The two products obtained from the reaction of 1,2-(PH(2))(2)C(6)H(4) with the mixed-metal base (n)BuLi-Sb(NMe(2))(3) in the presence of 12-crown-4, [Li(12-crown-4)(2)]+[C(6)H(4)P(3)]- (1) and {[Li(12-crown-4)(2)]+}3[Sb(11)]3- (2), represent thermodynamic sinks in which P-P and Sb-Sb bonding are maximized at the expense of P-Sb bonding, providing access to the 1,2,3-[C(6)H(4)P(3)]- phospholide anion.  相似文献

The novel copper(I)-thioantimonates(III) (C(6)N(2)H(18))(0.5)Cu(2)SbS(3) (I) (C(6)N(2)H(16) = 1,6-diaminohexane), (C(4)N(3)H(15))(0.5)Cu(2)SbS(3) (II) (C(4)N(3)H(13) = diethylenetriamine), (C(8)N(4)H(22))(0.5)Cu(2)SbS(3) (III) (C(8)N(4)H(20) = 1,4-bis(2-aminoethyl)piperazine), (C(4)N(3)H(14))Cu(3)Sb(2)S(5) (IV) (C(4)N(3)H(13) = diethylenetriamine), and (C(6)N(4)H(20))(0.5)Cu(3)Sb(2)S(5) (V) (C(6)N(4)H(18) = triethylenetetramine) were synthesized under solvothermal conditions reacting Sb, Cu, and S with the amines. The compounds I-III belong to the RCu(2)SbS(3) structure family (R = amine) and are built up of trigonal SbS(3) pyramids and two CuS(3) moieties forming 6-membered (6 MR) and 10-membered (10 MR) rings. The rings are condensed yielding single layers which are joined into [Cu(2)SbS(3)](-) double layers via Cu-S bonds. The organic ions are located between the anionic layers, and the shortest interlayer distances are 7.8 Angstroms (I), 7.4 Angstroms (II), and 8.8 Angstroms (III). The structure of the novel inorganic-organic hybrid compound IV contains one SbS(3) group, one SbS(4) unit, two CuS(3) triangles, and one CuS(4) tetrahedron. These units are joined into four-membered (4 MR) and six-membered rings (6 MR) forming a hitherto unknown strong undulated layered (Cu(3)Sb(2)S(5))(-) anion. Anions and cations are arranged in a sandwichlike manner with an interlayer distance of 6.184 A. The new composite V contains an anion with the same chemical composition as compound IV, but the structure exhibits a unique and different network topology which is constructed by two SbS(3) pyramids, two CuS(3) triangles, and one CuS(4) tetrahedron. These units are joined into 6 MR which may be described as an inorganic graphene-like layer or as a 6(3) net. Two such layers are connected via Cu-S bonds into the final double layer. The interlayer distance amounts to 6.44 Angstroms. All compounds decompose in a more or less complex manner when heated in an inert atmosphere.  相似文献

Examination of the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reduction system that allowed isolation of the (N(2))(3-) radical has led to the first evidence of Y(2+) in solution. The deep-blue solutions obtained from Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3) and KC(8) in THF at -35 °C under argon have EPR spectra containing a doublet at g(iso) = 1.976 with a 110 G hyperfine coupling constant. The solutions react with N(2) to generate (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(3-) complexes {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)) (1) and {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)] (2), respectively, and demonstrate that the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reaction can proceed through an Y(2+) intermediate. The reactivity of (N(2))(3-) radical with proton sources was probed for the first time for comparison with the (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(4-) chemistry. Complex 2 reacts with [Et(3)NH][BPh(4)] to form {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-N(2)H(2)), the first lanthanide (N(2)H(2))(2-) complex derived from dinitrogen, as well as 1 as a byproduct, consistent with radical disproportionation reactivity.  相似文献

