We reported the Ho:YAP laser pumped by the Tm:YAP laser. The Ho:YAP laser maximum output power was 4.91 W when the incident power was 10.1 W with the threshold of 2.63 W. The slope efficiency was 63.7%, corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 48.6%. The Ho:YAP output wavelength was centered at 2118.2 nm with bandwidth of about 1 nm. We estimate the beam quality to be M2 = 1.29.  相似文献

The lasing characteristics of Tm:LuAG at room temperature are reported. The maximum output power at 2.023-μm wavelength is 4.91 W and the slope efficiency is 25.39%. The mode matching between pump mode and laser mode is optimized by changing the pump beam waist radius and its location. Different output couplers are used to realize the optimal laser output. The relationship between operation temperature and output power is also discussed.  相似文献

A doubly resonant ZnGeP2 (ZGP) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a novel Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser was demonstrated. Cryogenic Tin(5 at.-%), Ho(0.5 at.-%):GdVO4 laser with high pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 10 kHz at 2.05 μm was employed as pumping source of ZGP OPO. The 15-mm-long ZGP crystal, 55° cut for I-type phase-matching with low absorption coefficient less than 0.05 cm^-1 at 2 μm, was placed in a piano-piano cavity with resonator length of 30 mm. The ZGP OPO generated a total combined output power of 1.2 W at 3.75 and 4.52 μm under pumping power of 5.3 W, corresponding to slope efficiency of 40% from incident 2μm laser power to midinfrared (Mid-IR) output. A widely tunable range from 3.0 to 6.5 μm was achieved by changing the crystal angle only 3.5°.  相似文献

为了使CTH∶YAG激光器的设计得到更好的优化,从晶体光谱吸收特性、离子间能量转移过程及准三能级运转方式对CTH∶YAG激光器的工作特性进行了理论分析;依据速率方程理论建立了CTH∶YAG激光器运转的理论模型.模拟能量输出与试验结果较好的吻合,验证了此理论模型描述CTH∶YAG激光器运转规律的合理性.模拟结果表明:CTH∶YAG激光器的激光脉冲输出与泵浦有较长的时间延迟且伴随较强的驰豫振荡,冷却温度对激光输出产生较大的影响.  相似文献

We present a 2.09 μm single-longitudinal-mode sandwich-type YAG/Ho:YAG/YAG ceramic laser pumped by a Tm-doped fiber laser for the first time. A pair of F-P etalons was used to achieve tunable single-longitudinal-mode operation. The maximum single-longitudinal-mode output power of 530 mW at 2091.4 nm was obtained with an absorbed pump power of 8.06 W, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 6.6% and a slope efficiency of 12.7%. Wavelength tunable was achieved by tuning the angle of etalons and the wavelength could be tuned from 2091.1 nm to 2092.1 nm, corresponding to a tuning frequency of 68 GHz. The M2 factor was measured to be 1.23.  相似文献

We demonstrated the highly efficient continuous wave(CW)and Q-switched infrared laser from a diodeside-pumped Nd:YAG crystal.A CW output as high as 66 W at 1319 nm was achieved under the pump power of 460 W,corresponding to a coversion efficiency of 14.3%.A maximum average power of 8.9 W of TEM00 mode was obtained in Q-switched operation at the repetition rate of 8 kHz.The performance of the laser considering the thermal lens effect induced by pump power Was also analyzed.  相似文献

We demonstrated continuous-wave (CW) and Q-switched operation of a Tm,Ho:YAP ring laser at 77 K. The maximum CW output power of 2 W at 2130.7 nm was obtained under the incident pump power of 12 W, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 23% and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 16.7%. For the Q-switched regime the maximum output energy of 5 mJ with the pulse width of 160 ns at the repetition rate of 100 Hz was achieved, corresponding to a peak power of 31.25 kW.  相似文献

We have investigated acoustic-optical Q-switched Tm,Ho:YLF laser end-pumped by a laser-diode. At room temperature, a 2.067 μm wavelength pulsed output is realized. Average output power, single pulse energy and pulse-width are measured at different incident pump powers and pulse repetition frequencies. When the incident pump power is 2.8 W, a maximum average output power of 189 mW is obtained at the repetition frequency of 9 kHz, and this corresponds to an optical conversion efficiency of 6.8%. The maximum single pulse energy of 65μJ, the shortest pulse-width with full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of 138 ns and the maximum peak power of 470 W are obtained at the pulse repetition frequency of 1 kHz.  相似文献

We present a theoretical and experimental analysis of a diode-pumped single frequency Tm,Ho:YLF laser. A new model for a diode-pumped Tm,Ho:YLF quasi-three-level laser is described. The influence of energy-transfer up-conversion (ETU) and ground-state re-absorption (GSA) has been taken into account. When the incident pump power is 2.8 W, a maximum single frequency output power of 118 mW is obtained from the Tm,Ho:YLF laser at room temperature. The line narrowing elements used are two solid etalons. The single frequency laser can be used as a seed laser for either a larger oscillator or an amplifier. The theoretical results are in good agreement with experimental data.  相似文献

