Multifunctional organoboron compounds increasingly enable the simple generation of complex, Csp3-rich small molecules. The ability of boron-containing functional groups to modify the reactivity of α-radicals has also enabled a myriad of chemical reactions. Boronic esters with vacant p-orbitals have a significant stabilizing effect on α-radicals due to delocalization of spin density into the empty orbital. The effect of coordinatively saturated derivatives, such as N-methyliminodiacetic acid (MIDA) boronates and counterparts, remains less clear. Herein, we demonstrate that coordinatively saturated MIDA and TIDA boronates stabilize secondary alkyl α-radicals via σB-N hyperconjugation in a manner that allows site-selective C−H bromination. DFT calculated radical stabilization energies and spin density maps as well as LED NMR kinetic analysis of photochemical bromination rates of different boronic esters further these findings. This work clarifies that the α-radical stabilizing effect of boronic esters does not only proceed via delocalization of radical character into vacant boron p-orbitals, but that hyperconjugation of tetrahedral boron-containing functional groups and their ligand electron delocalizing ability also play a critical role. These findings establish boron ligands as a useful dial for tuning reactivity at the α-carbon.  相似文献

When the esters of arylboronic acids with 2,2-dimethylpropan-1,3-diol were treated with a catalytic amount of [Rh(OH)(cod)]2 in the presence of 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane and CsF in dioxane at 60 degrees C under carbon dioxide atmosphere, the benzoic acid derivatives were obtained in good yields. Reactions of alkenylboronic esters also proceeded under similar conditions to give alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acids. As these boronic esters are now easily available through coupling or direct borylation reactions, this method would be a useful method for the preparation of various functionalized aryl- and alkenyl-carboxylic acids.  相似文献

anti-Configured 1,3-dimethyl deoxypropionate motifs are important sub structures in natural products. Herein, we describe a bidirectional approach for the rapid construction of natural products featuring such motifs by using C2-symmetrical 1,3-bis(boronic esters). As for its application in convergent syntheses it was important to establish a selective mono-Zweifel olefination we describe the scope and limitations by using different 1,3-bis(boronic esters) and nucleophiles. This protocol takes advantage of the combination of the Hoppe–Matteson–Zweifel chemistry, which was elegantly put into practice by Aggarwal et al. In order to show its applicability the total syntheses of two natural products, serricornin and (+)-invictolide, were performed.  相似文献

Transition-metal-salt-mediated radical reactions of fullerenes have attracted extensive attention as a new and important method for fullerene functionalization. The application of relatively cheap and easily available ferric perchlorate (Fe(ClO 4 ) 3 ) to the synthesis of [60]fullerene (C 60 ) has demonstrated remarkable advantages and afforded a series of novel fullerene derivatives. In this review we present our recent progress in this area and summarize the reactions of C 60 with malonate esters, β-keto esters, nitriles, aldehydes/ketones, and arylboronic acids in the presence of Fe(ClO 4 ) 3 to afford the C 60-fused disubstituted lactones, C 60-fused hemiketal, C 60-fused dihydrofuran, C 60-fused oxazoles, C 60-fused 1,3-dioxolanes, and fullerenyl boronic esters. The possible reaction mechanisms for the above-mentioned reactions are also described in detail.  相似文献

A novel copper‐catalyzed regiodivergent alkylboration of alkenes with bis(pinacolato)diboron and alkyl halides has been developed. The regioselectivity of the alkylboration was controlled by subtle differences in the ligand structure. The reaction thus enables the practical, regiodivergent synthesis of two different alkyl boronic esters with complex structures from a single alkene.  相似文献

An efficient synthesis of 9,9-bis(2-ethylhexyl)fluorene oligomers up to the heptamer is reported, with repetitive Suzuki and Yamamoto coupling reactions employed in the synthesis. The key steps for preparation of the essential intermediates include Pd-catalyzed transformation of aryl bromides to aryl boronic esters (Miyaura reaction) and the application of the much higher reactivity of aryl boronic esters over aryl bromides in the Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction with aryl diazonium salts. Variation of the UV/Vis absorption and photoluminescence characteristics with chain length is reported. Moreover, glass transition and liquid-crystal characteristics of the oligomers are described and compared with those of the polymer.  相似文献