The reaction of the potassium beta-diiminate KL (L = [{N(Ar)C(H)}(2)CPh](-); Ar = C(6)H(3)Pr(i)(2)-2,6) with PI(3) unexpectedly produced a phosphenium salt of the intermolecularly C,C-coupled ligand [P(I){N(Ar)CH}(2)C(C(6)H(4)-4)C(Ph)(CH[double bond, length as m-dash]NAr)(2)](+)[I(3)](-), while an intramolecularly N,N-coupled salt [N[upper bond 1 start](Ar)C(H)C(Ph)C(H)N[upper bond 1 end](Ar)](+)[I(5)](-) was isolated from KL + I(2).  相似文献

Manganocene, Cp(2)Mn, has been employed as a precursor in the synthesis of a range of Mn(II) dimers of the type [CpMn(micro-X)](2)[X = 8-NHC(9)H(6)N (1), N(Ph)(C(5)H(4)N)(2), N(4-EtC(6)H(4))(C(5)H(4)N)(3) and C[triple bond]CPh (4)] as well as the bis-adduct [Cp(2)Mn[HN=C(NMe(2))(2)](2)](5). The solid-state structures of 1-5 are reported. Variable-temperature magnetic measurements have been used to assess the extent of Mn(micro-X)Mn communication within the dimers of 1-4 as a function of the bridging ligands (X).  相似文献

Aryl bromides react with (H(2)NCH(2)CH(2))(3)N in a reaction catalyzed by Pd(2)(dba)(3) in the presence of BINAP and NaO-t-Bu to give the arylated derivatives (ArylNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N [Aryl = C(6)H(5) (1a), 4-FC(6)H(4) (1b), 4-t-BuC(6)H(4) (1c), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (1d), 3,5-Ph(2)C(6)H(3) (1e), 3,5-(4-t-BuC(6)H(4))(2)C(6)H(3) (1f), 2-MeC(6)H(4) (1g), 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2) (1h)]. Reactions between (ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N (Ar = C(6)H(5), 4-FC(6)H(4), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3), and 3,5-Ph(2)C(6)H(3)) and Mo(NMe(2))(4) in toluene at 70 degrees C lead to [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]Mo(NMe(2)) complexes in yields ranging from 64 to 96%. Dimethylamido species (Ar = 4-FC(6)H(4), 3,5-Me(2)C(6)H(3)) could be converted into paramagnetic [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl species by treating them with 2,6-lutidinium chloride in tetrahydrofuran (THF). The "direct reaction" between 1a-f and MoCl(4)(THF)(2) in THF followed by 3 equiv of MeMgCl yielded [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl species (3a-f) in high yield. If 4 equiv of LiMe instead of MeMgCl are employed in the direct reaction, then [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoMe species are formed. Tungsten species, [(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]WCl, could be prepared by analogous "direct" methods. Cyclic voltammetric studies reveal that MoCl complexes become more difficult to reduce as the electron donating ability of the [ArylNCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]3- ligand increases, and the reductions become less reversible, consistent with ready loss of chloride from ([(ArNHCH(2)CH(2))(3)N]MoCl)(-). Tungsten complexes are more difficult to reduce, and reductions are irreversible on the CV time scale.  相似文献

