The mechanical properties of laser welded joints under impact loadings such as explosion and car crash etc. are critical for the engineering designs. The hardness, static and dynamic mechanical properties of AISI304 and AISI316 L dissimilar stainless steel welded joints by CO2 laser were experimentally studied. The dynamic strain-stress curves at the strain rate around 103 s?1 were obtained by the split Hopkinson tensile bar (SHTB). The static mechanical properties of the welded joints have little changes with the laser power density and all fracture occurs at 316 L side. However, the strain rate sensitivity has a strong dependence on laser power density. The value of strain rate factor decreases with the increase of laser power density. The welded joint which may be applied for the impact loading can be obtained by reducing the laser power density in the case of welding quality assurance.  相似文献

Accurate prediction of crack-driving force equations is important in any pipeline fracture assessment program. In highly ductile materials, such as pipeline steel, a considerable amount of stable crack growth can be tolerated before the failure of the structure. The existing methods use simplified analytical procedures to account for ductile tearing, and they often result in conservative critical crack sizes. Further, none of the published numerical tools for modelling crack growth is suitable for engineering applications. This work describes a simple method for simulating through-thickness ductile tearing in surface cracked pipes, using line-spring finite elements. The crack growth resistance curve is used to advance the crack front. The line-spring results are verified using crack growth simulations employing the Gurson damage model. Finally, a detailed parametric study is carried out to examine the effect of ductile tearing on crack driving force relationships in circumferentially surface cracked pipes. The results demonstrate that considering ductile tearing is important in fracture assessment procedures for pipelines.  相似文献

Very high cycle fatigue (VHCF) behaviors of bridge steel (Q345) welded joints were investigated using an ultrasonic fatigue test system at room temperature with a stress ratio R = ?1. The results show that the fatigue strength of welded joints is dropped by an average of 60% comparing to the base metal and the fatigue failure still occurred beyond 107 cycles. The fatigue fracture of welded joints in the low cycle regime generally occurred at the solder while at the heat-affected zone (HAZ) in the very high cycle regime. The fatigue fracture surface was analyzed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), showing welding defects such as pore, micro-crack and inclusion were the main factors on decreasing the fatigue properties of welded joints. The effect of welding defects on the fatigue behaviors of welded joints was discussed in terms of experimental results and finite element simulations.  相似文献

阐述了用实验确定在常温及静载和动载条件下韧性撕裂在三种管线钢材中传播时的断裂比能值。实验中采用了销钉加载双面开槽的双悬脊梁(DCB)试件。应用能量平衡法对实验结果进行了分析。考察了加载速率和试件厚度对撕裂韧性的影响。结果表明,管线钢材对韧性撕裂传播的阻力在动载条件下增大,对较薄的试件及应变率敏感性较高的材料其增大更为明显。对于纯剪切断裂的传播来说,撕裂韧性一般随试件厚度的增大而增加。  相似文献

Offshore pipelines subjected to accidental loads, such as impacts from trawl gear or anchors, may experience large global displacements from its initial position and large local strains. The axial forces set up during deformation move the pipeline back towards its initial position, thereby creating a complex local stress and strain history that may lead to fracture in the pipeline. In this study, material and component tests have been carried out on an X65 offshore pipeline material to investigate the behaviour during impact, and to observe if fracture occurs. Pipes were first impacted in a pendulum accelerator at varying velocities before they were pulled straight in a tension machine. Fracture was found in the impacted area of all the pipes. Material tests were carried out to determine the characteristics of the X65 pipeline material. A metallurgical investigation was also conducted, revealing that fracture initiated both inside the pipe wall and on the surface.  相似文献

采用四步法计算了考虑循环载荷中压应力影响的正交异性钢桥面板的肋-面板焊缝表面裂纹扩展。第一步是基于正交异性钢桥面板的疲劳分析模型,计算肋-面板焊缝处的应力,第二步是通过肋-面板焊缝的三维局部模型,用Schwartz-Neumann交替法计算焊缝表面裂纹的应力强度因子分布,第三步是用二维断裂力学模型和增量塑性损伤模型,计算循环载荷中的压应力对裂纹扩展的影响,第四步是用第二步中的三维裂纹分析结果和第三步中的二维断裂力学模型得到的裂纹扩展公式,计算钢桥面板的肋-面板焊缝表面裂纹扩展。计算结果表明,对应于正交异性钢桥面板肋-面板焊缝处的循环应力,本文所用模型的裂纹尖端反向塑性区导致裂纹扩展率增加50%以上。研究结果为正交异性钢桥面板肋-面板焊缝裂纹的疲劳寿命分析提供了研究基础。  相似文献