Fullerenyl boronic esters have been prepared by a ferric perchlorate-promoted reaction of [60]fullerene with various arylboronic acids. The obtained fullerenyl boronic esters could undergo further functionalization with diols to afford C(60)-fused dioxane/dioxepane derivatives. Copper catalyzed multi‐functionalization of unsaturated carbon‐carbon bonds is a powerful tool for the generation of complex molecules. We report a regiodivergent process that allows a switch between 1,4‐borocupration and 4,1‐borocupration of 1,3‐dienes upon a simple change in ligand. The subsequently generated allyl coppers are trapped in an electrophilic cyanation to selectively generate densely functionalized and synthetically versatile 1,2‐ or 4,3‐borocyanation products.  相似文献

The palladium-catalyzed crosscoupling reaction of boronic acids and benzyl bromides can be used successfully for the preparation of benzyls in high yield. This C-C coupling reaction was optimized for the synthesis of polybenzyls by model reactions. Different reaction channels were observed here with meta- and para-bis(bromomethyl)benzenes. The main product with 1,3-bis(chloromethyl)benzene was the corresponding 1,3-dibenzylbenzene, but the main product with 1,4-bis(chloromethyl)benzene was the corresponding biaryl resulting from homocoupling of aromatic boronic acid. 1.3-Linked polybenzyls were synthesized based on the results of the model reactions. n's of 2 380 corresponding to a DP of 26 were found based on GPC. No structural defects were detected within the limits of detection.  相似文献

The discovery of sustainable and scalable synthetic protocols leading to gold–aryl compounds bearing N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands sparked an investigation of their reactivity and potential utility as organometallic synthons. The use of a mild base and green solvents provide access to these compounds, starting from widely available boronic acids and various [Au(NHC)Cl] complexes, with reactions taking place under air, at room temperature and leading to high yields with unprecedented ease. One compound, (N,N′-bis[2,6-(di-isopropyl)phenyl]imidazol-2-ylidene)(4-methoxyphenyl)gold, ([Au(IPr)(4-MeOC6H4)]), was synthesized on a multigram scale and used to gauge the reactivity of this class of compounds towards C−H/N−H bonds and with various acids, revealing simple pathways to gold–based species that possess attractive properties as materials, reagents and/or catalysts.  相似文献

The synthesis of alkyl boronic esters by direct decarboxylative radical addition of carboxylic acids to vinyl boronic esters is described. The reaction proceeds under mild photoredox catalysis and involves an unprecedented single‐electron reduction of an α‐boryl radical intermediate to the corresponding anion. The reaction is amenable to a diverse range of substrates, including α‐amino, α‐oxy, and alkyl carboxylic acids, thus providing a novel method to rapidly access boron‐containing molecules of potential biological importance.  相似文献

A new simple concept for the stoichiometrical functionalization of nanoparticles based on free radical polymerization of vinyl protected nanoparticles is presented. To demonstrate this concept 2-bis(4-vinylphenyl)disulfane was synthesized and used in the synthesis of gold nanoparticles, leading to 4-vinylthiophenol functionalized nanoparticles. Simple free radical polymerization of these particles initiated by 4,4'-azobis-(4-cyanopentanoic acid) delivered nanoparticles with a single carboxyl group. These monofunctionalized gold nanoparticles were utilized for chemical preparation of gold nanoparticle dimers as well as for construction of gold nanoparticle arrays via binding to polyallylamine.  相似文献

The multiple reactivity of the mesomeric anion formed by N- or C(3)-deprotonation of 3-unsubstituted oxindoles hampers the selective introduction of substituents onto the nitrogen atom. A conveniently applicable reaction sequence has been elaborated for the synthesis of 3-unsubstituted oxindole-1-carboxamides starting from the easily available 1,3-bis(phenoxycarbonyl)oxindoles. Selective amidation of the N-phenoxycarbonyl moiety and subsequent removal of the C(3)-phenoxycarbonyl moiety furnished the title compounds, which are useful building blocks for further functionalization. Besides the novel methodologies, several new representatives of this valuable compound family and their intermediates are also described below.  相似文献