提高808 nm大功率半导体激光器电光转换效率具有重要的学术意义和商业价值,是实现器件小型化、轻量化、高可靠性的必要前提.本文以腔长1.5 mm的传导冷却封装808 nm半导体激光阵列为研究对象,在热沉温度-40—25?C范围内对其进行光电特性测试,对不同温度下电光转换效率的影响因子进行了实验研究和理论分析.结果表明:在-40?C环境温度下,最高电光转换效率从室温25?C时的56.7%提高至66.8%,内量子效率高达96.3%,载流子泄漏损耗的占比贡献由16.6%下降至3.1%.该研究对实现808 nm高效率半导体激光芯片的自主研发具有重要意义.  相似文献

We present what is to our knowledge the first demonstration of a 4.7-W cw Tm:YAG. This proof-of-principle experiment clearly demonstrates the possibility of using a pump absorption that is 2 orders of magnitude (~0.0078 cm(-1)) less than that of the conventional pump absorption (typically >1 cm(-1)). This Tm:YAG laser is pumped intracavity within a Nd:YAG laser for multiple-pass absorption. The maximum conversion efficiency of 2.02 mum is 20%, with a slope efficiency of 35% with respect to the absorbed 1.064-mum power.  相似文献

介绍了热容激光技术的发展历史及现状,介绍了固体激光器热容方式工作的基本原理,报道了二极管泵浦NdYAG圆片激光器热容方式工作的实验结果.用热像仪测量了激光器工作时增益介质通光面上的温度分布特性;采用干涉测量的方法测量了工作中的增益介质的与光束传输方向相垂直的方向上的折射率分布特性;结果表明片状固体增益介质热容方式工作对振荡光束波前畸变影响很小.给出了与光束传输方向相垂直的截面上增益介质的荧光分布.得到输出平均功率达47.5 W,此时的光-光转换效率为17%.  相似文献

A Cr,Tm:YAG laser, under simultaneous flashlamp and diode laser excitation, was demonstrated. With respect to diode pumping a cw-output power of 35 W with a slope efficiency of 20% was achieved. With flashlamp excitation pulse energies up to 465 mJ were realised. This operation was supported by simultaneous diode pumping to bring the laser close to threshold. Repetition rates up to 10 Hz were demonstrated with this simultaneous pumping mode of the Cr,Tm:YAG laser crystal.  相似文献

为提高固体激光器的能量利用率,增大输出能量,将双掺Nd:Ce:YAG晶体的输出特性与普通Nd:YAG晶体进行了对比研究。分析了Nd3+和Ce3+的吸收光谱对激光晶体初始阈值反转粒子数的影响,结果显示:双掺Nd:Ce:YAG晶体可以提高晶体对泵浦光能量的利用率及激光器的输出能量,且可降低阈值泵浦能量。并分别检测了Nd:Ce:YAG激光晶体与Nd:YAG晶体的输出激光能量和阈值泵浦能量,实验结果表明:在输入电压为750 V时,Nd:Ce:YAG晶体与Nd:YAG晶体的输出能量分别为651.5 mJ 和390.4 mJ,能量利用率分别为2.31%和1.38%,激光振荡需要的泵浦能量阈值分别为10.56 mJ和15.21 mJ,且普通Nd:YAG晶体的斜效率为0.36%,而双掺Nd:Ce:YAG晶体的为0.49% 。  相似文献

3+ :Ho3+:YAG laser is operated in active mirror configuration. This laser is characterised by a rather thin crystal (3 mm thickness in our experiment) and a very short resonator (about 3.2 mm). Therefore this laser is well suited for operation in a single longitudinal mode. Single-frequency operation is demonstrated with and without an intracavity etalon. It is further shown that single-frequency emission is reached with a stable cw emission. With a slight detuning of the outcoupling mirror, spiking can be achieved, resulting in an emission on different lines. The assignment of the observed laser lines to the known transitions between Stark sublevels of the 5I7 and the 5I8 level is discussed and compared with predictions in the literature. 为选择合适的激光参量与光伏电池参量,以提高激光无线能量传输(LWPT)系统的能量转换效率,通过实验研究了LWPT系统中能量接收单元,也即光伏电池在半导体激光照射下的输出特性。通过波长为808 nm和915 nm的激光辐照GaAs和Si光伏电池,研究了不同激光功率密度、光伏电池温度、电池类型以及激光入射角度对光伏电池输出特性与能量转换效率的影响。实验中,在波长为808 nm的激光功率密度从0.06 W/cm2上升至0.37 W/cm2的过程中,Si电池的最大输出功率从0.12 W上升至0.32 W,能量转换效率从50.9%下降至21.2%;GaAs电池的最大输出功率从0.40 W上升到1.07 W,能量转换效率从57.9%下降至23.8%。随着激光功率密度的增加,光伏电池的输出功率先增加而后趋于饱和,但是高功率密度激光引起的电池温升会导致其光电转换效率的下降,所以激光功率密度的选择与光伏电池温度的控制是提高LWPT系统能量转换效率的关键因素。  相似文献

A highly efficient cascaded P-doped Raman fiber laser (RFL) pumped by a 1064-nm continuous wave (CW) Nd:YVO4 solid-state laser is reported. 1.15-W CW output power at 1484 nm is obtained while the input pump power is 4 W, corresponding to the power conversion efficiency of 28.8%. The threshold pump power for the second-order Stokes radiation is 1.13 W. The slope efficiency is as high as 42.6%. The experimental results are in good agreement with theoretical ones. Furthermore, the power instability of the P-doped RFL at 1484 nm in an hour is observed to be less than 5%.  相似文献