本文通过单轴拉伸和压缩试验研究了X80管线钢的包申格效应(BE)。采用正向与反向加载方法研究材料变形历史特性。测定了X80钢的简单拉伸试验曲线,其应力-应变关系表明,该材料具有理想弹塑性特点。为了得到X80钢的BE,在不同预变形下对几个试件分别进行加载,并当给定的预应变值分别达到0.63%,0.67%,0.95%,1.27%和1.55%时就卸载。随后再进行反向加载实验,并记录应力应变曲线。该钢材反向加载时出现加工硬化,且屈服强度比正向加载时要低。正反向加载之间的屈服强度差值随着预应变增加而增大;当预应变超过0.95%时,反向屈服强度达到恒量。实验表明,X80钢的反向加载特性可用Remberg-Osgood关系拟合。最后给出了屈服强度降和预塑性应变之间的经验公式。  相似文献

Laser shock peening (LSP) is a widely used surface treatment technique that can effectively improve the fatigue life and impact toughness of metal parts. Cr5Mo1V steel exhibits a gradient hardened layer after a LSP process. A new method is proposed to estimate the impact toughness that considers the changing mechanical properties in the gradient hardened layer. Assuming a linearly gradient distribution of impact toughness, the parameters controlling the impact toughness of the gradient hardened layer were given. The influences of laser power densities and the number of laser shots on the impact toughness were investigated. The impact toughness of the laser peened layer improves compared with an untreated specimen, and the impact toughness increases with the laser power densities and decreases with the number of laser shots. Through the fracture morphology analysis by a scanning electron microscope, we established that the Cr5Mo1V steel was fractured by the cleavage fracture mechanism combined with a few dimples. The increase in the impact toughness of the material after LSP is observed because of the decreased dimension and increased fraction of the cleavage fracture in the gradient hardened layer.  相似文献

钢框架梁柱节点在最近几次地震中经历了大量断裂破坏现象。可以采用杆端非线性弹簧模型对这种破坏模式进行数值模拟。为了确定断裂分析模型的参数,本文进行了结构钢(Q235c,Q345c)焊接热影响区断裂性能试验研究,获得了两种材料在焊接热影响区的JR阻力曲线。通过比较不同的断裂准则,考虑了裂纹失稳扩展前的稳态裂纹累计,根据J积分撕裂模量法建立了裂纹失稳的失效评定图。采用两种材料分别制作了一组外形尺寸一致,初始裂纹尺寸不同的单边裂纹焊接板,测出相应的极限拉伸应力,并和理论曲线进行了对比。最后,对于本文研究结果的适用范围做了说明。  相似文献

More often than not, better formability in the simple tension test implies better formability performance in other stretching modes, especially in hole expansion performance since deformation in the hole expansion test is perceived to be in the same simple tension deformation mode. However, when the hole expansion formability is evaluated particularly for the twinning induced plasticity (TWIP) steel, its performance is so poor compared to other automotive steels, even though the TWIP steel has significantly superior formability in the simple tension test. Therefore, hole expansion formability was experimentally and numerically studied for advanced high-strength grade steel sheets, TWIP940 and a transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) 590 steel sheet, as well as a high-strength grade 340R steel sheet, particularly in conjunction with formability in the simple tension test and its surface condition sensitivity. In order to characterize mechanical properties, simple tension tests were performed to determine anisotropic properties and strain rate sensitivities. To account for macro-crack formation, an inverse calibration method based on a damage model utilizing a triaxiality-dependent fracture criterion and hardening behavior with stiffness deterioration was developed. In this approach, the damage model was inversely calibrated by performing numerical simulations and experiments for the simple tension test (with specimens prepared by milling and punching). Then, the damage model was applied to formability study in the hole expansion test. The damage model along with the anisotropic yield function Hill (1948) incorporated into the ABAQUS/Explicit FEM code performed well to predict hole expansion ratios (HER) and their surface condition sensitivity, elucidating the cause of the lukewarm hole expansion performance and strong surface condition sensitivity of the TWIP steel compared to the others.  相似文献

为探明爆炸冲击条件下管线接头部位受力变形的特点和规律,在室内爆炸试验碉堡测试系统内分别对直管线、带直接头和弯头管线动力响应情况进行对比试验研究,测试了接头连接处迎爆面及其背面的轴向应变,并对测试结果进行了对比分析。结果表明,管径突变会产生应力集中,接头部位是管线系统的薄弱环节;接头的厚径比是影响接头部位防爆抗震性能的重要参数;接头的类型是影响管线系统防爆抗震性能的重要因素,在管线设计中要尽量减少弯头数量,设置橡胶软接头可增强管线系统防爆抗震性能。  相似文献

Results of an experimental study of properties of joints obtained by using different regimes of laser welding of the 1424 alloy (Al–Mg–Li) are reported. The strength and structure of the welded joints are determined. The influence of various types of welded joint straining on its strength is studied. Experimental analyses are made for the local damage evolution of structural response for a steel truss structure with pre-existing defects in welded joints. Employing a scaled down specimen of the steel truss present in decks of long-span bridges, the photoelastic coating method is adopted to obtain data information on local hot-spot strains near the welded joints while strain and displacement gauges are employed for collecting information on the response of the global structure. Initially, a finite element model of the steel truss is established for the purpose of pre-experimental evaluation. Defects such as holes and a crack are pre-existing near the welded joints. The local plastic damage evolution is captured by photoelastic images and evaluated in relation to the global structural mechanical performance. Local defects tend to affect the weldment details and structural rigidity more appreciably than changes in the structural nominal strains.  相似文献