Alkylation of (ArNHCH2CH2){(2-C5H4N)CH2}NH with RX [RX = MeI, 4-CH2=CH(C6H4)CH2Cl) and (2-C5H5N)CH2Cl] in the presence of base has allowed access to the sterically demanding multidentate nitrogen donor ligands, {(2,4,6-Me3C6H2)NHCH2CH2}{(2-C5H4N)CH2}NMe (L1), {(2,6-Me3C6H3)NHCH2CH2}{(2-C5H4N)CH2}NCH2(C6H4)-4-CH=CH2 (L2) and (ArNHCH2CH2){(2-C5H4N)CH2}2N (Ar = 2,4-Me2C6H3 L3a, 2,6-Me2C6H3 L3b) in moderate yield. L3 can also be prepared in higher yield by the reaction of (NH2CH2CH2){(2-C5H4N)CH2}2N with the corresponding aryl bromide in the presence of base and a palladium(0) catalyst. Treatment of L1 or L2 with MCl2 [MCl2 = CoCl2.6H2O or FeCl2(THF)1.5] in THF affords the high spin complexes [(L1)MCl2](M = Co 1a, Fe 1b) and [(L2)MCl2](M = Co 2a, Fe 2b) in good yield, respectively; the molecular structure of reveals a five-coordinate metal centre with bound in a facial fashion. The six-coordinate complexes, [(L3a)MCl2](M = Co 3a, Fe 3b, Mn 3c) are accessible on treatment of tripodal L3a with MCl2. In contrast, the reaction with the more sterically encumbered leads to the pseudo-five-coordinate species [(L3b)MCl2](M = Co 4a, Fe 4b) and, in the case of manganese, dimeric [(L3b)MnCl(mu-Cl)]2 (4c); in 4a and 4b the aryl-substituted amine arm forms a partial interaction with the metal centre while in 4c the arm is pendant. The single crystal X-ray structures of , 1a, 3b.MeCN, 3c.MeCN, 4b.MeCN and 4c are described as are the solution state properties of 3b and 4b.  相似文献

(R)-[1-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]benzene reacts with nBuLi in a 1:1 molar ratio in pentane to quantitatively yield a unique hetero-aggregate (2 a) containing the lithiated arene, unreacted nBuLi, and the complexed parent arene in a 1:1:1 ratio. As a model compound, [Li(4)(C(6)H(4)CH(Me)NMe(2)-2)(2)(nBu)(2)] (2 b) was prepared from the quantitative redistribution reaction of the parent lithiated arene Li(C(6)H(4)CH(Me)NMe(2)-2) with nBuLi in a 1:1 molar ratio. The mono-Et(2)O adduct [Li(4)(C(6)H(4)CH(Me)NMe(2)-2)(2)(nBu)(2)(OEt(2))] (2 c) and the bis-Et(2)O adduct [Li(4)(C(6)H(4)CH(Me)NMe(2)-2)(2)(nBu)(2)(OEt(2))(2)] (2 d) were obtained by re-crystallization of 2 b from pentane/Et(2)O and pure Et(2)O, respectively. The single-crystal X-ray structure determinations of 2 b-d show that the overall structural motifs of all three derivatives are closely related. They are all tetranuclear Li aggregates in which the four Li atoms are arranged in an almost regular tetrahedron. These structures can be described as consisting of two linked dimeric units: one Li(2)Ar(2) dimer and a hypothetical Li(2)nBu(2) dimer. The stereochemical aspects of the chiral Li(2)Ar(2) fragment are discussed. The structures as observed in the solid state are apparently retained in solution as revealed by a combination of cryoscopy and (1)H, (13)C, and (6)Li NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The reactions of [Et(4)N](3)[Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(4)] (1) with RX (R = Me, Et, n-Pr; X = I) in MeCN form the monoalkylated antimony complexes [Et(4)N](2)[RSb{Fe(CO)(4)}(3)] (R = Me, 2; R = Et, 4; R = n-Pr, 6) and the dialkylated antimony clusters [Et(4)N][R(2)Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(2)] (R = Me, 3; R = Et, 5; R = n-Pr, 7), respectively. When [Et(4)N](3)[Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(4)] reacts with i-PrI, only the monoalkylated antimony complex [Et(4)N](2)[i-PrSb{Fe(CO)(4)}(3)] (8) is obtained. The mixed dialkylantimony complex [Et(4)N][MeEtSb{Fe(CO)(4)}(2)] (9) also can be synthesized from the reaction of 2 with EtI. While the reaction with Br(CH(2))(2)Br produces [Et(4)N](2)[BrSb{Fe(CO)(4)}(3)] (10), treatment with Cl(CH(2))(3)Br forms the monoalkylated product [Et(4)N](2)[Cl(CH(2))(3)Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(3)] (11) and a dialkylated novel antimony-iron complex [Et(4)N][{&mgr;-(CH(2))(3)}Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(3)] (12). On the other hand, the reaction with Br(CH(2))(4)Br forms the monoalkylated antimony product and the dialkylated antimony complex [Et(4)N][{&mgr;-(CH(2))(4)}Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(2)] (13). Complexes 2-13 are characterized by spectroscopic methods or/and X-ray analyses. On the basis of these analyses, the core of the monoalkyl clusters consists of a central antimony atom tetrahedrally bonded to one alkyl group and three Fe(CO)(4) fragments and the dialkyl products are structurally similar to the monoalkyl clusters, with the central antimony bonded to two alkyl groups and two Fe(CO)(4) moieties in each case. The dialkyl complex 3 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.014(8) ?, b = 11.527(8) ?, c = 17.085(5) ?, beta = 105.04(3) degrees, V = 2475(2) ?(3), and Z = 4. Crystals of 12 are orthorhombic, of space group Pbca, with a = 14.791(4) ?, b = 15.555(4) ?, c = 27.118(8) ?, V = 6239(3) ?(3), and Z = 8. The anion of cluster 12 exhibits a central antimony atom bonded to three Fe(CO)(4) fragments with a -(CH(2))(3)- group bridging between the Sb atom and one Fe(CO)(4) fragment. This paper discusses the details of the reactions of [Et(4)N](3)[Sb{Fe(CO)(4)}(4)] with a series of alkyl halides and dihalides. These reactions basically proceed via a novel double-alkylation pathway, and this facile methodology can as well provide a convenient route to a series of alkylated antimony-iron carbonyl clusters.  相似文献

