐3‐hydroxy(3‐2H1)nonano‐4‐lactones ((3S,4R)‐ and (3R,4S)‐ 7 ), respectively. The enantiomers of the hydroxylactones 4, 5 , and 7 were chemically synthesized and their GC‐elution sequence on Lipodex® E chiral phase was determined.  相似文献

Direct aromatic C—H bond activation in the (S a)-BINOL-derived phosphite (S a)-HL afforded the dimeric cyclopalladated complex (S a,S a)-{Pd(η2-L)(μ-Cl)}2 (2) which is the first optically active PC-palladacycle bearing a phosphorus atom in an axially chiral environment. ortho-Palladated structure of dimer 2 was confirmed by spectral (1H and 31P NMR) examination of its mononuclear derivatives and by X-ray diffraction analysis of the phosphine adduct (η2-L)PdCl(PPh3) (4). The enantiomeric purity of the starting ligand remained unchanged in the PC-palladacycle under the thermal conditions used for the cyclopalladation (∼110 °C); this fact was confirmed by the 31P NMR spectroscopy after chiral derivatization in situ of dimer (S a,S a)-2 with the (R C )-valinate chiral auxiliary (Val). trans(N,C)-Configuration of the valinate complex (η2-L)Pd(Val) (5) was established by 1H NMR and supported by DFT calculations. The chirality transfer in the new PC-palladacycle was discussed on the basis of X-ray diffraction data for the phosphine adduct rac-4 and DFT calculations performed for both phosphine and valinate mononuclear derivatives.  相似文献

The syntheses and characterization of four new linear pentadentate ligands and their CoIII complexes are described: N,N′-[(pyridine-2,6-diy)bis(methylene)]bis[sarcosine] (sarmp), N,N′-[(pyridine-2,6-diyl)bis(methylene)]bis[(R)- or (S)-proline] ((R,R)- or (S,S)-promp), N,N′-[(pyridine-2,6-diyl)bis(methylene)]bis[N-(methyl)-(R)- or (S)-alanine] ((R,R)- or (S,S)-malmp); 2,2′-[pyridine-2,6-diyl]bis[(S)- or rac-N-(acetic acid)pyrrolidine] ((S,S)- or rac-bapap). The complexes were characterized and, with but one exception, complex formation is stereospecific: Δ-exo-(R,R) (or Λ-exo-(S,S)) for promp and Λ-(R,R) (or Δ-(S,S)) for bapap. The exception is [Co((R,R)- or (S,S)-malmp)H2O]ClO4 for which two forms are obtained, to which Λ-endo-(R,R) (or Δ-endo-(S,S)) and, tentatively, Δ-unsymmetric-(R,R)- (or Λ-unsymmetric-(S,S)-) configurations are assigned. X-Ray crystal structures are presented for the complexes [Co(sarmp)H2O]ClO4, [Co((S,S)-promp)H2O]ClO4, [Co(rac-bapap)H2O]ClO4 and endo-[Co(rac-malmp)H2O]ClO4. Ligand acid dissociation and CoII and FeII complex-formation constants are reported.  相似文献

Three homologous series of chiral swallow-tailed compounds, alkyl (S)-2-{6-[4-(4′-alkoxyphenyl)benzoyloxy]-2-naphthyl}propionates, (S)HNP(p,n,q) derived from (S)-2-(6-hydroxy-2-naphthyl)propionic acid in conjugation with a variety of swallow-tailed groups, attached to the external side of the chiral centre, have been synthesized and their mesomorphic and electro-optical properties studied. Both (S)HNP(p,1,2) and (S)HNP(p,1,3) exhibited an enantiotropic antiferroelectric SmC*A phase. This implys that the swallow-tailed groups in the molecules favour zigzag pairing of the molecules in the smectic phase. The maximum P S values of compounds (S)HNP(p,1,2) in the antiferroelectric phase were measured in the range 21–30 nC cm-2; those of compounds (S)HNP(p,1,3) were in the range 15–23 nC cm-2, indicating that these chiral compounds possess low polarity. The electro-optical response of the compounds in the antiferroelectric SmC*A phase displayed thresholdless V-shaped switching.  相似文献
