When dynamic force is applied to a saturated porous soil, drainage is common. In this paper, the saturated porous soil with a two-phase saturated medium is simulated, and Lamb's integral formulas with drainage and stress formulas for a two-phase saturated medium are given based on Biot's equation and Betti's theorem (the reciprocal theorem). According to the basic solution to Biot's equation, Green's function Gij and three terms of Green's function G4i, Gi4, and G44 of a two-phase saturated medium subject to a concentrated force on a spherical coordinate are presented. The displacement field with drainage, the magnitude of drainage, and the pore pressure of the center explosion source are obtained in computation. The results of the classical Sharpe's solutions and the solutions of the two-phase saturated medium that decays to a single-phase medium are compared. Good agreement is observed.  相似文献

首先将横观各向同性饱和弹性多孔介质非轴对称问题的Bio t波动方程,变换为适宜于进行分离变量法求解的形式;然后在非轴对称简谐激励下,用分离变量法得到Bio t方程的一般解,即用分离变量法求得了多孔介质位移和应力分量的解析表达式;并给出了半空间横观各向同性饱和弹性多孔介质在表面竖向简谐荷载作用下表面竖向位移的数值分析结果,得出载荷对30倍受载半径以外的区域几乎无影响的结论。同时表明了本文的分析方法是切实可行的。  相似文献

The Green’s functions of a two-phase saturated medium subjected to a concentrated force are known to play an important role in seismology, earthquake engineering, soil dynamics, geophysics, and dynamic foundation theory. This paper presents a physical method for obtaining the dynamic Green’s functions of a two-phase saturated medium for materials considered to be isotropic and for low frequencies. First, the pore-fluid pressure in a two-phase saturated medium is divided into two parts: flow pressure and deformation pressure. Next, based on the compatibility condition of Biot’s equation and the property of the δ-function, the problem of coupled_fast and slow dilational waves is solved using the decomposition condition of the potential dilation field. The Green’s function for a concentrated force is then obtained by solving Biot’s complex modular equations, and their physical characteristics are discussed. The behavior of Green’s functions for the solid and fluid phases of a δ-impulsive force is investigated, from which the Green’s functions for a unit Heaviside force are also obtained by time integration. Finally, the present Green’s functions for a unit Heaviside force are compared with those obtained by a purely mathematical method; the two differ in form, but the numerical results are identical. The physical meaning of the expressions of Green’s functions obtained in this paper is evident. Therefore, the results may benefit future research on the dynamic responses of a two-phase saturated medium.  相似文献

Before the First World War, Tullio Levi-Civita (1873–1941) was already a well-known mathematician in Italy and abroad, in particular in France. Professor at the University of Padua since 1898, he had published important contributions to tensor calculus, theory of relativity, differential geometry, hydrodynamics, and the three-body problem. In 1918, when he moved to the University of Rome, he created an international school of mathematics. In this paper, we focus on d'Alembert's paradox to which Levi-Civita and some of his Italian and French followers contributed remarkable solutions. This case-study is used to illustrate Levi-Civita's approach to hydrodynamics and its influence in Italy and France, especially in the period 1910–1914.  相似文献

According to the Green function on two-phase saturated medium by concentrated force in three-dimentional displacement field obtained by Ding Bo-yang et al. , it gives out the Green function in two-dimensional displacement field by infinite integral method along x3 -direction derived by De Hoop and Manolis. This article deals with the determination of the static displacement function of an Euler-Bernoulli beam with two guided supports. To this end, the Green's function method is employed and exact solution is obtained. The Green's function of the problem is constructed, using pertinent boundary conditions of the problem. Nevertheless, the problem does not admit a Green's function due to a mathematical contradiction. In order to eliminate the trouble, the Fredholm Alternative Theorem is utilized and the Green's function is modified. In this case, application of this theorem adds a particular term to the Green's function which gives rise to an arbitrary constant in the Green's function. Moreover, it is shown that the problem may have no solution or an infinite number of solutions. Besides, the necessary condition for having any solution is investigated. This requirement, which states a significant rule in the mechanics of solids, is the static equilibrium of vertical forces acting on the beam. Some examples are presented and results are thoroughly discussed.  相似文献

