Let Nn(R)be the algebra consisting of all strictly upper triangular n × n matrices over a commutative ring R with the identity.An R-bilinear map φ :Nn(R)×Nn(R)→ Nn(R)is called a biderivation if it is a derivation with respect to both arguments.In this paper,we define the notions of central biderivation and extremal biderivation of Nn(R),and prove that any biderivation of Nn(R)can be decomposed as a sum of an inner biderivation,central biderivation and extremal biderivation for n ≥ 5.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with general n × n upper-triangular operator matrices with given diagonal entries. The characterizations of perturbations of their left(resp. right) Weyl spectrum and Weyl spectrum are given, based on the space decomposition technique. Moreover, some sufficient and necessary conditions are given under which the left(resp. right) Weyl spectrum and the Weyl spectrum of such operator matrix, respectively, coincide with the union of the left(resp. right) Weyl spectrum and the Weyl spectrum of its diagonal entries.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to enlarge some known results from Fredholm and perturbation theory in the Banach algebra of bounded operators on a Banach space to the Fredholm theory in Banach algebra with respect to a subalgebra. Over a 2-torsionfree commutative ring R with identity, the algebra of all strictly upper triangular n + 1 by n + 1 matrices is denoted by n 1. In this article, we prove that any Jordan automorphism of n 1 can be uniquely decomposed as a product of a graph automorphism, a diagonal automorphism, a central automorphism and an inner automorphism for n ≥ 3. In the cases n = 1, 2, we also give a decomposition for any Jordan automorphism of n 1.  相似文献

An element a of a complex Banach algebra with unit \(1I\) and with standard conditions on the norm (‖ab‖ ? ‖a‖ · ‖b‖ and ‖\(1I\)‖ = 1) is said to be Hermitian if ‖e ita ‖ = 1 for any real number t. An element is said to be decomposable if it admits a representation of the form a + ib in which a and b are Hermitian. The decomposable elements form a Banach Lie algebra (with respect to the commutator). The Hermitian components are determined uniquely, and hence this Lie algebra has the natural involution a + ib = x → x* = a ? ib. One can readily see that ‖x*‖ ? 2‖x‖. Among other things, we prove that ‖ x*‖ ? γ‖x‖, where γ < 2. In fact, the situation is treated in more detail: the original problem is included in a continuous family parametrized by the numerical radius of the element. Finding the exact value of the constant γ is reduced to a variational problem in the theory of entire functions of exponential type. Approximately, γ is equal to 1.92 ± 0.04.  相似文献