基于在碱性环境下硼酸能与顺式二醇化合物可逆共价结合形成稳定的五元或六元环酯,而在酸性环境下环酯开环释放顺式二醇化合物这一特性,设计合成高效、高选择性、高富集性能的硼亲和材料的研究备受关注。近年来,许多研究工作者合成了各种类型的硼亲和材料,应用于高选择性富集顺式二醇化合物。金属有机骨架(MOFs)和共价有机骨架(COFs)由于具有孔径可调、高孔隙率、高比表面积、骨架结构可调和化学及热稳定性良好等特点,被广泛应用于色谱分离和样品前处理领域。为赋予MOFs和COFs材料对顺式二醇化合物的富集选择性,各种不同结构和不同种类的硼酸修饰的MOFs和COFs被合成出来。该综述主要是对近几年来80余篇源于科学引文索引关于硼酸功能化MOFs和COFs的种类、合成方法及其应用文章的总结,包括“金属配体-片段共组装”“合成后修饰”和“自下而上”的硼酸功能化多孔材料的修饰策略,以及硼酸功能化MOFs和COFs的种类,介绍了其在化学分析和生物分析领域的发展概况和应用前景,客观评价了硼酸功能化MOFs和COFs的区别和优缺点。该文旨在让研究人员能够充分了解近几年硼酸功能化多孔有机骨架材料的研究现状、掌握合成思路和方法,为其应用提供一定的理论指导和技术支撑,为加快硼酸功能化多孔有机骨架材料的商业化脚步贡献绵薄之力。  相似文献

An assessment of the C−H activation catalyst [(COD)Ir(IMes)(PPh3)]PF6 (COD=1,5-cyclooctadiene, IMes=1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene) in the deuteration of phenyl rings containing different functional directing groups is divulged. Competition experiments have revealed a clear order of the directing groups in the hydrogen isotope exchange (HIE) with an iridium (I) catalyst. Through DFT calculations the iridium–substrate coordination complex has been identified to be the main trigger for reactivity and selectivity in the competition situation with two or more directing groups. We postulate that the competition concept found in this HIE reaction can be used to explain regioselectivities in other transition-metal-catalyzed functionalization reactions of complex drug-type molecules as long as a C−H activation mechanism is involved.  相似文献

We report herein the synthesis of siloxane-functionalized CBP molecules (4,4′-bis(carbazole)-1,1′-biphenyl) for liquid optoelectronic applications. The room-temperature liquid state is obtained through a convenient functionalization of the molecules with heptamethyltrisiloxane chains via hydrosilylation of alkenyl spacers. The synthesis comprises screening of metal-catalyzed methodologies to introduce alkenyl linkers into carbazoles (Stille and Suzuki Miyaura cross-couplings), incorporate the alkenylcarbazoles to dihalobiphenyls (Ullmann coupling), and finally introduce the siloxane chains. The used conditions allowed the synthesis of the target compounds, despite the high reactivity of the alkenyl moieties bound to π-conjugated systems toward undesired side reactions such as polymerization, isomerization, and hydrogenation. The features of these solvent-free liquid CBP derivatives make them potentially interesting for fluidic optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

An intermolecular, palladium-catalyzed addition of the alpha-C-H bond of monocarbonyl and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds to dienes has been developed, and an exploration of the scope of these reactions with a broad range of carbonyl compounds and nitriles was conducted. The combination of CpPd(allyl) and the commercially available 1,3-bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)propane (DCyPP) catalyzed the 1:1 addition of the C-H bonds of these substrates to dienes in high yields. These reactions included unusual additions of the C-H bonds of ketones, lactones, esters, and nitriles to dienes, as well as the more common additions of cyanoesters, malononitrile, and alpha-sulfonyl esters. Reactions of these substrates with both cyclic and acyclic dienes are reported. Reactions catalyzed by complexes of nonracemic chiral ligands were also conducted, and the first enantioselective version of this reaction was achieved with a Josiphos ligand with enantioselectivities up to 81%.  相似文献

An approach to highly regiodivergent epoxide openings (REOs) is presented. The very popular kinetic resolutions of epoxides and openings of meso-epoxides constitute subclasses of such REOs. REOs are attractive for parallel resolutions, double asymmetric reactions of enantiomerically enriched epoxides, and for semisynthetic applications in the functionalization of natural products. They have been notoriously difficult to realize by means of SN2 mechanisms. Our titanocene-catalyzed radical REO addresses this issue by decoupling epoxide opening and radical trapping and is firmly based on a mechanistic study of the reductive epoxide opening.  相似文献

Two new 1,3-dithiole derivatives, 4,4'-{9-[4,5-bis(methylthio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene]-9H-fluorene-2,7- diyl} dipyridine(2a) and 3,3'-{9-[4,5-bis(methylthio)-1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene]-9H-fluorene-2,7-diyl} dipyridine(2b) were synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR), 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopies. The crystal structure of compound 2b was also studied. The optimized conformations and molecular orbital diagrams of compounds 2a and 2b were illustrated via density functional theory(DFT). By the time-dependent DFT(TD-DFT) method, electronic absorption spectra of compounds 2a and 2b were predicted and the results achieved were in good agreement with the experimental data. The formation of the cationic radical during the electrochemical oxidation process was also proposed.  相似文献
