This paper presents a very simple method to derive the explicit transformations of the optimal economical 1 to M phase-covariant cloning. The fidelity of clones reaches the theoretic bound [D'Ariano G M and Macchiavello C 2003 Phys. Rev. A 67 042306]. The derived transformations cover the previous contributions [Delgado Y, Lamata L et al, 2007 Phys. Rev. Lett.98 150502] in which M must be odd.  相似文献

Abstract

We investigate the Sundman symmetries of second-order and third-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations. These symmetries, which are in general nonlocal transformations, arise from generalised Sundman transformations of autonomous equations. We show that these transformations and symmetries can be calculated systematically and can be used to find first integrals of the equations.  相似文献

In this paper it is exactly proved that the standard transformations of the three-dimensional (3D) vectors of the electric and magnetic fields E and B are not relativistically correct transformations. Thence the 3D vectors E and B are not well-defined quantities in the 4D space-time and, contrary to the general belief, the usual Maxwell equations with the 3D E and B are not in agreement with the special relativity. The 4-vectors E a and B a , as well-defined 4D quantities, are introduced instead of ill-defined 3D E and B. The proof is given in the tensor and the Clifford algebra formalisms.  相似文献

A two-dimensional, fully numerical approach to the four-component first-order Dirac-differential-equation utilizing the Finite-Element-Method (FEM) is employed for H 2 + and Th 2 179 + . Using elliptic-hyperbolic coordinates and further one-dimensional singular transformations, scaling transformations and extrapolation techniques (geometrical over iteration steps and logarithmic over grid points) we achieve for the molecules H 2 + and Th 2 179 + relative accuracies better than 10-12 for 1(1/2) g energies. Abstract

The B¨acklund transformations for the relativistic lattices of the Toda type and their discrete analogues can be obtained as the composition of two duality transformations. The condition of invariance under this composition allows to distinguish effectively the integrable cases. Iterations of the B¨acklund transformations can be described in the terms of nonrelativistic lattices of the Toda type. Several multifield generalizations are presented.  相似文献

Abstract

We show that the free Schrödinger equation admits Lorentz space-time transformations when corresponding transformations of the ψ-function are nonlocal. Some consequences of this symmetry are discussed.

Abstract

In order to understand the chemical transformations of organic compounds composed of aromatic rings under high pressure and at high temperature, we have studied the benzene behavior up to 25 GPa and 550°C by Raman scattering. The chemical transformations and the phase diagram have been established. This point was worth investigating because the phases of benzene before the chemical transformations influence the characteristics of the recovered compound at atmospheric pressure.  相似文献

Abstract

Transformations of coordinates of points in an infinite-dimensional graded vector space, the so-called contact transformations, are examined. An infinite jet prolongation of the extended configuration space of N spinless particles is the subspace of this vector space. The dynamical equivalence among Lagrangian N-body systems connected by an invertible jet transformation is established. As an example of the invertible jet transformations, a class of gauge transformations of Lagrangian variables is investigated. The method of contact transformations is applied to the Wheeler-Feynman electrodynamics for two point charges.  相似文献

Abstract

The pressure dependences of the temperatures of the crystal-to-amorphous transformations for SiO2 and Geo.7Alo.9 are presented. The field of the existence of amorphous phases of both substances vanishes at high pressure.

The Lorentz transformations are used within the model of a noninertial reference frame without infinitely high accelerations arising at instantaneous jumps of an accelerated observer between different inertial reference frames. It is demonstrated that the twin paradox can be explained within this model with the help of the Lorentz transformations. Based on the model of a noninertial reference frame, the acceleration a measured in the noninertial reference frame is related to the acceleration a measured in an inertial reference frame.  相似文献