The deoxygenation of the mixed-metal polyoxoanion [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)NbW(5)O(19) with benzoyl chloride in dichloromethane forms quantitatively the condensed polyoxanion [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)(NbW(5)O(18))(2)O, in which two polyoxoanion fragments are linked together by a Nb-O-Nb oxo bridge. The product is characterized by a strong IR band at 692 cm(-)(1) assigned to a Nb-O-Nb stretch and a broad single (93)Nb NMR resonance at 975 ppm. Partial hydrolysis of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)(NbW(5)O(18))(2)O to NbW(5)O(19)O(3)(-) in wet acetonitrile was observed by IR and (17)O NMR spectroscopy. The reaction of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)(NbW(5)O(18))(2)O with a variety of alcohols and phenol forms alkoxide-derivatized polyoxoanions [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)Nb(OR)W(5)O(18) (R = methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, cholesteryl, phenyl). The similarity of the IR spectra of these deriviatives suggests that functionalization occurs at the terminal NbO oxygen. A crystallographic study of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](4)(NbW(5)O(18))(2)O revealed a crystallographically imposed linear Nb-O-Nb oxo bridge (Nb-O(bridge) = 1.887(3) ?) and a structure in which the terminal tungsten-oxo bonds on the adjoining polyoxoanion fragments are eclipsed. Crystal data: orthorhombic, Cmca; Z = 4, a = 15.817(2) ?, b = 17.870(2) ?, c = 35.058(2) ?; V = 9928.0(10) ?(3); R = 5.52%.  相似文献

Reduction at ambient temperature of each of the lithium benzamidinates [Li(L(1))(tmeda)] or [{Li(L(2))(OEt(2))(2)}(2)] with four equivalents of lithium metal in diethyl ether or thf furnished the brown crystalline [Li(3)(L(1))(tmeda)] (1) or [Li(thf)(4)][Li(5)(L(2))(2)(OEt(2))(2)] (2), respectively. Their structures show that in each the [N(R(1))C(R(3))NR(2)](3-) moiety has the three negative charges largely localised on each of N, N' and R = Aryl); a consequence is that the "aromatic" 2,3- and 5,6-CC bonds of R(3) approximate to being double bonds. Multinuclear NMR spectra in C(6)D(6) and C(7)D(8) show that 1 and 2 exhibit dynamic behaviour. [The following abbreviations are used: L(1) = N(SiMe(3))C(Ph)N(SiMe(3)); L(2) = N(SiMe(3))C(C(6)H(4)Me-4)N(Ph); tmeda = (Me(2)NCH(2)-)(2); thf = tetrahydrofuran.] This reduction is further supported by a DFT analysis.  相似文献