The observation that the hyperbolic shallow water equations and the Green–Naghdi equations in Lagrangian coordinates have the form of an Euler–Lagrange equation with a natural Lagrangian allows us to apply Noether's theorem for constructing conservation laws for these equations. In this study the complete group analysis of these equations is given: admitted Lie groups of point and contact transformations, classification of the point symmetries and all invariant solutions are studied. For the hyperbolic shallow water equations new conservation laws which have no analog in Eulerian coordinates are obtained. Using Noether's theorem a new conservation law of the Green–Naghdi equations is found. The dependence of solutions on the parameter is illustrated by self-similar solutions which are invariant solutions of both models.  相似文献

基于Biot波动方程,经过Fourier变换和逆Fourier变换后可获得波数-频率域以及时间-空间域的解析解。通过数值分析的手段研究了移动荷载作用下饱和多孔弹性地基中波的传播特性。重点就弥散曲线、多谱勒效应、波的成分和动力响应频率等几个特性进行了分析,发现饱和土地基由于比弹性地基多了一项流体介质,波动特性明显差异于弹性介质。  相似文献

Equations of the mechanics of a saturated porous medium that account for the deformation tensor of the fluid and the initial state of the medium are derived. Emphasis is on the linearization and justification of the basic nonlinear equations of the theory. The relationship between the pressure (deformation) of the fluid and the thermodynamic and kinematic parameters of the medium is established. A numerical study of natural convection in a two-phase, two-component flow in a porous medium heated from below is presented. Interphase mass and energy transfer, latent heat and bouyancy effects are major physical features. This study extends earlier studies of natural convection based on single-phase, saturated porous medium models. The appearance of two-phase heat pipe zones in the flow has a marked effect on the fluid and heat flows as well as on the performance of the numerical methods. The numerical techniques for handling phase change, Jacobian construction and time step selection are discussed.  相似文献

The paper investigates the effect of radiation on Darcy's buoyancy induced flow of an optically dense viscous incompressible fluid along a heated inclined flat surface maintained at uniform temperature placed in a saturated porous medium with Rosseland diffusion approximation employing the implicit finite difference method together with Keller box elimination technique. Both the streamwise and normal components of the buoyancy force are retained in the momentum equations. The numerical results show that as the buoyancy parameter, ξ, increases the local Nusselt number increases. The results for the locally nonsimilar solutions are compared with the locally similar solutions for small angle of inclination and approximate similar solutions along vertical surface. The effect of the conduction-radiation parameter, R d , and the surface temperature excess ration, θ w , on the local Nusselt number, the tangential velocity distribution and the temperature distribution are also shown graphically.  相似文献

An analytical solution to the three-dimensional scattering and diffraction of plane SV-waves by a saturated hemispherical alluvial valley in elastic half-space is obtained by using Fourier–Bessel series expansion technique. The hemispherical alluvial valley with saturated soil deposits is simulated with Biot’s dynamic theory for saturated porous media. The following conclusions based on numerical results can be drawn: (1) there are a significant differences in the seismic response simulation between the previous single-phase models and the present two-phase model; (2) the normalized displacements on the free surface of the alluvial valley depend mainly on the incident wave angles, the dimensionless frequency of the incident SV waves and the porosity of sediments; (3) with the increase of the incident angle, the displacement distributions become more complicated; and the displacements on the free surface of the alluvial valley increase as the porosity of sediments increases.The project was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (50478062 and 10532070) and Open Fund at the Key Laboratory of Urban Security and Disaster Engineering (Beijing University of Technology), Chinese Ministry of Education. Healing of nonphysical flow solutions and shock instability from the use of Roe's flux‐difference splitting scheme is presented. The proposed method heals nonphysical flow solutions such as the carbuncle phenomenon, the shock instability from the odd–even decoupling problem, and the expansion shock generated from the violated entropy condition. A numerical scheme is used to investigate boundary layer effects in a shock tube. The method consists of a mixture of Roe's approximate Riemann solver and central differences for the convective fluxes and central differences for the viscous fluxes and is implicit in one space dimension. Comparisons are made with experimental data and with solutions obtained via boundary layer equations. Examination of the calculated flow field explains the observed behaviour and highlights the approximate nature of boundary layer solutions.  相似文献