Abstract

We discuss some special classes of canonical transformations of the extended phase space, which relate integrable systems with a common Lagrangian submanifold. Various parametric forms of trajectories are associated with different integrals of motion, Lax equations, separated variables and action-angles variables. We report triangular auto-Bäcklund transformations for the solutions of a fifth-order evolution equation, which is a constraint for an invariance condition of the Kaup–Kupershmidt equation derived by E. G. Reyes in his paper titled "Nonlocal symmetries and the Kaup–Kupershmidt equation" [J. Math. Phys. 46 (2005) 073507, 19 pp.]. These auto-Bäcklund transformations can then be applied to generate solutions of the Kaup–Kupershmidt equation. We show that triangular auto-Bäcklund transformations result from a systematic multipotentialization of the Kupershmidt equation.  相似文献

The fundamental difference between the true transformations (TT) and the apparent transformations (AT) is explained. The TT refer to the same quantity, while the AT refer, e.g., to the same measurement in different inertial frames of reference. It is shown that the usual transformations of the three-vectors E and B are - the AT. The covariant electrodynamics with the four-vectors E and B of the electric and magnetic field is constructed. It is also shown that the conventional synchronous definitions of the electromagnetic energy and momentum contain both, the AT of the volume, i.e., the Lorentz contraction, and the AT of E and B, while Rohrlich's expressions contain only the AT of E and B. A manifestly covariant expression for the energy-momentum density tensor and the electromagnetic 4-momentum is constructed using E and B . The 4/3 problem is discussed and it is shown that all previous treatments either contain the AT of the volume, or the AT of E and B, or both of them. In our approach all quantities are four-dimensional spacetime tensors whose transformations are the TT.  相似文献

Abstract

We obtain isomonodromic transformations for Heun’s equation by generalizing the Darboux transformation, and we find pairs and triplets of Heun’s equation which have the same monodromy structure. By composing generalized Darboux transformations, we establish a new construction of the commuting operator which ensures that the finite-gap property is satisfied. As an application, we prove some previous conjectures in part III.  相似文献

In this paper it is shown by using the Clifford algebra formalism that the usual Lorentz transformations of the three-dimensional (3D) vectors of the electric and magnetic fields E and B (which will be named as standard transformations (ST)) are different than the Lorentz transformations (LT) of well-defined quantities from the 4D spacetime. This difference between the ST and the LT is obtained regardless of the used algebraic objects (1-vectors or bivectors) for the representation of the electric and magnetic fields in the usual observer dependent decompositions of F. The LT correctly transform the whole 4D quantity, e.g., Ef : F · γ0, whereas the ST are the result of the application of the LT only to the part of Ef, i.e., to F, but leaving γ0 unchanged. The new decompositions of F in terms of 4D quantities that are defined without reference frames, i.e., the absolute quantities, are introduced and discussed. It is shown that the LT of the 4D quantities representing electric and magnetic fields correctly describe the motional electromotive force (emf) for all relatively moving inertial observers, whereas it is not the case with the ST of the 3D E and B.  相似文献

Abstract

Equation of state and phase transformations of thorium metal have been investigated to 300 GPa at 300 K in a diamond anvil cell using energy dispersive X-ray diffraction employing synchrotron source. Phase transformations in the 70–100 GPa range indicative of 5f-electron bonding are observed and thorium metal is isostructural with its 4f counterpart cerium at ultra high pressures. The measured static equation of state of thorium to 300GPa (volume fraction V/V o = 0.40) at 300K is given. At high pressures, the sd to f electronic transfer has significant influence on the measured equation of state of thorium.  相似文献

Caianiello’s derivation of Quantum Geometry through an isometric embedding of the spacetime (M, g̃) in the pseudo-Riemannian structure (T*M, g* AB ) is reconsidered. In the new derivation, using a non-linear connection and the bundle formalism, we obtain a Lorentzian-type structure in the 4-dimensional manifold M that is covariant under arbitrary local coordinate transformations in M. We obtain that if models with maximal acceleration are non-trivial, gravity should be supplied with other interactions in a unification framework.  相似文献