Two tridentate thioether pincer ligands, 1,3-(RSCH(2))(2)C(6)H(4) (R = (t)()Bu, 1a; R = (i)()Pr, 1b) underwent cyclometalation using [(COE)(2)RhCl](2) in air/moisture-free benzene at room temperature. The resultant complexes, [mu-ClRh(H)(RSCH(2))(2)C(6)H(3)-2,6](2) (R = (t)Bu, 2a; R = (i)Pr, 2b) are dimeric both in the solid state and in solution. A battery of variable-temperature one- and two-dimensional (1)H NMR experiments showed conclusively that both complexes undergo dynamic exchange in solution. Exchange between two dimeric diastereomers of 2a in solution occurred via rotation about the Rh-C(ipso) bond. The dynamic exchange of 2b was significantly more complex as an additional exchange mechanism, sulfur inversion, occurred, which resulted in the exchange between several diastereomers in solution.  相似文献

Proton transport along different axes in an organic-inorganic compound [(C(6)H(10)N(2))(2)(SO(4))(2)·3H(2)O](n) (1) was investigated, revealing that proton transport is not only influenced by the structure of the proton transport pathway, but also by the order-disorder extent of proton carriers.  相似文献

The reaction of [PPN](3)[Re(7)C(CO)(21)] with Hg(2)(NO(3))(2).2H(2)O in dichloromethane formed the complex [PPN](4)[(Re(7)C(CO)(21)Hg)(2)] ([PPN](4)[1]), isolated in 60% yield. Analogous salts of [1](4-) with [PPh(4)](+) and [NEt(4)](+) were also prepared. The crystal structure of [PPN](4)[1] showed that two carbidoheptarhenate cores are linked by a dimercury(I) unit (d(Hg-Hg) = 2.610(4) A), with each individual mercury atom face-bridging. Oxidative cleavage of the Hg-Hg bond in [1](4-) was effected by 4-bromophenyl disulfide to form [Re(7)C(CO)(21)HgSC(6)H(4)Br](2-) ([4](2-)), by I(2) to form [Re(7)C(CO)(21)HgI](2-) ([5](2-)), and by Br(2) to form [Re(7)C(CO)(21)HgBr](2-) ([6](2-)). Oxidation of [1](4-) by ferrocenium ion (2 equiv) in the presence of tetramethylthiourea resulted in the derivative [Re(7)C(CO)(21)HgSC(NMe(2))(2)](-) ([7](-)). The molecular structure of [PPN][7] was determined by X-ray crystallography. This is the first example of a carbidoheptarhenate-mercury complex with a neutral ligand on mercury, and ligand exchange was demonstrated by displacement with triethylphosphine. Complex [7](-) can also be prepared by protonating [Re(7)C(CO)(21)HgO(2)CCH(3)](2-) in the presence of tetramethylthiourea. Cyclic voltammetry data to calibrate and compare the redox properties of compounds [1](4-) and [7](-) have been measured.  相似文献