提出了预制厚钢板焊缝断裂韧度试样疲劳裂纹的“高K比法”。用“高K比法”预制疲劳裂纹,不需要对焊缝试样进行局部韧带压缩或反向弯曲等预处理,简化了焊接接头断裂韧度试验方法,而且此法不改变原焊缝残余应力,所得到的焊缝断裂韧度值更准确,有效地解决了厚钢板焊接接头韧度评定技术的关键问题。“高K比法”可以缩短断裂韧度试验所需的时间、减少备用试样、节约人力物力。介绍了“高K比法”的试验原理、试验方法、工程应用和意义。  相似文献

用A2参数描述裂纹尖端约束效应,考虑裂纹尖端约束水平对断裂阻力的影响,对R6失效评定曲线进行修正。以X80钢为例,根据不同约束水平试件测试得到的JR–△a曲线,给出了与裂纹尖端约束相关的失效评定曲线。在使用有限元对带裂纹内压管道进行弹塑性分析的基础上,利用失效评定曲线对失效载荷进行预测;与试验结果比较表明:采用约束修正失效评定曲线,在对存在缺陷的构件进行安全性评定、寿命评估、失效概率计算时,考虑约束效应对断裂韧度的影响可以更充分地发挥构件的强度潜力。  相似文献

In order to investigate formability performance and also to obtain guidelines for the stamping process design of friction stir welded TWB (tailor welded blank) sheets, the hemispherical dome stretching test was experimentally performed and the results of the base and friction stir welded samples were compared. Also, in order to better understand the experimental results, numerical analysis was performed. In this work, five automotive sheets, 6111-T4, 5083-H18, 5083-O aluminum alloy, dual-phase steel (DP590) and AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets were considered by (friction stir) welding the same materials. To represent mechanical properties for the numerical analysis, the non-quadratic orthotropic yield function, Yld2000-2d, was utilized for the aluminum alloy and DP590 sheets, while the Cazacu anisotropic/asymmetric yield function was applied for the AZ31 sheet considering different hardening behavior in tension and compression.  相似文献

The fatigue failure kinetics for welded joints of low-alloyed steel is investigated by analyzing the displacement vector field under high-cyclic loading. Failure accumulation in the heat-affected zone at the mesoscale is found to possess a multi-stage character that is associated with the formation and evolution of mesostructure deformation and fragmentation. Identified are the pertinent parameters that described the mechanical state of welded joints under load.  相似文献

A large bulk of experimental data from static tests of sharp and blunt V-notches and from fatigue tests of welded joints are presented in an unified way by using the mean value of the Strain Energy Density (SED) over a given finite-size volume surrounding the highly stressed regions. When the notch is blunt, the control area assumes a crescent shape and R0 is its width as measured along the notch bisector line. In plane problems, when cracks or pointed V-notches are considered, the volume becomes a circle or a circular sector, respectively. The radius R0 depends on material fracture toughness, ultimate tensile strength and Poisson’s ratio in the case of static loads; it depends on the fatigue strength ΔσA of the butt ground welded joints and the Notch Stress Intensity Factor (NSIF) range ΔK1 in the case of welded joints under high cycle fatigue loading (with ΔσA and ΔK1 valid for 5 × 106 cycles).Dealing with welded joints characterised by a plate thickness greater than 6 mm, the final synthesis based on SED summarises nine hundred data taken from the literature while a new synthesis from spot-welded joints under tension and shear loading, characterised by a limited thickness of the main plate, is presented here for the first time (more than two hundred data).Dealing with static tests, about one thousand experimental data as taken from the recent literature are involved in the synthesis. The strong variability of the non-dimensional radius R/R0, ranging from about zero to about 1000, makes the check of the approach based on the mean value of the SED severe.  相似文献

采用固体渗硼与激光热处理复合工艺对 4 5 #钢试样进行表面改性 ,在 4 5 #钢表面得到完整的硼共晶层 ,采用扫描电子显微镜观察分析表面改性处理后的 4 5 #钢试样同 GCr15钢对摩时的磨损表面形貌 ,并考察了其磨损机理 .结果表明 ,经表面渗硼和激光热处理后 ,4 5 #钢表层形成共晶化组织 ,相应的硼共晶表面改性层具有适当的硬度和韧性 ,因而其抗磨粒磨损性能明显改善 ;表面改性处理后的 4 5 #钢试样同 GCr15钢对摩时呈现断裂磨损特征  相似文献
