针对拉曼驱动场下的四能级理论模型,讨论了实现无吸收、高折射率的条件,并分析了探测场及相干激发场的线宽对介质的折射率及增益的影响。计算结果表明,改变相干激发场 场强,或改变相干场的频率与原子能级间的失谐均可获得介质的无吸收,高折射率。激发扬线宽破坏了原子的相干性,使使介质的增闪下降并改变了折射率的大小,探测场的线宽使介质的探测增益谱及折射率谱的分辨率下降。 相似文献

提出了一个由两个弱探测场和两个强耦合场驱动的四能级双V型原子系统, 研究发现在四波混频共振条件下, 两探测场均可被放大而无须粒子数反转. 值得注意的是, 由于所选择的激发态为超精细结构的两个近能级, 这里必须考虑自发辐射相干效应的影响. 与不考虑自发辐射相干相比, 同样参数条件下探测场的增益得到大幅度提高.而且, 探测场增益对相位非常敏感, 即增益-吸收线型受相位周期性调制, 同时也受两个偶极矩之间夹角θ制约. 此外还分析了相干抽运场 (强耦合场)的失谐对增益谱线产生的影响.

In this paper, we discuss and analyze theoretically probe
absorption-amplification response in a four-level coherent atomic
system with vacuum-induced coherence via changing the sign
of the parameter f, with f denoting the ratio of a pair of dipole moments associated with a doublet of closely upper hyperfine sublevels. We find that the amplitude of the probe
amplification for the case f=-1 can be about one order of
magnitude larger than that achievable for the case f=1. In addition, with respect to the case f=-1 the probe amplification
can be maintained all the time with weak incoherent pumping for a

We theoreticMly investigate the response of the probe amplification in a five-level atomlc system m the presence of interacting double-dark resonances disturbed by introducing an additional signal field. It is found that a large enhancement of the probe amplification with or without population inversion can be achieved by properly adjusting the strengths of the microwave driving field and the signal laser field. We investigate the quantum dynamics of a two-photon micromaser pumped by atoms injected in the superposition state of the upper and intermediate levels. We simulate a master equation governing the system by the Monte Carlo wavefunction approach and analyse the steady-state behaviour as a function of the atomic transit time. The atomic coherence can effectively enhance the intensity and sub-Poissonian of the cavity field as compared with the atomic mixture. It is also discovered that the phase of the cavity field can be shifted by adjusting the detuning between the atom and field. This result shows that it is possible to manipulate the phase of the cavity field by detuning, due to atomic coherence. 相似文献

The quantum coherence effects of the transition Fe = 2←→Fg = 3 depending on the polarization of the coupling and probe beam are observed in a Cs vapor cell. The splitting of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) window is observed when the degeneracy of two-level system is broken using a magnetic field. It is also shown that the splitted transparency points of two of three windows are shifted with the intensity of magnetic field ( i. e. Zeeman splitting in the upper and lower levels ) increasing. On the contrary, when we fix the intensity of magnetic field, and increase the Rabi frequency of the coupling beam, the splitted transparency peaks become wider. A qualitative agreement between experiment and theory is found. 相似文献