Six metal carbido-carbonyl clusters have been isolated and recognized as members of a multivalent family based on the dioctahedral Rh(10)(C)(2) frame, with variable numbers of CO ligands, AuPPh(3) moieties, and anionic charge: [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(x)(AuPPh(3))(y)](n-) (x = 18, 20; y = 4, 5, 6; n = 0, 1, 2). Anions [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(18)(AuPPh(3))(4)](-) ([2](-)) and [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(18)(AuPPh(3))(4)](2-) ([2](2-)) have been obtained by the reduction of [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(18)(AuPPh(3))(4)] (2) under N(2), while [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(18)(AuPPh(3))(5)](-) ([3](-)) was obtained from [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(20)(AuPPh(3))(4)] (1) by reduction under a CO atmosphere. [3](-) can be better obtained by the addition of AuPPh(3)Cl to [2](2-). [Rh(10)(C)(2)(CO)(18)(AuPPh(3))(6)] (4) is obtained from [3](-) and 2 as well by the reduction and subsequent addition of AuPPh(3)Cl. The molecular structures of [2](2-) ([NBu(4)](+) salt), [3](-) ([NMe(4)](+) salt), and 4 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The redox activities of complexes 1, 2 and [3](-) have been investigated by electrochemical and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) techniques. The data from EPR spectroscopy have been accounted for by theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The structural characterization of two new sodium phenolate complexes, containing ortho-amino substituents, enables the influence of intramolecular coordination on the aggregation of sodium phenolate complexes to be determined. Crystals of hexameric [NaOC(6)H(4)(CH(2)NMe(2))-2](6) (1a) are monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 11.668(4) ?, b = 18.146(4) ?, c = 14.221(5) ?, beta = 110.76(3) ?, V = 2815.5(16) ?(3), and Z = 2; R = 0.0736 for 2051 reflections with I > 2.0sigma(I). Complex 1a contains a unique Na(6)O(6) core, consisting of two face-fused cubes, with the ortho-amino substituent of each phenolate coordinating to a sodium atom. In addition, two of the phenolate ligands have an eta(2)-arene interaction with an additional sodium atom in the core. Crystals of dimeric [(NaOC(6)H(2)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6-Me-4)(HOC(6)H(2)(CH(2)NMe(2))(2)-2,6-Me-4)](2) (2b) are triclinic, space group P&onemacr;, with a = 10.0670(8) ?, b = 10.7121(7) ?, c = 27.131(3) ?, alpha = 92.176(8) degrees, beta = 99.928(8) degrees, gamma = 106.465(6) degrees, V = 2752.1(4) ?(3), and Z = 2; R = 0.0766 for 5329 reflections with I > 2.0sigma(I). Dimeric complex 2b contains two phenolate ligands, which bridge the two sodium atoms, each coordinating with one ortho-amino substituent to a sodium atom, while the second available ortho-amino substituent remains pendant. The coordination sphere of each sodium atom is completed by a (neutral) bidentate O,N-coordinated parent phenol molecule. The second ortho-amino substituent of this neutral phenol is involved in a hydrogen bridge with its acidic hydrogen. On the basis of these two new crystal structures and previously reported solid state structures for sodium phenolate complexes, it is shown that the introduction of first one and then two ortho-amino substituents into the phenolate ligands successively lowers the degree of association of these complexes in the solid state. In this process, the basic Na(2)O(2) building block of the molecular structures remains intact.  相似文献

The compounds (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y, Tb, Yb, and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), with Ln = La, Sm, Eu, were obtained by reactions of the group 3 metals yttrium and lanthanum as well as the lanthanides europium, samarium, terbium, and ytterbium with 2-(2-pyridyl)-benzimidazole. The reactions were carried out in melts of the amine without any solvent and led to two new groups of homoleptic rare earth pyridylbenzimidazolates. The trivalent rare earth atoms have an eightfold nitrogen coordination of four chelating pyridylbenzimidazolates giving an ionic structure with either pyridylbenzimidazolium or [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)](+) counterions. With Y, Eu, Sm, and Yb, single crystals were obtained whereas the La- and Tb-containing compounds were identified by powder methods. The products were investigated by X-ray single crystal or powder diffraction and MIR and far-IR spectroscopy, and with DTA/TG regarding their thermal behavior. They are another good proof of the value of solid-state reaction methods for the formation of homoleptic pnicogenides of the lanthanides. Despite their difference in the chemical formula, both types (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y (1), Tb (2), Yb (3), and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), Ln = La (4), Sm (5), Eu (6), crystallize isotypic in the tetragonal space group I4(1). Paramagnetic diruthenium(III) complexes (acac)(2)Ru(III)(mu-OC(2)H(5))(2)Ru(III)(acac)(2) (6) and [(acac)(2)Ru(III)(mu-L)Ru(III)(acac)(2)](ClO(4))(2), [7](ClO(4))(2), were obtained via the reaction of binucleating bridging ligand, N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)-1,4-phenylenediamine [(NC(5)H(4))(2)-N-C(6)H(4)-N-(NC(5)H(4))(2), L] with the monomeric metal precursor unit (acac)(2)Ru(II)(CH(3)CN)(2) in ethanol under aerobic conditions. However, the reaction of L with the metal fragment Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(EtOH)(2)(2+) resulted in the corresponding [(bpy)(2)Ru(II) (mu-L) Ru(II)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4))(4), [8](ClO(4))(4). Crystal structures of L and 6 show that, in each case, the asymmetric unit consists of two independent half-molecules. The Ru-Ru distances in the two crystallographically independent molecules (F and G) of 6 are found to be 2.6448(8) and 2.6515(8) A, respectively. Variable-temperature magnetic studies suggest that the ruthenium(III) centers in 6 and [7](ClO(4))(2) are very weakly antiferromagnetically coupled, having J = -0.45 and -0.63 cm(-)(1), respectively. The g value calculated for 6 by using the van Vleck equation turned out to be only 1.11, whereas for [7](ClO(4))(2), the g value is 2.4, as expected for paramagnetic Ru(III) complexes. The paramagnetic complexes 6 and [7](2+) exhibit rhombic EPR spectra at 77 K in CHCl(3) (g(1) = 2.420, g(2) = 2.192, g(3) = 1.710 for 6 and g(1) = 2.385, g(2) = 2.177, g(3) = 1.753 for [7](2+)). This indicates that 6 must have an intermolecular magnetic interaction, in fact, an antiferromagnetic interaction, along at least one of the crystal axes. This conclusion was supported by ZINDO/1-level calculations. The complexes 6, [7](2+), and [8](4+) display closely spaced Ru(III)/Ru(II) couples with 70, 110, and 80 mV separations in potentials between the successive couples, respectively, implying weak intermetallic electrochemical coupling in their mixed-valent states. The electrochemical stability of the Ru(II) state follows the order: [7](2+) < 6 < [8](4+). The bipyridine derivative [8](4+) exhibits a strong luminescence [quantum yield (phi) = 0.18] at 600 nm in EtOH/MeOH (4:1) glass (at 77 K), with an estimated excited-state lifetime of approximately 10 micros.  相似文献

The amine hydrogen atoms of the cyclic trimeric silazane [Me(2)SiNH](3) are readily replaced by the H(2)Al. NMe(3) group in a simple aminolyis reaction of [Me(2)SiNH](3) with H(3)Al.NMe(3) to afford the aluminum amides (Me(2)SiNAlH(2).NMe(3))(n)(Me(2)SiNH)(3-n) (1, n = 3; 2, n = 1; 4, n = 2). The monosubstituted amide 2 could not be isolated, because it undergoes condensation to the tricyclic compound 1,1',2,2'-(HAlNMe(3))(2) (3). Contrary to these results the analogous reactions of the more flexible cyclic tetrameric silazane [Me(2)SiNH](4) with H(3)Al.NMe(3) did not give simple aluminum amides, but complicated mixtures were obtained from which the interesting polycyclic species Al(5)C(22)H(73)N(10)Si(8).C(6)H(6) (5) and Al(6)C(22)H(76)N(10)Si(8).1/4 C(6)H(14) (6) could be isolated in low yields. A key step in the formation of 5 and 6 is a low-temperature dehydrosilylation reaction which leads to cleavage of the silazane ring. Compounds 1, 3, and 4 were characterized spectroscopically ((1)H, (13)C, (27)Al NMR and FTIR) and by single crystal X-ray diffraction, whereas 5 and 6 were characterized by X-ray diffraction only. Thermolysis experiments involving 1 and 3 indicate that the onset of Al-N bond formation via dehydrosilylation is accompanied by loss of trimethylamine and formation of larger aggregates, which are stable to further silane elimination to at least 620 degrees C.  相似文献
